        구명정의 열전달 특성 및 해상상태에 따른 조난자의 저체온증 발생 가능성에 대한 기술적 검토는 선박의 좌초 및 침몰 사고에 대 응하기 위해 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구는 해상용 구명정(또는 구명벌)의 설계에 필요한 열전달 특성 및 단열 성능을 분석 및 평가방법에 대해 서 연구하였다. 또한, 해상 저체온증 발생 가능성을 파악하기 위한 연구로써 Thermal manikin과 인체를 대상으로 체온 저하의 예측을 판단하 기 위한 단열성능 실험 및 인체 온도 특성 해석 결과를 제시하였다. 열전달 해석은 구명 뗏목의 열전도 특성, 해수의 대류 효과 및 단열 재료 의 특성에 따른 성능 변화를 파악하도록 유한요소해석 방법을 적용하였다. 인체 시험에서 입수 시 신체 온도 변화를 파악하기 위해서 각 부 위에 열전대를 부착한 상태로 구명정에 탑승하여 온도 변화 및 열유속 변화를 계측하였다. 실험으로부터 계측한 체온 변화와 유한요소해석 모델의 체온 변화를 비교함으로써 결과의 타당성을 제시하였다. 나아가 유한요소해석을 통해 저체온증 발생 가능성을 검토하였다.

        To investigate the thermal environment over the summertime asphalt pavements, an automatic weather observation system was installed at a parking lot paved with asphalt to observe various meteorological parameters and surface temperature from July 1 to September 30, 2014. Since the number of rainy days in summer of 2014 particularly after the mid July is more than that of average data, a ratio of daily peak surface temperature above 45 ℃ was 28% which was lower than the average. The observational data about hourly average surface temperature and various heat balance factors at days where daily peak surface temperature is above 45 ℃ are as follows: An hour that had the daily maximum temperature was around 15 pm and the value was 49℃ approximately. Net shortwave radiation was the highest at 12pm as 800 W/m2 and much radiation of 500 W/m2 was absorbed at the ground between 11am and 17pm. Sensible heat that was delivered from the ground to the atmosphere was evaluated as 200 W/m2 between 10am and 19pm. underground transfer heat up to 100 W/m2 was measured as negative from 19pm to the next day 8am, which indicated the lower atmosphere was heated at night.

        Until recently, thermal power plants have used high-rank coals to generate electricity. The switched to low-rank coals, primarily because of the rising coal price and the advancement of combustion technology. Therefore the thermal power plants need more fuels aspect of quantity and they are going to build extra infrastructure to deal with the increased fuel demand in their specialized ports. This paper introduces the process of the economic analysis as a case study for Hadong T/P(Thermal Power) Port. This study also evaluates investment for mew projects in ports. We analyze the costs and benefits of the port investment project using various information. And then we conduct the economic analysis using NPV(net present value), B/C ratio and IRR grounded in a financial theory. Out result of the economic feasibility shows that the new project of constructing a third berth in Hadong T/P Port has positive economic value. Additionally, this study conducts the sensitivity analysis of the major variables like cost, benefit and discount rate.

        Now a days, frequency of abnormally high temperatures like heat wave by global warming and climate change is increasing constantly and the number of patient with heat related illness are jumping rapidly. In this study, we chose the case day for the heat wave in Busan area(Busan and Yangsan), 2013 which it was the most hottest year during 21th century. And then, we analysed the weather condition using automatic synoptic observing system(ASOS) data. Also, four indices, heat index(HI), wet bulb globe temperature(WBGT), Man-ENvironment heat EXchange model(MENEX)’s results like Physiological subjective temperature(PST), Physiological strain(PhS), were calculated to evaluate the thermal comfort and stress quantitatively. However, thermal comfort was different as the each station and thermal comfort index during same time. Busan’s thermal indices (HI: hot, WBGT: sweltering, PST: very hot, PhS: very hot) indicated relatively higher than Yansan’s (HI: very hot, WBGT: sweltering, PST: very hot, PhS: sweltering). It shows that Busan near coast is relatively more comfortable than Yangsan located in inland.

        본 연구에서는 철근콘크리트 구조의 FRP를 이용한 보강에서 낮은 내화성능을 개선하기 위한 방안을 찾기 위하여, 보강된 FRP의 외부를 내화보강하는 방법에 대한 내화실험을 실시하였다. 특히 철근콘크리트 부재의 피복에 홈을 형성하여 FRP를 매입하는 보강 즉, NSM보강을 대상으로 하였다. 실험에서의 주요 변수는 보강방법과 사용 내화재료로서, Perlite계 재료를 표면에 분사하여 보강하는 방법, Calcium silicate계 보드로 표면에 부착하는 방법, 그리고 추가로 홈내부에 Polymer mortar 또는 Calcium silicate조각을 삽입하여 보강하는 방법으로 보강한 뒤 가열로 내부의 온도변화에 따른 열전달을 관찰하였다.실험결과, Perlite계 내화뿜칠로 표면을 보강하는 경우보다 Calcium Silicate계 내화보드로 표면을 보강하는 방법이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 홈 내부의 에폭시가 유리전이온도에 도달할 때의 외부 표면온도 820℃까지 내화단열성능을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

        국내 교량 설계에서 온도 하중에 대한 현재 LSD (한계 상태 설계법)는 다양한 교량 형식에 대한 동일한 기준을 적용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유효 온도를 산정하기 위해 실제 크기의 상판이 없는 강상자형거더교 시험체를 제작하였다. 1년동안 강상자형거더교모형의 18개 지점에서 온도데이터를 측정하였다. 측정된 데이터를 바탕으로 대기 온도에 따른 교량단면내 유효 온도를 산정 하였다. 유로 코드의 유효 온도와 비교할 때 실측 유효온도의 결과는 매우 유사한 상관 관계를 보였다. 따라서, 본 데이터를 기반으로 산정 된 유효 온도는 국내 교량설계에 온도 하중에 적합한 설계 기준을 제시하기 위한 기초 자료로 사용할 수 있다.

        This study evaluates thermal movements of an existing bridge using digital image processing technologies. Digital images are acquired from smart phones. Thermal movements which extracted from bridge bearings' images are compared to the results of conventional displacement transducers. It is concluded that the image-based process for measuring thermal movements of bridges is accurate, practical and cost-effective.

        Thermal processing of (+)-catechin was carried out at 121℃ for different reaction times (1, 2, 3, 6, and 12 h). The reacted products, compounds (1) and (2), were isolated and quantified via HPLC analysis. The antioxidant properties of processed (+)-catechin and its isolated compounds for different reaction time was measured via radical scavenging assays using DPPH and ABTS+ radicals. Additionally, the anti-obesity efficacy of the thermal treated (+)-catechin was evaluated via porcine pancreatic lipase assay. The reacted (+)-catechin for 3 h had a slightly higher antioxidant capacity than that the parent (+)-catechin. Products 1 and 2, which were isolated from the reacted mixture during 3 h, showed an antioxidant capacity, and these two compounds may be responsible for the antioxidant capacity of processed (+)-catechin. Simple thermal treatment of (+)-catechin can be used to produce (+)-epicatechin (1) and protocatechuic acid (2) with enhanced antioxidant and anti-adipogenic effects.

        In this study, measured data of cable-supported bridge’s thermal expansion and contraction were analyzed. To evaluate structural behaviors by temperature variations, measured data were compared with theoretical values by correlation analysis between thermal movements and temperatures. Additionally, the cumulative displacements were analyzed. Through the analysis of the results, the evaluation methods of cable-supported bridge's thermal expansion and contraction is suggested.

        Replacement aggregate source like as electric arc furnace slag will be important more and more in the domestic construction field. Recently KS F 4715 was revised in order to utilize electric arc furnace slag as concrete aggregate. However, stability for an actual structure has not been confirmed sufficiently. Therefore, more careful attention should be paid on the quality management of slag aggregate. To evaluate the volume stability of electric arc furnace slag, a method of immersion expansion for evaluating road aggregate has been used. These conventional method needs long time, so there are many demands from industry for fast testing method. This paper is intended to evaluate whether the acceleration test method in the hydro thermal condition is proper or not, and find the correlations between the volume expansion and oxide compounds of slag aggregate. The test results indicates that the acceleration test method has sufficient possibility as a way of evaluating the safety of electric arc furnace slag, and that there is no correlations between the volume expansion of mortar bar with slag aggregate and the oxide compositions of slag aggregate, but the main cause of the pop-out phenomenon is the MgO content of slag aggregate.

        In this study, thermal environment improvements throughout public design improvement project on the urban street space were compared and evaluated. Thermo-Render 3.0, 3D-CAD based thermal environment simulation program, had been used for thermal environment improvement evaluations. Followings are the results. First, clayey blocks which have low heat transfer rate and cool island effect by trees and roof gardens brought cooling effects for buildings and surface of streets. Seconds, MRT values showed low levels because of low radiant mulching materials. Thirds, roof gardens contributed to reduce heat island effect since HIP levels were affected by decreasing heat storage effect of buildings from roof gardens. As a result, reducing heat storage effect throughout selecting and arranging proper materials which would not increase heat island potentials should be performed to improve heat island effects.

        본 연구는 다단계 온도프리스트레싱 공법으로 보강된 합성보의 하중재하 실험 및 구조해석을 통하여 온도프리스트레싱 공법의 프리스트레스 도입효과와 단면증가효과를 평가하였다. 연구결과 온도프리스트레싱을 이용한 합성보의 보강공법은 온도프리스트레싱에 의한 프리스트레스 도입 뿐 아니라 커버플레이트의 설치에 의한 단면증가로 합성보의 처짐 또한 감소시킬 수 있으므로 합성보의 효율적인 보강공법으로 적용이 가능할 것이다.

        The increase in environmental loads and energy consumptions has resulted in the need of developed new forms of energy for a sustainable use for the society. Recently, the viability of using unused energy has attracted a great deal of attention. From the view point of using unused energy, the most critical problem can be referred to as the distance between the heat source/sink and heat demand area. The water resource in the city water system was used to solve this distance problem with unused energy. The calculation method of the potential use unit was used to survey the potential of the water resource in the city water system. The amount of theoretical unused energy and energy savings in the model city were estimated using this method. It is estimated that the amounts of energy savings and CO2 reduction correspond to 131.3 GWh and 29280[t-C], respectively, per annual basis.
