        This paper is concerned with formulating the design specification and making hyperbaric oxygen chamber for multi-users. HBOT(Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) is very effective remedy for increasing the concentration of melted oxygen in human and animal body. The melted oxygen supplies to each cell in body to recover the normal condition. This research reported the design specifications and mechanical test results of hyperbaric oxygen chamber made with polyurethane as well as computational analysis with CATIA program. These data can set the physical dimensions of practical HBOT equipment for multi-users and be used to produce the effective commercial model.

        As indoor air cleaners have large sizes and high air flow rates, the test methods for particle cleaning capacity need to be reconsidered because the prescribed test chamber size becomes relatively smaller. In this study, air flow rate of air cleaners compared to test chamber size (Q/V) has been investigated by comparing the short-circuit factor which indicates the air mixed condition in the test chamber. The test method of Korea Air Cleaning Association (KACA) has been analysed and compared to that of Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) for clean air delivery rate (CADR) of two household air conditioners equipped with air cleaners having a maximum air flow rate of 15 m3/min in terms of initial particle concentrations, neutralized/non-charged particles, delay time before acquiring initial particle concentration, sampling positions. Constant short-circuit factor of about 0.9 was obtained in the range of Q/V less than 0.73 min-1. CADR based on KACA test method was somewhat dependent on initial particle concentrations, delay time before acquiring initial concentration, sampling positions. However, CADR based on AHAM test method was less dependent. Two or three minutes of delay time before acquiring initial concentration was necessary to reduce the variation of CADR according to initial particle concentration and sampling position.

        This study presented a development of a phototactic chamber used for pest monitoring. The chamber was constructed by opaque acrylic body. Transparent acrylic wall of the chamber for light-exposure were fitted at both side end parts of the inside chamber. Side parts of the outside chamber were made of removable cover in combination with the air circulation system and light source such as LED or fluorescent. The insect entrance holes was positioned at the center part of the chamber to efficiently dispersed pests, and then nylon net was equipped inside the chamber to prevent the escape of inserted pests. Two opaque partition walls of the inside chamber were made of the movable plate, in order to the control of the light-exposure and the response termination. We also carried out behavioral experiment against various pest species by using the phototactic chamber. Consequently, the phototactic chamber was confirmed suitable result of behavioral experiment. Therefore, we believed that the test chamber help to understand the phototactic responses of various pests.

        This study was performed to analysis the concentration of TVOC, 5VOC and formaldehyde for building material of total 262 using 20L test chamber. The concentration of TVOC, 5VOC and formaldehyde were measured 1.001㎎/㎡・h, 43.032㎍/㎡・h, 0.012㎎/㎡・h, respectively. TVOC concentration of paint and floor covering occupied the largest concentration of the indoor building materials as 2.689㎎/㎡・h, 2.120㎎/㎡・h, respectively. 5VOC concentration of floor covering was measured 106.636㎍/㎡・h. Toulene and xylene were occupied the largest part of the 5VOC as 51.2% and 33.1%, respectively. The concentration of formaldehyde for furniture materials occupied the largest concentration of the indoor building material as 0.072㎎/㎡h.

        A ventilation system comprising a dielectric barrier discharger and UV‐TiO2 photocatalyst filters was designed and tested for simultaneous removal of gaseous and particulate contaminants in a test chamber. The DBD was used as the 1st stage of ESP for particle charging and gas decomposition. Charged particles were collected in the 2nd stage of ESP by an applied DC electric field. The UV‐TiO2 photocatalyst filters were used for decomposing gaseous species including O3 which was inherently produced by the DBD. Particle removal efficiencies based on mass and number were approximately 83.0% and 88.8%, respectively, after the ventilation system was operating for 5 hours. HCHO removal efficiency was approximately 100% for 1∼5ppm of upstream concentration condition. TVOC removal efficiency was 99.0% and 99.6% for 1 ppm and 5 ppm of upstream concentration conditions, respectively.

        TRiplet Ionospheric Observatory-CubeSat for Ion, Neutron, Electron & MAgnetic fields (TRIO-CINEMA) is a CubeSat with 3.14 kg in weight and 3-U (10 × 10 × 30 cm) in size, jointly developed by Kyung Hee University and UC Berkeley to measure magnetic fields of near Earth space and detect plasma particles. When a satellite is launched into orbit, it encounters ultrahighvacuum and extreme temperature. To verify the operation and survivability of the satellite in such an extreme space environment, experimental tests are conducted on the ground using thermal vacuum chamber. This paper describes the temperature control device and monitoring system suitable for CubeSat test environment using the thermal vacuum chamber of the School of Space Research, Kyung Hee University. To build the chamber, we use a general purpose thermal analysis program and NX 6.0 TMG program. We carry out thermal vacuum tests on the two flight models developed by Kyung Hee University based on the thermal model of the TRIO-CINEMA satellite. It is expected from this experiment that proper operation of the satellite in the space environment will be achieved.
