In this paper, quality properties and antioxidant capacity of cooked black carrot has been studied. Five different cooking methods have been applied: microwave (45 sec), boiling (100℃, 14 min), steaming (100℃, 20 min), sous vide (75℃, 80 min), sous-vide (95℃, 30 min). The color value was slightly different (p<0.05), the boiling method was the highest in L-value and Sous vide 75℃ method was the lowest. The steaming method indicated the highest a-value at 5.50. The b-value was significantly different between the samples (p<0.05). The microwave method was the highest at 3.49 while the sous vide 95℃ method was the lowest at -0.34. No significant difference was observed between the samples when only the moisture content results were considered. The highest pH was observed in samples cooked using the boiling method. The softening (%) was higher when the cooking water was in contact with samples and it was dependent on the temperatures. In addition, this study shows that not only temperature but also cooking time and cooking media are very crucial in the preparation and cooking of black carrot to prevent the loss of the antioxidant compound. In conclusion, the comparison of the quality characteristics and antioxidant properties of black carrots indicated that the most appropriate cooking method is sous-vide method.
본 연구는 진주 남강변의 식물상 조사를 통하여 남강 수변지역의 식생 관리방안 도출에 필요한 기초정보를 제공하기 위하여 실시하였다. 식물상 조사는 총 5개 지역(Ⅰ: 진양호~천수교, Ⅱ: 천수교~진양교, Ⅲ: 진양교~상평교, Ⅳ: 남강교~금산교, Ⅴ: 대곡면~장박교)으로 나누어 실시하였다. 관속식물은 98과 320속 496종 1아종 43변종 9품종, 총 549종이 출현하였으며, 이는 우리나라 관속식물 4,881종의 약 11.2%에 해당한다. 벼과가 69종(12%)으로 가장 많이 출현하였으며, 다음으로 국화과 57종(10.4%), 콩과 35종(6.4%), 사초과 28종(5.1%), 장미과 25종(4.6%)의 순이었다. 지표식물은 30종(5.47%)이 출현 하였으며, 이중에서 일년생과 반지중식물의 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 일년생식물은 159종(29%), 지중식물은 58종(10.5%), 반지중식물은 109종(19.8%)이 출현하였다. 지상식물은 관목 41종(7.48%), 아교목 32종(5.83), 교목 65종(11.8%)이 출현하였다. 수생식물과 착생식물은 각각 50종(9.12%)과 4종(0.72%)이 출현하였다. 희귀식물은 10과 10속 9종 1변종 10분류군이 출현하였으며, 구계학적특정식물은 37과 50속 52종 2변종으로 총 54분류군이 출현하였다. 한국특산식물은 8과 9속 10종으로 총 10분류군, 귀화식물은 22과 57속 73종 3변종 총 76분류군, 생태계 교란종은 총 5과 8속 8종 1변종으로 총 9분류군이 출현하였다.
A total of 23 individuals of glass eel (Anguilla japonica) were investigated from two estuarine barrages of the Nakdong River in 2016. It was observed that most individuals migrated through the eastern barrage, compared to the western. Individual numbers differed significantly along the corridor modification of the barrages; for example, the number of individuals was two to three times higher after the modification. These results indicate that modification of fish way and lock gate for has facilitated migration of glass eel, and our study potentially offers the operation strategy of estuarine barrage in order to induce more active migration of glass eel.
Ginseng has a unique production system that is different from those used for other crops. It is subject to the Ginseng Industry Act., requires a long-term cultivation period of 4-6 years, involves complicated cultivation characteristics whereby ginseng is not produced in a single location, and many ginseng farmers engage in mixedfarming. Therefore, to bring the production of Ginseng in line with GAP standards, it is necessary to better understand the on-site practices of Ginseng farmers according to established control points, and to provide a proper action plan for improving efficiency. Among ginseng farmers in Korea who applied for GAP certification, 77.6% obtained it, which is lower than the 94.1% of farmers who obtained certification for other products. 13.7% of the applicants were judged to be unsuitable during document review due to their use of unregistered pesticides and soil heavy metals. Another 8.7% of applicants failed to obtain certification due to inadequate management results. This is a considerably higher rate of failure than the 5.3% incompatibility of document inspection and 0.6% incompatibility of on-site inspection, which suggests that it is relatively more difficult to obtain GAP certification for ginseng farming than for other crops. Ginseng farmers were given an average of 2.65 points out of 10 essential control points and a total 72 control points, which was slightly lower than the 2.81 points obtained for other crops. In particular, ginseng farmers were given an average of 1.96 points in the evaluation of compliance with the safe use standards for pesticides, which was much lower than the average of 2.95 points for other crops. Therefore, it is necessary to train ginseng farmers to comply with the safe use of pesticides. In the other essential control points, the ginseng farmers were rated at an average of 2.33 points, lower than the 2.58 points given for other crops. Several other areas of compliance in which the ginseng farmers also rated low in comparison to other crops were found. These inclued record keeping over 1 year, record of pesticide use, pesticide storages, posts harvest storage management, hand washing before and after work, hygiene related to work clothing, training of workers safety and hygiene, and written plan of hazard management. Also, among the total 72 control points, there are 12 control points (10 required, 2 recommended) that do not apply to ginseng. Therefore, it is considered inappropriate to conduct an effective evaluation of the ginseng production process based on the existing certification standards. In conclusion, differentiated certification standards are needed to expand GAP certification for ginseng farmers, and it is also necessary to develop programs that can be implemented in a more systematic and field-oriented manner to provide the farmers with proper GAP management education.
The effects of stigma removal from floral organ and treatment of auxin on those regions were evaluated on the fruit growth and quality in strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Duch.). The removal of stigma reduced the fruit weight, fruit length, and fruit width, while fruit growth declined as the number of removed stigma increased. The removal of stigma also resulted in reduced fruit firmness, sugar content, and total anthocyanin content, and decreased value of Hunter a for red color and increased value of Hunter b for yellow. The number of seeds deceased as the regions of removed stigma increased. The treatment of auxin on the region of removed stigma improved fruit size, while it reduced fruit firmness, sugar content, and anthocyanin content. The delay in fruit ripening was observed from both stigma removal and auxin treatment. The incidence of malformed fruits increased as the regions with removed stigma increased. The treatment of auxin also promoted fruit malformation.
This study investigates Ag coated Cu2O nanoparticles that are produced with a changing molar ratio of Ag and Cu2O. The results of XRD analysis reveal that each nanoparticle has a diffraction pattern peculiar to Ag and Cu2O determination, and SEM image analysis confirms that Ag is partially coated on the surface of Cu2O nanoparticles. The conductive paste with Ag coated Cu2O nanoparticles approaches the specific resistance of 6.4 Ω·cm for silver paste(SP) as (Ag) /(Cu2O) the molar ratio increases. The paste(containing 70 % content and average a 100 nm particle size for the silver nanoparticles) for commercial use for mounting with a fine line width of 100 μm or less has a surface resistance of 5 to 20 μΩ·cm, while in this research an Ag coated Cu2O paste has a larger surface resistance, which is disadvantageous. Its performance deteriorates as a material required for application of a fine line width electrode for a touch panel. A touch panel module that utilizes a nano imprinting technique of 10 μm or less is expected to be used as an electrode material for electric and electronic parts where large precision(mounting with fine line width) is not required.
The odor substances generated in a feed manufactory operating for the commercialization of animal-vegetable materials were analyzed and the odor reduction efficiency by a chemical scrubber was evaluated. The major causative substances in the feed manufactory comprised about 45.4% of ketone compounds and about 13.3% of aldehyde compounds. On the other hand, the removal efficiencies of diacetyl and acetoin as ketone compounds were 77.3% and 78.1%, respectively, by a chemical scrubber. Additionally, the removal efficiencies of acetaldehyde, butyraldehyde, valeraldehyde, 2-furancarboxaldehyde, and nonanal were 86.0%, 78.9%, 67.4%, 52.8%, and 71.9%, respectively. These rates were higher than the odor generation substance contribution rate as a result of treating the exhaust gas generated from the feed manufactory by the chemical scrubber using 5% of C3. It was also found that xylene, methylcyclopentane, benzene, ethylbenzene, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, and decane were almost not removed.
2018년 12월, 미 국무부는 폼페이오 장관 명의로 낸 성명에서 알누스라 전선, 알카에다 아라비아반도 지부, 알카에다, 알샤바브, 보코하람, 후티 반군, 이슬람국가(ISIS), ISIS 호라산 지부, 탈레반은 특정 관심 기관(entities)으로 지정했다. 이는 국제정세의 변화와 테러 자금의 유입경로가 차단되고, 조직 내부적 기반이 변화되는 등 테러 조직이 스스로 약화된 구심력을 강화하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 과정에서 테러 양상의 확장과 다변화를 우려하는 시각의 표출로 볼 수 있다.
이 연구는 2016년-2018년의 특정 관심 기관의 동향을 통해 국제 테러리즘의 정세를 살펴보고자 한다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 향후 발생 가능한 테러리즘의 양상을 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
첫째, ISIS의 중동지역에서의 세력 약화는 역설적이게도 풍선효과와 같이 중동 외의 지역에서 테러가 빈번하게 발생하는 효과가 나타나고 있다. 이로 인해 테러가 발생하는 국가의 수가 증가하여 지역적 다양화가 이루어지고 있다. 둘째, 유럽에서는 외국인 거주자의 비율, 무슬림 비율 이 증가될 것으로 판단되며, 경제 침체와 실업률 상승으로 인한 외국인 거주자의 불만을 조장하는 요인이 강화될 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 구체적이고 상징적인 공격 대상이 없다는 것도 최근 몇 년간 나타난 흐름을 보여 사전 예방적 대책들을 무력화시키고 있는 실정이며, 넷째, 테러 수법 및 유형에 있어 비기술적 방법이 일반화되고 있다. 다섯째는 테러리스트의 국적, 유형 등의 형태가 다양화되고 있고, 외로운 늑대형에서 늑대 무리형의 형태가 나타나고 있다
현대 사회에서 도시화와 온난화로 인한 태풍 등 강풍에 의한 피해는 증가될 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 기 개발된 창호 보호장치의 보강성능을 시험하기 위해 비 보강된 판유리와 보강된 판유리의 2점 가력실험과 등분포하중 실험을 수행하였다. 창호보호 장치의 보강성능은 휨 성능평가를 토대로 평가하였다. 창호보호장치의 이론적 성능 산정은 탄성하중법과 처짐 곡선의 미분방정식을 이용한 수식해석과 Midas-Gen을 이용한 전산해석을 통해 수행하였다. 실험값과 이론 산정 값의 최대하중 가력시의 판유리 중앙부 최대 처짐 비교를 통해 산정방법의 유효성을 검토하였다. 창호보호장치 부착 시 실험조건하에서 40%까지의 응력감소효과와 동일 하중 하에서 71.4%까지의 처짐 감소 효과가 있었다. 판유리를 보요소로 해석한 결과보다 판유리를 판 요소로 해석한 결과가 오차가 적으므 로 성능 판단 시 가능하면 판 요소로 해석을 수행하는 것이 유리하다.
