Purpose - This study attempted to construct and validate a structural model of the relationship between the quality of medical services, perceived risk, reputation and customer satisfaction, which is the main concept of the relationship between large hospitals as well as small and medium hospitals and medical consumers. Through this verification, the small and medium hospitals are to find the way for wise coping in competitive situation with large hospitals.
Research design, data, and methodology - This research developed a hypothesis by constructing a structural equation that reaches the satisfaction and the relationship between reputation of perceived risk and perceived risk of service quality perceptions of customers of small and medium hospitals. Research data were collected through a questionnaire survey of respondents who had medical service experience from small and medium hospital. A total data of 252 respondents were used as the sample for the final analysis and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.
Results - As a result, the relationship of quality of medical service, reputation, and customer satisfaction among small and medium hospitals was consistent with the results of precedent studies, and the perceived risk has a significant impact on reputation, so the greater the perceived risk, the higher the preference for reputable medical institutions as large hospitals. In addition, it was found that the direct route from perceived risk to customer satisfaction was not significant, and reputation was found to have a full mediating effect on perceived risk and customer satisfaction. Customers who use small and medium hospitals prefer to use reputable medical institutions if their perceived risk is high, which is different from risk perception when specific targets are specified.
Conclusions - In terms of the effect from customer satisfaction, not only the path of perceived risk → reputation → customer satisfaction, but also the quality of service quality → reputation → customer satisfaction. These findings suggest that small and medium hospitals are appropriately responding to competition with large hospitals, rather than focusing on the perceived risks and reputation of customers in establishing and utilizing competitive strategies to create new customers and preserve existing customers
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to classify the quality factors of chicken restaurant customers with the service quality based on the SERVQUAL, the quality factors based on the selection attributes and service qualities of chicken restaurants used in the previous studies.
Research design, data, and methodology - This survey was carried out on the students of Kangwon University in Samchuk City, Kangwon Province from November 20 - November 30, 2017, and a total of 260 questionnaires were distributed, with 222 collected. Of them, effective questionnaires applied in the final study were a total of 193 except 29 that couldn't be used.
Results - The findings of this study are as follows: Firstly, chicken restaurants' quality factors were divided into seven categories like cleanliness, service encounter quality, product quality, aesthetics, overall interior, purchase quality, and convenience. Secondly, it showed that service encounter quality, purchase quality, and cleanliness had a positive impact on customer satisfaction, respectively. Thirdly, it showed that service encounter quality, purchase quality, and cleanliness had a positive impact on trust, respectively. Fourthly, it showed that customer satisfaction had a positive impact on behavioral intention. Additionally, it suggested that customer satisfaction of chicken restaurant consumers had a positive impact on behavioral intention and thereby, higher customer satisfaction leads to higher levels of reuse and recommendation intention. Lastly, after checking the effect relations of trust between customer satisfaction about chicken restaurant and behavioral intention, it was analyzed that customer satisfaction has a positive impact on trust and trust has a positive impact on behavioral intention. On the other hand, it showed that trust have a partially mediating effect in the relations between customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. But, it showed that product quality, aesthetics, overall interior, purchase quality, and convenience did not have a positive impact on customer satisfaction.
Conclusions - Chicken restaurant consumers put more priority on friendly and good services of chicken restaurant staff in service encounter and delivery order, rather than on reasonable price and discount systems. Thereby, chicken restaurant marketers need to take factors like service encounter quality, cleanliness into more consideration.
한때 K 뷰티 열풍과 함께 호황을 이루던 로드숍이 위기를 맞게 되었다. 로드숍 경영 악화의 여러 이유 중 드러그 스토어의 성장과 함께 변해가는 소비자의 성향과 트렌드를 이해하지 못하는 것이 가장 큰 원인으로 보고 있다. 현재 소비시장의 핵심 고객 세대는 베이비붐세대에서 밀레니얼 세대로 변하였고 핵심 고객의 특성을 조사하는 과정에서 밀레니얼 세대는 경험을 중요시한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 뷰티숍 경험을 바탕으로 서비스 디자인을 제안하였다. 먼저 현 뷰티 시장에서 세 가지 브랜드로 좁혀 사례마다 데스크 리서치 하였다. 각각의 브랜드는 체험적 요소를 다양하게 적용하고 제품과 함께 다양한 이벤트를 제공함으로써 경험적 서비스 제공하고 있었다. 이후 미스터리쇼핑을 통해 각 매장의 체험 요소와 뷰티 브랜드 서비스를 경험하여 여정 맵을 그리고 소비자의 고객 경험 포인트가 매장, 제품, 서비스로 범위가 나뉘면서 경험 포인트별로 로드숍의 이용자를 대상으로 인터뷰 내용을 작성하였다. 인터뷰의 답변을 모아 두 명의 퍼소나를 설정하였고 제품 구매를 목적으로 하는 상황과 일상에서 코스메틱 제품이 필요한 상황으로 나누어 고객 여정 맵을 그렸다. 그 결과 매장 안의 제품에 대해서 5가지, 매장 환경에 대해서 3가지, 매장에서 경험하는 서비스에 대해서 5가지의 페인 포인트(Pain point)를 발견하였다. 발견한 페인 포인트(Pain point) 중 제품 정보 습득에 대한 불편함, 포인트에 대한 적은 기대치, 브랜드 서비스의 해결방안에 중점을 두어 애플리케이션을 활용한 서비스 디자인을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 코스메틱을 위한 애플리케이션 서비스는 고객뿐만 아니라 뷰티 전문가, 코스메틱 업체 모두 만족할 수 있는 서비스 디자인으로 소비자와 소통하고 경험 디자인을 통하여 브랜드 가치 상승과 충성고객을 이끌어 가는 매개체가 되길 희망한다.
지금과 같이 브랜드가 넘쳐나는 시장 상황에서 패키지는 제품의 속성만을 표현하는 것 뿐 만 아니라 소비자의 needs, 시대 의 트랜드를 반영한 차별화된 디자인을 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 브랜드 아이덴티티와 패키지디자인에 대한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 강력한 브랜드를 구축하는데 있어 필요한 다양한 패키지 디자인의 구성요소 중 4가지를 선정하여 색채, 캐릭터, 일러스트, 형태에 대해 패키지 차별화로 브랜드 아이덴티티가 뚜렷한 사례를 가진 국, 내외 브랜드 위주의 사례를 켈러의 CBBE모델을 기초로 하여 분석하고자 한다. 분석 내용을 요약하면 첫 번째, 감성 시대로 발전한 오늘날에 기업들은 다른 기업들과의 경쟁에서 차별화를 하기 위하여 많은 노력을 한다. 두 번째, 색채의 사용은 패키지 디자인에 있어서 매우 중요 하다. 세 번째, 아트마케팅을 적용한 패키지 디자인은 독특하고 품격 있는 세련된 이미지로 소비자에게 신선하게 다가감을 알 수 있다. 네 번째, 독특한 형태를 적용한 패키지는 브랜드를 알리는데 핵심적인 역할을 한다. 위의 디자인 사례를 종합 해보면 차별화 된 패키지 디자인은 주목성과 재미를 주는 패키지로 보는 이로 하여금 흥미를 유발하여 소비 욕구가 생기게 하며, 관련 상품과 기업에 새로운 가치를 창조하는 전략임을 알 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 브랜드 강화 전략 중 차별화의 한 전략으로 패키지 디자인의 다양한 사례를 파악하고자 한다.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the chatbot's characteristics (ease of use, social presence, playfulness, usefulness) on service value, customer satisfaction and reuse intention when consumers purchased fashion products in the mobile shopping environments.
Research design, data, and methodology – Data were collected from Korean consumers from ages 20 to 59 who have experienced using chatbot in a mobile shopping for fashion products. After a pilot survey to 53 customers, the preliminary questionnaire was revised for the final test, and the final questionnaire was administered to 1500 customers. Out of these, 300 were collected. After deleting 48 incomplete ones, 252 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. Frequency analysis and exploratory factor analysis using SPSS 23.0 and confirmatory factor analysis and structure equation analysis using AMOS 18.0 were employed for data analyses.
Results - First, four factors were extracted for the chatbot's characteristics: ease of use, social presence, playfulness and usefulness. Second, regarding the effect of chatbot's characteristics on service value when purchasing fashion products in the mobile shopping environment, ease of use, playfulness and usefulness of chatbot significantly affected service value. Social presence did not have significant effects on service value. Third, in terms of the effect of the chatbot's characteristics on customer satisfaction when purchasing fashion products in the mobile shopping environment, social presence, playfulness and usefulness of chatbot significantly had an effect on customer satisfaction. Ease of use did not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Fourth, service value of chatbot when purchasing fashion products in mobile shopping environment was found to have an effect on customer satisfaction with chatbot. Fifth, service value of chatbot on reuse intention when purchasing fashion products in the mobile shopping environment was found to have an effect on reuse intention of chatbot. Sixth, customer satisfaction with chatbot had a significant impact on the reuse intention of the chatbot when purchasing fashion products in the mobile shopping environment.
Conclusions - The present study provide dimensions on the chatbot’s characteristics and these may provide helpful data for further studies in this area and for marketers as well.
Purpose - With the economic development in China, the lifestyle of Chinese customers has changed dramatically. Chinese customers are more likely to have coffee in a shop with the ability to make them happy than those with high quality coffee in a nice physical environment. Happiness becomes a critical driver of customers’ intention to purchase a cup of coffee in a specific coffee shop again and again. As a result, happiness becomes an important factor for managers to make strategies for attracting customers. Although managers and scholars pay more attention to emphasize the importance of happiness in customers’ consumption, little research has been conducted to investigate the relationship between happiness and coffee shop’s continuous usage intention in the Chinese coffee industry.
Research design, data, and methodology – A research model is made to explain the impact of happiness on customer’s behavior. To understand the influence of happiness better, we consider two dimensions of happiness which are subjective well-being and psychological well-being. In order to confirm the relationships of the variables in the research model, the online survey is constructed in China. Customers who have experienced the services in a coffee shop are asked to do the questionnaire. With 453 reliable questionnaires, structural equation modeling is used to analyze the causal relationships of the coffee quality, physical environment, subjective well-being, psychological well-being, and continuous usage intention.
Results - Results indicate that coffee quality and physical environment are not the direct factors that influence customers’ continuous usage intention. However, good coffee quality and physical environment are the significant predictors of Chinese customers’ happiness associated with subjective well-being and psychological well-being, which in turn affects customers’ continuous usage intention.
Conclusions - In this study, it is proposed that coffee quality and physical environment may be the key factors influencing customers’ happiness. Happiness, including subjective well-being and psychological well-being matters in decision making process. More importantly, happiness increases the continuous usage intention when the coffee shop can serve customers with higher quality coffee at a good atmospheric place. Managers should consider happiness as an important factor in making marketing strategies to compete in this industry.
Purpose - Customer loyalty and citizenship behavior are key success factors of franchise system. They make the management of franchisee more effective and efficient. Prior studies, however, mainly dealt with only acquisition utility of customer, such as perceived product/service quality and brand reputation to explain customer loyalty and citizenship behavior, which explains only on one side. We tried to investigate the effect of exchange utility of customer, such as relationship strength and psychological obligation together with the acquisition utility. In addition, we tried to investigate the relationship between customer loyalty and citizenship behavior in franchise context.
Research design, data, and methodology - This study used data collected from the dining franchisee managers of 342 franchisors in South Korea. The franchisors consist of more than ten franchisees, the majority of which participated directly in the transaction with franchisor and have worked for more than six months. To test the hypotheses, the study used structural equation model analysis.
Results - H1-1, 1-2, 1-3 predicted that acquisition utility would increase customer loyalty to franchisee. In support of H1-1, 1-2, 1-3, the results indicated that acquisition utilities such as perceived product value, perceived service value, and franchise brand reputation had positive effects on customer loyalty. H2-1, 2-2 predicted that exchange utility would increase customer loyalty to franchisee. In support of H2-2, the result indicated that psychological obligation had positive effects on customer loyalty like other acquisition utilities. However, H2-1 was not supported. Relationship strength had no significant effect on customer loyalty. H3 predicted that customer loyalty would increase customer citizenship behavior. In support of H3, the results indicated that customer loyalty had positive effect on customer citizenship behavior. Overall, the evidences generally supported the hypotheses.
Conclusion - The results of the study show that not only acquisition utility but also exchange utility increases customer loyalty to franchisee and also show that customer loyalty increases customer citizenship behavior. Interestingly, however, relationship strength has no significant effect on customer loyalty. These results have two implications. The one is that increasing exchange utility can improve customer loyalty as acquisition utility can. The other one is that both of customer utilities can improve customer citizenship via customer loyalty.
Purpose - Smartphone shopping malls provide customers with a variety of tangible and intangible services including web sites, web design, use convenience, information for products and shopping and various after services. Accordingly, it is needed to expand and classify service qualities based on the various services provided by smartphone shopping malls, and then analyze path structures of smartphone shopping malls' qualities → customer satisfaction → behavioral intention. The purpose of this study is to categorize the qualities of smartphone shopping mall users based on the e-SERVQUAL by Lee(2002) and the SERVQUAL by Parasuraman et al.(1988, 2005), the smartphone shopping malls' service qualities based on service quality of smartphone shopping malls used in the previous use studies, and the Website quality factors of service industry and to analyze path structure of smartphone shopping mall's qualities → customer satisfaction → behavioral intention on college students in order to confirm the system of smartphone shopping malls' qualities.
Research design, data, and methodology - This study's survey was carried out on the college students of university located in northeastern of Seoul. It was from December 7 - 15, 2017, and a total of 240 questionnaires were distributed, with 228 collected. Of them, effective questionnaires used in the final study were a total of 201 except 27 that couldn't be used. In this study, empirical analysis was done with factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, simple multiple regression analysis and moderating regression analysis by using Statistics Package SPSS18.0.
Results - The study results are as follows: First, smartphone shopping malls' qualities were classified into six categories like customer system quality, Web design quality, convenience quality, information-offering quality, service quality, and product quality. Second, it showed that system quality, Web design quality, and information-offering quality had a positive impact on customer satisfaction, respectively. Third, it suggested that quality factors of smartphone shopping mall users had a positive impact on customer satisfaction in the order of quality, information-offering quality, system quality and Web design quality. Finally, it showed that customer service quality, product quality, and convenience quality did not have a positive impact on customer satisfaction. In addition, it said that customer satisfaction of smartphone shopping mall users had a positive impact on behavioral intention and thereby, the higher the customer satisfaction was, the higher the relations between reuse intention and recommendation intention were. Meanwhile, moderating regression analysis showed that trust did not have moderating effect in the relations between customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. The above study revealed that smartphone shopping malls' qualities were classified into six categories and it was possible to generalize after empirical analysis was made in the path structure.
Conclusions - Smartphone shopping mall users consider usefulness of obtaining shopping information and quality on quick and abundant shopping information more important than access environment of smartphone shopping malls and kind services of smartphone shopping mall managers. Thereby, smartphone shopping mall marketers need to take service qualities like system quality and information-offering quality into more consideration.
Purpose - Despite the global economic crisis, the numbers of coffee shops used for providing a place for social and cultural interactions show an upward trend and have become an indispensable part in people’s daily life in recent years. Under the circumstance of tremendous efforts of searching new management strategies and projects, the concept of servicescape(which has physical environment characteristics) may provide a better alternative. Therefore, the purpose of this study can be broadly divided into 3 key points. First is to investigate the effects of servicescape on customer satisfaction, service value and customer loyalty about Coffee Shops in Jeonju area. Second is to examine the mediating effect of customer satisfaction and service value between servicescape and customer loyalty. Third, there is evidence that indicates the moderating effect among the interaction of customer and staff, brand image and the composition of servicescape, customer satisfaction, service value and customer loyalty.
Research design, data, and methodology - This study begins empirical research about users of coffee shops’ services. The data of the study is collected from 285 samples of a questionnaire which has been made from Korea and analysed by IBM SPSS 24.0 and IBM AMOS 24.0.
Results - The results are reported below: First of all, the composition of condition, functionality, cleanliness and aesthetic characteristics of the servicescape has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and s ervice value. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is identified as a factor to influence service value. Moreover, customer satisfaction and service value are identified as the causal relationship with customer loyalty. Besides, customer satisfaction and service value illustrated the mediation effect between the composition of servicescape and customer loyalty. Finally, the interaction between customer and staff, brand image illustrates the moderated effect.
Conclusions - The composition of servicescape contributes to the formation of customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer's perceived service value in coffee shops. By meeting diverse and complex needs of consumers in coffee shop, the service value will not only attract loyal customers, but also increase customer loyalty and profitability. In a word, managers should rely on servicescape to enhance service experience by making differences with other competitors.
Recently, interest in rural tourism for urban dwellers has increased, and rural communities are chosen as tourist destinations. Under these circumstances, the study was designed to analyze the effects of the quality of service at rural stay sites on customer satisfaction and recommendation intention. The analysis method analyzes the demographic characteristics of the survey participants and characteristics of participation in rural stay. And the quality of service for the experience of rural stay was analyzed with SERVQUAL’S five-dimensional type, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, empathy, tangible and customer satisfaction, intent of recommendation and regression. Major analysis shows that the survey subjects were found to have an average age of 41.8 years, 49 to 59 years old, and a high degree of university graduation. And as characteristic of participation, the form of company was family and relatives, the form of family meeting was many summer, the reservation was Internet, and payment by cash and card were many. As a result of the hypothesis testing, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, and empathy among the quality of service of rural stay were affected in customer satisfaction. In addition, the quality of service and the intent to recommend it were statistically significant, reliability, assurance and empathy. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to make efforts to improve service quality as the quality of service at rural stay places has relevance to customer satisfaction and recommendation intention.
본 연구는 정기선 해운기업의 고객관계관리의 실제적인 내용을 살펴보고, 이러한 고객관계관리를 촉진시키는 조직의 전반적인 특성들을 고찰하여 조직특성과 고객관계관리와의 관계를 분석하고, 고객관계관리가 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 정기선 해운기업의 고객관계관리에 영향을 미치는 조직특성은 시장지향성과 최고경영자의 지원으로 확인되었으며, 고객관계관리는 종업원만족도, 서비스경쟁력 향상, 재무적 성과, 그리고 고객만족도와 재구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 정기선 해운기업의 고객관계관리를 전사적 차원에서 조직문화와 관리체계 등의 조직특성들과 연계되어 시행되어야 한다는 것을 제시하였으며, 이러한 조직특성들을 바탕으로 한 고객관계관리 전략이 정기선 해운기업의 조직성과와 고객차원의 만족도 및 재구매의도의 전반적인 경영성과에 영향을 미치게 된다는 것을 실증함으로써, 정기선 해운기업의 고객관계관리를 해운기업 및 고객 관점에서 종합적으로 조사 분석하였다는데 연구의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.
Purpose - To meet the needs of various customers in an uncertain market environment, many companies use product modularization strategies. Modularization of a product means that one product consists of several components and that the type of product can be changed according to the combination of components. The greatest feature of modularity is that changes in one component do not significantly affect the physical changes in the other component to which they are connected. Modularization of products is recognized as a very important strategy to reflect increasingly complicated customer requirements to products and respond to the needs of various markets. Many studies have been made in connection with the concept of mass customer satisfaction. There are many prior studies that modularization of such products positively affects the operational performance (manufacturing cost, fast delivery, etc.) and innovation of the product. However, excessive modularization has been found to have a negative effect on this performance. However, there are very few studies on the nonlinear relationship between product modularization and customer satisfaction. Supplementing these academically insufficient parts is very necessary when considering the current market environment.
Research design, data, and methodology - In order to make up for the shortcomings of academic research in Korea, this study collects data through questionnaires in electronic, auto, and defense industry. This is because these industries are using modularity of products. based on lots of previous studies and information overload theory, we made two hypothesis and verify with empirical analysis. All 108 data were used. We used the R program and SPSS program for statistical verification.
Results - As a result of the study, modularization of products showed positive relationship with customer satisfaction to a certain level. However, it has been found that when the modularization is over and beyond a certain level, there is a negative relationship with customer satisfaction.
Conclusions – Excessive modularization of products can have a negative impact on customer satisfaction. This result can be understood as a result of human limited rationality due to information overload. Therefore, it is important for companies to apply appropriate modularity to product design.
본 연구는 기존의 서비스품질모형에 관한 연구들을 고찰하여 Grönroos의 2차원 모형에 기반을 두고 항만서비스의 과정품질을 환 경품질과 전달품질의 2요인 구조로 분화시키고 거기에 결과품질요소를 추가한 서비스품질 모형의 기본적인 프레임을 구성하였다. 또한 서비 스 품질 각 요소들의 하위 변수들은 항만서비스의 특성 및 변화하는 항만패러다임을 반영한 최신의 실증연구를 바탕으로 서비스 품질 측정에 적합할 뿐 만 아니라 변화하는 항만산업의 특성을 고려한 서비스 품질 측정 요인들을 종합하여 최종적인 서비스품질 모형을 도출하였다. 이 에 따라 도출된 서비스 품질모형의 각 특성이 고객만족과 항만의 이미지에 미치는 영향과, 고객만족이 항만이미지에 미치는 영향 및 고객만 족과 항만이미지가 관계지속의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 부산항의 서비스를 이용하는 선사 및 물류업체, 포워더, 화주 등을 대상으 로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 가설검증을 위해서 Smart-PLS 3.0 프로그램이 활용되었다. 분석결과 서비스 품질차원의 각 요소들은 고객만족 에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 항만이미지에는 상품품질과 환경품질이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고객 만족도는 항만의 긍정적인 이미지를 구축하는데 영향을 미치며 고객만족도와 항만의 긍정적인 이미지는 관계지속의도에도 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between customer trust and intention to return to the traditional market by using empirical analysis.
Research design, data, and methodology – For the empirical analysis of this study, questionnaires were conducted for adults and over 20s. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to consumers with experience in traditional markets, and 163 of them were used for empirical analysis. In order to analyze the relationship between customer trust and return visit intention by consumers visiting the traditional market, variables were selected through 10 constructive concepts and revised based on previous studies. The SPSS for win 18.0 was used for data analysis. Results – In order to clarify the relationship between consumer's visit to traditional market and customer's trust, it was found that the tolerance values of both the visiting factors and the consumers' perceptions of traditional markets were higher than .01. In the relationship between visitor's visit to traditional market and customer's trust, price was positively related to customer trust at 0.1% level. Image, product quality and freshness of traditional market were 5% Positive effects were found. These results show that consumers who visit traditional markets gain customer's trust in price, image, product quality and reliability of traditional market. Conclusions – In this study, the results of this study are as follows: First, the effect of customer trust on customer satisfaction is affected by the image (emotion) consumers feel about traditional market, the trust level about the price of goods offered by the market, The confidence level of freshness, the reliability of consumers' connection with the local economy, the consumer's traditional marketplace, and the level of awareness of the service (kindness) of the variables on the independent variables. As a result of the analysis, it was found that among the influence variables of customer trust used in this study, consumers had a high level of confidence about the price of commodities offered by the market, quality of goods, and freshness, The same relationship, market environment such as hygiene or cleanliness, connection with a local economy, service (kindness) of traditional market did not affect consumers' trust in traditional markets.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to classify the quality factors of coffee shop customers with the service quality based on the SERVQUAL, selection attributes, and service qualities used in previous studies. The path structure of coffee shops' quality factors → customer satisfaction → trust → behavioral intention was analyzed in order to confirm the system of coffee shops' quality factors. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey of was conducted with college students of Kangwon University. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed, with 232 collected. Of them, Excluding 36 respondents’ because of incomplete answers and missing values, 196 responses were used in the final analysis. Empirical analysis was made through factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, simple regression analysis and mediating regression analysis by using Statistics Package SPSS 19.0. Results - The results are as follows: Firstly, coffee shops' quality factors were classified into seven categories like service encounter quality, product quality, cleanliness, overall interior, purchase quality, convenience, and aesthetics. Secondly, service encounter quality, product quality, purchase quality, and aesthetics had a positive effect on customer satisfaction, respectively. Thirdly, it showed that service encounter quality, product quality, overall interior, purchase quality, and aesthetics had a positive effect on trust, respectively. Fourthly, customer satisfaction had a positive effect on behavioral intention. Lastly, after verifying the effect relations of trust between customer satisfaction about coffee shop and behavioral intention, customer satisfaction has a positive effect on trust and trust has a positive effect on behavioral intention. On the other hand, trust did not have a mediating effect between customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. But, cleanliness, convenience, and overall interior did not have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Conclusions - Coffee shop consumers put importance on price, discount systems, taste, and freshness, but more on courteous and kind services of coffee shop staff or comfortable and calming atmosphere of inner space. Thereby, coffee shop marketers need to take factors like service encounter quality and aesthetics into more consideration. In addition, customer satisfaction has an effect on trust, while trust on behavioral intention, even though trust is not mediated between customer satisfaction and behavior intention.
The interest and participation of the rural experience is increasing as an alternative for the problems such as the decrease of the agricultural income facing the agriculture and the rural area, the decrease of the population, and the regional stagnation. The rural experience has recently been transformed into a software dimension such as programs and participation activities in the past. In addition, public awareness also positively evaluates agriculture and rural communities as the basis for supporting society and recognition of multiple functions. Furthermore, the intention of the citizen to the earnest village is increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of rural experience and customer satisfaction of urban residents on the recognition of return to farm and rural areas. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the characteristics of rural experience had a positive effect on the farming villages by the program, the experience field and the host, and the customer satisfaction had a positive effect on the farming villages. Therefore, it is considered that a systematic approach to the rural experience is needed in the future because the experience of the rural people in the city has a positive effect on the earliest villages.
This study examined effects of service quality, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangibles and empathy on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by surveying users of Jangsu Horse Riding Experience Course at a time that an interest in horseback riding experience increases. Hypothesis was tested by conducting frequency analysis and regression analysis. It was found that for service quality and customer satisfaction of horse riding experience which is hypothesis 1, all dimensions except empathy were significant. It was revealed that hypothesis 2 which customer satisfaction will have a significant influence on customer loyalty is significant. It was found that hypothesis 3 which service quality will have an influence on customer loyalty is significant except assurance of service quality. Findings of this study suggest that empathy in customer satisfaction and assurance in customer satisfaction should be improved.
This study identified the impact of the service quality of local food stores on customer satisfaction and revisiting intention of the customers as the interest into local foods is increasing. The main outcomes are as follows: First, many of the respondents said that they use the local food stores based on the trust in the origin of the products and good quality. Second, reliability and validity were suitable for factor analysis and the correlation had a positive (+) directivity. Third, reliability, assurance, empathy and tangibles were analyzed to have a positive (+) impact among the 5 aspects of service quality except for responsiveness. Fourth, customer satisfaction had a positive (+) impact on the intention to revisit the local food stores, and reliability, assurance and empathy had a positive (+) impact on revisiting intention at the statistical significance level except for responsiveness and tangibles among the 5 service quality aspects. Therefore, it is thought to be required to keep having interests into service quality to gain a competitive edge as a sustainable management system since the service quality of local food stores has impacts on customer satisfaction and intention to revisit.
디자인적 사고는 오늘날 모든 분야에서 디자이너와 같은 사고가 필요하다는 이론이다. 따라서 ‘디자인 경영’ 보다는 ‘경영 디자인’에 좀 더 가까운 개념이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 사례를 토대로 디자인적 사고가 오늘날 국내 비즈니스에 주는 영향과 효용성에 대한 연구를 진행하고자 하였으며. 그리고 창조적 혁신을 위한 하나의 방법론으로써 디자인적 사고의 가능성을 타진하고자 하였다. 본 논문의 현대카드, 서울아산병원, Haatz 등 국내 기업의 디자인적 사고 활용 사례 분석 결과를 토대로 정리하면, 국내 조직에도 디자인적 사고의 주요 요인으로 꼽은 4가지, 고객 경험적 가치 부여, 고객 중심 접 근, 강한 리더십, 조직 환경 조성이 올바르게 적용된다면 목표를 위해 다양한 방향에서 새로운 마케팅 실시가 가능해지고 소비자의 니즈 이상의 경험과 관례적이었던 불합리함과 불편함이 개선되어 디자인적 사고가 충분히 성공적인 현대 경영 운 영에 가능성을 보였다고 평가할 수 있다.
This study aimed to analyze factors of importance and performance picked by customers of Bibijeong, a farm restaurant operated by the local community of Wanju-gun. Major points include: Recognition paths mostly were word of mouth and mass media, types of visit were in the company of friends, family members or work colleagues, and purposes of visit included consumption of meal and identifying features of the restaurant. Secondly, factor analysis showed that level of facility, atmosphere/cleanness, diversity of menu, employees, ingredients and network. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient was +0.6. Thirdly, average of importance of factors was 3.861 while average performance was 3.429. IPA analysis showed that employee(communication, customer contact) in the first quadrant proved the need for fast improvement through training. Atmosphere/cleanness (interior atmosphere, table clean, kitchen cleanliness, clean dishes, interion design) and employee(proficiency, menu recognition), foodstuff(freshness, origin, safety) in the second quadrant showed that the marketing strategy of improvement as well as maintaining current status is needed, including regular training and hygiene inspection. The third quadrant contains facilities(disability, baby, fire protection) and food menu(food packing, various menu, creative menu, menu description), network(village economic links), which showed the need for gradual improvement. The forth quadrant contains network(sights’s near contains. The results so far can be summed into the statement that overcoming the basic functionality of providing meals and linking the restaurant with local attractions and local economy would be need, as well as building up the image of unique farm restaurant with local features, so that Bibijeong can serve as the centerpiece of community and foundation of exchange with other areas.
