본 연구는 의인화와 긍정적인 사용자 경험의 기제를 밝히기 위해 수행되었다. 이때 CASA (Computers Are Social Actors) 패러다임 접근법을 차용해 사회적 반응과 의인화의 인과관계를 검증하고 이 패러다임에 대한 올바른 이해를 도모했다. 본 연구는 대인관계에서 나타나는 깊은 자기개방의 친밀감 형성 및 의인화 효과를 사람과 대화형에이전트 의 관계에 적용해 사회적 반응과 의인화를 모두 유도했다. 그리고 친밀감으로 치환되는 사회적 연결감과 의인화의 인과관계를 밝히는 심리학 모델로 깊은 자기개방의 의인화 효과에 대한 친밀감의 매개효과를 탐색했다. 더 나아가 대인 특성이 적용된 에이전트 사용 경험이 긍정적으로 나타나는 데 친밀감과 의인화가 어떻게 관여하는지 탐구했다. 연구 결과, 자기개방 깊이가 깊을수록 에이전트가 더 친밀하고 사람답게 지각됐으며, 사용자 경험이 더 긍정적이었 다. 그리고 자기개방 깊이가 의인화와 긍정적인 사용자 경험에 미치는 영향을 친밀감이 완전히 매개하였다. 사람이 사회적 단서를 가지는 대상에 사회적으로 반응하기 때문에 대인 특성이 반영된 컴퓨터를 의인화하고 긍정적으로 평 가하는 것이다. 본 연구는 CASA 패러다임과 의인화 연구를 연결하며 인간 - 컴퓨터 상호작용에 대한 심리학적 설명 가능성을 시사한다. 그리고 의인화와 긍정적인 사용자 경험의 충분조건으로서 사회적 반응 즉, 친밀감의 중요성을 강조한다.

수면은 인생의 약 삼분의 일을 차지하는 중요한 활동이다. 그동안 많은 연구들을 통해 수면이 개인의 인지 및 정서에 차지하는 중요성이 밝혀졌지만, 수면이 타인과의 관계에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해서는 상대적으로 알려진 바가 적다. 본 연구는 수면이 청소년의 또래 친밀감에 기여할 가능성을 검토하였다. 또한 수면이 기억 응고화에 핵심적이라는 선행 연구들을 토대로 수면의 이러한 관계적 효용이 긍정적인 사회적 기억에 의해 설명될 것이라고 가정하였다. 연구 결과, 예상대로 중학생 수면의 질은 이들이 또래 관계에서 느끼는 친밀감을 예측하였으며, 이는 부분적으 로 사회적 일화를 긍정적으로 기억하는데 기인하였다(연구 1). 이러한 현상은 고등학생에게서도 동일하게 나타났다. 수면의 질이 높은 고등학생일수록 또래와 친밀한 관계를 맺는 경향이 있었으며, 이는 사회적 일화 기억의 긍정성 수준에 의해 부분적으로 설명되었다(연구 2). 인과성을 알아보기 위해 연구 2에서 일주일 간격을 두고 기억 과제를 반복 실시한 결과, 잠을 잘 잔 학생들은 그렇지 않은 학생들에 비해 자신의 사회적 일화를 더 긍정적으로 기억하는 모습을 보였다. 반면, 수면의 질은 비사회적 기억의 긍정성 변화와는 유의한 관련성을 보이지 않았다. 수면의 대인적 기능 및 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

선물 증여행위란 증여자와 수령자의 특수한 행동양태로, 선물 증여상황에서 발생되는 양자 간의 정서와 만족도는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이와 같은 선물 증여행위는 최근 모바일의 보급과 성장에 따라 모바일 환경에서도 빈번히 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 국내에서는 기프티콘 (Gifticon)으로 불리 우는 모바일 선물에 대한 연구들이 이루어지고 있지만 증여자 측면의 이용행태와 동기에만 집중하였다는 한계점이 존재한다. 이에 본 연구는 더 나아가 (1) 기프티콘 증여상황에서의 역할에 따른 정서차이를 알아보고자 하였으며, (2) 역할과 상호간 친밀도가 선물 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과 수령자의 경우에는 증여자보다 흥분, 짜릿함과 같은 긍정적인 정서를 더욱 높게 느끼고, 친밀도에 상관없이 높은 선물 만족도를 느꼈으나 증여자의 경우, 친밀도에 따라서 선물 만족도가 달라지는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 점점 성장하고 있는 모바일 시장에서 이루어지는 새로운 선물 증여행위에 대한 심리적 고찰과 동시에 역할 및 친밀도에 따른 소비자의 만족도를 알아봄으로써 새로운 선물 시장에 실무적 함의를 제시할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

The present study explores the effects of peer intimacy on Korean primary English learners' collaborative group work in terms of writing achievement and peer interaction. Fifty six elementary school students engaged in small group work on English writing tasks. They were grouped in three different types: high intimacy level group, low intimacy level group, and random group. The study results indicated no significant group differences in the students' abilities and attitudes of English writing. However, the three groups differed in the quantity and quality of peer interaction. The high intimacy group produced the largest number of utterance and the most collaborative interactions. The low intimacy group, on the other hand, produced more utterances but less collaborative interactions than did the random group. Overall, the study results suggested that peer intimacy may have no immediate effect on students' learning through small group work but it possibly has delayed effects in prolonged group work by mediating the quantity and quality of peer interactions. Limitations of the study and pedagogical suggestions are provided.

Kim Jeong-yeon. 2012. Intimacy and Gender in Expressing Gratitude in L2. The Sociolinguistic Journal of Korea 20(2). pp. 115-147. This study examines how Korean learners of English perform the speech act of ‘gratitude’ according to the variables of intimacy and gender. In a contrastive analytic framework, their behaviors are cross-examined against Korean native and English native speakers in terms of their choice of strategies and uses of politeness markers. The data have been obtained from 43 Americans and 91 Koreans assigned to three groups: English native speakers, Korean learners of English, and Korean native speakers. A discourse completion test and a subsequent interview revealed Korean learners of English showed a similar pattern as Korean native speakers in the uses of politeness markers to emphasize their thanking by intimacy levels. However, the way in which they deal with gender in English was divergent not only from American but also from Korean. They depended on the strategy of compliment while performing the speech act of gratitude, and were inclined to use negative politeness strategies, similar to the Korean language group. Korean EFL textbooks and classrooms, therefore, need to include not only more diverse contexts in which ‘gratitude’ is necessary, but also the ways in which the English speech act is performed in a culturally appropriate manner. This research was tried to determine the effects of the family unity and intimacy, the recognition about urban agriculture, and the preference of urban agricultural program on the member of urban agriculture experience program. The family cohesion was shown the increasing average significantly in participated group, but there were no difference in control group. It’s means that agricultural experiences affected on the family cohesion. The determination of recognition about urban agriculture, participated group had been appeared the significantly increasing value between before and after applied experience program. This result had shown the effect to recognition of urban agriculture program in joining group. The preference of urban garden program after program participated, building the kitchen garden program was chosen the best program and fellowed seeding, sowing of potato, herbal lecture with making herbal vinegar, harvesting of lotus leaf with cooking lotus leaf rice. Investigation of the urban agriculture program satisfaction after participated, participant were reported the effect of decreasing stress and increasing family unity, intimacy, and dialog. Also, participant were highly satisfied the garden soil condition and program.
