        In countries that suffer from heavy rain such as Korea, bridges have to be prepared for a sudden water level increase. However, research on the flood risk assessment for bridges has gained less attention than earthquakes, even though one of the major causes of bridge failures has been reported to be flood. In addition, various sources of uncertainty make it challenging to evaluate the flood fragility of a bridge, and there have been few studies on the flood fragility curve derivation for bridges. The present study proposes a new methodology employing finite element reliability analysis to derive flood fragility curve. In the proposed method, two software packages, ABAQUS and FERUM, are connected so that reliability analysis can be performed in conjunction with sophisticated finite element analysis flood fragility assessment. The method is applied a real bridge in Korea, and flood fragility curves are derived for multiple damage states.

        This study investigated the behavior of newly-developed circular steel girder over bridge. The traditional bridge is a simple span with the maximum span length about 7.0m. The proposed bridge is sequenced by extending a steel tube girder and reducing the number of infrastructure. It can make to improve constructability and save cost. In this study, we conducted a finite element analysis of the behavior of the main part, and aimed to check the compliance of allowable stress.

        본 연구에서는 요철형 이음단면을 갖는 프리캐스트 교량 바닥판 이음부의 정적 휨성능을 예측하기 위한 비선형 유한요소해석 모델 을 구성하였으며, 선행연구에 의한 실험결과와의 비교를 통해 유한요소해석의 적합성을 확인하였다. 유한요소해석 모델을 구성하는 재료특 성으로 각각의 이론을 적용하였으며, 실험결과 및 사전 변수해석을 통해 입력변수들을 결정하여 유한요소해석 모델을 구성하였다. 본 연구에 서 수행된 유한요소해석 결과는 각각의 실험체에 대한 구조적 거동을 평균 5% 이내로 비교적 정확하게 추정하는 것으로 나타났으며, 소성 변 형률 분포로부터 각 실험체의 균열양상 및 파괴형태를 간접적으로 예측할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 사용된 유한요소해석 모델은 향후 프 리캐스트 바닥판 이음부의 극한거동 예측 및 이음부의 설계식 도출을 위한 변수해석 연구 등에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        In this paper, the peak impact factor response spectrum is verified through finite element (FE) analysis using a simply supported bridge. The FE model is a slab bridge designed with 4 m width and 8 m length. The FE analysis is applied on the bridge modeled with 2D frame and 3D solid. By considering 5% damping ratio, the peak impact factors of the FE models and the response spectrum are compared. From the results, a very small difference of about 1.5% is found between the FE models and the response spectrum.

        In this research, we used half model instead of full model in order to consider convergence and analysis running time. We carried out nonlinear analysis on the joints between steel tower to concrete supporting structure of the 5MW offshore wind turbine applying only half of the load on the joint.

        This paper presented to study used Abaqus on steel plate bonded reinforcement technology for column to beam connections, and then the result showed that steel plate bonded reinforcement technology has great reinforcement effect for RC column to beam joint. Also the steel plate bonded reinforcement technology was safety and convenient operation.

        Because significant difference between normal concrete and fiber reinforced ultra-high strength concrete under tension and compression, bond behavior also have significant difference. Based on the finite element analysis of bond test specimens, crack initiation and propagation process were investigated. Analysis results have been validated with test results and crack initiation stress was investigated.

        For the safe design of steel-concrete composite structure, usable yield strength of steels are limited in most of design standard. However, this limitation sometimes cause the uneconomical design for some kind of members such as slender columns which was affected by elastic buckling load. For the economical design for slender columns, parametric study of RCFT (Rectangular CFT) with high-strength steel is conducted, especially investigating the limitation of yield strength of high-strength steels. Using ABAQUS, finite element analysis program, the finite element model was constructed and calibrated with experimental study for RCFT with high strength steel which have yield strength up to 680MPa. Investigated design parameters are yield strength of steel, compressive strength of concrete, steel thickness and slenderness ratio. The effect of desgn parameters were compared with design standard, KBC-09. From the parametric study with 54 models and previous test specimens, RCFT can be safely design with higher yield strength of steels than currently limited by KBC for large range of slenderness ratio.

        콘크리트 구조물은 시간의 경과에 따라 노후화되고, 열악한 외부 환경에 노출되어 부재 및 재료 자체의 성능이 저하된다. 콘크리트 구조물의 유지관리 방안으로 긴장력을 도입한 CFRP 긴장재를 콘크리트 내부의 표면매립(Near Surface Mounted, NSM)하여 구조물의 보수 보강을 위한 연구가 진행 중이다. 기존의 표면매립공법에 대한 연구는 긴장력을 매개변수화 하여 보강성능을 비교하는 연구가 대부분이나 표면매립공법의 파괴거동을 예측할 수 있는 3차원 유한요소해석모델에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 CFRP 긴장재와 콘크리트 부재의 계면 특성을 반영한 3차원 유한요소해석을 통해 포스트 텐션 표면매립공법의 휨 거동을 분석하였다. 또한, 포스트 텐션을 적용한 표면매립공법의 보강성능에 대한 정확한 평가를 위하여 부재단위 실험결과와 제안한 해석모델의 파괴거동을 비교분석하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

        We compared the Load transfer area of the composite column rechargeable through FEM in this study. We compared by the method of comparative analysis of the Abaqus program. Load transfer is easy to position the stud in the same transmission with the load direction, and the stud is to be arranged densely in the FEM is KBC2009 and KBC2013. We serve as resources for establishing a non-diaphragm type filled composite column standard through shear connectors in Load transfer area with this result.

        The purpose of this research is describing the structural behavior of the Head-Splice Sleeve by a finite element analysis. It is consistent with the experimental date that considering the contact element between mortar and structural steel. This paper is trying to propose that the results of analysis method can be used on the future Finite Element Analysis.

        철도차량에 의한 진동은 지반을 통해 주변 지역에 영향을 주고 피로균열등 구조적 손상을 주고 있다. 본 논문은 새롭게 개발된 탄성 스페리컬 받침을 기존 강재스페리컬 받침과의 비교를 통한 진동저감성능에 대해 평가하였다. 탄성스페리컬 받침은 반구형 곡률과 크기를 변경함으로써 현장 여건에 맞는 강성을 구현할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 탄성 스페리컬 받침은 반구형 고무 및 보강판의 적층 받침으로써 성능특성을 확인하기 위해 설계와 해석결과를 비교하고 특성시험을 실시하였다. 또한 진동저감성능 확인을 위해 열차의 실대차 축소모형 시험을실시하였다. 해석적 검증비교를 통한 특성시험에서는 설계하중 500kN 시험체의 압축 및 회전 시험결과 압축보다 회전에 의한 강성 증가가적은 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 압축 및 회전 시험 후 시험체에 외관변형 및 영구적인 손상, 찢어짐 등은 발견되지 않았다. 축소 스케일 진동측정 시험에서는 실대차 모형을 1/50축소하여 교량의 진동을 측정하였다. 그 결과 강재 스페리컬 받침에 비해 탄성 스페리컬 받침의 진동저감능력이 탁월한 것으로 판단되며, 거리별 진동감쇠 성능도 높은 것으로 확인되어 탄성스페리컬 받침의 철도교 적용 시 진동저감효과가우수할 것으로 판단된다. 향 후 실제 철도교량에서의 현장실험을 통해 성능을 검증할 계획이다.

        자갈궤도의 강도증진 및 유지보수비 절감을 위한 급속경화궤도는 자갈궤도에 모르타르를 충진하여 시공되며 양생되는 과정에서 온도변화에 의한 인장응력이 발생한다. 콘크리트층의 인장응력은 주변 온도변화에 의해 주기적으로 발생하게 되며, 온도응력이 작용한 상태에서 교통하중에 의한 인장응력이 짧은 시간동안 추가적으로 발생하게 된다. 따라서 콘크리트의 허용휨인장응력은 콘크리트의 피로강도로 산정해야한다. 현재 콘크리트포장 및 매스콘크리트에 발생하는 온도응력에 관한 연구는 다양하게 이루어져 왔으나, 급속경화궤도 시공과정 및 특이성을 고려한 온도응력 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소해석을 통해 급속경화궤도 충진층-지면 사이의 마찰력과 콘크리트에 발생하는 온도응력간의 경향을 파악하고, 급속경화궤도 충진층의 허용휨인장응력을 산정하는 모델을 제시한다.

        Generally, bolted connection was used in stainless steel structural basic design for stainless steel bolted connection is similar to that of carbon steel connection. However, stainless steel with high ductility can be more beneficial if the mechanical characteristics are well used. Experimental and analysis studies had conducted. Curling was observed in some specimens with a relatively long end distance and affected strength reduction of bolted connection. Besides, finite element model had developed and its validation was verified through comparison with test results. In this paper, parametric analysis was performed using proven FE model. Key variables are the end distance and plate thickness of bolted connection. Ultimate strength and curling effect were also investigated.

        On this study, the laboratory model test is a soil tanker to be contained with clay and grid form improved soil, the test model is conducted in total 9case with the uniaxial compressive strength of improved soil and replacement ratio of improved soil. Numerical analysis for variation of stress distribution ratio with depth is performed in the same conditions which are the laboratory model test. As a result, stress distribution ratios in mid and high replacement ratio are increasing and settlement is decreasing, except low replacement ratio. This study is presented for form effect ratio and settlement reduction factor with change of structure form, it is able to be helpful in further research and reference for change of structural forms at composite ground.

        For coupled shear walls, coupling beams are the first line of dissipation under earthquakes. So coupling beams are important energy dissipation component. When coupling beams have little depth-to-span ratio, routine coupling beams have less capacity of energy dissipation.There are less design methods for coupling beams with depth-to-span less than 2. In this paper a specimen with steel plate reinforcement coupling beam was designed and analyzed by means of FEM software ABAQUS.

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the seismic performance of high-performance steel. For this study, the hysteretic behavior and deformation shape of steel beam-to-column connections with SM570TMC was investigated using non-linear finite element analysis. The non-linear finite element analysis was carried out using ANSYS. The displacement analysis of steel beam-to-column connections was conducted according to the qualifying procedures of current korean building code(KBC2009).
