This study explores a possibility to expend the scope of Traditional Korean-style ** ** House, or Hanok through including North Korea's Modem Korean-style building. As Korean traditional architecture is gaining more attention, we should think over how contemporary Hanok should be and establish the concept of Hanok for future generations to come. In order to do that, the traditional Hanok design techniques should be understood. Based on this, the appropriate Hanok Design and construction techniques for contemporary buildings could be found out. This study, therefore, aims at finding basic data of design techniques which can be applied to modern Hanok in South Korea and provi%Bng clues for the future Hanok design through studying Korean-style modern buildings in North Korea.

The roof is consisted of the framework as the constructable role on the upper part of roof board, the insulation and air layer as well as additional roof board should be installed to make easy the roof construction and attach the vapor permeability water proofed paper. Accordingly, Additional rafter, Diaphragm board and Panel can be used as the alternatives. and this reports the possibility of workability, modularity applied in the field. The results of this study are expected to improve the efficiency of the waterproofing of roofs, insulation, maintenance, etc and so on contribute to the pervasiveness of the hanok.

21세기는 문화가 경쟁하는 민족개성의 시대로 나아가고 있다. 본 연구는 한옥의 부흥과 ‘현대한옥’ 실현을 위한 연구의 한 방법으로 북한의 현대한옥에 연구를 통해 한옥의 범위를 확장하고 현대한옥의 하나의 범위로 그 가능성을 모색하기 위한 연구이다. 이제 건축에서도 분명 새로운 한옥의 시대가 도래하였고 이 시대의 한옥이 어떠해야 하는지 생각해 봐야 하고 앞으로 우리의 후손에게 남겨줄 지금의 한옥을 정립하여야 한다. 그러기 위해서는 과거 우리의 한옥이 어떠했는지 알아야 함이 먼저 선행되어야 한다. 이를 바탕으로 한옥에 적합한 기법을 찾아내고 지금 우리가 사는 이 시대 이 장소에서 새롭게 적응시킬 수 있는 설계와 시공에 대한 연구가 필요하다 . 이러한 바탕에서 본 연구는 북한의 대형공공건물에 전통설계기법을 적용한 방법을 통해서 이 시대 대한민국에서도 실현 가능한 현대한옥의 기초 자료를 제공하고 북한에서 그간 연구하고 진행하고 있는 북한의 현대한옥을 조사 연구함으로 우리 현대 한옥의 나아갈 방향에 대한 단서를 제공한다.

지방화 시대를 맞아 전통문화에 대한 재평가가 이루어지고 있으며 복원, 전승노력 등이 활발해 지면서 전통한옥의 자원화를 통한문화관광에 대한 관심이 고조되어지고 있다. 따라서 전통한옥마을에 대한 관심이 점차 증대 할 것으로보인다. 전남은 한옥관련 시책은 추진하고 있으나 관광자원화를 위한 문화콘텐츠 발굴 및 자원화 개발전략 수립 등이미흡한 상황이다. 본 연구는 전통한옥과 한옥마을이라는 문화자원을 활용한 활성화 방안을 중심으로 연구하고자 한다. 한옥마을 관광자원화활성화방안은 관련 문헌연구, 현지조사, 2차 자료 분석, 해외선진사례연구의 연구방법을 통해 운영 실태와 시사점을 도출하였다. 전통한옥마을의 운영 실태와 시사점을 도출해 관광자원화를 위한 활성화 과제를 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째,한옥마을 특성에 맞는 핵심소재 발굴이다. 둘째, 관광수요자 중심의 체험프로그램 개발이다. 셋째, 한옥마을 관리운영을위한 인력과 조직의 운영관리 체계화이다. 넷째, 다양한 정책지원 요건 구비이다. 다섯째, 홍보와 마케팅 강화이다.여섯째, 한옥마을 운영 표준화 매뉴얼 작성이다.

본 연구는 미래사회에 주인이 될 현재 청소년을 대상으로 전통주거 ‘한옥’ 교육에 기여하고자, 청소년을 중심으로 한옥 경관의 이미지를 파악하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 한옥 경관 이미지는 문헌에 사용된 형용사 어휘와 청소년이 사용하는 어휘를통해 추출하였다. 청소년의 한옥 경관 이미지 평가는 쌍극 형용사를 5점 리커르트(Likert)척도로 평가하는 SD법으로 측정하였으며 한옥에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 김동수 한옥 사진을 보조적으로 제시하였다. 청소년 조사대상은 전주시의 4개 중학교의 남녀학생 각 120명씩 240명을 대상으로 하였으며 이들에게 설문지를 배부하여 회수하였다. 회수된 설문지 중 미비한 자료를제외한 236부를 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS 17.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 평균, 표준편차의 기술통계분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 문헌과 청소년 조사에서 추출한 한옥 경관 이미지는 41쌍의 쌍극 형용사였으며 그 속성은 자연미,절제미, 공간감, 정서감, 기능성, 외형성, 정체성에 관한 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 청소년을 대상으로 요인분석한 결과 30쌍의형용사로 한옥경관이미지를 파악할 수 있었으며 그 속성은 심미성, 기능성, 정서감, 공간감, 수수함, 조화성, 안정감, 사회문화성,시민성의 9개 요인으로 파악되었다. 그리고 의미분별척도법에 의한 청소년의 한옥 경관이미지 평가결과, 심미성, 기능성,정서감, 공간감은 명확한 이미지였으나 수수함, 안정감, 사회문화성, 시민성에 관한 한옥 경관이미지는 다소 강하지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 청소년이 지각한 한옥의 경관이미지 속성은 전통이라고 하는 시대적 특성을 담는 이미지와더불어 평범한 인간미를 갖는 수수함, 정서감, 시민성의 특성으로 현대 주택과 차별화 되는 것이다.

본 연구는 전주의 한옥마을을 전통문화 중심도시로 육성시키기 위해서 진행하였던 간판정비 사업을 중심으로 내용을 정리하였다. 전체구성 방법은 표준화 디자인에 있어서 활용과 설명방법 그리고 각종 사인물에 있어서 올바른 설치 방법을 제시하기 위해 사인디자인 적용과 기본방향을 조사하였다. 설문조사에 있어서는 전주시 시민과 외부인 그리고 한옥마을에 주거하는 주민 등 600명을 대상으로 한옥마을의 일반적 특성, 한옥마을의 정보습득과 이동성 그리고 한옥마을의 간판 규제와 범위 등 3분야로 나누어 설문을 진행하였다. 위의 조사결과를 바탕으로 전주한옥마을에 있어서 디자인 컨셉과 세부적인 간판 적용방법을 규정하였고 사인물 디자인에 대한 픽토그램과 전통 한옥에 있어서 사인물 설치 방법을 제시하였다. 전주한옥마을에 대한 사인물 정비의 행정적 절차 규정에 있어서는 전주시와 간판 광고업자, 한옥마을 심의위원회, 지역주민의 상호협력 방법 등 행정적으로 사업 진행을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 전주한옥마을 사인디자인 사업진행 방향을 종합하였고 관련 담당부서와 협의를 통해 앞으로 전주한옥마을을 전통과 역사가 잘 보존된 지역으로서 육성 발전할 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between overburden load and lateral stiffness of new traditional Korean-style house. The experiment was carried out with the 1/4 scale model under displacement control static loading. As the overburden load increased, the lateral stiffness of the new traditional Korean-style house also increased

In this study, we developed section list table for horizontally overlapped structural members of new traditional Korean-style houses. Wood grade, roof load, member length etc were considered as design variables. We expect that the developed section list table can help architectural designer of new traditional Korean-style house in their early design stage

In this study, we suggest the process that can effectively evaluate safety and serviceability of purlin members of new traditional Korean-style house. It is composed of three parts, that is, input, structurecalculation, and structure-evaluation part. We expect that this suggested process can help structural engineers to secure safety and serviceability of new traditional Korean-style house.

Generally deformation of wooden structures is larger than that of concrete and steel structures. We measured deformation of traditional Korean-style houses periodically and analyzed their deformation patterns. We expect that this study can help to reveal causes of long-term deformation of traditional Korean-style houses.
