        Exhibitions are becoming a new important marketing tool in the fashion industry. Consumer’s interest in the haute couture and arts is increasing in parallel to the increase of the need of museums to attract visitors. While many fashion brands have been holding exhibitions, very few studies have investigated the effectiveness of exhibitions. This study aims to obtain practical implications which can be applied to further exhibition marketing processes. To this end, the main goals of this study are thus as follows: (1) to analyze the fashion exhibition cases by categories; and (2) to examine customer satisfaction by the fashion exhibition types and to determine how customer satisfaction affects the brand image. In order to classify the fashion exhibition types, a total of 160 cases held in the last five years in all over the world were collected and the range was set to the B2C fashion exhibition practices. For quantitative analysis of the customer recognition, the survey was distributed to total of 309 participants. Each of respondents evaluated three stimuli therefore the nine stimuli were respectively evaluated by 103 people. As a result of our analysis, nine types of fashion exhibitions were derived by two criteria, namely, (1) the main purpose of an exhibition and (2) the contents of an exhibition. Most fashion exhibitions are held with the goals of aesthetics, sociability, and remembrance. Exhibitions display various fashion products, such as apparel, shoes, bags, and jewellry, fashion photography, as well as various artistic media, such as video, drawings, and installation arts. The nine types of fashion exhibitions were used as a stimulus to quantitatively verify the effectiveness of fashion exhibitions. According to the results of the statistical analyses, customer satisfaction and brand image were significantly different in the fashion exhibition type but the exhibition type does not directly affect the brand image. This study provides a better understanding of the growing influence of factors on the fashion exhibitions and extends the limited research area by verifying the response of fashion exhibition visitors on the marketing level. Moreover, our results provide practical implications for fashion brands to establish successful exhibition marketing strategies.

        Successful use of displays in stores arouses consumers' curiosity, and induces them to purchase a product after a visit. Facade is a word meaning an external front wall of a building, and is usually the first point of visual contact for the consumers. The present study is an empirical investigation of external appearance of a clothing store, with a 2×2×2 factorial design of facade, show window, and wall surface material designed for the purpose of the study. Dependent variables were store image variables and attitude toward store. A total of 320 questionnaires from male and female consumers were used for the analysis. Facade type and material had significant main and interaction effects, while show window type had no meaningful effects overall. A facade of irregular design prompted significantly higher levels of perceived ‘elegance’, ‘uniqueness’, and ‘attractiveness’ of the store. Material itself did not have significant influence but did have significant interaction effect with facade design. The interaction effect was found in store attitude as well. In order to create a positive store attitude, a concrete material facade should have an irregular design. Companies owning fashion brands should carefully select facade type and wall surface material in the visual merchandising strategies of a store.

        To prevent safety hazards in dangerous working area, we have proposed an intelligent image analysis system. Six common patterns of safety violations of workers’ are defined and its motion detection algorithms are developed for alarm to CCTV monitoring system. Developed algorithms are implemented at 195 dangerous areas such as chemical and gas treated room. The results of violated motion detection ratio by developed system shows 94.95% of true positive cases, and 0.21% of false positive cases from all 587,645 event cases in one month implementation period. In the period, it is observed that the number of safety rule violations and the following accidents are decreased.

        In this paper, we study the calculation for the fracture area of the composite material specimens using digital image processing techniques. This study was able to calculate the area of the fracture region through the main operation step 7 on the basis of improved image. To extract the area in the original image, we have to use opening operation, close operation, the Hit-or-Miss operation and Bottom hat filter, Top hat filter, etc. In particular, to extract the area of the composite specimen discussed in this study, we have to use the combination of the operations and filters because it is non-isotropic material, or should develop a new algorithm based on it.

        -To improve the performance of the conventional periodic δ-function arrays (PDFA) based computational integral imaging (CII), This paper propose a method of slice image reconstruction with controllable spatial filtering by using the correlation of PDFA with elemental images in CII. Methods- The multiple PDFAs are generated with spatial periods corresponding to object’s depths with the elemental image array (EIA). They are used to generate a set of spatially filtered-EIAs for multiple object depths. the intensity of the EIA can be represented as Eq. Conclusions- In conclusion, a method of slice image reconstruction with controllable spatial filtering by using the correlation of PDFAs with elemental images in CII has been proposed. Since the multiple PDFAs had spatial periods correspond to object’s depths with the EIA, we could generate a set of spatially filtered-EIAs for multiple object depths. The proposed method was demonstrated for partially occluded object reconstruction experiments. Preliminary experiments reveal that our method can provide the control of depth range for spatial filtering selectively-

        This study was conducted using a self boarding questionnaire survey to investigate body image perception, dietary habits and nutrient intakes according to interest level in health of female university students in Masan area (n=302). The subjects were divided into 2 groups according to interest level in health (‘High’ group, n=101, ‘Low’ group, n=201). Body image according to BMI was significantly different regardless of interest level in health (p<0.001). The answer percentage indicated that the purpose of weight control is health, regular use of the scale, and regular exercise were significantly higher in the high group (p<0.05). Nutrient knowledge score (p<0.01) and food frequency score (p<0.001) were significantly higher in the high group (p<0.01). There were no significant differences in nutrient intake, but intake, NAR and INQ of vitamin C were significantly higher in the high group (p<0.001). Nutrition knowledge score (p<0.01), food intake frequency score (p<0.01), and INQ and NAR of vitamin C (p<0.01) were positively correlated with the interest level in health. These results will be useful as a basis for the development of effective nutrition education programs in order to increase interest level in health and apply well in real life what have learned through the correct nutrition knowledge.

        Han, Song-Hwa. 2015. “The Language usage and Sociocultural image of Korea in 1960’s Korean language textbooks for foreign learners”. The Sociolinguistic Journal of Korea 23(1). 201~238. The purpose of this study is to describe the sociocultural reflection and language usage in 1960’s Korean textbooks for Korean learners as a foreign language. 1960’s is period of starting for modern Korean language education formally. The Korean textbooks in 1960’s based on audio-lingual method and focused on drills and repetitive practices. Their conversation consisted on vocabularies and grammar which are required in everyday situation. Therefore sociocultural image of those days are shown on vocabularies and conversations explicitly or implicitly. For exploring 1960’s Korean image in textbooks, I composed the corpus and investigated the frequency of use. Many vocabularies correlated with situations of those days that differed from recent Korean language textbooks. And many vocabularies underwent a change semantically. Lastly, Korean’s perception of West and Korea, the growth of Korean cities, economic difficulties and confucian thinking were shown on conversations in 1960’s Korean textbooks.

        至今对三言小说的研究,以爱情为主题特征作品的研究占绝大多数。作者在对其间不太受关注的历史人物为素材的多数作品的研究过程中,关注到以王安石为素材的≪警世通言≫第三卷≪王安石三难苏学士≫和第四卷≪拗相公饮恨半山堂≫这两部作品,注意到两部作品对王安石的刻画有着不同的两种角度。通过对两部作品的比较,仔细地考察了作品中所刻画的王安石对比性的人物形象。 通过对小说与实际历史记录的比较,及明代小说是如何对实际历史人物进行改编,使其小说化的比较分析,提高了对明代短篇小说的创作方式及类型的理解。 以类似本稿的研究为基础,作者有待通过对三言小说中与历史人物有关作品进行的持续研究、整理,对明代短篇小说类的创作类型及改编类型,能够进一步得出更为系统的研究成果。

        A image defect detecting vision system for the automatic optical inspection of wafer has been developed. For the successful detection of various kinds of defects, the performance of two threshold selection methods are compared and the improved Otsu method is adopted so that it can handle both unimodal and bimodal distributions of the histogram equally well. An automatic defect detection software for practical use was developed with the function of detection of ROI, fast thresholding and area segmentation. Finally each defect pattern in the wafer is classified and grouped into one of user-defined defect categories and more than 14 test wafer samples are tested for the evaluation of detection and classification accuracy in the inspection system.

        본 연구는 숲의 종류별로 숲의 이미지와 만족도 및 신체적․정서적 측면의 치유지각 효과를 분석하기 위하여 실시한 것이다. 숲의 종류는 편백나무숲, 졸참나무숲, 소나무숲으로 분류하였으며 단일 임상으로 이루어진 대상지를 선정하여 평가를 진행하였다. 평가는 각 숲별로 60명의 피험자에 의해 이루어졌으며 평균연령 68.6세이다. 편백나무숲은 쾌적하고 편안하며 친밀한 이미지, 졸참나무숲은 평범하면서도 안정된 개방적인 이미지, 소나무숲은 아 름답고 쾌적하며 자연스러운 이미지로 평가되었으며 숲의 이미지구조는 정연성, 어메니티, 공간특이성, 정감성 인자로 구분된다. 숲의 만족도는 졸참나무숲이 높게 평가되었다. 편백나무숲은 정연성 인자가, 졸참나무숲은 정연성 및 공간특 이성인자가, 소나무숲은 어메니티 인자가 만족도에 영향을 미친다. 모든 숲에서 피험자들은 신체적 ․정서적 측면에서 개선이 되었다는 치유효과를 지각하고 있으며 특히 정서적 측면에서 치유지각의 효과가 높다. 신체적 치유지각은 숲 종류별로 차이가 없었으나 정서적 측면에서는 소나무숲이 가장 높았으며 다음은 졸참나무숲, 편백나무숲 순으로 숲 종 류 상이에 유의적인 차이가 있었다. 숲 만족도와 정서적 측면의 치유효과 사이에는 정적인 상관 관계가 있었다.

        본 연구는 스톡홀름 Saltsjon 해변가와 보존지역, 신도시에 영향을 주는 색채마감의 요인에 대해서 분석하였다. 사실 상 환경에 영향을 주는 색채디자인은 보존지역뿐만 아니라 신도시에도 중요한 영향을 끼친다. 칼라디자인 맵을 이용해 서 지역별로 건축물 색채의 시각적인 평가 및 선호도를 제시하였다. 이러한 시도는 해변가 및 신도시뿐만 아니라 역사적 인 보존지역에도 색채를 조절하는데 중요한 도구가 된다. 색상, 명도, 채도는 색채 측정기와 색채 팔레트를 이용해서 측정하였다. 체크 부분은 주로 건축물 외관 및 지붕으로 하였다. 시각적 평가 제안인 색채경관은 해안가 및 도시의 이미지를 만드는데 중요한 목표가 된다. 이러한 비교를 통해 색채이미지 축은 색채 전이로 인해 경향을 분석할 수 있는 좋은 방법이다. 분석 결과 도시 색채에 있어서 태양복사의 양에 따라 다양한 색채 구성표가 만들어져 많고 화려한 색채 구성이 이루 어졌다. 도시의 색에 있어서 건물 벽보다는 지붕과 관련된 변수가 도시경관에 긍정적 효과가 있었으며 현대 건물의 재료 는 빛의 산란에 의해 색의 범위가 확대되어 색채의 전이 축이 넓게 나타났다. 젊은 세대는 새로운 지역에서는 무겁고 밝은 색채계획을 함께 선호하였으며 보전지역에서는 자연스러운 색채를 선호하였다. 스톡홀롬 가치 결정 요인분석에 있어서 색채의 고유한 특성은 스톡홀롬의 도시경관의 가치에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있으며 이후 건물 개조 및 신축에 있어서 적용해야 할 것이다.

        In this dissertation, we try to find out the iconization of Shijing(詩經). In order to have better understanding of Shijing(詩經), different analysis was done in the matter of the confucian classic side. In ancient China, they had very old tradition of reading books in a specific way, which is called ‘Zuo Tu You Shu(左圖右書)’. This means that people would read books with the picture on the left side of the book, and the Chinese characters on the right side of the book. Because of this, iconography of the Shijing(詩經) varied after Late Eastern Han Dynasty period of time. The Illustration of the Shijing(詩經) can be divided into two kinds depending on the characteristics of the picture. The first kind is practical paintings of all things, which depicts flowers, tree, fish, or regular things in the daily life, and the second kind is poetry-based-Paintings, which translate poem into drawing. However, in my dissertation, I argue that the illustration of the Shijing(詩經) can be divided into three kinds, and the last one is character paintings. all three of this pictures contributed to the interpretation and dissemination of the Shijing(詩經). However, specifically character paintings mostly highlighted the confucian classic side of the Shijing(詩經). So far, illustration study of the Shijing(詩經) belittled the character paintings. This was because they had many letters, but few illustration that depicts the feature of the figure. However, if we look at the view of the letter studies, we need to pay more attention to the visual effect of the letter characters. That is because, visual aspects of letter characters can have enormous effect on the readers since they can incorporate more value beyond its own literal meaning of the letter.

        Recent large scale surveys such as Sloan Digital Sky Survey have produced homogeneous samples of multiple-image gravitationally lensed quasars with well-defined selection effects. Statistical analysis on these can yield independent constraints on cosmological parameters. Here we use the image separation statistics of lensed quasars from Sloan Digital Sky Survey Quasar Lens Search (SQLS) to derive constraints on cosmological parameters. Our analysis does not require knowledge of the magnification bias, which can only be estimated from the detailed knowledge on the quasar luminosity function at all redshifts, and includes the consideration for the bias against small image separation quasars due to selection against faint lens galaxy in the follow-up observations for confirmation. We first use the mean image separation of the lensed quasars as a function of redshift to find that cosmological models with extreme curvature are inconsistent with observed lensed quasars. We then apply the maximum likelihood test to the statistical sample of 16 lensed quasars that have both measured redshift and magnitude of lens galaxy. The likelihood incorporates the probability that the observed image separation is realized given the luminosity of the lens galaxy in the same manner as Im et al. (1997). We find that the 95% confidence range for the cosmological constant (i.e., the vacuum energy density) is 0.72 ≤  ≤ 1.0 for a flat universe. We also find that the equation of state parameter can be consistent with −1 as long as the matter density m . 0.4 (95% confidence range). We conclude that the image separation statistics incorporating the brightness of lens galaxies can provide robust constraints on the cosmological parameters.

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the differences of body compensation image on variations in the shoulder height and width of power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket. Nine samples were examined: 3 variations of the shoulder height and 3 variations of the shoulder width. The data was evaluated by 123 fashion design majors. The results were as follows; as a result of analyzing the body compensation image according to changes in the shoulder height and width of power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket, five factors were selected; the shoulder compensation factor, the bust compensation factor, the waist compensation factor, the arm compensation factor and the neck compensation factor. Among these factors, the shoulder compensation factor is the most important factor. Examining the major effect of the body compensation image based on changes in the shoulder height and width of power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket, it had an independent influence on factors about waist, neck, shoulder and arm compensation except a factor about bust compensation, had an influence on interacting effect of factors about shoulder, bust, waist, arm compensation, and it had no influence on interacting effect of a factor about neck compensation. This shows that the shoulder height has larger effect on neck compensation image than the shoulder width in power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of congruency of parent brand image with self-image, perceived risk, and product knowledge on the attitude towards extended product in fashion brand extension. A survey questionnaire was used to collect data from 170 female college students and collected data were subjected to descriptive analysis and regression analysis using SPSS Window program. The results of this study showed that the congruency of parent brand image with self-image and perceived risk had a positive effect on attitude towards extended product, whereas product knowledge had a negative effect on attitude towards extended product in fashion brand extension. Also, the congruency of parent brand image with self-image had a positive effect on the attitude towards extended product in fashion brand extension with positive moderating effect of perceived risk and negative mediating effect of product knowledge.

        PURPOSES : In this study, an image analysis method is used to evaluate the pore structure characteristics and permeability of hybrid concrete. METHODS: The binder weight of hybrid concrete is set to 400 kg/m3, 370kg/m3, and 350 kg/m3, and for each value of binder weight, the pore structure and permeability of concrete mixture is evaluated. The permeability of hybrid concrete is evaluated using a rapid chloride penetration test(RCPT). RESULTS : The concrete pore structure characteristics of hybrid concrete reveals that as the binder weight is reduced, the entrained air is reduced and the entrapped air is increased. The permeability of the hybrid concrete for all values was measured to be below 1000 C, which indicates a "Very Low" level of permeability relative to the evaluation standard of KS F 2711. Additionally, as the binder weight is decreased, there is a significant increase in the permeability of chloride ions. CONCLUSIONS : In this study, the pore structure characteristics of hybrid concrete at different binder weights shows that as the binder weight is reduced, the entrained air is reduced and the entrapped air is increased. Consequently, chloride ion penetration resistance of the hybrid concrete is diminished. As a result, it is expected that this will reduce the concrete’s durability.

        This study is to explore the relationships between sensibility images of mannequins and apparel shops. A total of 113 consumers participated in experiments with photo stimuli of 2 mannequin types (realistic and semi-abstract mannequins) and 4 brand shops of women's casual wear. In results, luxurious, chic, strong, sexy, and young images were more strongly perceived from realistic mannequins than semi-abstract mannequins whereas simple and soft images were more strongly perceived from semi-abstract mannequins than realistic mannequins. Shops using realistic mannequins indicated strong images whereas shops using semi-abstract mannequins presented soft, comfortable, and feminine images. In the correlation analysis, luxurious, chic, strong, and young images of realistic mannequins were consistent with shop images using realistic mannequins. Also, luxurious, chic, soft, comfortable, and feminine images of semi-abstract mannequins were consistent with shop images using semi-abstract mannequins. In order to clearly communicate brand concepts with consumers, mannequin that is a key element of visual merchandising in the apparel shop, should be carefully selected, considering the accordance with shop image.
