        본 연구는 저염분 상태에서 수온 및 사육밀도와 같은 환경요인이 흰다리새우(Litopenaeus vannamei)의 성장에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 흰다리새우는 저 염분 상태에서 전반적으로 수온이 높을수록 생존율이 높게 나타났고, 사육밀도가 낮을수록 생 존율이 높아졌다. 사료효율에 관한 연구에서는 수온이 높을수록 증체량(WG)이 증가하였고, 사 육밀도가 증가할수록 증체량은 감소하였다. 수온이 높을수록(수온 31℃) 성장 속도가 빨랐다. 또한 사육밀도에 따른 성장도의 평가에서도 사육밀도가 낮은 상태에서 성장 속도가 빨라지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과를 흰다리새우의 최적 성장을 위한 적정 사육밀도 및 사육수온 의 결정에 유용하게 적용되리라 사료된다.

        본 연구는 수온, 염분, 사육밀도 및 혼합 먹이생물 공급량과 같은 환경요인이 왕우럭 Tresus keenae의 유생사육 시 생존 및 발생에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 왕우럭 유생사육의 최적 조건은 수온 20℃에서 24℃, 염분 30 psu, 사육밀도 1 ml당 5개체 및 먹이생물 I. galbana, C. simplex 및 T. suecica 혼합 공급량 10×104 세포/ml이였다. 본 연구 결과 를 통해 밝혀진 왕우럭 유생 최적의 사육 환경요인은 빠른 성장 및 높은 생존을 통해 생산성 향상에 기여하리라 생각된다.

        For the effective seedling production of the hard shelled mussel, Mytilus coruscus, this study assessed the effects of the dietary value of live food, density, water temperature and salinity on growth and survival rate of the larvae. The optimal survival rate and growth rate were examined under differing conditions of water temperature, salinity, and rearing density for 30 days. The three groups were provided different feeding organisms, such as Isochrysis galbana and Teleaulax suecica. The mixtures were provided at a rate of 5×104 cell mL-1. The best growth was observed in the group with conditions 21℃ water temperature (16.2±9.1 μm), 33 psu of salinity (16.82±3.9 μm), 2500 individual m-2 (17.2±5.9 μm), and fed with 5×104 cell mL-1 of I. galbana and T. suecica mixture (16.0±7.3 μm). The highest survival rate was found in the group at conditions 18℃ water temperature (66.4%), 33 psu of salinity (24.4%), 2500 individual m-2 (65.8%), and fed with 5×104 cell mL-1 of I. galbana and T. suecica mixture (58.8%). We therefore conclude that the suitable culture conditions for the stable production of hard shelled mussel artificial seedlings was at 18 to 21℃ of temperature, 30 to 33 psu of salinity, 2500 to 5000 individual m-2 of rearing density, and feeding supplement of 5×104 cell mL-1 of I. galbana and T. suecica mixture under semi running water system.

        The heat shock proteins (Hsps), one of the most highly conserved groups of proteins, play crucial roles in protecting cells against environmental stressors, such as temperature, salinity, heavy metals and pathogenic bacteria. The glutathione S-transferases (GST) have important role in detoxification of oxidative damage, environmental chemicals and environmental stress. The purpose of this study is to investigate the gene expression of Hsp70 and GST on change of temperature and salinity in Mytilus coruscus. The M. coruscus was cultured in incubator of separate temperature and salinity (8, 20, 30℃×20‰, 25‰, 30‰) for 28 days. Ten individuals in each group were selected after each 14 and 28 days exposure. Results that the expression of Hsp70 mRNA was no significant changed in M. coruscus exposed to temperature (8℃, 20℃, 30℃) and salinity (20‰, 25‰, 30‰) for 14 days. Whereas the expression of Hsp70 mRNA was increased in exposure to temperature 30℃ and salinity (20‰, 25‰, 30‰) for 28 days. The expression of GST mRNA was increased in exposure to temperature 30℃, salinity (25‰, 30‰) for 14 days and temperature (8℃, 20℃, 30℃), salinity (20‰, 25‰, 30‰) for 28 days. These results suggest that Hsp70 and GST were played roles in biomarker gene on the thermal and salinity stress.

        The Apostichopus japonicus is an important species in some Asia countries including Korea, China and Japan. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the differential gene expression of heat shock protein90 (Hsp90) and ferritin as a biomarker for the thermal stress during water temperature rising in the sea cucumber, A. japonicus. The A. japonicus (1.4 g) was cultured in incubator of separate temperature (15°C, 20°C, 25°C and 30°C) for each 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours. The mRNA expression levels of Hsp90 and ferritin were examined using RT-PCR assay. Results showed that, the expression of Hsp90 mRNA was not significantly changed at 15°C. The expression of Hsp90 mRNA was significantly increased at high temperature such as 20°C and 25°C. Furthermore, Hsp90 mRNA was early increased at 25°C than 20°C. The ferritin mRNA was similar expression pattern with Hsp90. But, Hsp90 mRNA was more sensitive than ferritin mRNA at high thermal stress. These results indicate that Hsp90 and ferritin mRNAs were involved in the temperature changes response and may be play an important role in mediating the thermal stress in A. japonicas.

        In this study, the structural analysis for bellows joint of high-performance that can enhance the performance of seismic isolation piping was performed. Bellows joint is that the corrugated flexible piping is connected at the both sides of elbow. An one axis of the bellows joint fixed, and the other end of the axis changes the position from 0° to 315° for the radius displacement of 500 mm. Results obtained are as follows for this case in analysing of the maximum stress and plastic strain of the bellows joint. As the location of the base isolation displacement get farther from the fixed pipe, the bellows joint is pulled, and the maximum stress and plastic deformation is increased. And so the maximum stress occurs near the bellows at both ends of the elbow. Displacement in the 135° position, a maximum stress of 837 MPa and a plastic strain of 3.00% was the highest.

        본 연구는 외식산업을 대상으로 6시그마에서 사용하는 프로세스 개선의 접근방식과 그 통계적 기법을 활용하여, 고객만족의 핵심요인 중의 하나인 음식 맛의 일관성을 구현하는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는, 프로세스 개선을 위한 6시그마 로드맵 DMAIC(Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) 방식을 사용하였고, 연구대상은 단체급식에서 사용하는 특정 메뉴를 중심으로 하였고, 관련 데이터는 해당 기업에서 실험한 자료와 전문가 집단을 대상으로 한 Brainstorming, Matrix 분석기법, 그리고 상관분석과 t-test 등을 통해 특정메뉴(돈육고추장볶음)의 조리작업에 필요한 구성요소 -식재료 및 조리방법-를 제시하고 이들 중에서 가장 적합한 맛을 만들기 위한 최적의 조합을 도출한 결과, 해당메뉴의 양념을 구성하는 마늘, 고춧가루, 참기름의 구성비가 제시되었다. 이 외에도 조리방식과 비용 측면에서도 최적의 조건을 도출함으로써 음식 맛의 개선과 품질관리의 일관성 방안이 제시되었다.

        This study was conducted to identify the factors that correlated with food consumption frequency and perceptions of attributes for food selection. The purpose of this study was to improve menu's quality which is related to the food consumption frequency. Taste health and cost perceptions were chosen as the main factors of foods selection from the former related researches. There were differences in foods perception and consumption patterns according to gender. For both of female and male consumers, taste perceptions were highly correlated with consumption of most of foods. Finally, some recommendations which should be considered to correct or improve the quality of menu.

        This study attempted to examine the profitability and marketing costs of seed potato under contract farming system of BADC (Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation) with the help of primary and secondary data. Total 45 contract farmers were randomly selected. Attempts were made to calculate costs, returns and profitability of seed potato production under contract farming system, and to identify marketing channels of seed potato. The field level data were collected by a farm survey during the months of April 2005 through direct interviews with contract farmers and registered dealers using a structure survey questionnaire. The results showed that the gross return per hectare was Tk. 252,464 for all categories of farms. Cost of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation and human labor were critical inputs for profitability of seed potato. Cobb-Douglas production function analysis was used to determine the effects of the key variables to seed potato production under contract farming system. The elasticity of seed potato production was at 0.727 for all categories of farms. The findings exhibited that the summation of elasticity of different inputs for seed potato production was less than one, implying that the production function exhibited decreasing returns to scale. Registered dealers and Upazila Sales Centers were involved in seed potato marketing formed a straightforward marketing channel. The total marketing costs of registered dealers were Tk. 759.49 per ton of seed potato. The net marketing margin of registered dealers was estimated at Tk. 465.51 per ton of seed potato. The selected contract farmers and registered dealers faced a number of problems and some of recommendations were suggested.
