내열성 유전자 BcHSP17.6을 Agrobacterium을 매개로 하여 알팔파 캘러스에 감염 시킴으로서, 알팔파의 형질전환을 시도하였다. 알팔파 종자로부터 캘러스 유도를 위해서 소독한 종자를 SH-3 배지 (SH 배지에 2,4-D를 3mg/l 농도로 첨가한 배지)에 치상하였으며, 28℃ 암조건에서 20일간 배양하여 샘플로 사용할 캘러스를 유도하였다.(중략)

1992년∼1996년 10월까지의 연구기간 동안 한국기업이 발행한 CB의 원주수익률은 대체로 (-)를 나타내어 한국시장 전체의 수익률이 (+)를 보인 것과는 대조를 보이며, 변동성은 한국시장 전체의 변동성보다 높게 나타났다. CB수익률도 원주수익률보다 더 낮은 (-)의 수익률을 보여서 세계 · 유럽의 주식 ·채권시장이 모두 (+)의 수익률을 보인 것과는 대조를 이루었다. CB의 변동성도 세계· 유럽시장의 변동성보다 상당히 높게 나타났다. CB의 발행수익률은 사후적으로 환율변화에 따라 원화가치가 하락하면 엄청나게 증가할 수 있으며, 반대로 원화가치가 상승하면 (-)가 될 수도 있어서 향후 한국기업들이 해외에서 차입을 하고자 할 경우에는 환율 예측이 필수적인 것으로 나타난다. 발행프리미엄과 발행기업의 재무회계적 변수들간에는 유의한 관계가 나타나지 않았다. 원주수익률간, CB수익률간 상관관계는 대체로 유의한 (+)의 상관관계를 보였으며, CB 수익률은 원주수익률과 유의한 (+) 관계를 보였고 CB 가격움직임의 약 20%를 원주의 움직임이 설명하였다. 원주수익률은 국내주식시장, 세계주식시장 순에 의해 설명되었다. CB 수익률에 대해서도 역시 국내주식시장 요인이 가장 중요한 설명력을 보였지만 그 설명력은 원주수익률에 비해 현저히 낮았고, 나머지 시장 요인들은 설명력이 없었다. 글로벌화가 진전된 산업일수록 세계산업 요인이 원주수익률에 대해 상대적으로 중요한 요인으로 나타났으며. 글로벌화가 진전되지 않은 산업의 경우에는 국내산업 요인이 중요하게 작용하였다. CB수익률에 대해서는 다소 상반되는 결과가 나타났다.

Around 1900, Yeats dreamed and put into practice the national theatre that could lead the crowds into a unified nation. And the theatre he imagined was essentially an occult one in which audience’s minds flow into each other and become one Great Mind professed in the doctrines of ‘Magic’ (1901). After the performances of Synge’s In the Shadow of the Glen (1903) and Padriac Column’s The Saxon Shillin’ (1903), Arthur Griffith attacked Yeats for not serving the nationalist’s cause. The ensuing debates around “the national art versus nationalist propaganda” infuriated Yeats, throwing down his hope for the middle and lower-middle classes. The attack and riots that lasted for a week after the performances of Synge’s Playboy of the Western World (1907), and after that the Hugh Lane controversy, deepened his anger towards them. So some poems that is included in from The Green Helmet and Other Poems (1910) and Responsibilities (1914) are full of the crowds, who pull down the high aristocratic values, laying them as “one common level.” As Yeats’s hope for the crowds vanished, his early theatre project that wanted mass mobilization into a nation changed into the unpopular theatre and an audience like a secret society. He began his work with the Irish theatre by theorizing that a popular nationalist theatre would be an occult one, but by 1915 he desired a theatre as occult precisely because it was not popular. The major difference between the two was the scale on which they operated, namely the nation versus the aristocratic drawing room.

Conversion disorder is defined as a specific and enduring sensorimotor dysfunction that contradicts known neurological or musculoskeletal pathology or physical findings. The patient with conversion symptoms unconsciously adopts these symptoms to convert their psychological stress to a physical phenomenon. Conversion disorder often involves the mimicry of organic symptoms similar to those experienced by a relative or an acquaintance. Because conversion symptoms are produced by psychological stress, specific treatment strategy and reinforcement program are needed for treatment. Treatment comprises avoiding unnecessary medical tests and removing symptoms by using graded exercises given by physical therapists. Clinical therapists must maintain a continuous and detailed follow-up to completely recover from conversion symptoms. The goal of treatment is to emphasize health rather than disease, to resolve physical symptoms, and to prevent recurrence. This study looks into the case reports of 4 patients diagnosed with conversion disorder.

외래 유전자를 이식하여 형질전환동물을 생산하는 방법은 현재 약 3가지 정도가 실제 이용되고 있다. 현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 방법으로는 DNA 미세주입법인데 생쥐와 비교하여 다른 동물에서의 형질전환효율은 상당히 낮은 것으로 나타나 형질전환가축의 생산을 위해서는 많은 비용과 시설 및 노동이 필요하여 실용성에 문제를 갖고 있다. 각 가축에 적합한 DNA 미세주입 조건을 확립시키고 형질전환동물의 생산효율을 높이는 연구가 필요하다. 가축에서 형질전환기술이 실제로 응용되고 있는 분야로는 대량생산이 어려운 의약품을 형질전환가축의 젖으로 합성 분비시키게 함으로써 생리적으로 활성이 있는 의약품의 대량생산이 가능할 것으로 예상된다. Growth Hormone이나 Growth Factor들을 이용한 성장과 관련된 형질전환가축의 기술은 예상했던 것보다 큰 성과는 없었는데 이식 유전자의 과잉발현으로 인한 부작용으로 실용화될 수 없었다. 그러므로 형질전환동물의 실용화를 위해서는 효율적인 유전자 이식방법의 개발과 이식 유전자의 발현으로 인한 부작용을 최소화하면서 좋은 표현형을 얻을 수 있도록 이식유전자의 발현을 인위적으로 조절할 수 있는 regulatory system의 개발과 가축의 경제형질에 관여하는 유전자의 식별이 필요하다.

Conversion disorder is a psychologically produced alteration or loss of physical functioning suggestive of a physical disorder. Conversion symptoms are often superimposed on organic disease and can be overlooked. Psychological techniques are central to the management include the following: avoiding confrontation with the patients; avoiding reinforcement or trivializing the symptoms; reviewing results of tests and exams and creating an expectation of recovery; educating the patient before a treatment is begun; evaluating the patient's emotional adjustment and considering it at a treatment; using caution in labeling the condition; considering referral for psychotherapy; establishing particularly a treatment plan and making a definite treatment program; adjusting patient' s environment; letting participate a family at appropriate time; developing a reinforcement program for a treatment of chronic symptoms; developing a home program for outpatients. Use behavior therapy reinforcement may be helpful with more chronic or resistant symptoms, especially when there is a history of vague or excessive somatic complaints or significant secondary gain.
