In a sheet metal forming process, fracture and wrinkle are the most difficult task in new parts launching. The variation in process condition generates the fracture and wrinkle fluctuation. The fracture and wrinkle are very sensitive to the process conditions, then the main effects of the design variables cannot be obtained from the standard mean analysis. Therefore, in order to minimize the fracture and wrinkle in parts of automobile, a special method to counterpart is required. In this study, a new design method to achieve the optimal in the sheet metal forming process is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed methods is shown with an example of the parts of fracture and wrinkle.
In August 2003, the water quality of offshore waters along the Incheon coast of Korea was evaluated by biological evaluation using gametes, embryos and early development systems of a starfish species (Asterina pectinifera). As the result of performing bio
This study was carried out to evaluate off-shore water quality and to draw marine pollution map to Southern sea in Korea by bioassay using gametes and early development system of Asterias amurensis. From the bioassay, it was determined that the water qualites of Southern sea maintained the grade Ⅱ, because development of A. amurensis were moderately inhibited. However, Sunchon, Kwangyang, and Jinhae Bay belonged to grade Ⅲ, because development of A. amurensis were strongly inhibited. This could be due to the inflows of several river systems and poor water circulation.
The water quality at Yosu island was the grade I, because A. amurensis were not inhibited in its early development.
