This article studies community service order in terms of its objectives, functions, and legal basis. Compared with the cases of the advanced countries where community service order has well established, this study seeks to find problems and remedies to improve the use of community service order in Korea. The recommendations are 1) a fairer and more reasonable selection process for the candidates, 2) a development of better examination system to classify the offenders, 3) imposition of appropriate conditions and regulations, 4) A stricter penalties for the condition violators, 5) the encouragement of active participation of voluntary personnel.

A mathematical model is developed for economic design of multi-stage distribution system that consists of factory, central distribution centers, local distribution centers and retailers. The retailers are supplied products from different stage suppliers according to order size. The retailers are supplied products from factory if demand amount is large, central distribution center if medium, local distribution center if small. The cost factors are transportation cost, handling cost at distribution centers and inventory holding cost at retailers. It is to determine the transportation route of each retailer, the size and number of the vehicle at factory and distribution centers, the handling amount at distribution centers. The mathematical model is represented, the solution procedure is developed.

EPC seeks to minimize variability by transferring the output variable to a related process input(controllable) variable, while SPC seeks to reduce variability by detecting and eliminating assignable causes of variation. Tn the case of product control, a very reasonable objective is to try to minimize the variance of the output deviations from the target or set point. We consider an alternative EPC model with second-order autoregressed disturbance. We compare three control systems; EPC, EPC combined system with EWMA, CUSUM and Shewhart. This paper shows through simulation that the performance of the integrated model of EPC and SPC is more preferable than that of EPC.

본 연구를 통하여 다하중 경우를 가지는 평면구조물의 위상을 도출하기 위한 최적화 프로그램을 개발하였다. 계산시간을 줄이고 실용적인 위상최적화를 수행하기 위하여 사절점 저차 유한요소를 이용하였다. 저차 유한요소를 사용하여 도출되는 위상에 나타나는 체크무늬현상을 제거하기 위해 여과절차를 도입하였다. 위상최적화를 수행하기 위하여 가등질화된 물질로 구조재를 표현하였고 물질을 재분배하기 위하여 최적정기준을 바탕으로 유도한 크기조절 알고리듬을 도입하였다. 개발된 프로그램을 이용하여 단하중 경우와 다하중 경우에 대한 평면 구조물의 위상을 도출하고 이를 비교분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 구조물의 실제적인 위상을 도출하기 위해서는 다하중 경우가 반드시 고려되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다.

Conventional analysis and design of steel structures are performed using the assumption of a either fully rigid or pinned. However, every steel connection lies in between fully rigid and pinned connection. So, It is important to consider the connection for steel structure design. In this paper Computer-based second-order elastic analysis is used to calculate one story two bay and two story three bay for steel structures with semi-rigid connection. Genetic Algorithms(GAs) and Sequential Unconstrained Minized Technique(SUMT) dynamic programming is used to the method for optimum design of steel structures. The efficiency and validity of the developed continuous and discrete optimum design algorithm was verified by applying the algorithm to optimum design examples.

본 논문에서는 수중익주위의 비선형/비정상 자유표면 유동을 다룰 수 있는 시간영역 수치해법으로 고차 스펙트럴법과 경계적분법을 조합한 고차 스펙트럴/경계적분법을 이용하였다. 이 수치해법은 자유표면 요소수를 N이라 할 때 그 산술 계산량이 NlogN에 비례하여 증가하므로 N 이 클 때는 거의 선형적으로 증가한다. 따라서, 이 수치해법은 자유표면 유통의 계산에 있어 매우 효율적인 방법이다. 적용예로서 균속전진하는 수중익에 의한 발생파형 계산결과를 Duncan<SUP>3)</SUP>의 실험결과와 비교하였고 대체로 좋은 일치를 보이고 있다. 또한, 전진하며 상하동요하는 수중익에 의한 발생파형과 양력, 후류 보오텍스 둥을 시간영역에서 시뮬레이션하여 본 방법이 수중익주위 자유표면 유동의 다양한 문제들에 적용될 수 있는 강력한 수단임을 보였다.

The Introduction of the Criminal Treatment System such as the Community Service Order, can minimize the possibility of a second conviction by Criminals. The Community Service Order gives Criminals a chance to receive various treatment services, while living in the open society. The Community Service Order System is a meaningful method in the Criminal Policy because of its several social advantages; 1) It enables the government to save the budget by isolating Criminals from the society. 2) It protects less serious offenders from learning new skills for the new crimes from old offenders in the correctional institution by being held together at one place. Many nations have adopted this Community Service Order system and it became effective in their society. It is one of the most effective systems for correcting criminals. In Korea, this system has been evaluated as a revolutional system demonstrating the good results after being introduced in the amended Criminal Law on January 1st, 1997. However, this Community Service Order system needs to be supplemented byh the following points in order to serve society as a better correctional method for the Criminals. First, we should establish the purpose and the philosophy for enforcing the Community Service Order to Criminals. Second, we should educate and train the professional manpowers, such as probation officers, to polish and enforce this system. Third, we should not only make very clear and restricted punishments for the Criminals violating the Community Service Order, but also give a consideration to them for performing it positively. Finally, we should make it into a law to perform the Community Service Order within a certain period of time after receiving the order from the court, and the probation office should develop various Community Service Order programs to give criminals more chances to participate in these programs positively. Through these opportunities, we are able to make Criminals feel like a member of Society who should obey the law and public morals, and to assist them returning back to society as normal, not Criminal, with this Community Service Order system.

본 논문에서는 횡비틀림좌굴을 고려하는 2차 소성힌지해석법을 이용하여 3차원 강뼈대구조물의 설계기법을 개발하였다. 본 해석은 구조시스템 및 개별부재의 재료적 기하학적 비선형 거동을 고려한다. 더욱이, 종래의 2차 소성힌지해석에서 횡비틀림좌굴효과에 의한 휨강도 감소효과를 고려하지 못한 문제를 해결하였다. 강뼈대구조물의 잔류응력과 휨에 의한 비선형성 및 기하학적 불완전성에 의한 점진적인 소성화효과를 고려하는 효율적인 방법을 기술하였다. 횡비틀림좌굴효과를 고려하기 위하여 비지지장 및 단면 형상으로 구성되는 침강도 감소모델을 사용하였다. 개발된 2차 소성힌지해석법을 LRFD 설계방법과 비교함으로서 검증하였다. 예제해석을 통하여 횡비틀림좌굴효과는 2차 소성힌지해석법에 고려해야 할 중요한 요소임을 알 수 있었다. 본 해석은 실제 설계에 활용할 수 있는 효율적이고 신뢰성 있는 방법이다.

본 연구는 항공사의 개별노선을 분석단위로 하여 진입순서와 시장성과와의 관계를 분석하였다. 특히 선발 진입이 시장성과에 영향력을 미치는 지의 여부를 분석하고 이러한 진입순서 효과가 여타 다른 변수의 존재 하에서는 어떻게 변화하는 가를 검정하였다. 또한 기업이 보유한 여러 가지 자원들이 항공사가 개별 노선에 선발로 진입하는데 영향력을 행사하고 있는지의 여부를 검정하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선발 진입 행위가 시장성과에 정의 방향으로 영향력을 행사하는 것으로 관찰되었다. 둘째, 선발 진입 효과가 기업이 보유한 여러 가지 자원을 통제하고 분석했을 때는 그 효과가 감소되는 결과를 보여주고 있다. 셋째, 기업활동 경험, 항공사의 명성 등이 항공사가 개별노선에 선발로 진입하는데 영향력을 행사하는 것으로 분석되었다.
