인슐린 저항성이 발생된 흰쥐 골격근에서 n-3 다불포화지방산이 당수송에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 연구한 본 논문을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 5주간의 식이에 의한 각군간의 유의한 체중 변화는 없었다. 5주간의 고지방식이에 의하여 혈당은 정상식이군의 83mg/dl에 비하여 94mg/dl로 13% 더 증가하였다(p<0.05). n-3 다불포화지방산에 의하여서는 혈당의 유의적 감소는 없었으나 다소 감소하였다. 혈장 인슐린은 정상식이군의 11.6U/ml에 비하여 고지방식이군은 32.4U/ml로 높았으며(p<0.01), n-3 다불포화지방산에 의하여 28.7U/ml로 감소하였다(p<0.01). 가자미근의 당수송은 시험관 실험에서 고지방식이군이 정상식이군에 비하여 기초상태 뿐만아니라 인슐린 1, 10, 100nM에서도 현저히 감소하여(p<0.01) 인슐린 감수성과 반응도 모두 감소한 인슐린 저항성을 보여 주었다. 고지방식이군에 n-3 다불포화지방산의 첨가시 고지방식이군에 비하여 기초상태, 인슐린 1, 10, 100nM에서 유의하게(p<0.01) 증가하였으나 정상군의 그것에는 미치지 못하였다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 보아 5주간의 고지방식이시 당수송에 장애와 골격근의 인슐린 저항성이 발견되었으며, 고지방식이에 n-3 다불포화지방산의 첨가에 의해서 골격근 인슐린 저항성의 정도가 억제되므로 고지방식이에 의한 인슐린 저항성은 n-3 다불포화지방산이 효과적으로 예방이 가능할 것으로 생각되었다.

경기도농업기술원에서 2012년도에 개발한 ‘Dream Prince’ 품종은 분홍색 홑꽃형 스프레이 국화 ‘Grand Pink’ 품종을 모본(♀)으로 하고 분홍색 홑꽃형 스프레이 국화 ‘Classy’ 품종을 부본(♂)으로 2009년에 교배하여 육성되었다. 2009년에 실생을 양성한 후 2010년부터 2012년까지 자연, 촉성, 억제작형별 1～3차 특성검정을 통해 개화특성과 기호도가 우수한 GCS09-39-3(Gyeongkyo B1-19) 계통을 최종 선발하여 ‘Dream Prince’로 명명하였다. 2013년 1월 31일에 국립종자원에 품종보호출원(출원 2013-80)하고 2014년 3월 19일에 품종보호권이 등록되었다(등록번호 제 4876호). ‘Dream Prince’ 품종은 진한 노란색 꽃잎을 가진 홑꽃형 스프레이 형태의 절화용 품종으로 개화 소요일수가 48일인 조기 개화성 품종이다. 착화수는 19.6개로 대비품종보다 2.8개 더 많이 피고, 꽃잎수는 29매로 대비품종에 비해 3.7매 많으며, 줄기 굵기는 7.4 mm로 대비품종에 비해 1.7 mm 굵어 튼튼하고, 절화장은 98.6 cm로 대비품종 84.7 cm에 비해 13.9 cm정도 자람성이 우수한 특징이 있다. 겨울철 전조재배와 여름철 차광재배에서도 특성이 균일하게 발현하여 주년재배가 가능하였다.

‘Summer Red’ 품종은 경기도농업기술원에서 2012년도에 육성한 절화용 장미 신품종이다. 이 품종은 2007년도에 화색이 밝은 적색인 스탠다드 장미 ‘Cardinal’을 종자친으로 하고 적색 대형 스탠다드 장미 ‘Fire Fox’를 화분친으로 교배하여 2008년도에 실생을 양성하였다. 화색과 화형이 우수한 54계통을 예비선발 하였으며 2010부터 2012년까지 1, 2, 3차 특성검정과 품평회 결과 절화특성이 우수한 GR07-106-27계통(GyeongGyo D1-33)을 최종 선발하였다. 화색은 적색(RHS Color Chart Red Group 44B)이다. 스탠다드 형태로 개화하고 화형은 반고심형이다. 화폭은 12.3 cm이며 화고가 5.5 cm이고 꽃잎수는 46.7매이며 향기는 약한 편이다. 개화소요일수는 평균 51일이며 엽색은 녹색(RHS Color Chart Green Group 139A)이며 엽 광택은 중간이고 줄기의 가시 발생 정도는 적다. 흰가루병에 강한 편이고 년간 절화수량은 168.4 본/m2이고 절화장은 82.4 cm이며 줄기직경은 6.9 mm이고 절화중이 38.4 g이다. 엽수는 11.8매이며 절화수명은 11.1일이다.

‘My City’는 경기도농업기술원에서 2010년도에 육성한 분화용 국화 신품종으로 2006년도에 분홍색에 흰색이 혼합된 복색 분화용 국화 ‘Fabienna’ 품종을 모본으로 하고, 적색 중륜형 분화용 국화 ‘Redwing’ 품종을 부본으로 교배하여 얻었다. 이 품종은 빨간색과 노란색이 어우러진 복색의 분화용 품종으로 20 cm이상의 긴 초장을 가지며 꽃의 직경도 5 cm이상인 홑꽃형이다. 2008～2010년까지 춘계 촉성재배와 동계 억제재배를 포함한 특성검정을 수행 하였으며, 자연개화기는 10월 26일이며, 전조재배와 차광재배로 개화조절이 용이한 주년재배 품종이다. 화경은 56.0 mm, 착화수는 본당13.4화이고 꽃잎수는 26.2매이다. 엽색은 녹색(RHS Green Group 137A)이고 줄기색도 녹색(RHS Green Group 138B)인 이 계통은 2010년 11월 ‘경교 B1-13’ 으로 부여하고 2010년 12월 농작물 직무육성 심의회를 거쳐 ‘마이시티’로 명명 하였다. ‘마이시티’는 흰녹병 저항성 검정시 약하게 발병되었고 기호도는 높았다. ‘My City’는 연중 개화가 균일하며 독특한 화색에 분화로서 적합한 초장과 분지성을 가지고 있어 연중생산과 내수용 판매에 적합한 품종이다.

A new cultivars Dendranthema grandiflourm ‘Dream River’ was developed at Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research ＆ Extension Services(GARES),Korea in 2010. The cultivar ‘Dream River’ was crossed in 2007 between ‘Geumsu’, a spray cultivar with yellow single type, and ‘Crangball’, a spray cultivar with pink single type. Trials were conducted from 2008 to 2011 for evaluations and selection of this variety, including a shading culture in summer and a retarding culture in autumn. The natural flowering time of ‘Dream River’ was late October, and year-round flowering is possible by shading or lighting treatment. After the test of specific characters from 2009 to 2011, it was finally selected and named. The cultivar has an single type flowers with ivory petals and a green flower center. The diameter of flower is 56.0mm. Numbers of flowrs per stem and petals per flower are 15.2 and 26.5, respectively. Days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 53 days in the four season. The cultivar ‘Dream River’ has ivory petal with 7.5weeks to flowering under the short day treatment.

A new rose variety, ‘Love Letter’ was selected from the progenies of a cross between ‘Red Giant’ and ‘Ensemble’ by rose breeding team of the Gyeonggi-Do Agricultural Research and Extension Services(GARES) in 2011. ‘Love Letter’ was crossed in 2007 and seedlings were produced. After the test of specific characters from 2008 to 2011, it was finally selected and named. ‘Love Letter’ was developed because of distinctive characters such as growth uniformity and high yielding potential. A standard type with large sized flower, It has red(Red Group 46A) color flower. ‘Love Letter’ takes 43 days from pruning to blooming and cut flower productivity was 152 stems/m2 in a year. The stems of cut flower have no thorn and the length was long with 70.5 cm. It has 9.3 cm in flower diameter and 32.4 in petal numbers per flower. Vase life of the this cultivar could be as long as 12 days.

A new rose variety, ‘Venus Berry’ was selected from the progenies of a cross between ‘Boy Friend’ and ‘GSR10315’ by rose breeding team of the Gyeonggi-Do Agricultural Research and Extension Services(GARES) in 2011. ‘Venus Berry’ was crossed in 2007 and seedlings were produced. After the test of specific characters from 2008 to 2011, it was finally selected and named. ‘Venus Berry’ was developed because of distinctive characters such as growth uniformity and high yielding potential. The petal of flower is so thick and has no scratch. A standard type with large sized flower, it has light pink(Red Purple Group 69C) color flower. ‘Venus Berry’ takes 45 days from pruning to blooming and cut flower productivity was 194.1 stems/m2 in a year. The length of cut flower was long with 65.5 cm. It has 10.2 cm in flower diameter and 43.6 in petal numbers per flower. Vase life of the this cultivar could be as long as 12 days.

The natural flowering time of ‘My Bear’ was early November, and year-round flowering is possible by shading or lighting treatment. After the test of specific characters from 2009 to 2011, it was finally selected and named. The cultivar has an semi-decorative type flowers with white petals and a yellow center when full flowering. The diameter of flower is 36.0mm. Numbers of flowrs per stem and petals per flower are 22.2 and 106.3, respectively. Days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 56 days in the four season. The cultivar ‘My Bear’ has white petal with 8.0weeks to flowering under the short day treatment.

A new rose variety, was selected from the progenies of a cross between “osai”and “okimeky”in 2006 after evaluation trials for three years (2004-2006). “altz”was developed because of many petals and powdery mildew resistance. A standard type with large sized flower, “altz”shows in 11.0 cm flower diameter. “altz”produces 130 stems･m-2 in a year. It has red-white color flower and 49.6 petals per flower. The stem length of cut flower was long with 69.3 cm. Vase life of the variety could be as long as 9.6 days.
