        경상분지와 경기육괴 지역에서 획득된 총 7측점의 MT 자료를 이용하여 한반도의 광역적인 1차원 심부 전기비저항 구조를 조사하였다. 경상분지에 위치한 측점들은 주변 해양에 의한 왜곡을 보정하기 위해 반복적 텐서 벗겨내기 기법을 이용하여 해양효과를 보정하였다. 총 7측점에 대한 층서 구조 일차원 역산 결과는 천부지층, 상부지각, 하부 지각 및 상부 맨틀, 연약권으로 구분되는 4층 전기비저항 모델을 제시하였다. 이 중 상부지각과 하부 지각의 경계, 즉 콘라드면은 전 측점에서 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 경상분지 지역은 깊이 약 17km, 경기육괴 지역은 약 12km부근에 콘라드면이 존재하였다. 또한 경상분지 지역 상부지각의 전기비저항은 경기육괴에 비해 5배정도 높았다. 마지막으로 연약권은 깊이 약 100km 이하에 존재하며, 200-300 ohm-m의 전기비저항을 갖는 것으로 추정되었다.

        Various acaricidal agents have been used to reduce the dust mite population. On the point of keeping people away from mite allergens, however, repelling mites from the living space of human is more effective than just killing them, because the dead bodies of mites still act as allergen. To examine the potential of Artemisia in controling house dust mites, Artemisia extract was evaluated for its repellency to Dermatophagoides farinae and D. pteronyssinus. Repellency tests were performed using filter-paper circles cut in halves. The Artemisia extract was applied on each half at concentrations of 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.8㎕/㎠. Proper repellent effects of Artemisia extract on house dust mites were observed at the concentrations of >0.4㎕/㎠. As a positive control, lavender essential oil was used at concentrations of 0, 0.0125, 0.025, 0.05 and 0.1㎕/㎠. Lavender oil showed proper repellent effects at concentrations of >0.05㎕/㎠. These results suggest that Artemisia extract has potential to control the house dust mites, and might be useful as a dust mite repellent.

        Dyed loess and charcoal fabrics are sold in market as bedding. They have a lot of functions so that people are getting to increase their expenditure for them. Thus we investigated a repellent effect of loess fabrics and charcoal fabrics against house dust mites. The evaluation of the repellent effect of dyed loess fabrics and charcoal fabrics was conducted by using Dermatophagoides farinae and D. pteronyssinus. We compared the repellent effect of dyed loess fabrics at different doses of 0.3, 1.0, 3.2, 10.0 ㎎/㎠ and dyed charcoal fabrics at different doses of 0.3, 0.6, 1.0 ㎎/㎠. Commercial loess fabrics did not have a repellent effect against house dust mites. but commercial charcoal fabrics had the repellent effect by 78% against them. In case of dyed charcoal fabrics added with charcoal powder over 0.6 ㎎/㎠, they showed the repellent effect by over 80%. These results suggest that loess fabrics and charcoal fabrics have a repellent effect of against house dust mites and they can be commercially used for the purpose.

        현행 도로설계의 기준이 되는 "도로의 구조 시설 기준에 관한 규칙 해설 및 지침"에서는 설계속도에 따라 도로 선형별 최소 설계기준을 정하고 있으며, 이 기준을 만족시키면 교통안전성 이 확보되는 것으로 규정하고 있다. 이러한 설계기준에 적용되고 있는 개별 설계요소들은 원칙적으로 차량 및 운전자 특성을 감안하여 설치기준이 정립되었으나, 설계요소간의 연관성 또는 일관성에 대한 깊이 있는 연구를 통해 제반 기준이 정립된 것은 아니다. 결과적으로, 현재의 도로설계기준이 개별 설계 요소들의 조합에 의해 결정되는 도로의 안전성, 일관성 문제를 모두 고려하지는 못하였다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기존의 설계기준에 내재된 문제점을 인지하고 해결을 위해 우선적으로 3차원 가속도를 고려한 선형 설계방안에 대한 연구를 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 더욱 안전하고 조화로운 도로건설을 유도하고자 한다.

        TiAlN films were deposited on WC-5Co substrates with different buffer layers by D.C. magnetron sputtering. The films were evaluated by microstructural observations and measuring of preferred orientation, hardness value, and adhesion force. As a process variable, various buffer layers were used such as TiAlN single layer, TiAlN/TiAl, TiAlN/TiN and TiAlN/CrN. TiAlN coating layer showed columnar structures which grew up at a right angle to the substrates. The thickness of the TiAlN coating layer was about 1.8μm, which was formed for 200 minutes at 300˚. XRD analysis showed that the preferred orientation of TiAlN layer with TiN buffer layer was (111) and (200), and the specimens of TiAlN/TiAl, TiAlN/CrN, TiAlN single layer have preferred orientation of (111), respectively. TiAlN single layer and TiAlN/TiAl showed good adhesion properties, showing an over 80N adhesion force, while TiAlN/TiN film showed approximately 13N and the TiAlN/CrN was the worst case, in which the layer was destroyed because of high internal residual stress. The value of micro vickers hardness of the TiAlN single layer, TiAlN/TiAl and TiAlN/TiN layers were 2711, 2548 and 2461 Hv, respectively.

        We amplified D1 and D3 expansion segments of the 28S ribosomal RNA from 10 Suanguina moxae populations found in Korea. The amplification of the D1-D3 expansion segments of 28S gene of all populations tested produced a single PCR product approximately 1.03kb in size, suggesting the lack of D1-D3 expansion region size polymorphism among populations. The secondary structure model of 28S expansion segments D2 and D3 for Subanguina Moxae was predicted based on free energy minimization with comparative sequence analysis and new sequence alignment was conducted based on predicted secondary structure model. The predicted model was compared with previous predicted models of plant and animal parasite nematode. This predicted secondary structure model will provide valuable information to allocate positional sequence homology and reconstruction of reliable phylogenetic trees.

        The pine sawyer beetle, Monochamus alternatus, transmits the pinewood nematode (PWN, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus), causing the pine wilt disease (PWD), which gives rise to enormously economic as well as forest damage. However, PWN has been identified as a pathogen of PWD, it is very difficult to discriminate B. xylophilus from B. mucronatus in a short time, which are genetically and morphologically very similar. Therefore, it has been necessary to detect and eliminate PWN-infected trees in the forest area for the prevention of PWD transmission. Up to date, there is no report on biomarkers such as DNA and protein for the diagnosis of B. xylophilus. In this study, we produced a B. xylophilus monoclonal antiserum (D9-F10) from BalbC mice and screened its specificity with various proteins extracts. Western blot analysis revealed that the D9-F10 is only reactive with B. xylophilus protein extract among other tested protein extracts, indicating that the D9-F10 is specific for a B. xylophilus protein. Furthermore, two-dimensional electrophoresis showed the D9-F10 detects a very highly acidic protein, pI≒3.5. These results suggest that the D9-F10 monoclonal antibody is useful for the development of a diagnostic kit for the pine wilt disease.

        This paper reports generating creative ideas based on customer needs using Kano Model and Importance-Differentiation Matrix (I-D Matrix). Nowadays, every customer demands creative ideas on product innovations in order to be satisfied her needs. However, most existing methods are limited to get creative ideas that reflect customer needs. Any creative ideas that do not fully reflect customer needs are obviously more difficult to succeed in the market than those that reflect customer needs. This paper distinguishes each quality elements the customer needs in terms of Kano Model. And it presents the effective ways of generating creative ideas by I-D Matrix in order to overcome current uppermost limits.

        The acricidal potency of some essential oils can be applied to the control of house dust mites. But it is more effective keeping the house dust mites away than killing them because they remain as allergens even after death. The most efficient repellent concentration of lavender and tea tree in 10㎕ against house dust mites (Dermatophagoides farinae and D. pteronyssinus) were experimented by direct contact bioassay method at various doses ; 2.5, 1.25, 0.625, and 0.3125% and at vairous exposure times ; 15, 30, 60, 120, and 180 minutes. The most effective dose of essential oils (lavender and tea tree) against house dust were 0.625% and the repellent effectiveness at the mowt effective dose of 0.625% were 95.6% for lavander and 96.2% for tea tree, respectively. These results suggest that lavender and tee tree can be effectively used in the control of house dust mites.

        본 연구에서는 수평하중을 받는 깊은 기초에서 나타나는 지반과 기초의 상호작용을 분석할 목적으로 전통적인 소성이론을 응용하여 개발한 단자유도의 매크로요소 모델을 제시하였다. 제시한 매크로요소 모델은 지반에 매립된 깊은 기초가 수평하중을 받을 때 지반과 기초사이에 발생하는 응력의 제 성분을 각각 모델링하고 합성함으로써 구성하였는데, 이는 기초와 지반의 상호작용을 단순 스프링으로 모델링하는 기존의 방법에 비해 상호작용에 관련한 응력을 성분별로 분리하여 제공하는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 상호작용과 관련한 응력의 제 요소를 마찰력과 측압저항으로 크게 분류하고 각 요소를 소성이론을 이용하여 모델링하였으며, 최종적으로 이들을 병렬로 조합하는 방식으로 매크로요소를 구성하였다. 제시한 매크로요소를 이용하여 점성토에 매립한 깊은 기초가 수평하중을 받는 경우를 해석한 결과 기초의 전체적인 거동과 더불어 상호작용 매크로요소를 구성하는 각 요소들로부터 상호작용 음력의 제 요소들을 분석해 냄으로써 기존 모델에 비해 개선된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

        하중전달효율은 다웰이 설치되었거나 설치되지 않은 콘크리트포장 줄눈의 구조적 성능을 나타내기 위해 사용된다. ABAQUS 소프트웨어를 사용한 줄눈 콘크리트장의 3차원 모형이 본 연구를 통하여 구축되었다. 기층과 노상이 접착되어 구성된 하부층 위에 3개의 슬래브가 놓였으며, 스프링 요소를 사용하여 인접한 슬래브를 줄눈에서 연결하였다. 콘크리트포장의 다양한 줄눈강성을 모사하기 위하여 다양한 값의 스프링 상수를 입력값으로 사용하여 그 관계를 조사하였으며, 스프링 상수가 커질수록 줄눈의 하중전달효율이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 슬래브와 기증의 다양한 탄성계수와 두께를 사용하여 슬래브의 거동과 하중전달효율에 미치는 재료물성과 기하학적 형상의 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 노상의 탄성계수는 기층의 탄성계수와 슬래브 및 기층의 두께보다 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 양 또는 영의 온도구배에서보다는 음의 온도구배에서 슬래브의 거동과 하중 전단효율이 더 민감 하게 변화하였으며, 낮은 강성의 줄눈은 슬래브의 온도구배에 더 민감한 것으로 나타났다.

        The subfamily Hoplolaiminae included economically important plant parasitic nematodes and consisted of more than 400 species, all having the diagnostic characters of a strongly annulated cuticle and a large stylet. Among the Hoplolaiminae genera, the genus Hoplolaimus species include species such as H. columbus, and H. galeatus that cause serious damage to crops and turf grass in the Southeastern United States. Traditional identification of species has been approached by interspecific variation of phenotypic traits that rely on morphological and morphometric characters. However, these taxonomic criteria are sometimes not practical because of their limited ability to discriminate species among closely related groups due to overlapping of important taxonomic characters. The exact species identification is needed to control target nematode and also quarantine. Therefore, genetic studies for development of molecular diagnostics, population biology, and disease management are required. In recent years, many molecular diagnostic methods have been used for the identification of plant parasitic nematodes. Advanced molecular techniques have been used that test traditional identification methods. In our studies, Hoplolaimus species showed that high genetic divergence in rDNA sequence is combined with low morphological diversity. Based on genetic information, we developed multiplex PCR for H. columbus, H. galeatus, and H. magnistylus and successfully amplified mixed populations. In molecular phylogeny, the subfamily Hoplolaiminae is an important out‐group of the Heteroderidae, a notorious plant parasite nematode group. Molecular phylogeny of the Hoplolaiminae will help us understand of pathways of pathogenesis. In our phylogenetic analysis using D2 and D3 expansion segments of 28S gene, the molecular data supported morphological based taxonomic schemes. To reconstruct more reliable phylogenetic analysis, correct assignment of each nucleotide within multiple sequence alignment is an important step. Sequence alignments based on secondary structure have been proposed as new alternative methods to obtain this goal. We predicted the secondary structure of D2 and D3 domain using computational predictions method such as the minimization energy method and comparative sequence analysis (co‐variation). Predicted secondary structure included 18 species with two outgroup species, Globodera rostochiensis, Rotylenchulus reniformis. Consensus secondary structure was obtained from closely related and distantly related species. Phylogenetically informative characters were distributed in the stem region (86.7%). These results support the effectiveness of stem and loop regions for phylogenetic analysis of the Hoplolaiminae.
