        The paper presents the experimental investigation of RC beams retrofitted with Textile Reinforced Mortar (TRM), featuring enhanced bond capacity. Anchoring systems, including an extension of retrofitting length and the use of chemical anchors, are newly employed to improve the structural performance of the RC beam retrofitted with TRM. For the experimental investigation, a total of seven shear-critical RC beams, with and without stirrups, were designed and constructed. The structural behaviors of specimens retrofitted with the proposed TRM methods were compared to those of non-retrofitted specimens or specimens strengthened with conventional TRM methods. Crack pattern, force-displacement relationship, and absorbed energy were evaluated for each specimen. The experimental results indicate a significant improvement in the shear capacity of the RC beam with the proposed retrofitting method. Therefore, it is concluded that the application of an extended retrofitting length and chemical anchors to the TRM retrofitting method can effectively enhance the bond capacity of TRM, thereby improving the shear performance of RC beams.

        본 연구에서는 H-Beam 부재에 TRM(Total Reinforced Member)공법의 적용을 통한 부재의 구조성능개선에 대하여 분석하였다. TRM공법은 가교의 성능개선을 위해 적용되는 여러 공법 중 프리스트레스 도입을 통해서 H-Beam 부재의 구조성능을 개선하는 공법이다. 우선 본 연구에서는 해석적인 시뮬레이션을 통해서 TRM공법의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. 1차적으로 수치 해석을 통해서 프리스트레스 도입을 위한 선행하중을 결정하고, 순수 H-Beam 부재와 L형 강재가 용접된 부재 그리고 TRM공법이 적용된 3가지의 부재에 대한 구조성능 변화를 해석을 통해서 확인하였다. 그리고 해석적인 결과의 검증 및 공법의 현장적용 가능성을 평가하기 위하여 순수 H-Beam 부재와 TRM공법이 적용된 2가지의 부재에 대한 3점 굽힘 시험을 수행하였다. 실험을 통하여 TRM공법이 적용된 부재에서 순수 H-Beam 부재대비 하부 플랜지의 발생응력 및 최대처짐이 각각 20.60%, 16.87% 감소 하는 결과를 확인하였다.

        The TRM method applied in this study is a method aiming at long span and low girder hight of the temporary bridge. When the preload is introduced to the girder member and the preload is removed after by welding the stiffener, a prestress is introduced through the stiffener to increase the load capacity of the member. Therefore, in this study, the structural performance improvement through the application of the TRM method was verified experimentally by the bending tests of the specimens with and without the TRM method.

        Numerical analysis was performed to evaluate for reinforcing performance of RC beams in flexure strengthened with Textile Reinforced Mortar (TRM) in this study. New bond strength model for TRM based on the model proposed by Teng et al. was suggested to predict the flexural behavior of RC beams and effective stress in accordance with debonding of TRM. And reduce factor of 0.729 was suggested by investigation of results on the bending test of RC beams strengthened with TRM. Reliability of proposed bond strength model was verified through the comparisons between collected test results and predicted results about the ultimate load of RC beams occurred by debonding of TRM. The ratios of predicted results on the total experimental results, the average and coefficient of variation were 1.00 and 0.094, respectively. Also, nonlinear analysis method proposed by Cho et al. was used to predict the displacement at the cross-section of mid-span for RC beams in flexure strengthened with TRM. At the three state of the RC beams such as occurrence of initial flexural crack in tensile concrete, yield of tensile rebar, and ultimate in accordance with debonding of TRM. Displacements of beams were calculated at the three state and load-displacement curves by predicted results were compared to the collected test results.

        Flexural capacity of a Textile Reinforced Mortar(TRM) was investigated by an experimental study. The test program was accomplished on reinforced concrete(RC) slabs consisted of concrete(average compressive strength of 22.23 MPa) and rebar(strength class of SD400). RC slab had 450 mm and 150 mm in size and 2,600 mm in clear span. Strengthening was accomplished by applying carbon-fiber mesh in layers of mortar. Control slab(unstrengthened) and six slabs strengthened with TRM were fabricated to confirm the reinforcing performance in this study. Test variables considered amount of reinforcement and use of anchorage. As a results, it was validated that the flexural capacity of slabs strengthened with TRM increased from 159.9% to 285.2% according to the amount of TRM compared with unstrengthened slab. Experimental results indicated that there are increase in ductility as well as load carrying and deformation capacities when using multiple layers of textile.

        It is very important for the competitiveness and sustainable management of enterprises that the rapid changes in the managerial environments quickly and accurately are responded. For example, the large-scale investment accompanied by bad alternatives in accordance with misunderstanding of the managerial environments yields the huge cost and effort to modify and improve. In firm management, the quality of products and the productivity are influenced by changes of the endogenous factors yielded in manufacturing process and the exogenous factors as market, etc. These changes include not only changes in 4M (man, machine, material, method) but also those in the market, competitors, and technologies in the process of commodification, i.e., first, such disturbances make dispersion of the process big and odd. By Shewhart chart it can be checked that the process monitored is control-in or out. Business administration executes activities for input stabilization by monitoring changes in 4Ms, comparing with the standards, and taking measures for any abnormality. Second, TRM (technology road map) is to prospect product deployment and technological trend by predicting technologies in the competitive environment as the market, and to suggest the future directions of business. So, TRM must be modified and improved according to DR (design review) stages and changes in mass-production like input material change. Therefore, a role of TRM in input stabilization for reducing cost and man-hour is important. This study purposed to suggest that the environment changes are classified into endogenous factors and exogenous factors in production process, and then, quality and productivity should be stabilized efficiently through connection between TRM and input stabilization, and to prove that it is more effective for the display industry to connect TRM with input stabilization rather than to use TRM separately.
