This study investigated the characteristics of obesity induced by a high-fat diet (HD) over 13 weeks in Rhbdf2 gene knockout (KO) mice. Forty 7-week-old Rhbdf2 wild and KO mice were used and the mice were divided into 4 groups: Wild-ND (n=10, Rhbdf2 wild mice, normal diet (ND)), Wild-HD (n=10, Rhbdf2 wild mice, HD), KO-ND (n=10, Rhbdf2 KO mice, ND) and KO-HD (n=10, Rhbdf2 KO mice, HD). The relative epididymal fat weight in KO-HD was significantly increased compared with that in KO-ND (P<0.01). The relative liver and spleen weights in KO-HD were decreased compared with those in Wild-HD (p < 0.05) and KO-ND (p < 0.01). The mRNA expression of SOD1 in KO-ND was significantly reduced compared with that in Wild-ND (p < 0.05). In Wild-ND and HD, the mRNA expressions of TNF-α and IL-6 in epididymal fat were significantly increased compared with those in KO-ND and HD (p < 0.01). A significant increase of TNF- α and IL-6 mRNA expression was observed in KO-HD compared with KO-ND (p < 0.01). These results indicated that Rhbdf2 genes may regulate high fat diet-induced obesity damage by anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative roles in fat tissue of mice.

Ionizing treatments were applied at 5Gy, 10Gy, 50Gy, 100Gy and 500Gy to mushroom mycelium (Lentinula edodes) in order to assesss the effect of the gamma-ray radiation. We mutated by gamma irradiation, 12 strains were isolated. 9 strains of 12 strains were appeared antagonistic interaction on solid medium. Growth rate of mycelium in JMIR-3 and JMIR-6 strains were similar to their control. But, the growth rate of strain JMIR-1, JMIR-2, JMIR-4, JMIR-5, JMIR-7, JMIR-8, JMIR-9, JMIR-10, JMIR-11 and JMIR-12 had generally different compared to control. In the sequence of ITS region of selected strains, it was revealed that the total length ranged from 696 to 780bp. The reciprocal homologies of the ITS region sequences in 5Gy irradiation group (JMIR-5, JMIR-6, JMIR-7 and JMIR-8) and 10Gy irradiation group (JMIR-9, JMIR-10, JMIR-1 and JMIR-12) indicated 99%. The reciprocal homologies of the ITS region sequences in 500Gy irradiation group (JMIR-1, JMIR-2, JMIR-3 and JMIR-4) indicated from 95 to 99%. It seemed that mycelium growth and ITS sequence could be changed the irradiation dose of the gamma-ray radiation.

모노머, 광개시제, 바인더 폴리머로 이루어진 고분자 필름 상에는 광원에 의해서 홀로그라피 기록이 이루어지며, 이는 투과되는 광원과 회절되는 광원 사이의 비를 나타내는 회절 효율을 비교함으로써 기록 효율성을 측정할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이전 연구[1]에서 진행된 솔-겔 바인더를 이용한 포토폴리머 시스템에서 측정된 실험적인 회절 효율과 중합 속도를 바탕으로, 홀로그라피 기록 시간에 따른 이론적인 회절 강도를 모사하고, 이를 실험적인 값과 비교해보았다. Frist harmonic diffusion model이 이론적인 바탕이 되었고, 이 식은 폴리머가 빛에 의해서 photopolymerization되는 과정에서, 모노머의 중합과 확산 사이의 관계를 나타내는 식으로 실험 시스템 상에서 중합과 확산 속도를 계산함으로써 시스템을 이해할 수 있었으며, 특히, 다른 바인더 함량과 레이저 세기에 따른 홀로그라피 기록을 살펴봄으로서, 홀로그라피 기록 과정을 추측해 볼 수 있었다.

게임 개발에 있어서 사용자와 게임간의 상호작용은 중요한 요인이다. 본 논문은 슈팅게임에서의 Leaderboard UI에 대해 고찰하고 Leaderboard UI의 유무 및 제공하는 빈도에 따른 사용자의 수행수준에 대하여 연구한다. 본 연구를 위해 3인칭 슈팅 게임을 개발하였으며 80명의 대학생을 대상으로 실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과에 대해 T-test 분석 기법을 활용하여 그 통계적 의미를 분석하였다. 최종적으로 사용자의 수행수준 향상을 위해서는 Leaderboard의 유무 및 제공 빈도보다는 사용자의 게임 경험이 더 큰 요인이며 유의미한 차이를 발생시킨다는 결론을 얻었다.
