        This study described a way of developing a resin for deviceizing quantum dots. Furthermore, the following conclusions were obtained by developing light curable syrup and UV curable syrup. First, The viscosity of the mixed resin decreased as the content of the diluent increased, and the value was bewteen 4,310 and 1,473cps. Second, haze was measured by using NDH 5000, and all of the synthesized syrups were obtained a haze value of 1% or less with a transmittance of 95% or more in the visible light region. Third, the viscosity of the mixed resin decreased as the temperature increased, and at this point, the viscosity showed a value of 4,219 to 1,128cps. Lastly, As a result of measuring the viscosity of the resin before and after mixing the quantum dot nanoparticles, it appears to be little change.

        In this study, a mixed resin containing Bis-GMA was developed to produce a light-emitting sign using quantum dots. As a result of measuring the viscosity, color coordinates change, and luminance of the mixed resin, the following conclusions were obtained. The viscosity of the mixed resin decreased as the content of the diluent increased, and viscosity values ​​ranged from 3,627 to 1,349cps showed as a result. The viscosity of the mixed resin decreased as the temperature increased, and the viscosity showed a value of 5,156 to 1,132cps. For the optical properties of InP/GaP/ZnSe/ZnS quantum dots, the absolute quantum efficiency was 91% at 522nm and 90% at 618nm when the gallium was 0.01%. The luminance of the light-emitting sign using the resin mixed with quantum dots was showed 142.6cd/m2 in white and 104.2cd/m2 in the red region.

        3D프린팅 기술은 산업적 응용을 넘어서 기계 설비 및 각종 장비의 부품생산뿐만 아니라 의료, 식품, 패션에 이르기까지 많은 시제품들의 개발 및 연구가 진행되고 있다. 3D 프린팅 기반 기술의 적용사례를 볼 때 정밀도와 제작 속도 측면에서도 다른 산업에 충분이 활용될 수 있는 기술의 개발이 보고되고 있으나, 아직까지는 시제품 위주로 이용되고 있으며, 향후 3D 프린팅 기술은 4차산업혁명과 관련하여 광범위한 분야에서 응용될 수 있는 완성품이나 부품제작에 이용될 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 탄소나노 재료중 대표적으로 많이 이용되는 환원그래핀 [rGO(reduced graphene oxide)]과 전도성 고분자중 생체 친화적인 특성을 갖는 폴리피롤[Ppy(Polypyrrole)]의 복합체를 생분해성 고분자인 폴리카프로락톤 [PCL(polycaprolactone)]과 혼합하여 3D 프린팅용 전도성 레진을 개발하고자 하였다. 결과로, 폴리피롤과 환원그래핀 각각 5 wt%, 0.75 wt% 에서 최적의 전기적 특성을 나타내었으며, 환원그래핀의 농도에 따른 표면분석에서도 이와 부합하는 결과를 확인 할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 제조된 전도성 레진은 3D 프린팅 뿐만 아니라, 다른 산업분야의 전자재료에도 적용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

        Composite resins are developed as restorative materials to improve esthetics and mechanical properties. To improve the physical properties of resin material, resin filler have to be added. However, no imaging method is adopted for resin filler distribution. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a optical imaging technique to delineate microscopic structures within biological tissue. The OCT application to dental composites resin and its filler is not described yet. So, this new and advanced optical method is needed for clinical application for evaluation of dental composite resin. To analyze the spatial distribution of dental composite resin and to evaluate the resin restoration in cavity, frequency domain optical coherence tomography (FD-OCT) was used for their analysis. Resin restored tooth was prepared. For morphological observation, serially sectioned teeth, conventional X-ray taking and micro computed-tomography (CT) images were compared with OCT images. The experiment has done to evaluate the success of the resin restoration using 3 dimensional structure OCT image. In this research, OCT is evaluated as a new technique to image resin restoration. The evaluation of resin restored tooth was performed by OCT. Inappropriate restoration such as marginal adaptation, large porosities, internal integrity and poor contour could be detected. Resin filler also could be checked by OCT. The distribution, number, regularity and size of resin filler can be differentiated from several commercial products. Considering the characteristics of the OCT, it can be used to evaluate the defects of resin restoration, resin filler distribution, and internal integrity between resin material and tooth structure. The OCT can be considered to be a new and advanced method for the evaluation of resin restorations.

        Pipe line for the water supply and/or drainage is one of the most important life lines which is usually suffered from the damage due to exterior load induced deformation and due to the lack of support resistance provided by the surrounding soil. GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Plastic) pipes are generally thinner, lighter, but stronger than the existing concrete or steel pipes, and it is excellent in stiffness/strength per unit weight. In this study, we present the result of field test for buried RPMP (Reinforced Polymer Mortar Pipe) and RTRP (Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Pipe) pipes with 2,400mm diameter. The vertical and horizontal ring deflections are measured for 387 days. The ring deflection of RPMP and RTRP measured by the field test is compared with the ring deflection limitation (5%) according to ASTM D 2412.

        To increase pot life in the formulation mixed with bisphenol F epoxy resin, anhydride-based curing agent, and imidazole-based curing accelerator powders as a paste material for high-speed RFID chip bonding, size variation of the imidazole-based powders and a coating method of the powders were adopted in this study. In experiment with regard to the size variation, the pot life was not outstandingly increased. Through the idea using the coating method, however, the pot life was increased up to 4.25 times in comparison with the addition of initial imidazole-based powders. Consequently, successive bonding of RFID chip could be performed with very short time of 5sec using the suggested formulation having improved pot life.

        Novolac is widely used as the primary solid component of most photoresists in semiconductor and microelectronic devices. In this study, novolac resins were prepared by condensation of 35% formaldehyde with phenolic compounds such as m-/p-cresol, 2,5-dimethylphenol and bisphenol A in the presence of oxalic acid as catalyst. The average molecular weight (Mw) of these novolac resins has been varied on the changing of mixing ratio of m-/p-cresol/2,5-dimethylphenol/bisphenol A or formaldehyde/phenolic compound. Also, thermal properties of novolac were observed by TGA.

        Dispersion stabilities and photocatalytic activities of rutile powders with unique nano-structure synthesized by homogeneous precipitation process at low temperature(HPPLT) have been investigated in the acrylic resin containing fluorostyrene in the range of mole. Isoelectric point of in the acrylic resin placed in the neutral region whereas that of in the water placed in the acidic region, indicating that zeta potential and agglomeration of powder is strongly dependent on the pH and the type of solvent. To prepare an adhesion, an acrylic resin containing fluorostyrene was synthesized by a radical polymerization. The adhesion of coating layer was increased with increasing fluorostyrene's contents without changing the dispersion stabilities and degrading photocatalytic properties

        In this study, tensile properties of carbon fiber reinforced polymers(CFRP) with and without epoxy resin were compared by direct tension test. Although the strength contribution of resin is generally neglected because it is relatively infinitesimal and hard to be evaluated on-site application, resin enables CFRP itself to have higher strength and stiffness by arranging the layout of carbon fiber bundle, by decreasing the stressed effective length and by stress redistribution between fibers.
