본 논문은 브라이언 프리엘의 작품세계에서 드러나거나 또는 숨겨져 있는 예이츠의 영향의 다층적 성격을 『케스 맥과이어의 사랑』, 『번역』, 『귀족들』의 텍스트 분석을 통해 규명한다. 예이츠와 프리엘의 관계는 이들의 문학이 시대적, 개인적 차이에도 불구하고 결국 당대의 첨예한 사회적 모순에 불가분하게 맞물려있는 자기모순적이고 분열된 자아의 정체성을 재구성하려는 작가적 시도라는 공통점에서 출발하고 또 그 공통점으로 귀결된다.

본 연구는 한국 일본 및 대만 , 대학생들을 대상으로 미국, 일본, 한국, 대만, 중국 등 4개국 드라마 시청정도 및 각국별 드라마 속성에 대한 평가 결과를 살펴본 것이다. 본 논문의 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국을 포함해 일본, 대만 응답자들은 일차적으로 자국의 드라마를 시청하는 정도가 높게 나타났다. 특히 한국 및 일본 응답자들은 다른 국적의 드라마에 비해 자국 드라마 시청 정도가 매우 높게 나타난 반면 대만 응답자들은 자국 드라마와 함께 일본 드라마 시청 정도가 높은 편으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국, 일본 및 대만 대학생들의 각국별 드라마 시청정도 결정 요인을 드라마 속성별 평가를 기준으로 살펴본 결과 이들 3개국 응답자들이 4개국 드라마를 평가하는 기준은 재미라는 요인을 중심으로 대체로 유사하게 나타났다. 셋째, 한국 응답자들은 미국이나 일본 드라마에 대해 친근감을 갖고 있을 때 해당 드라마 시청 정도가 증가하는 것으로 나타난 반면 일본 응답자들이 한국 드라마에 대해 친근감을 갖게 될 때에는 반대로 한국 드라마 시청 정도가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자국 내 장르별 방송 프로그램 선호도는 미국이나 일본 프로그램에 대해서는 영향을 끼치지 못한 반면 한국이나 대만 드라마 시청 정도에는 부분적으로 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 인터랙티브 드라마가 지닌 상호작용성과 극적 서사경험의 충돌이라는 난제의 해결방안을 인터랙티 브 드라마의 스토리생성 모델이 지닌 한계에서 찾고, 이를 게임 스토리텔링 이론의 적용을 통해 보완해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 마이클 마티아스의 인터랙티브 드라마 <Façde>의 스토리생성 모델을 스토리 환경과 스토리 구조의 차원에서 살펴본다. 다음으로 헨리 젠킨스의 ‘환경적 스토리텔링 이론’의 적용을 통해 스토리 환경의 수정 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이어 마크 르블랑의 ‘게임 역동성 이론’을 통해 극적 긴장감 창출을 위한 불확실성과 필연성 요소를 제시하고 인터랙티브 드라마 스토리생성 모델의 보완 및 개선방안을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the process to manufacture costume design of main female characters of TV historical drama〈Lee San〉and suggest the costume, which is developed with contemporary taste. As study methods, the literature study using books and theses concerning costume, fine art, culture and history were used for theoretical background and the empirical study method manufacturing actual costume on the basis of literature and relic were used for dress manufacture. The study results were as follows. The costume was decided by researching historical investigation material on the basis of synopsis, grasping director's basic intention, setting design direction, preparing design map of each character, selecting style, detail, fabric and color, manufacturing sample and performing camera test. The design concept of〈Lee San〉was Modern & Chic & Clean, short & fitted chogori, chima with wide & abundant cocoon silhouette, clean & bright colors and 100% silk fabric. For the design discrimination of royal semi-formal costume, color was used to symbolize character and pattern was used to symbolize social status. In addition, detail change was adopted depending on the body shape of actor and there was almost no design discrimination in silhouette and fabric. Petticoat of the west, modernization of transitional pattern and change of detail were adopted as design elements to add contemporary taste.

The purpose of this study was to develop royal costume design with contemporary taste depending on the character of hero, Lee San, and time flow of TV historical drama〈Lee San〉and research design discrimination and creative expression. As study methods, the literature study using books and theses concerning costume, fine art, culture and history were used for theoretical background and the empirical study method manufacturing actual costume on the basis of literature and relic were used for dress manufacture. The design concept of costume was modern & chic & clean. The costume was designed through straight silhouette, clean & bright colors excluding prime colors, style transformed to permanent straight pleats on the basis of chulik, 100% silk material focusing on high quality and pattern & decoration of the age of Three Kingdoms. As results, the designs of princess' official rob, day dress and chulik, and emperor's official robe, chulik, military dress and chun-dam-bok were developed. The design discrimination depending on social status change. In the period of princess, black, white, silver and blue were used but in the period of emperor, red, gold and black were used. It was expressed through dragon pattern and extended length used in cloth. The design discrimination depending on character change was visualized through color. Although it is not consistent with historical investigation, contemporary fashion design elements were added to royal costume through color contrast of black & white, permanent straight pleats, velcore, wristlet, extended length and layered-look.

In Irish peasant dramas, the political movement for the emancipation of the farmers tended to idealize the rural world, which was made a symbol of Ireland and the new nation. In many of these plays Rutherford Mayne showed his interest in rural Ireland. His concern for agrarian matters was not only an intellectual or artistic one. He articulated his professional experiences with the inhabitants of rural Ireland and the redistribution of the land in his plays. The Troth is an historical play. It tries to evoke the mood of need and misery prevailing in the years of Famine. Several allusions give its setting a definite place in Irish history. The murder just seems to be a passionate act of revenge, disconnected from any effective political movement. The violence in Red Turf springs from a different source: the main character is placed in such a humiliating situation that he loses his patience at the climax of the conflict. In each of Rutherford Mayne’s plays the passionate reaction of the main character springs from circumstances which lie outside his own person and which he believes to be unable to cope with. The different motivations of the violent deeds are reflected in the structures of the two dramas. In the exposition of Rutherford Mayne's plays a situation is lined out which is not dramatic itself: The farmers are about to submit to a menace beyond their power; the cruelty of the landlord in one play and the ruthlessness of acquisitive neighbor in the other. In both plays it is the figure of a neighbor who brings the latent conflict to the surface. Passion and violence create a feeling of suffering which borders on tragedy.

본고는 바다와 관련한 각종 「海語」를 중심으로 바다의 원형이미지, 色彩美感의 바다, 靜中動의 바다, 佛敎와 바다 등의 소절로 나누어 극중에서 어떤 심미기제의 이미지로 표현되었나를 소략하게 천착하였다. 전통적인 山水詩에서 구현된 바 있는 다양한 심미의식을 海語 속에 재생산하여 희곡언어의 話語로 접목시켜 표현의 심도와 감정전달의 감도를 높이는데 일정한 기여를 한 것으로 보인다. 중국 고전희곡에 나타난 바다이미지는 자연과 인간이 공존하는 공간이미지와 인간이 자연을 의지하고 숭배하는 외경심이 적극적으로 반영된 심미적인 이미지의 결합적인 색채를 보이고 있다. 그리고 바다의 모성애적 포용성과 구원의 이미지, 생존과 파괴가 반복되는 생멸의 이미지가 강하게 반영되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 중국 고전희곡 속에는 바다라는 문자가 직접 들어간 어휘를 문장 중에 사용하여 표현의 방편을 삼은 사례가 많은데, 비유어 또는 대상어로서의 기능을 하며 심미적인 효과와 상징성을 창출하는 경우도 있음을 발견할 수 있다. 또한 작품 전체의 내용 및 주제와 바다가 연결되어 바다가 내용의 핵심 서사공간으로 기능하도록 설계된 작품이 많은 편은 아니지만 그 가운데에서 바다에 대한 선험적 인상과 의식범주를 넘어 매우 감각적이고 충격적인 영상을 전달하고자하는 작가의 고심의 흔적을 충분히 읽을 수 있다. 그리고 바다의 형상적 이미지만 취해 표현보조수단으로 사용하여 바다에 대한 통상적인 인식범주에 공감대를 형성하게 하는 경우도 있고, 바다에 대한 작가의 체험적 바탕이 없이 강이나 호수 정도로 인식하는 협의의 개념에 그친 경우도 있으나 이는 중국문화의 대륙지향의 지배적인 문화흐름에 영향을 받은 환경적인 요인으로 보인다.

In the language class combined with "creative drama", one of the approaches in educational theatre, the stories told by a teacher are organically developed into an original drama with several drama techniques. Even though there are some research studies on using creative drama in the ESL context, there are few in the EFL situation. Therefore, this study presents the result of a study investigating how creative drama affects young language learners" English learning in a Korean primary school. An English drama class, at after-school program in Seoul, combined with creative drama had been observed once a week for a semester. Seven first graders in the class were presented with 6 different stories, which contain certain phonemes each and dramatized the stories in a creative way. They were assessed through pre-and post- tests and surveys in terms of their linguistic improvements and affective changes and analyzed quantitatively. In addition, participants were individually analyzed according to their characteristics in linguistic and affective aspects by using field notes from classroom observation and interviews. The results show that participants made progress in linguistic aspects including phonics and vocabulary skills and that their affective factors including language anxiety level had shown a positive development throughout the semester. Moreover, each participant showed particular characteristics respectively in terms of linguistic and affective perspectives.

洪深은 창작 때 먼저 “원래의 소재를 정밀히 조사하고 분석하여, 완전하게 이해하지 못하고 인식하지 못한 것은 감히 취하지 않았고”, “그에게 익숙하지 못한 생활에 대해서는 결코 아무렇게나 쓰려고 하지 않았다.”고 하였다. 이는 분명 전형적인 현실주의 창작 방법이다. 이런 점에서 洪深은 정직한 태도로, 서술하고자 하는 사실에 “근거가 없는 것은 하나도 없고, 내력이 없는 것은 하나도 없도록 한 것”이 그의 창작 태도의 기본이었던 것이다. 《農村三部曲》은 五四 이후 중국 현대연극 중에서 농민을 주인공으로 하고 농민의 고난과 반봉건 투쟁을 소재로 한 작품 중에서는 그 출현이 빨라 ‘先聲’의 역사적 의미를 가진다. 그런가 하면 좌익연극 초기에 대중화 사조의 영향을 크게 받은 결과, ‘좌익 의식’이 농민들을 주인공으로 한 작품에 전적으로 표현되고 강조되어 당시 ‘左翼演劇’의 대표성을 가진 작품으로도 큰 의미를 가진다. 陳瘦竹은 말하기를, “《農村三部曲》은 洪深이 처음으로 비교적 전면적으로 강남 농촌을 묘사한 작품으로, 오사 이래 현대 희극 중에서는 처음으로 비교적 전반적인 농민의 고난과 투쟁을 반영한 작품이다.”라고 하면서 “만약 《三部曲》을 이전의 〈趙閻王〉과 서로 비교해 볼 때, 그의 反帝 反封建 사상이 더욱 철저해졌고, 그의 현실주의 예술도 훨씬 발전되었음을 아주 뚜렷하게 볼 수 있다.”고 하였다. 이러한 작품의 역사적 가치와 의미는 곧 洪深이 시대와 사회에 충실한 “인생을 위한” 연극이 될 수 있기를 추구한 演劇觀과 접목이 되어, 현실주의 노선을 잘 표현한 작품으로 평가될 수 있다. 그러나 본 〈五奎橋〉를 창작할 당시에는 연극의 교육적 기능에 더욱 중점을 두고 당시 좌익문학의 시대적 요구에 모두 충실하고자 하여, 계급투쟁 이론에 부합된 논리를 전개하지 않을 수 없었고, 反封建 사상을 강조하기 위해서는 농민들을 불가피하게 진보와 혁명의 완벽한 계급집단으로 설정하게 됨으로써, 예술성을 제고시킬 수 있는 ‘技巧’는 다소 소홀하였던 것으로 보인다. 따라서 인물의 개성적 성격과 무대의 감동적 예술성은 크게 부각되지 못하고, 정치적 논리에 따른 선악만이 두드러지게 강조되어, 작품이 하나의 예술작품이라고 생각되기보다는 시대정신에 따른 단순한 정치적 ‘도구’로 활용된 작품이라는 인상을 지울 수 없게 되었다.

본 연구는 최근 방영되었던 TV 드라마 ‘SKY 캐슬’의 극중 등장인물의 성격유형을 시각적으로 강조할 수 있는 의상색채를 통해 살펴보고 그 연관성과 상징성을 도출하고자 한다. 연구 목적은, 첫째, MBTI 방식 관점에서 드라마의 극중 역할에 따른 등장인물의 캐릭터를 성격유형에 따라 분류하여 드라마 의상 색채의 상징성을 정의한다. 둘째, ‘SKY 캐슬’ 드라마의 시놉시스에 따른 배역 캐릭터를 MBTI 방식의 성격유형으로 드라마 의상색채가 가지는 상징성을 이해한다. 셋째, ‘SKY 캐슬’ 드라마 등장인물의 성격유형에 따른 드라마 의상의 색채 상징성 특성을 도출한다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 드라마 ‘SKY 캐슬’의 스토리 이해를 위한 등장인물 한서진, 이수임, 노승혜, 진진희, 김주영의 성격유형은 MBTI 방식으로 분류가 가능하였으며, 드라마 의상에 사용된 색채의 의미와 상징성을 유형화 할 수 있었다. 둘째, MBTI 방식으로 분류된 등장인물의 성격유형은 INTJ, ISFJ, INFP, ENFP, ENTJ/INTJ으로 분류되었으며 의상색채의 관점에서 그 상징성을 도출 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 등장인물 한서진, 이수임, 노승혜, 진진희, 김주영의 성격유형 INTJ, ISFJ, INFP, ENFP, ENTJ/INTJ의 관점에서 의상색채 검정, 하양, 빨강, 노랑, 초록, 파랑의 상징성을 결과로 도출하였다.
