        This study compared aural and written modes of presentation for the two item types, to explore the effects of question/option presentation mode and item type on EFL learners’ listening comprehension performance and their perception. One hundred and fifteen Korean college students who were divided into three different proficiency groups participated in the study. The participants took a listening test which consisted of dialogue-completion and Q&A multiple-choice items in the aural and written modes, followed by a survey on their perceptions, and a stimulated recall interview. The results showed that the least proficient group was more critically affected by the mode than the other two groups. The least proficient group performed significantly better in the written mode than in the aural mode, while they received similar scores on the two item types. The major factors that caused the discrepancy among the groups were memory capacity in the aural mode and reading ability in the written mode. The implications and suggestions on listening test development are discussed.

        본 논문은 쇼팽의 단조 조성의 녹턴에서 사용되는 장단조혼용 기법에 관한 연구이다. 쇼팽의 단조 조성 녹턴들에서 마지막 화음의 변화는 단지 으뜸화음을 장3화음으로 바꾼 일시적인 변화라기보다는 작품 전체의 단조 조성이 점차 분해 또는 변형된 결과로 장조가 나타나는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 이러한 경우 마지막 부분은 흔히 “피카르디 3도”라고 불리는 차용화음의 한 종류를 넘어서는 보다 확대된 장단조혼용 기법이 사용된 것으로 보는 것이 정확할 것이다. 본문에서는 쇼팽의 녹턴에서 이 기법이 사용될 때 다음과 같은 특징이 나타난다는 점을 논의한다. 먼저 원조인 단조 부분 내에서 병행장조의 이명동음조나 반음계 진행 등이 나타남으로써 원조로부터의 분리 또는 변형이 일어난다. 둘째, 첫 번째 혹은 중간 부분에서 나타난 반음계적 음들은 반복 부분(reprise)에서 새로운 조성을 확립하거나 강조하는 요소로서 더욱 중요하게 취급된다. 본 연구에서는 쇼팽의 녹턴 중 네 곡을 분석하면서 이 작품들에서 앞서 언급한 두 가지 요소가 각기 어떤 고유한 방식으로 나타나는지 고찰한다.

        One of the important advantages of Thermosonics is that it can be applied to complex structures such as a turbine blade as a convenient and quick screening test method. For a reliable thermosonic test, the vibrational characteristics of the system comprising the tested structure and the clamp at ultrasonic frequency range should be identified. Therefore, this study presented the analysis results of frequency response functions and mode shapes of the turbine blade and clamp system and investigate the possibility of the reliable excitation system for the thermosonic test.

        In this study, the fracture property of the bonded structure with aluminum foam is analyzed by using the closed aluminium foam for impact absorber. DCB and TDCB specimens manufactured with the single lap joint method of mode 3 are designed by varying the thickness. The static analysis through ANSYS finite element program is carried out on the specimen model due to each thickness. Also, the static experiment is performed in order to verify the analysis result. This study aims at comparing the shear strengths of the bonded structures of DCB and TDCB made with aluminum foam and investigating the mechanical properties.

        This study is an exploratory case study of writing strategies that Korean EFL graduate students in applied linguistics employed in the semester-long process of L2 computermode research paper writing with the use of multiple resources. Data for writing processes and strategy and resource use were largely collected from a writing strategy inventory questionnaire and writing logs, which were complemented by a keystroke logging program, video recordings and retrospective recall interviews. The results of the study reveal the influence of genre features and variations across writing stages, strategies, resources, and individual writers. Planning was intermingled with researching. The participants deployed certain strategies only at a particular stage or throughout the whole writing process. The students who had higher education in English-speaking countries used fewer strategies and preferred electronic resources to print resources than those who were educated mainly in Korea. The latter also showed a tendency of employing self-regulatory strategies. Findings from the study suggest that the research paper writing process is resourceful, strategic and individually situated, and it involves complex composing behaviors accompanied by more varied strategies and resources than shown in studies of one-time reading-to-write tasks.

        CFRP hardened by carbon fiber and resin has the property of high strength and low weight. Specifically, the strong feature against the external vibration environment is shown as CFRP is designed with the structure of multi-axes. So, CFRP in place of metal has been used at the various fields. CFRP specimens for mode Ⅱ are applied with the repetitive fatigue load in this study. These specimens have the fiber layer angles of 30°, 45° and 60°. The material properties of specimens are investigated with the result of fatigue fracture due to this load. As the study result, the smallest and largest reaction forces of 500 N and 540 N are shown at the layer angle of 30° and 60° respectively among these specimens. The separation of adhesive interface at 4000 fatigue cycles is happened earliest in case of the layer angle of 60°. But the separation of adhesive interface at 11000 fatigue cycles is happened latest in case of the layer angle of 45°. Through the result of fatigue property, it is thought that the basis data can be applied to evaluate the safety at CFRP structure applied with fatigue.

        International Joint Venture (IJV) is one of the most popular market entry mode in emerging markets. The instability and stability of IJV have also been receiving ongoing attention in the literature (e.g. Deitz et al. 2010; Kogut 1989; Rhoades & Lush 1997; Sim & Ali 2000). IJV instability and stability are often treated as opposite to one another in the literature, and assumed the factors that account for instability has an inverse impacts on stability. However, conceptually and empirically they are not exactly two contrasting phenomena. This study adopts the perspectives of Superficial Friendship theory (Yan 2010) to differentiate the determinants of IJV instability and stability and empirically compares their determinants. The results indicate that the factors that account for instability do not have inverse impacts on stability. The empirical results not only contribute to an understanding of the different drivers of IJV instability and stability but also have important implications for international business managers in both parents and IJVs with regard to keeping an IJV profitable and successful.

        As CFRP as the single material has various material properties, it has been used at many fields. CFRP is utilized at the mechanical structure on the basis of the brittle fracture property and the performance of vibration damping. CFRP composed of multiple axes has the high natural frequency. It is shown to have more reinforced material property with the fiber design. This paper investigates the fatigue property of the bonded specimen for mode 1 at the laminate angles of 30°, 45° and 60°. According to the fiber design, each specimen bonded with the laminate angle is shown to have different fatigue property repectively. As the laminate angle is increased, the reaction force tends to be increased. In this paper, the laminate angle through the fiber design of CFRP is applied and the fatigue property at mode 1 is investigated. Through the study result, The safety of fatigue fracture is also checked at applying to the composite structure.

        본 사례는 기술융합의 구조를 네트워크 기법을 이용하여 분석한 것이다. 좀 더 구체적으로 설명하면, 제품군을 매개로 투입기술들 간의 융합구조를 네트워크 분석 기법을 적용하여 분석하였으며, 제품군과 투입기술을 동시에 고려하기 위해서 2-mode 네트워크 분 석을 적용하였다. 제품군은 개발목표에서 파악하여 표준산업분류에 따라 정의하고 기술은 개발에 투입된 기술들로 파악하여 국가과학기술표준분류에 따라 정의하였다. 본 연구의 대 상은 중소기술정보진흥원의 융복합기술개발 사업에 신청한 401개 과제이다. 분석결과, IT분야는 특정기술이 다양한 제품군에 연결되는 구조이지만 BT분야에서는 특 정 제품군을 중심으로 일부 기술은 공통적으로 적용되지만 상당수의 기술이 각기 제품군에 투입되고 있는 형태이다. 따라서 융합분야 마다 기술융합의 구조가 다른 것을 파악할 수 있 었다. 투입기술의 연결중심성과 제품군을 매개로한 투입기술의 연결 중심성도 약시 차이가 있다. IT분야에서는 임베디드S/W가 2가지 경우에 모두 연결중심성이 가장 높았다. BT에서 발효공학과 기능성화장품기술이 투입기술의 연결중심성은 가장 높았지만 기능성화장품기술 만 제품군을 매개로 투입기술의 연결중심성은 가장 높다. 즉, 특정제품군에 투입빈도가 높은 기술이다. 본 사례는 실제 기술개발과제에서 기술융합을 정의하고 그 구조를 분석하였다는 것이다. 본 사례의 의미는 융합기술개발과제를 관리하고 기획하는 데 유용한 분석 툴을 제시했다는 것이다.

        As a part of light weight, the adhesive has been applied to joint the mechanical structure. The porous material is used with aluminum foam in case of the structure bonded with only adhesive. In order to confirm the durability, it is necessary to investigate the fracture toughness at the bonded joint. So, the fracture property at joint interface of aluminum foam different from the non-porous material becomes especially important. In this study, the tapered double cantilever beams(TDCB) with the type of mode Ⅲ are manufactured with aluminum foam. The fracture toughness at the joint of the structure bonded with only a adhesive can be obtained. The static analyses are carried out and verified the results by the experiment. As the results of static analyses, the reaction forces ranged from 0.30 to 0.41 kN at all specimens are shown when the forced displacements are proceeded as much as 7 to 9 mm. As the results of analyses and experiments are compared with each other, there is a little bit of difference between these results. Through the result of this study, the mechanical properties at TDCB specimens with the type of mode Ⅲ can be understood.

        본 연구는 비고전 감쇠를 가지는 구조물, 모드가 매우 인접되어 있는 구조물의 모드를 분리하기 위하여 제안된 최적화 상태 공간 모드분리법의 검증을 목적으로 하고 있다. 실구조물에 대한 모드분리의 가능성 및 적용성을 위하여 40층 규모의 건물에 동조질 량감쇠기가 설치된 시스템을 대상으로 하였으며 그로부터 계측된 응답에 모드분리법을 적용하였다. 모드분리 결과를 보면, 해당 모드 에서의 에너지 집중을 목적함수로 설정한 경우에는 이웃한 인접모드의 고유진동수 부근에서 파워스펙트럼 값을 인위적으로 작게하여 왜곡하는 경향이 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 왜곡현상을 방지하기 위해 도입된 구속조건과 이를 이용한 목적함수의 설 정을 통해서 인접한 모드가 효과적으로 분리 가능함을 확인 할 수 있었다.

        This study aims at analyzing the property of the structural body bonded with alumimum foam by the utilization of the aluminum foam of closed type used generally with impact absorbent. The structural bodies bonded with the aluminum foam of DCB and TDCB are designed in this study, and then the fatigue analysis and experiment are carried out. At fatigue analysis, the maximum load happens at all of each specimen models when the fatigue life of 0 to 50 cycle is proceeded. And from the point of time that the maximum load happens, the load at the bonded surface is seen to be decreased in cases of analysis and experiment. As the specimen thickness is increased, the maximum load happened at specimen is increased. It is confirmed that the result of fatigue analysis becomes similar to that of fatigue experiment for verification. It is thought that the study data on various specimen thicknesses can be secured simply without the extra fatigue experimental procedure. By using this study result, the mechanical properties of the structural bodies bonded with the alumimum foams of DCB and TDCB with mode Ⅲ type can be thought to be analyzed effectively.

        Because aluminum foam is porous material, the frature property is different from that of non-porous material. This aluminum foam can be used with the joint bonded with adhesive in order to utilize the light weight to the maximum. So, the study of fracture property on bonded surface can be important. In this study, the analyses on the specimens with two kinds of configuration as DCB(Double Cantilever Beams) and TDCB(Tapered Double Cantilever Beams) aluminum foams of mode Ⅲ type bonded with adhesive are carried out and compared with each other. And the fracture properties the adhesive surfaces of the structure with bonded aluminum foams are studied as the static experiments on these verifications are done. DCB and TDCB specimens used in this study have the variable of thickness(t) as 35mm, 45mm and 55mm. As the result of this study, the range of reaction forces are 0.3 to 0.8 kN and 0.5 to 1.2 kN at DCB and TDCB specimens respectively. The results of the static experiments can also be confirmed with these similar results. These study results can be obtained by only a simulation without the special experimental procedures. The mechanical properties of the bonded structures composed of DCB and TDCB aluminum foams with mode Ⅲ type can be thought to be analyzed effectively.

        Nowadays, the study of CFRP reinforced with carbon fiber is focused on improving the the mechanical property. The study on the fracture data of CFRP are not properly made out than that of the general mechanical joint. In this study, the fracture property of mode 1 at the same condition of tensile experiment is investigated by applying the layer angle to laminated CFRP with the thickness of 15 mm. When the reaction forces until dropping out the bonded surface are compared with the cases of the layer angles of 0°, 45° and 60°, the reaction force is shown to be most and the elapsed time until dropping out the bonded surface is longest at that of 45°. The deformation energy is also shown to have the highest value by dropping out the adhesive interface. As the basis of the analysis result of this study, the most safety with fracture resistance is shown in the case of 45°. the bonded structure applying the appropriate layer angle is thought to have the structural safety.

        CFRP has the high strength and low weight. But it tends to be frail if it is applied with the mechanical bonding method using weld, rivet or bolt. So, the chemical bonding method using the special adhesive has been utilized. By applying the bonding method with the adhesive, this paper investigates the mechanical property of DCB specimen bonded with the type of mode 2 through the simulation analysis. Four kinds of specimen thicknesses are 25mm, 35mm, 45mm and 55mm in this study. The mechanical behaviors of specimens due to the forced displacements are investigated as the distributions of equivalent stresses. The reaction force becomes higher as the specimen thickness is increased. The result of this study about the fracture property of adhesive joint is thought to be contributed to the safe design of structure with CFRP.

In this study, the static facture analysis was carried out with DCB specimen bonded with adhesive as the loading type of mode Ⅲ. The thicknesses of specimens are 35, 45 and 55 mm. When the forced displacements 5 mm applied on the specimen proceed at specimen thicknesses of 35, 45 and 55 mm, the maximum stresses is shown to be happened at the range from 3.3 MPa to 3.6 MPa. The maximum equivalent stress happened at the specimen thickness of 35mm becomes highest among four kinds of specimens. The static experiment is carried on in order to verify these analyses representatively. As the experimental data become similar with the simulation data, it is thought that these analysis data can be applied at analyzing them into the adhesive joint of real porous material.

        Polarbear is a ground-based experiment located in the Atacama desert of northern Chile. The experiment is designed to measure the Cosmic Microwave Background B-mode polarization at several arcminute resolution. The CMB B-mode polarization on degree angular scales is a unique signature of primordial gravitational waves from cosmic in ation and B-mode signal on sub-degree scales is induced by the gravitational lensing from large-scale structure. Science observations began in early 2012 with an array of 1,274 polarization sensitive antenna-couple Transition Edge Sensor (TES) bolometers at 150 GHz. We published the first CMB-only measurement of the B-mode polarization on sub-degree scales induced by gravitational lensing in December 2013 followed by the first measurement of the B-mode power spectrum on those scales in March 2014. In this proceedings, we review the physics of CMB B-modes and then describe the Polarbear experiment, observations, and recent results.

        본 연구에서는 0.5 wt% 에멀젼형 절삭유 수용액에 평막형 분리막을 침지시키고 대칭 및 비대칭 사인파형 투과유속 연속운전(SFCO) 방식으로 실험하였다. 사용한 정밀여과막은 유효 막면적이 0.02 m2이고 공칭 세공크기가 0.15 μm이었다. 탁도 기준으로 에멀젼형 절삭유의 99% 이상이 제거되었으며 산기량이 증가할수록 TMP가 낮게 상승하였다. 비대칭형 SFCO 운전방식은 투과유속이 낮은 10∼15 L/m2·h 영역에서 대칭형 SFCO 운전방식보다 다소 유리하였다. 하지만, 투과유속이 높은 25∼30 L/m2·h에서는 대칭형 SFCO 운전이 매우 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.
