PURPOSES : This study aims to analyze the causes of pedestrian traffic accidents on community roads. METHODS : This study collected variables affecting pedestrian traffic accidents on community roads based on field surveys and analyzed them using negative binomial regression and zero-inflated negative binomial regression models. RESULTS : Model analysis results showed that the negative binomial regression model is more suitable than the zero-inflation negative binomial regression model. Additionally, the segment length (m), pedestrian volume (persons/15 min), traffic volume (numbers/15 min.), the extent of illegal parking, pedestrian-vehicle conflict ratio, and one-way traffic (one: residential, two: commercial) were found to influence pedestrian traffic accidents on community roads. Model fitness indicators, comparing actual values with predicted values, showed an MPB of 1.54, MAD of 2.57, and RMSE of 7.03. CONCLUSIONS : This study quantified the factors contributing to pedestrian traffic accidents on community roads by considering both static and dynamic elements. Instead of uniformly implementing measures, such as pedestrian priority zones and facility improvements on community roads, developing diverse strategies that consider various dynamic factors should be considered.
목적 : 본 연구는 상대가치점수를 기반으로 하는 국내 건강보험수가의 행위별 수가제가 국제 기능・장애 및 건강에 대한 분류(International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health; ICF)의 건강 개 념에 적합한 비용을 지출하고 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 2003년-2013년 건강보험 및 의료급여권자 중 인구전체를 대표하는 100만 명의 샘플인 국민 건강보험공단의 건강보험 표본코호트 자료를 이용하였다. 건강보험요양급여비용의 이학요법료 중 제3절 전문재활치료료에 해당하는 행위들을 건강보험심사평가원에서 제시한 행위정의에 따라 신체기능과 활동 및 참여로 분류한 후 청구 통계량을 비교분석하였다. 결과 : 국내 재활치료 수가체계는 독립적인 일상생활활동, 활동/참여 그리고 가정이나 사회로 복귀를 통한 삶의 질 향상이라는 ICF의 건강 및 재활의학의 개념을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 또한, 환자의 상병군, 중 증도에 따른 재활치료의 효율적 수행을 위한 급성기–아급성기(회복기)-만성기의 재활의료체계가 정립되어 있지 않음을 확인하였다. 결론 : 재활치료의 효율적 수행을 위해서는 급성기- 아급성기(회복기)- 만성기의 재활의료체계가 정립되어야 하고 재활의료체계 내에서 의료기관 종별 역할이 구분이 필요하다. 이와 함께 적절한 재활치료 보험수가 체계 그리고 심사기준의 신설 및 개선이 필요하다.
In recent years, the globalization has raised the interest in the overseas experiential learning. Overseas experiential learning has been playing an important role by learning from various cultures which enables the students to achieve the global insights and leadership. However, the regulations have not been properly established, and Ministry of Education tend to recommend not to travel abroad without a special purpose. The results were found that teachers seek the exchange program with the local students in the partner country, and, overall, the cost-effectiveness was relatively low. Also, with the fact that the revisit was not recommendable, the satisfaction of the previous activities has been questioned. Teachers agreed with the critical points on career development of middle school and high school students, and positively rated the suggested prototype of oversea experiential learning based on career education.
본 논문은 휴대 전화를 이용하여 근거리 무선 통신을 수행할 때 발생하는 과금, 지연, 가입된 이동통신사가 다른 단말 간 통신 등의 제약을 해결하기 위한 방법으로, 블루투스(Bluetooth) 기반의 외부 통신 장치를 제안한다. 제안하는 방법을 통해 블루투스가 내장되어 있지 않은 단말기, 블루투스가 내장되어 있다 하더라도 이를 제어할 수 없는 단말기에서도 근거리 무선 통신을 지원할 수 있게 된다. 또한 WIPI Jlet 기반의 소프트웨어 제작을 통해 제안한 하드웨어를 활용하는 여러 가지 방법에 대해 기술한다. 마지막으로 제작된 외부 통신 장치와 라이브러리를 이용하여 두 개의 게임을 실제로 만들었다. 이러한 게임은 사용자들이 근거리 통신을 통하여 게임을 진행하는 방식이다. 이러한 게임들을 통하여 일반 기능폰 간의 통신뿐만 아니라 기능 폰과 Windows Mobile과 같은 스마트폰과의 통신을 통한 다양한 활용성에 대해 기술한다.
This study aimed at evaluating current sanitation management performances in Korean-Food restaurants by their operation types and to develop sanitary training posters based on the risk factors, in an attempt to improve the level of sanitation management in Korean food service facilities. Eighteen Korean-food restaurants that are managed by franchisor, franchisees as well as self-managed with large-scale and small-scale restaurants in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do, were evaluated by on-the-spot inspectors with an auditing tool consisting of three dimensions, nine categories and thirty four items. Data were analyzed using SPSS. The total score of each group showed that restaurants managed by franchisees ranked the highest (59 out of 100 points), while self-managed, small-scale restaurants ranked the lowest (44 out of 100 points). In the categorization of sanitation management compliance, the dimensions of food hygiene during production recorded the lowest compliance rate of 47.7% (22.89/48.0 points) followed by the dimension of environmental hygiene 59.3% (20.17/34.0 points) and personal hygiene 60.5% (10.89/18.0 points). This indicated the need for urgent improvement. The items which showed the lowest compliance rates were 'proper thawing of frozen foods' (0%), 'notifying and observing heating/reheating temperature' (6%), 'using of hand-washing facility and proper hand-washing' (33%), 'monitoring temperature of frozen-foods and cold-foods' (35%), and 'prevention of cross-contamination' (36%) among thirty four items. Self-managed, small-scale restaurants, in particular, needed to improve sanitary practices such as 'sanitation education for employee', 'verifying the employee health inspection reports', 'storing food on the shelves 15 cm distance away from the wall', 'suitability of ventilation capacity of hoods' and 'cleanliness of drainage'. On the basis of the findings of this study, we developed sanitary training posters, especially for small-scale restaurant operators. This could be an effective tool to educate food service employees on sanitary knowledge and principles and could be used to improve the existing sanitary conditions in Korean food service facilities.
This paper is to suggest a proposal for creating directions for Korean textbooks with Chinese-Korean idiomatic phrases, and to present a lesson as a model. Korean textbooks with Chinese-Korean idiomatic phrases which are used for Korean language education are recommended to express not only their inherent abundant stories but also various stories which posses cultural values reflecting various aspects of Korean traditional cultures and modern societies. In addition, common issues such as environmental or social issues must also be included. Students will learn cultural knowledge regarding Korea through these reading materials. They will also understand the natural proper meaning and usage of Chinese-Korean idiomatic phrases. Readers will acquire Chinese-Korean idiomatic phrases as expressive vocabulary through various activities such as games and word puzzles. Chinese-Korean idiomatic phrases often appear in reading materials such as newspapers and social or cultural books. Readers will grasp the text’s content, and as a result, will be able to easily approach various reading materials as well. Therefore, an ideal textbook for learning Chinese-Korean idiomatic phrases must be developed to enhance the efficiency of Korean language education.
Recognizing the importance of culture in language learning, this paper suggests a cultural education through the use of Korean proverbs. Proverbs not only reflect how people think and live, they also cover various themes. Korean language learners have difficulties in understanding Korean proverbs because they contain elements of Korean culture. Korean language learners should be systematically educated in proverbs to effectively communicate with Koreans, as well as to better understand Korean culture. Therefore, it is essential to study how to teach them effectively, and a cultural education textbook based on this study will have to be published. Proverbs education methods have focused on understanding. We will focus on expression education as well as understanding education. This type of textbook will offer a chance to easily learn korean proverbs by providing an interesting format. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the best direction for teaching Korean proverbs, and to present a lesson as a model about their education.
This experiment was carried out to develop the model system for mass production of biomedical and nutritional proteins (human proteins) through mamraary gland of the transgenic cattle produced by gene manipulation and embryological technologies. Human growth hormone gene fused with rat -casein gene promoter was microinjected into pronuclei of one cell bovine embryos produced by in vitro fertilization. After microinjection, embryos were cultured in vitro for 6 or 7 days. Twenty embryos reaching to blastocysts were transferred to 10 beef recipients, each receiving two embryos. Recipients were diagnosed for pregnancy by rectal palpation at 76 days after embryo transfer. One of them was pregnant to term and produced a female calf weighing 21 kg at 280 days following embryo transfer. DNA was extracted from umbilical cord tissue and blood of calf born for confirming gene insertion. As determined by Southern hybridization, the transgene was not found.
Better understanding the mechanism of black ice occurrence on the road in winter is necessary to reduce the socio-economic damage it causes. In this study, intensive observations of road weather elements and surface information under the influence of synoptic high-pressure patterns (22nd December, 2020 and 29th January, and 25th February, 2021) were carried out using a mobile observation vehicle. We found that temperature and road surface temperature change is significantly influenced by observation time, altitude and structure of the road, surrounding terrain, and traffic volume, especially in tunnels and bridges. In addition, even if the spatial distribution of temperature and road surface temperature for the entire observation route is similar, there is a difference between air and road surface temperatures due to the influence of current weather conditions. The observed road temperature, air temperature and air pressure in Nongong Bridge were significantly different to other fixed road weather observation points.
The groundwater quality through livestock excreta survey based on “Act of the management and use of livestock excreta” was investigated by selecting sampling sites within 1 km of the farmland without considering hydrogeological units. However, these sites can be affected by various pollution sources such as chemical fertilizers and livestock excretions. Additionally, the effects of pollution sources on groundwater quality in the sites cannot be clearly distinguished from naturally occurring backgrounds. In this study, a method was developed to select the sampling sites for groundwater quality through livestock excreta survey in order to understand the effects of pollution sources especially livestock excreta. First, the concentrations of nitrate within the radius of 200 m, 300 m, 500 m and 750 m, respectively, from the farms regarded as pollution sources in hydrogeological units were compared in 2016-2017. All the nitrate concentrations at 200 - 500 m from the farms exceeded a background concentration, 13.3 mg/L. Those at 750 m and the background concentrations measured by the Ministry of Environment were comparable. Therefore, the appropriate radius was suggested as 500 m for livestock excretions survey. In this study, the areas within 500 m from the farms could be considered under the influence of livestock excretions, while those beyond 500 from the pollution sources as background in hydrogeological units. The developed method was validated by applying it to the sites selected based on both administrative divisions and watersheds for livestock excretion survey. The average densities for the developed method were 0.82 and 0.39 points/km2, respectively, which were considered as appropriate levels according to those of the European Environmental Agency.
