방사성물질은 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있으며 이에 따른 국내 및 국제간 운반이 계속적으로 증가하고 있다. 방사성물질을 수송하기 위해서는 수송용기의 안전성이 확보되어야 한다. 방사성물질 수송용기의 안전규정에 관해서는 국내 원자력법 운반안전규정 및 IAEA 운반규정에서 규정하고 있다. 방사성물질 수송용기 중에서 사용후핵연료를 운반하는 수송용기는 본체와 충격완충제로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용후핵연료 수송용기의 충격완충제에 작용하는 충격력을 계산하는 간편한 실험식을 차원해석을 통하여 유도하였다. 해석결과는 기존의 충격면적법 및 유한요소해석과 비교를 통하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다. 본 실험식을 이용하여 수송용기의 낙하충격력을 쉽게 예측할 수 있다.

In this review article the famous 'jet equation' in a Minkowski magnetosphere around the compact objects will be fully derived for the pedagogical purposes.

In the earlier papers we analyzed the axisymmetric, nonstationary electrodynamics of the central black hole and a surrounding thin accretion disk in an active galactic nucleus. Based on those papers we analyze the axisymmetric, nonstationary force-free black hole magnetosphere and the motion of the plasma. We concentrate on deriving the totally new equations for the entropy incrrease and the angular momentum, energy extraction of the black hole.

When a bright astronomical object (source) is gravitationally lensed by a foreground mass (lens), its image appears to be located at different positions. The lens equation describes the relations between the locations of the lens, source, and images. The lens equation used for the description of the lensing behavior caused by a lens system composed of multiple masses has a form with a linear combination of the individual single lens equations. In this paper, we examine the validity of the linear nature of the multi-lens equation based on the general relativistic point of view.

본 논문은 도로의 선형이 곡선일때, 곡선상에 설치되는 곡선교를 해석함에 있어 에너지법에 기초하여 휨과 순수비틂 효과를 고려한 탄성방정식을 이용한다. 이 탄성방정식은 부정정 구조인 연속곡선박스거더의 정역학적 부정정력을 최소 일의 원리를 적용하여 구한다. 곡선박스거더에 수직단위하중과 단위토크를 작용시켜 전단력, 휨모멘트, 순수비틂모멘트, 그리고 처짐과 회전각에 대한 영향선을 구하며, 실제 하중이 작용할 때 곡선박스거더의 부재력을 구할 수 있도록 하였다.

We derive the Grad-Shafranov equation in the Macdonald-Thorne magnetosphere of the super-massive black hole in an active galactic nucleus. Our major assumption is that the plasma velocity is not only toroidal but also poloidal. As a result, we get the correction terms which are related to the poloidal motion of plasma like electrodynamic jets.

본 연구에서는 추계론적 동적시스템의 응답거동을 예측할 수 있는 반해석적 절차를 개발하였으며, 이를 이용하여 구분적선형시스템의 동적거동특성을 확률적 영역에서 분석하였다. 반 해석적 절차는 시스템의 추계론적 미분방정식에 상응하는 Fokker-Planck 방정식을 path-integral solotion을 이용하여 풂으로써 구할 수 있다. 결합확률밀도함수의 시간에 따른 전개과정을 통하여 시스템의 동적 응답거동 특성의 예측과 분석을 하고 시스템의 거동에 미치는 외부노이즈의 영향 또한 조사하였다. 반 해석적 방법은 위상면 상에서 결합확률밀도 함수를 통하여 응답거동의 예측은 물론 거동특성에 대하여 적절한 정보를 제공하는 것을 밝혔다. 혼돈거동의 특성은 외부노이즈가 존재하는 상황에서도 시스템의 응답 안에 잔재하는 것을 밝혔다.

In most of sintered metal powder compacts, the sintered density distribution is controlled to be as high and uniform as possible to ensure the required mechanical properties. In general, the density distribution in the compacts is not uniform and not easy to measure. In the present study, a method for measuring the density distribution was developed, based on the indentation force equation by which the hardness and the relative density were related. The indentation force equation, expressed as a function of strength constant, workhardening coefficient and relative density, was obtained by finite element analysis of rigid-ball indentation on sintered powder metal compacts. The present method was verified by comparing the predicted density distribution in the sintered Fe-0.5%C-2%Cu compacts with that obtained by experiments, in which the density distribution was directly measured by machining the compacts from the outer surface progressively.
