Agricultural and rural extension has played diverse roles for rural development according to different ages and situations. In Africa, the roles of extension are strongly requires to eradicate poverty. In this regard, the study aims at proposing some measures to strengthen the roles of extension for the Africa’s rural development. It seems that there need such policies as successful implementation of agricultural and rural development projects, formation of community’s change adoption environments, community empowerment and capacity building, in order to facilitate agricultural and rural development. For strengthening the linkage of extension to agricultural and rural development policies, the following measures will have to be adopted: i) strengthening of the linkage of extension services to agricultural and rural development projects; ii) formation of community’s change adoption climates by integrating consciousness transformation and infrastructure improvement; iii) recovery and expansion of public-side rural extension’s roles for facilitating community change by empowering the extension workers; iv) acceleration of innovation expansion through facilitation method or technique.

Because recently(July 14, 2011) fire occurred in the engine room of a moving taxi under Namsan Tunnel 1, 51 vehicles' driver and more than 250 passengers in the road tunnel were urgently evacuated with abandoned vehicles. Vehicle fires in Namsan Tunnel that day, Sufferers struggled to escape quickly difficult to escape the two-way by abandoned vehicles on the road and to fear many casualties by using vehicle fuel and combustible interior and the driver who is ignorant of vehicle accident continuous entered in the road tunnel had accessibility the site of fire department was more difficult. In this study, It is to investigate structure and basic materials, such as fire extinguish equipment and facilities for damage prevention and to analyze the problems and to plan improvement method of fire extinguish equipment, facilities for damage prevention and transportation facilities(Large traffic signs, Breaker, etc.) on the Namsan Tunnel that in the long-term plan is prepared to strengthen for accessibility of the site of fire department in case of Vehicle's fire.

This research investigates the credit management guidelines to strengthen Thai industrial sector. The research has been simulated from the findings of both qualitative and quantitative of 500 questionnaires distributed to industrial business executives in Thailand. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis categorized into SME and large enterprises, and SEM to conduct the model in consistent with the empirical data. The results show that: (1) the credit management guidelines consist of 4 factors: a) characteristics management b) financial management c) operations management and d) assets management. The business executives gave overall importance on the guidelines at a high level with an average of 3.86. (2) The development of SEM shows that the model fits with the empirical data at Chi-Square probability level = 0.084, CMIN/DF = 1.164, GFI = 0.965 and RMSEA = 0.018. (3) The characteristics management directly influences the financial management and the operation management. The financial management directly influences on the assets management. The assets management has direct influence on the operations management. The findings show that the characteristics management is the essential starting component in SEM and the financial management factor has the most influence in the assets management variable with standard regression weight of 0.990.

기존 구조물의 리모델링, 내진보강 및 용도변경에 따른 구조 보강의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 기존에는 내진보강 공법으로 전단벽 증설 또는 신설방식의 보강 공사가 주를 이루었다. 하지만, 최근에는 시공적인 측면과 전단벽 신설 시 발생하는 기초 보강을 최소화하기 위해 강재를 이용한 건식 내진보강 공법이 증가하고 있다. 신구 콘크리트 부재 연결을 위한 고전단 링앵커와, 기존 콘크리트와 신규 강재 접합용 고전단 링앵커를 개발되었다. 개발 후 학교 건축물을 비롯하여 다수의 실제 프로젝트에 적용되었으며, 구조효율성과 시공성 우수성이 검증되었다. 이 발표에서는 콘크리트용 및 강재용 고전단 링앵커의 설계 와 시공 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

This In paper In this research a experimental and analytical study were performed to investigate strengthening efficiency of a hybrid material beam developed with the goal of simultaneously increasing the flexural stiffness and strength of aging RC structures. A composite beam consisted of two materials ; aluminum, GFRP. The experimental investigation consisted of testing 3 simply supported full-scale concrete beams. As test variables, the cross-sectional type of hybrid material beam(BE-2, SH-2). Test results show that the stiffness and load capacity of all specimens strengthened with hybrid material beam increased compared with unstrengthened specimens. A hybrid material beam of BE-2 was more efficient for stiffness increase than a un non-strengthened beam of U-B. A damage by power pin install reduce flexural load-carry capacity to 7∼10%. Specimens with high reinforcement raito had larg load-carry capacity than specimens with low reinforcement ratio and had small load-carry increase ratio compare with theoretical load-carry capacity of non-strengthen.

The main objective of this study is to enhance technical and economical competitiveness on cable bridge through providing total solution for the major field issues in overseas market. In this paper, methodology and promotion strategy of the study are introduced and future research plan is also explained.

지방자치제도는 지역 간 경쟁구도를 견인하였고, 각 지역은 강력한 지역아이덴티티 구축 및 강화를 위한 차별화 전략을 필 요로 하게 되었다. 지역의 차별화란 지역고유의 역사, 자연, 산업, 생활, 문화, 가치 등의 요소를 통해 형성되는 특성화 이미 지 구축전략으로 이해할 수 있다. 이러한 맥락으로 지역의 특성화 이미지를 활용한 문화관광상품은 지역을 이해하는 연상 이미지 형성의 역할을 담당할 뿐 아니라, 관광활동 중 체득된 체험요소들을 기억하게 도와주는 회상자원이 될 수 있다는 점에 주목하였다. 이에 따라 지역 고유성을 대표하는 관광자원의 특성화 이미지 발굴 및 이를 활용한 문화관광상품 개발을 위한 연구를 진행하여, 독창적이고 지속가능한 지역아이덴티티 강화 전략의 하나로 제시하고자 한다. 연구의 공간적 범위로는 지역문화의 정체성을 핵심평가지표로 제시하고 있는 국제슬로시티의 기준을 통과하고 재지정에 성공한 전주한옥마을을 선정하였다. 선행연구 및 현장조사를 통하여 관광목적지에서 유통되는 대부분의 상품들이 그 독창 성과 차별성을 나타내지 못하는 현실을 반영하였으며, 특히 전주한옥마을의 지역아이덴티티 강화는 물론 오랜 시간 축척되 어온 도시브랜드 전략의 일관성을 담아내고자 노력하였다. 전주한옥마을의 문화적 정체성과 연결되는 대표자원을 선정하 고, 특성화 이미지 요소 발굴을 통한 디자인 전략을 도출하였으며, 이를 활용하여 실제 판매유통이 가능하도록 다양한 문화 관광상품 예시를 제안하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의와 차별성을 확인할 수 있다.

다른 응용분야에 비하여 개략적인 성능을 요구했던 해양 분야에서도 최근 들어 항만 영역에 따라 수치적으로 구체화된 성능을 요구 하고 있고, 측위 정확도뿐만 아니라 무결성, 연속성, 가용성 면에서도 보장을 요구하고 있다. 현 DGPS 기준국의 서비스를 사용하는 사용자 입 장에서, DGPS 서비스는 아직 IMO에서 요구하는 성능을 모두 만족시키기에 불충분하다. 특히, HEA 영역에서 요구하는 측위 정확도 수준은 대 부분 만족하나 무결성 측면에서는 성능을 보장할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 기존 DGPS 기준국의 감시, 보장, 공지 기능을 강화하여 무결성 측면 에서 보강하기 위한 향상된 감시 개념을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 현재 DGPS 서비스 감시 기능의 취약점을 제시하고 이에 대한 영향을 분석하였으며 이를 토대로 대책을 마련하였다. 본 연구결과는 추후 DGPS 서비스 개선을 위한 기초연구로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

This study targets the development of technologies of reclaimed noise blocking engineering to improve endurance which may unify noise-blocking construction against noise and vibration and earthquake-preventive construction during rebuilding. This paper is to find the validity of construction methodology with RC beam additional materials to apply to slab and walls.

Utilization of the fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) material has been enlarged as a substitution material to the general construction materials having certain long-term problems such as corrosion, etc. However, it could be difficult to apply the FRP material, which has a linear shape generally, to an arch or circle-shaped structure. Therefore, an attempt has been made in this study to develop a device to form a designed cross section of FRP material by pulling out with a curvature. A member of the curved FRP product was successfully produced and then strengthened intake tower by curved FRP members.
