The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of information transferring activity on listening comprehension and the affective domains of high school students. A total of 140 students participated in this study, and they were divided into two groups: The control group taught to follow traditional listening instruction, and the experimental group taught to transfer information in listening text to visual materials. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference in understanding aural texts between the two groups, indicating the positive effects of the use of information transfer technique on listening comprehension. In addition, short-answer and multiple choice techniques produced different results, suggesting a significant test method effect on test results. Lastly, the participants provided generally positive responses to the usefulness of information transfer technique.

This paper explores whether the English reading texts of College Scholastic Ability Tests are factually accurate. The tests which were administered over the fifteen-year period since 1996 are investigated with regard to whether the infonnation in the texts which deal with historical events or figures and real life situations is factually accurate. The results show that there are 12 test items which are not factually accurate. Some of the items which use the original texts intact or have a minor modification to them contain information which is not true when their original texts are cross checked with various sources of materials. Others have inaccurate information resulted from the revisions of the original texts such as modifying them in order to lower the difficulty of the items. In conclusion, it is suggested that every effort should be made to confirm whether the information in the reading texts is factually accurate or to sustain the information as it is as much as possible if it is accurate.

본 연구에서는 정서능력과 뇌반구 기능이 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이 주된 목적이었다. 남자 중학생 1,050명을 연구의 대상으로 하여 정서능력척도검사(Trait Meta-Mood Scale), 뇌 정보처리 특성 검사(Brain Preference Indicator Test), 그리고 공격성과 비행은 한국판 아동자기보고 검사(Korea Youth Self Report-Child Behavior Check List)를 사용하여 조사 연구하였다 연구 대상은 초기청소년기에 해당하는 남녀 중학생 1,479명을 표집하였다. 연구결과 문제행동을 많이 가진 집단은 보통 아동들에 비해 정서능력 요인중 정서의 명확성이 유의미하게 낮았으며, 자신에 대한 정서 주의는 많이 기울이는 것으로 나타났다. 뇌정보 처리에서는 주로 우반구 우세적 정보처리를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다 뇌정보처리 특성과 정서 명확성 그리고 정서주의가 문제행동의 하위 요인인 공격성향과 비행성향 모두 유의미하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 성별과 정서개선, 성별과 정서명료의 상호작용효과가 나타나, 이 두 요인이 공격성과 비행에 영향을 주는 효과가 남자와 여자학생 간에 다르게 나타났다.

본 연구는 AWS 관측강우정보를 이용하여 실시간 유량예측을 수행할 경우 적용가능한 예측선행시간 및 정확도를 평가하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 남한강 상류유역을 대상유역으로 선정하였으며 2006∼2009 홍수기간에 대해 SURF 모형을 구축하였다. 관측유량 자료동화 수행 유무에 따른 모의유량은 관측유량을 잘 모의하며 유효성지수를 이용하여 자료동화 효과를 분석한 결과에서 충주댐 32.08%, 달천 51.53%, 횡성 39.70%, 여주 18.23%가 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 첨두유량 발생시간 이전 가상의 현재시점까지의 AWS 관측강우정보를 이용하여 유량예측 적용성을 평가한 결과 허용오차 20% 범위 내에서 첨두유량은 충주 11시간, 달천 2시간, 횡성 3시간, 여주 5시간, 유출용적은 충주 13시간, 달천 2시간, 횡성 4시간, 여주 9시간 이내에서 예측이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유역의 지체효과로 인해 관측강우만을 이용하여 적정 예측시간에 대해서 실시간 첨두유량 예측이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
