        The purpose of this study was to examine the impacts of AI-integrated MALL on Korean students’ TOEIC preparation, by comparing with AI-integrated CALL. A total of 496 freshmen students participated in this study. They were arbitrarily assigned to AI CALL (n = 190), AI MALL (n = 164), and the control (n = 132) groups. During a 2021 academic semester, the two experimental groups studied TOEIC through computers or mobile phones, integrated with AI technology. The control group was taught by a human teacher, in a traditional classroom setting. Before and after the treatment, TOEIC listening and reading tests were administered. Paired samples t-tests and one-way ANOVAs, were used to analyze collected data. Findings show that all groups significantly increased listening and reading test scores. Group comparison results show that the AI CALL group outperformed the control group for both tests. This group also outperformed the AI MALL group for the reading test. Based on this, pedagogical implications are invaluable

        There is a need for the purification of indoor air owing to a high rate of pollution in today’s world. For this, cabin air filters (CAFs) are widely used, which requires the addition of certain adsorbents to increase the volatile organic compound (VOC) removal efficiency. However, this addition causes high-pressure resistance, which may hamper commercial applications by requiring more energy and negatively affecting fresh air delivery rate. Hence, in this study, a high-performance combined CAF (CCAF) with excellent dust and chemical filtration performance and low differential pressure was prepared using granular activated carbon (GAC)/activated carbon fiber (ACF) mixed medium. The GAC/ACF mixed medium had higher air permeability than the ACF medium of the same weight, and it exhibited similar ultrafine dust filtration performance to the ACF medium without an increase in differential pressure. In addition, the GAC/ACF mixed medium showed excellent gas removal performance without increasing differential pressure by combining the VOC removal characteristics of the GAC and ACF filter media. The improved VOC removal performance of the GAC/ACF mixed medium was due to the hybrid effect of the hierarchical pore structures of the GAC and the nearly uniform pore structures of the ACF, which resulted in a slow and increased gas adsorption by the GAC and rapid gas adsorption of the ACF.

        목적 : 고령화 시대의 부정적인 노인 문제를 해결하고 성공적 노화에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 라이프스타일 중재에 대한 관심은 높아지나 라이프스타일 중재를 위한 전문가 양성 교육 모델에 대한 연구는 미흡하 다. 이에 본 연구는 국내·외 진행되고 있는 라이프스타일 중재 전문가 교육 프로그램들을 분석하여 향 후 국내 실정에 맞는 효과적인 라이프스타일 중재 전문가 양성 교육 모델을 구축하기 위한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 Arskey 와 O’Malley가 제시한 5단계의 주제범위 문헌고찰(Scoping review)의 연 구 단계에 따라 진행하였다. 문헌 검색을 통해 Lifestyle Medicine Global Alliance(LMGA)과 자매결 연을 맺은 28개의 단체들이 진행하고 있는 라이프스타일 중재 전문가 교육 프로그램 중에서 교육 목적, 대상, 방법, 과정들을 명확하게 확인할 수 있는 프로그램들만 선정하였다. 결과 : 연구 결과, 6개의 프로그램이 선정되었다. 첫째, 국가별로는 미국이 4개로 가장 많았고, 그 다음으 로 대한민국이 2개의 프로그램을 진행하고 있었다. 둘째, 교육 대상자 자격요건은 의료·보건·건강 종 사자로 제한하거나 별다른 제한 없이 관심 있는 사람이라면 누구나 이수할 수 있도록 한 경우가 각각 2 개씩 있었다. 셋째, 5개의 프로그램이 온라인 기반 비대면 교육 전달방식을 가지고 있었다. 넷째, 교육 내용은 대부분 신체활동, 식이, 정신적 건강(수면 및 스트레스 관리), 약물 관리 등에 초점을 맞추어 진 행되었다. 결론 : 본 연구는 새로운 라이프스타일 중재 전문가 교육 모델 구축을 위한 기초자료를 마련하였다. 따라 서 본 연구 결과에서 확인할 수 있었던 프로그램 교육 대상자 자격요건, 효과적인 교육 전달방식, 교육 내용 등을 향후 국내 상황을 고려하여 개발할 필요가 있다. 또한 활동 참여 및 디지털 리터러시 역량을 개발할 수 있는 내용도 추가한 다면적인 라이프스타일 중재를 위한 전문가 교육과정이 새롭게 개발될 필요가 있다고 사료된다.

        Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences provides proton irradiation service of up to 40 MeV using cyclotron. The use of such a cyclotron was approved in advance to satisfy the Nuclear Safety Act, and radiation safety was evaluated in this process. The Monte Carlo method is generally used to evaluate the shielding safety of high-energy accelerators, and MCNP 6.2 was used in the previous evaluation. In this study, in order to verify the results of previous evaluation, the calculation results of MCNP 6.2 and Particle and Heavy Ion Transport code System (PHITS) 3.24 are compared. PHITS is a general-purpose Monte Carlo particle transport simulation code that is used in many studies in the fields of accelerator technology, radiotherapy, space radiation, etc. In the previous evaluation, the effective dose by neutrons and photons generated by the collision of 40 MeV 20 μA of protons with a 10.5 mm thick beryllium target was evaluated, and in this study, this was reproduced with PHITS. As the radiation exposure evaluation for the user or pubic is evaluated based on the radiation dose and energy distribution generated around the target, the effective dose and energy distribution received by the water phantom with a radius of 1 cm on the front, side, and back of the target were calculated. T-Track, a tally of PHITS, was used to calculate effective dose, which is similar to F4 tally of MCNP 6.2 using a dose conversion factor. For the dose conversion factor, the value suggested as AP irradiation in Publication 103 was used. As a result of the calculation, the effective dose by neutrons at the front, side and back of the target was 1.42×105, 2.09×104, and 1.39×104 mSv·h−1, respectively, which was similar to 2.00×105, 1.84×104, and 2.59×104 calculated using F4 tally in MCNP. Moreover, the results of calculating the effective dose by photons using PHITS were 4.81×10, 3.10×10, and 2.66×10, respectively, and the results of calculating MCNP were 4.49×102, 6.45×10, and 9.64×10. The average energies of neutrons were 11.2, 0.69, and 0.31 MeV when calculated by PHITS, respectively, and 13.8, 7.8, and 4.6 when calculated by MCNP. Moreover, the average energies of photons were 1.98, 0.98, and 0.86 when calculated by PHITS, respectively, and 3.9, 3.2, and 2.6 when calculated by MCNP.

        The purpose of this study was to effectively purify U-contaminated soil-washing effluent using a precipitation/distillation process, reuse the purified water, and self-dispose of the generated solid. The U ions in the effluent were easily removed as sediments by neutralization, and the metal sediments and suspended soils were flocculated–precipitated by polyacrylamide (PAM). The precipitate generated through the flocculation–precipitation process was completely separated into solid–liquid phases by membrane filtration (pore size < 45 μm), and Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions remaining in the effluent were removed by distillation. Even if neutralized or distilled effluent was reused for soil washing, soil decontamination performance was maintained. PAM, an organic component of the filter cake, was successfully removed by thermal decomposition without loss of metal deposits including U. The uranium concentration of the residual solids after distillation is confirmed to be less than 1 Bq·g−1, so it is expected that the self-disposal of the residual solids is possible. Therefore, the treatment method of U-contaminated soil-washing effluent using the precipitation/distillation process presented in this study can be used to effectively treat the washing waste of U-contaminated soil and self-dispose of the generated solids.

        In order to monitor the long-term condition of structures in nuclear waste disposal system and evaluate the degree of damage, it is necessary to secure quantitative monitoring, diagnosis, and prediction technology. However, at present, only simple monitoring or deterioration evaluation of the structure is being performed. Recently, there is a trend to develop monitoring systems using artificial intelligence algorithms, such as to introduce artificial intelligence-based failure diagnosis technology in nuclear power plant facilities. An artificial intelligence algorithm was applied to distinguish the noise signal and the destructive signal collected in the field. This can minimize false alarms in the monitoring system. However, it is difficult to apply artificial intelligence to industrial sites only by learning through laboratory data. Therefore, a database of noise signals and destructive signals was constructed through laboratory data, and signals effective for quantitative soundness determination of structures were separated and learned. In addition, an adaptive artificial intelligence algorithm was developed to enable additional learning and adaptive learning using field data, and its performance was verified through experiments.

        Cerium oxide decorated on nickel hydroxide anchored on reduced graphene oxide (Ce-Ni(OH)2/rGO) composite with hexagonal structures were synthesized by facile hydrothermal method. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), highresolution transmission electron microscopy with selected area diffraction (HRTEM-SAED), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Brunauer– Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area analysis and electrochemical technology were used to characterize the composite. Due to its unique two-dimensional structures and synergistic effect among Ce2O3, Ni(OH)2 and rGO components indicated twodimensional hexagonal nano Ce-Ni(OH)2/rGO composite is promising electrode material for improved electrochemical H2O2 sensing application. From 50 to 800 μM, the H2O2 concentration was linearly proportional to the oxidation current, with a lower detection of limit of 10.5 μM (S/N = 3). The sensor has a higher sensitivity of 0.625 μA μM−1 cm− 2. In addition, the sensor demonstrated high selectivity, repeatability and stability. These findings proved the viability of the synthetic method and the potential of the composites as a H2O2 sensing option.

        선원의 상무라는 용어는 해양사고관련자인 선원에게 사고에 대한 책임을 물을 때 사용되는 용어이다. 그러나 선원의 상무에 따른 책임을 부과함에 따라 오히려 책임이 불분명해지기도 하며, 국제해상충돌예방규칙에 명백히 규정되어 있는 항법을 위반한 경우에도 선원의 상무에 따른 책임을 부과함으로써 개선이 필요한 부분이 희석되기도 한다. 해양안전 심판제도가 유사 사고의 재발을 방지하기 위 하여 이미 발생한 사고의 원인을 철저하게 분석하는 과정을 거친다는 사실을 상기할 때 유사 사고의 재발방지에 기여하지 못하는 원인 분석으로써 실행 가능한 한 선원의 상무는 배제하는 것이 적절할 것이다. 이에, 해양사고 조사심판 기관의 존재 이유와 선원의 상무에 대 한 학설을 전체적으로 살펴보고 법원 판결 및 재결서에서 주의의무 사용례를 함께 분석함으로써 관습적ㆍ불문적 항법으로 인식되고 있 는 선원의 상무에 대한 적용을 어떻게 개선할 수 있는지를 검토하였다. 그리고 해양사고 재발 방지라는 관점에서 ‘선원의 상무’를 ‘선원 의 통상적인 업무’라고 바꾸어 쓸 것을 제안하였으며, 합목적적인 적용을 위한 현대적 해석을 제시하였다.

        Green synthesis of graphene using leaf extracts as sustainable reducing and capping agents is a thrust area of research owing to its simplicity, eco-friendly nature and the ease of access to graphene. Moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam) plant is widely cultivated in India owing to its important medicinal and nutritional values. Inspired by these reports, herein we report a simple, green and economic synthesis of graphene, Moringa leaf extract employed reduced graphene oxide (MRGO) with excellent dye removal efficiencies. The MRGO is prepared by refluxing a mixture of aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide and Moringa leaf extract for 10 h. Further, we elucidated the role of synthesized MRGO in the removal of methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RB) dyes through the sonochemical method. This as-synthesized material exhibited excellent dye removal efficiencies of about 93% and 87% against MB and RB dyes, respectively. Graphene with huge surface area expedited the better adsorption of dye molecules, thus, facilitated the better removal of the latter. Therefore, the superior dye removal efficiencies of MRGO were attributed to its adsorption capacity. This cost-effective synthetic approach of MRGO nanomaterial has a great potential for the innovative applications in water purification technology and find its place in further industrialization.

        This study investigated the arsenide removal by using mesoporous CoFe2O4/ graphene oxide nanocomposites based on batch experiments optimized by artificial intelligence tools. These nanocomposites were prepared by immobilizing cobalt ferrite on graphene oxide and then characterized using various techniques, including small angle X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Artificial intelligence tools associated with response surface methodology were employed to optimize the conditions of the arsenide removal process. The results showed that back propagation neural network combined with genetic algorithm was suitable for the arsenide removal from aqueous solutions by the nanocomposites based on the minimum average values of absolute errors and the value of R2. The optimal values of the four variables (operating temperature, initial pH, initial arsenide concentration, and contact time) were found to be 25.66 °C, 7.58, 10.78 mg/L and 46.41 min, and the predicted arsenide removal percentage was 84.78%. The verification experiment showed that the arsenide removal percentage was 86.62%, which was close to the predicted value. Three evaluation methods (gradient boosted regression trees, Garson method and analysis of variance) all demonstrated that the temperature was the most important explanatory variable for the arsenide removal. In addition, the arsenide removal process can be depicted with pseudo-second-order kinetics model and Langmuir isotherm, respectively. The thermodynamics investigation disclosed that the adsorption process was of a spontaneously endothermic nature. In summary, this study showed that ANN-GA was an efficient and feasible method in determining the optimum conditions for arsenic removal by CoFe2O4/ graphene oxide nanocomposites.

        A laboratory-scale experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of supplementing commonly used effective microorganisms on the chemical properties of swine liquid manure. Effective microorganisms used in this study were Bacillus subtilis (1.3×109 colony-forming unit (CFU)/ml), Enterococcus faecium (1.9×1010 CFU/ml), Aspergillus oryzae (2.0×109 CFU/ml), Saccharomyces cerevisiae (6.4×109 CFU/ml), Rhodobacter sphaeroides (1.2×108 CFU/ml), and Streptomyces griseus (6.2×108 CFU/ml). Swine liquid manure collected and decanted from a swine farm was used in this study. Treatments included control (distilled water supplementation), Treatment 1 (T1) (mixed microbes, 109 CFU/ml), and Treatment 2 (T2) (mixed microbes, 107 CFU/ml). Microbial mix was supplemented every 3.5 days and aerated six times (15 min each) a day to facilitate compositing. Ten ml of sample was collected at 2-, 4-, 6-, and 7-week intervals for the measurement of pH, ammonia-N, volatile fatty acid (VFA), total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and total potassium. At seven weeks, samples were further collected to analyze biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD). Ammonia-N was significantly (p<0.05) decreased in T1 and T2 by 36% and 30%, respectively, compared with control (23%). VFAs including butyrate, iso-butyrate, valerate, iso-valerate, and caproate were not detected in T1 from the four-week aerated sample. The BOD and COD were significantly (p<0.05) decreased in T1 by 96% and 58%, respectively. In conclusion, ammonia-N, VFA, BOD, and COD, known as odor indicators, were decreased in T1 and T2 compared with control, suggesting that effective microorganisms are useful for compositing swine liquid manure

        공간 샘플링은 공간모델링 연구에 활용되어 샘플링 비용을 줄이면서 모델링의 효율성을 높이는 역할을 한다. 농업분야에서는 기후변화 영향을 예측하고 평가하기 위한 고해상도 공간자료 기반 모델링에 대한 연구 수요가 빠르게 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 공간 샘플링의 필요성과 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 농지 공간샘플링 연구를 통해 농업분야 기후변화연구의 공간자료 활용의 효율성을 제고하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 층화랜덤샘플링 을 기반으로 하였으며, 1 km 해상도의 농지 공간격자자료 모집단 (11,386개 격자)에 대해서 RCP 시나리오별 (RCP 4.5/8.5) 연대별 (2030/2050/2080년대) 공간샘플링을 설 계하였다. 국내 농지는 기상 및 토양 특성에 따라 계층화 되었으며, 샘플링 효율 극대화를 위해 최적 층화 및 샘플 배정 최적화를 수행하였다. 최적화는 작물수량, 온실가스 배출량, 해충 분포 확률을 포함하는 16개 목표 변수에 대해 주어진 정밀도 제한 내에서 샘플 수를 최소화하는 방향으로 진행되었다. 샘플링의 정밀도와 정확도 평가는 각각 변동계수 (CV)와 상대적 편향을 기반으로 하였다. 국내 농지 공간격자 모집단 계층화 및 샘플 배정 및 샘플 수 최적화 결과, 전체 농지는 5~21개 계층, 46~69개 샘플 수 수준에서 최적화되었다. 본 연구결과물들은 국내 농업시스템 대표 공간격자로써 널리 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 기후변화 영향예측 공간모델링 연구들에 활용되어 샘플링 비용 및 계산 시간을 줄이면서도 모델의 효율성을 높이는 데에 기여할 수 있다.

        The purpose of this study is to design an instructional model based on CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) theory for effective language learning. The study findings reveal the following three points. First, context-oriented foreign language education is possible, if we have well-edited authentic materials that match the level of the students, and implement the relevant materials as classroom activities that covered 4C (Content, Cognition, Communication, Culture) through sophisticated placement of content-language integration methods. Second, changes in evaluation methods can affect the studying style of learners. Since the process of output can only be actively utilized if the input is repeated, if we provide an desirable evaluation method so that the repetition process can focus on acquiring meaningful language information, this will help learners make more active use of the target language. Third, foreign language education could expand learners’ thinking skills. Content-language integrated learning is sufficient to help students to understand other cultures and compare/analyze the educational contents based on respect for cultural diversity. Through this all learning activities based on CLIL theory, language learners can also develop their critical thinking skills.

        최근 중국은 상표를 악의적으로 선점하고, 손해배상을 청구함으로써 금전적 이익을 얻으려는 행위가 증가하고 있다. 상표권 보호 원칙에 관해 중국은 등록주의를 채택하고 있는데, 즉 누구나 상표국에 상표를 신청할 수 있고 심사를 통과하면 「상표법」상의 법적 보호를 받을 수 있다. 상표국은 상표출원에 대한 형식심사 과정에서 신청한 상표가 타인이 선사용한 상표인지에 대한 심사를 진행하지 않고, 신청한 상표의 상표등 록 가능 여부만을 심사하기 때문에 상표신청자는 타인의 미등록 사용상표를 우선 등록할 수 있으며, 악의적으로 상표를 선점한 상표권자도 권리침해를 주장할 수 있는 것이다. 미·중 간의 지식재산권 분쟁·갈등을 해결하는 과정에서 중국 당국은 상표권자의 권리를 강화하고, 상표권 침해자의 침해행위를 중지하는 등의 행정적 조치를 지속하였으며, 이를 통해 상표권자의 침해행위 대한 구제조치가 응당 타당하다는 사회적 분위기가 형성된 것도 이와 같은 현상이 발생하는 것의 한 가지 요인으로 작용하였다. 또한, 2013년 제3차 「상표법」 개정에서 징벌적 손해배상을 도입하는 등 상표권자의 민사적 구제조치를 강화하는 입법이 지속됨에 따라 금전적 이익을 노린 악의적 상표선점을 위한 출원이 가속화되고 있다. 이에 중국 입법기관은 법률적 규제를 통해 악의적 상표출원을 원천 금지하고 이에 대한 처벌을 강화하는 제4차 개정을 통해 ‘악의적 상표출원 거절’ 조항을 도입하는 등 악의적 상표선점을 통해 민사적 구제조치를 남용하는 행위를 미연에 방지할 수 있는 법적 근거를 마련하였다. 또한 ‘신의성실의 원칙’을 적용하여 상표권자의 청구권을 제한하는 판례의 경향이 나타나고 있다. 무엇보다 디지털 전환에 따른 플랫폼 비즈니스의 활성화 로 인한 상표권 침해의 태양이 다양하게 나타나고 있기 때문에 「상표법」 외에 「반부정당경쟁법」과 「전자상거래법」을 활용하여 제한하는 방안도 적극적으로 활용되고 있다. 우리나라도 제4차 산업혁명 시대에서의 효과적인 상표 보호라는 시대적 과제 앞에 서 있는바, 중국 「상표법」상 악의적 상표권자 청구권 제한과 관련된 조항과 주요 판례를 분석 하여 우리나라 입법에의 시사점을 도출해 보았다.
