본 논문은 멘델바움의 생애사 분석방법을 통한 장마당 세대인 기독 탈북청년의 독일정착을 분석함으로써 이주 동기와 적응 과정과 신앙여정을 전반적으로 살펴보는 데 의의가 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서 첫째, “기독 탈북청년의 삶의 영역은 어떠한가?” 둘째, “기독 탈북청년의 삶의 전환점은 무엇이며 이를 가능하게 한 개인적·사 회적·국가적 조건들은 무엇인가?” 셋째, “기독 탈북청년의 독특한 적응 방법은 무엇인가?”라는 연구문제를 설정하였다. 연구참여자 A의 삶의 영역은 「북한에서의 행복한 삶」, 「이방인의 마음을 경험한 한국」, 「유학과정에서 다시 만난 하나님」, 「독일정착을 위한 노력」, 「결혼을 통한 새로운 시작」으로 나눌 수 있다. 삶의 전환점은 「가족과 함께한 탈북」, 「외국인 교환학생들과의 만남」, 「크리스천들의 도움」, 「뜻밖의 결혼」으로 나타났다. 삶의 적응은 「모든 상황을 긍정적으로 생각하기」, 「노력하면 꿈을 이룰 수 있다는 믿음」, 「관계를 중시하는 삶」, 「다문화 사회에 대한 열정적인 호기심」으로 분류되었다. 참여자 A의 신앙여정은 롤러코스터와 같았지만 결국은 믿음을 회복하고 독일에서 신실한 교인 으로 살아가고 있다. 끝으로 위의 연구결과들을 바탕으로 탈북청년들의 해외 이주 및 적응과 신앙여정에 관하여 제언하였다.

The two sibling species of fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster and D. simulans (Diptera: Drosophilidae), have long been used as the key model organisms in ecological and evolutionary research. While numerous studies have investigated the thermal responses of these two species, no study has yet systematically compared their response to dietary macronutrient balance. To fill this knowledge gap, we compared how various life-history traits expressed during larval development would response to an array of dietary ratio of protein to carbohydrate (P:C ratio) in these two sibling species. Largely consistent with previous studies, D. melanogaster took longer to complete their larval development and were much larger at adult emergence than D. simulans. For both species, an increase in dietary P:C ratio resulted in improved larval survivorship and faster development. However, the two species showed qualitatively different response to dietary P:C ratio when body mass at adult eclosion was concerned. The body mass of D. melanogaster peaked at an optimal P:C ratio of 1:4, but decreased as the P:C ratio either increased or decreased from this optimum. In marked contrast, the body mass of D. simulans was insensitive to dietary P:C ratio.

The biggest jewel beetle in Korea, Chrysochroa coreana, has been nominated as the Natural Monument No. 496 and also classified as Category I of Endangered Species by the Red Data Book. Due to the invisible feature of a saproxylic larval hood inside the host tree for years, the whole life history was hitherto been unknown to the academic world. In order to clarify the period of larval-hood and record images of the process of the final stage of emergence, we obtained sample eggs from two mated couples of adults that emerged from a dead tree of Celtis sinensis on Wando Island, which is well-known as the habitat of C. coreana. Larvae were hatched on four pieces of timber (Celtis aurantiaca) in July 2018 and kept in a growth chamber under the conditions of 25°C, 65% humidity, and in a 12-hour light/dark cycle. The development of larvae was monitored via the non-destructive C/T method every month. Six adults were emerged between February and March 2024. As a result, we obtained the fact that the larval period of C. coreana is minimum 66 months (5.5 years) under lab conditions.

본 연구의 목적은 날로 심각해지는 세대갈등이 개인과 사회발전의 저 해 요인으로 작용함에 따라 세대통합 제고를 위한 세대통합프로그램 개 발의 기초자료 제공에 있다. 노년 세대와 청소년 세대의 세대갈등에 주 목하여, 청소년과 노인을 대상으로 10년 이상 관련기관의 유경험자인 사 회복지 전공 교수 3명과 사회복지시설 종사자 3명을 대상으로 전문가 FGI를 실시하였다. 연구결과 5개의 상위 개념 ‘세대갈등과 통합’, ‘세대 통합 공감’,‘나의 세대통합 이야기’, ‘세대통합활동의 무대화’, ‘세대통합 활동 효과’와 12개의 하위 개념이 도출되어, 구술생애사를 기반으로 참 여자의 활동 결과물 전시와 공연으로 이어지는 구체적인 프로그램 방향 이 설정되었다. 구술생애사 기반 자료는 익숙한 일상사가 활동의 주요 소재가 됨으로써 생산자인 동시에 소비자가 되는 경험을 통해 프로그램 에 몰입할 수 있는 요인이 제공됨에 따라 참여자들의 상호 이해 증진으 로 세대통합 기여의 함의를 발견할 수 있었다.

본 논문은 선행논문이 거의 없는 이순신의 정읍현감 시절: 그 행적(行 蹟)과 그 함의를 분석하고자 한 것이다. 주로 북방변방 수비장교로 떠돌 던 그가 유성룡의 천거에 힘입어 전라도 정읍현감에 부임하여 그의 준비 된 능숙한 기량과 역량으로 선정을 베풀었고 현감 재직시 파격적인(7계 급) 승진으로 세인의 이목을 집중시켰다. 그의 정읍현감 시절은 ①험난했 던 변방수비장교의 안정회복기, ②현감으로서 선정과 탁월한 업무능력 발휘기, ③현감에서 전라좌수사로의 파격승진기라는 큰 의미를 함축하고 있다. 특히 풍전등화의 국가위기인 임진왜란이 발발하기 직전 전라좌수 사로 승진되어 전란에 대비한 것은 참으로 다행스런 일이었다. 그는 정 의와 책임감으로 일관된 공직관을 가진 철저히 준비된 능력과 장수의 덕 을 지닌 군인이자, 목민관이자, 인격자였다. 문무겸전한 구국영웅으로 최 후 순간까지 조국에 헌신한 그는 오늘날에도 만인에게 희망·용기·비전을 주며 한국인의 가슴 속에 살아 숨 쉬고 있다.

Purpose: This study to provide the basic data necessary for developing support policies and intervention programs through an in-depth and integrated exploration of the experiences in the of recovery and social adaptation through therapeutic community of male homeless alcohol dependents. Methods: Data were collected from two participants through an in-depth interviews and were analyzed the life history research suggested by Mandelbaum (1973). This analysis was conducted the perspectives of the life domain, turning point, and adaptation, which are three structured analysis frameworks, beyond the continuity of chronological life history. Results: The results were the dimensions of life that led to alcoholism, turning point where life changed, and adaptation to live for self-realization with new life values while maintaining sobriety. Its content includes the adaptation process. Conclusion: Follow-up studies and activities for an integrated support policy and intervention program should be conducted by reflecting on the problems and intervention strategies raised above.

본 연구는 체육교사로서 회의감의 근원적 문제를 찾는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이준호 체육교사를 연구 참여자로 선정하고 생애사 연구방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과, 1) ‘스테레오타입과 문화’, 2) ‘훈육의 변화’, 3) ‘혼란과 자책’, 4) ‘참교사가 아닌 보통교사’의 내용이 도출되었다. 그 결과, 이준호 교사를 괴롭혀온 회의감은 ‘변화의 아이러니’로 설명될 수 있었으며, 그것은 ‘비동시성의 동시성’이라는 근원적 배경에서 비롯된 것임을 확인시켜주었다. 결국, 학교 내 존재하는 ‘비동시성의 동시성’의 모순으로 인해 이준호 교사의 감정적 소진은 필연적 귀결이었으며 그것은 한편으로 그가 이 시대의 평범한 체 육교사임을 보여주고 한국사회 평범한 체육교사들의 삶과 고민을 이해하는데 도움을 주었다고 판단된다.

본 연구는 우리나라에 서식하는 쌀미꾸리(Lefua costata)의 산란기 특징 및 초기발달과정을 밝히고자 2018년 1월부터 12월까지 강원도 강릉시 옥계면 주수천 일대에서 수행되었다. 산란기는 생식소성숙도 변화와 당년생 치어 출현, 난경의 분포 등을 고려하여 5월부터 8월로 추정되었고, 다회 산란형이었다. 성비는 암컷 1,117개체, 수컷 879개체가 채집되어 1 : 0.79였다. 산란기 동안 확인된 난경은 0.24~0.93 ㎜로 성숙란과 미성숙란이 함께 확인되었다. 성숙란의 크기는 0.71±0.02 ㎜, 포란수는 평균 1,786±818 (n=31)개였다. 난 발달과정을 관찰한 결과 수정란은 점착성을 띤 회색의 분리침성난으로 난경은 0.76±0.03 ㎜였다. 25℃에서 수정 후 34시간(50%) 후에 부화하였으며, 부화직후 전기자 어 크기는 전장 2.7±0.11 ㎜였다. 부화 후 4일에는 전장 4.5±0.16 ㎜로 난황이 모두 흡수되어 후기자어로 이행하였다. 부화 후 20일에는 전장 11.5±0.67 ㎜로 모든 지느러미 기조가 정수가 되어 치어기로 이행하였다. 부화 후 100일에는 전장 49.8±2.60 ㎜로 외형과 체측무늬는 성어와 비교적 유사하였다.

통일선교를 준비하는 우리들에게 생애사적 증언에 기초한 북한의 정치·사회·경제·문화는 물론, 복음 환경과 같은 상황적 이해가 매우 중요하다. 졸저의 생애사 주인공 강철수(가명)는 북한이탈주민으로서 현재 남한에서 기독교 복음사역을 하고 있다. 이 연구는 강철수가 복음을 수용하고 북한선교 사역자가 되기까지의 생애사를 로젠탈 (Ronsenthal)생애사 연구방법으로 분석했다. 특히 강철수가 복음을 접하게 된 계기, 수차례의 탈북, 체포 및 수감생활 등 한국에 입국하기 전까지 생사를 넘나들던 시기, 그리고 한국 입국과 그 이후 신학대학원에서의 공부와 북한선교사역의 시작 등 현재까지의 그의 생애사를 분석했다. 분석결과 중국에서 복음을 전해 준 두 분의 영적아버지와 한국에서 북한선교의 비전을 심어 준 영적어머니와의 만남이 가장 중요한 요인으로 드러났다. 강철수의 신실한 믿음은 준비 된 인적자원 (human resources)과의 만남이라고 할 수 있는데, 이를 통해 우리는 통일선교 시대를 맞이하여 사람을 준비하는 일의 중요성을 새롭게 인식할 수 있는 것이다.

Temperatures experienced during larval development can exert profound effects on life-history traits expressed later during the adult stage in insects. In this study, we explored how larval rearing temperature (18, 23, and 28℃) would affect adult lifespan and reproductive performance in Drosophila melanogaster Meigen (Diptera: Drosophilidae). Larval developmental period was shortened with increasing rearing temperature. Larvae reared at colder temperatures reached the adult stage at a larger size than those reared at higher temperatures, thus conforming to the temperature-size rule. More importantly, we found strong evidence for significant effects of larval rearing temperature on both adult lifespan and early-life egg production rate. Lifespan increased progressively as the larval rearing temperature decreased from 28 to 18℃. In contrast, egg production rate was lower for flies raised at 18℃ compared to those at 23 and 28℃. These results highlight the importance of thermal environments experienced during the development in shaping life-history plasticity in insects.

Diet and temperature are the two most critical environmental factors affecting life-history traits in insects, but the combined effects of these factors have been rarely investigated. In this study, various life-history traits were recorded from adult and larval Drosophila melanogaster fed on one of eight synthetic diets differing in protein:carbohydrate ratio (P:C=1:16, 1:8, 1:4, 1:2, 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, or 8:1) under one of six ambient temperatures (13, 18, 23, 28, 31, or 33oC). The patterns of adult and larval life-history traits expressed across 48 diet-by-temperature combinations were visualized using thin-plate spline technique and the presence of any significant linear, quadratic, and correlational effects of diet and temperature on trait expressions was analyzed using a second-order polynomial multiple regression. Life-history traits exhibited qualitatively different responses to variations in both diet and temperature, with the maximal expression of each trait being achieved at a completely divergent region of the diet-temperature fitness landscape. In adult females, for example, lifespan was maximized at P:C 1:16 under 13oC, but fecundity was maximized at P:C 4:1 under 28oC. These results provide empirical support for the emerging notion that environmental factors, such as diet and temperature, can mediate life-history trade-offs in insects.
