        본 연구에서는 고지방·고콜레스테롤 식이 흰쥐에서 황칠 열수추출물에 의한 간 조직에서의 과산화 손상의 조절과 혈중 지질조성에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 실험군으로 정상 식이군(N), 고지방·고콜 레스테롤 식이군(HF), 고지방·고콜레스테롤 식이+5% 황칠 열수추출물 첨가군(DA), 고지방·고콜레 스테롤 식이+10% 황칠 열수추출물 첨가군(DB)으로 나누어 4주간 사육하였다. 체중은 N군에 비해 HF 군에서 유의적으로 증가했으며, HF군에 비해 DA 및 DB군에서 감소하였다. 식이섭취량은 모든 군에서 유의적인 변화를 나타내지 않았다. 식이효율은 N군에 비해 HF군에서 유의적으로 증가하였고, 황칠 열 수추출물의 공급으로 인한 유의한 차이는 볼 수 없었다. 산화단백질의 함량은 간 조직의 mitochondria 및 microsome에서 N군에 비해 HF군에서 증가되어졌으나 황칠 열수추출물의 공급으로 유의적으로 감 소되었다. 간 조직의 과산화지질 함량은 N군에 비해 HF군에서 유의적으로 증가되어졌으나, DA 및 DB 군에서 유의적으로 감소되어졌다. 혈중 콜레스테롤은 N군에 비해 HF군에서 유의적으로 증가하였으며, DA 및 DB군에서 HF군에 비해 유의적이지는 않았지만 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 혈청 HDL-콜레스 테롤은 HF군에 비해 DA 및 DB군에서 N군 수준으로 증가하였고, 특히 DB군에서 HF군에 비해 유의적 으로 증가하였다. LDL-콜레스테롤 및 AI는 DA 및 DB군에서 N군 수준으로 감소하였다. 혈당의 함량은 HF군에 비해 DB군에서 유의적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 황칠 열수추출 물은 간 조직의 산화단백질 및 과산화지질의 감소와 더불어 혈중 지질조성의 조절에도 효과적으로 작용 되어 질 수 있음을 시사하였다.

        Acoustic target strength (TS) measurement and theoretical acoustic scattering models were applied to estimate the TS for assessing the fish biomass. TS measurement was made of ex situ sailfin sandfish Arctoscopus japonicus at 70 and 120 kHz, and then compared to backscatter model prediction. The live sandfish was tethered in seawater using monofilament lines. Measurements were made versus incidence angle, −50° to 50° relative to dorsal aspect directions. Distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) model was used to calculated TS pattern. The TS values of sandfish (body length: 16.2 cm) at 70 and 120 kHz were ‒66.94 dB and ‒64.45 dB, respectively, and were about 20 dB lower than TS of other fishes in Korea waters. These TS levels were distributed within the range of the theoretical TS. Ex situ measurement and theoretical TS may be applied to improve acoustical detection and biomass estimation of the sandfish, and is necessary to measure with various lengths.

        Pacific herring Clupea pallasii eggs were attached to the gill net in Korean coastal waters off Busan. To conservation and management the eggs attached to the gill net, we followed the natural hatching in coastal waters from five days after fertilization to the hatching finished, where the temperature was 9°C. The diameter of fertilized eggs was 1.24–1.55 mm (n= 50), and had a segmented pale yellow yolk, no oil globule. Natural hatching had started by 10 days after fertilization. Mass hatching occurred around 11–12 days after fertilization, most of eggs separated from the gill net. Therefore, when the Pacific herring eggs attached in gill net, should be natural hatching–induced in coastal waters during 12–14 days.

        The Commission for Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) is utilized to manage krill resources using acoustic data collection and a scientific observer program operating on the fishing boats. However, the acoustic data were contained seriously noise, example of background, spike, and intermittent noise, due to purpose of fish boats. In this study, the noise removal techniques were confirmed the potential of the acoustic data analysis. Acoustic system and frequency used in the survey were commercial echosounder (ES70, SIMRAD) and 200 kHz split beam transducer. Acoustic data were analyzed using Echoview software (Myriax), and general data analysis and new noise removal method was used. Although a variety of noise, most of the noises have been removed using the noise removal processing. We confirmed the possibility of analyzing the acoustic data obtained from fish boats. The results will be useful for analysis of the acoustic data acquired from krill fishing boats.

        Monthly variations of cirriped larvae near Oryuk islets off Busan were investigated at four stations from January 2012 to January 2013. Zooplankton was vertically collected, using NORPAC net (mouth 45 cm, mesh 200 μm), from the surface to 1 m above the bottom. 12 species belong to five genera of 4 families were identified including one unidentified species. Cirriped larvae occupied small portion of total zooplankton, ranging 0.02 to 4.1% of total zooplankton densities. The densities varied monthly from 1 inds.m-3 to 715.1 inds.m-3, which was highest in September and lowest in February. Chthamalus challengeri, Balanus glanula, B. improbisus, B. nubilus and Octomeris sulcata were dominant species and accounted for 70.1% of total cirriped larvae. Larval densities of cirripeds between stations were not significantly different (F=0.237, p=0.870). The larval communities were grouped into two groups by cluster analysis. We discussed the distribution patterns of cirriped larvae in relation to oceanographic characteristics in the study area.

        본 연구에서는 조릿대의 열수추출물과 에탄올추출물간의 항산화 및 항염증 활성을 비교하기 위해 100~2500 μg/ml의 조릿대의 농도를 이용하여 in vitro 실험으로 관찰하였다. DPPH radical 소거능은 열수추출물(2.27~80.71%)과 에탄올추출물(26.97~83.59%)에서 모두 농도 의존적으로 높아졌으며 에탄올추출물은 열수추출물에 비해 유의적으로 더 높은 소거능을 나타내었다. ABTS radical 소거능을 비교한 결과는 열수추출물에서 12.17~90.53%, 에탄올추출물에서는 13.69~82.73%로 농도 의존적으로 높은 소거 활성을 나타내었으나 용매에 따른 큰 차이는 보이지 않았다. 환원력은 열수추출물에서 0.105~0.768, 에탄올 추출물에서 0.097~0.808의 활성을 보였으며, 농도가 높아질수록 에탄올추출물이 열수추출물에 비해 더 높은 활성이 나타났다. NO radical 소거능은 열수추출물에서 46.62~68.74%, 에탄올추출물에서 27.48~65.28%의 활성을 나타내었다. 조릿대 추출물의 IC50값을 비교한 결과 DPPH, ABTS radical 및 NO radical에서 각각 열수추출물에서 1211.2 μg/ml, 410.5 μg/ml 및 228.1 μg/ml로 나타났고, 에탄올추출물의 경우에는 529.4 μg/ml, 300.2 μg/ml 및 461.3 μg/ml로 나타났다. DPPH와 ABTS는 에탄올추출물이 높게 나타났고, NO radical은 열수추출물에서 더 높은 IC50값을 보였다. 총 페놀 함량은 열수추출물에서 41.27 mg/g 그리고 에탄올추출물에서 41.46 mg/g의 함량을 관찰하였고, 용매간의 차이는 볼 수 없었으나 플라보노이드 함량에서는 열수추출물(21.45 mg/g)에 비해 에탄올추출물(29.50 mg/g)이 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 항염증을 관찰하기 위한 SLO를 측정한 결과는 열수추출물에서 45.94~176.6% 그리고 에탄올추출물에서 70.83~190.8%의 감소율을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 조릿대의 용매에 따른 추출물은 항산화 및 항염증의 효과를 나타내는 실험 모두에서 높은 활성을 나타내었으므로 항산화와 항염증을 개선시킬 수 있는 효과적인 천연식품으로 이용되어 질 수 있으리라 기대되어진다.

        Community structures and species composition in benthic crustacean around Oryukdo of Busan was investigated using a SCUBA diving in 2011. A total 115 species, 51 families, and 4 taxa were collected during the sampling periods. Species were included 52 species in amphipoda, 49 in decapoda, 8 in isopoda and 6 in thoracica. On cluster analysis, the benthic crustacea community was classified into three groups based on the species composition: group A occurred in spring, group B in autumn and winter and group C in summer. Species composition in benthic crustacean corresponded with the water temperature.

        본 연구는 소셜커머스의 구매속성과 만족도, 재구매 의도 와의 인과관계를 밝히기 위해 소셜커머스를 이용하여 음식 점과 식품 구매 경험이 있는 여자 대학생을 대상으로 설문조 사를 수행하였다, 여대생들의 소셜커머스 구매속성 파악을 통 해 소셜커머스 산업에 마케팅적 시사점을 제공하고, 긍정적 발전을 모색하고자 하였다. 총 370부를 배포하여 부실 응답 19부를 제외한 총 351부가 분석 자료로 사용되었으며, 6개월 이내 음식점과 식품 구매 경험이 있는 183부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 일반사항, 소셜커머스 이용 실태, 소셜커머스 구 매 속성, 만족도, 그리고 재구매 의도를 조사하였다. 일주일 에 매일 또는 주 2~6회 방문하는 학생이 115명(62.9%)으로 나타났으며, 한 달에 2~3회 구매하는 학생이 91명(49.7%), 인 터넷 서핑 도중 배너 광고를 통해서 78명(42.6%)이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 145명(79.2%)이 스마트폰으로 소셜커 머스를 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 여대생들이 소셜커머스를 이용하여 음식점과 식품 구매 시 영향을 미치는 8개 요인을 추출하였고, 각 요인은 “지각된 가치”, “제품의 다양성 및 정보”, “배송”, “구매의 간편성”, “사이트 속성”, “가격 경쟁력”, “시간압박”, “실시간 정보”로 나타났다. 만족도에는 지각된 가치 β=0.300(t=4.139, p<0.001), 가격 경쟁력 β=0.275(t=4.523, p<0.001), 제품의 다양성 및 정보 β=0.145(t=2.434, p<0.05), 배 송 β=0.165(t=0.319, p<0.05), 사이트 속성 β=0.138(t=2.144, p<0.05) 의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 소셜커머스 구매 속성 중 지각된 가치 β=0.304(t=4.080, p<0.001), 가격 경쟁력 β=0.208(t=3.335, p<0.001), 시간압박 β=0.181(t=3.449, p<0.05), 사이트 속성 β=0.196(t=2.956, p<0.01) 순으로 재구매에 영향 을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 소셜커머스 이용 만족도는 β= 0.761(t=15.768, p<0.001)로 재구매 의도에 유의한 영향을 미 치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 볼 때, 소셜커머스 시장이 확대되고 있는 시점에서 인터넷과 스마트폰 사용 능력이 좋은 여대생들이 소셜커머스 시장에서의 큰 잠재 고객일 것으로 사료된다. 이 에 소셜커머스 업체들은 이들의 만족과 재구매률을 높이기 위해 영향을 미친 요인들을 강화하고, 영향을 미치지 않았던 요인들을 분석하고 활용하여 만족과 재이용률을 향상시켜야 하겠다. 향후 연구에서는 여자 대학생들의 소셜커머스 구매 속성에 영향을 미치는 다양한 조절변수를 이용한 추가적인 연구가 수행되어야 하겠다.

        This study investigated the knowledge, attitude, and behavior of 280 University students towards nutrition labels. The purpose of the study was to examine knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of university students regarding nutrition labeling, and whether body mass index (BMI) with nutrition labeling was associated with knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. Descriptive statistics analyzed knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of university students regarding food labeling. The ANOVA and χ2 analysis was evaluated and assessed for its relationship with BMI. Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis examined relationships between knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. More than 90 percent of answers relating to 11 nutritional knowledge questions were correct. Only 30% of participants answered correctly regarding questions about plan source oil and cholesterol content. Attitudes and behaviors of nutrition labels were significantly higher among participants who were obese (p<0.001). Knowledge score was positively correlated with general label usage behavior (r=.169, p<0.01), and item buying behavior (r=0.142, p<0.05). Attitude also was positively correlated with behavior (p<0.01). Nutrition labeling education efforts are needed to provide university students with a nutritional education program and information on how to read nutritional labels and apply this information to their lives. University students need to understand their need for numerous nutrients instead of merely focusing on the fat and calories of foods.

        To manage, sort, and grade fishery resources, it is necessary to measure their morphometric characteristics. This labor-intensive task involves performing repetitive operations on land and on a research vessel. To reduce the amount of labor required, a vision-based automatic measurement system (VAMS) for the measurement of morphometric characteristics of flatfish, such as total length (TL), body width (BW), and body height (BH), has been developed as part of a database management system for fishery resources management. This system can also measure the mass (M) of flatfish. In the present study, we describe a morphological image processing algorithm for the measurement of certain characteristics of flatfish. This algorithm, which involves preprocessing, edge pattern matching, and edge point detection, is effective in cases where the flatfish being measured has a deformed tail and is randomly oriented. The satisfactory performance of the proposed algorithm is also demonstrated by means of experiments involving the measurement of the BW, TL and BH of a flatfish when it is straightened (BW : 117mm, TL : 329mm, BH : 24.5mm), when its tail is deformed, and when it is randomly oriented.

        한강 하구 해역에서 2010년 4월부터 2011년 11월까지 총 9회에 걸쳐 출현한 생물은 5 분류군 61과 126종이었다. 갑각류는 18과 34종, 두족류는 3과 5종, 어류는 35과 79종으로 분류되었으며, 그 외 종단위로 분류되지 않은 자포동물류인 해파리류와 포유류에 속하는 상괭이가 출현하였다. 한강 하구 해역의 출현종의 대부분은 어류와 갑각류로 구성되었다. 연구기간동안 주된 우점 종은 그라비새우, 꽃게, 밀새우, 갯가재 등이었으며, 어류로는 웅어와 싱어이었다. 우점한 6종에 대한 체장조성 및 평균체장을 살펴보면, 하나 이상의 체장모드를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 하나 이상의 모드를 가지는 것은 한강 해역에 출현하는 종들이 일정시기 또는 일생동안 한강 하구 해역에서 서식하며, 산란장 또는 성육장으로 이용하고 있다는 것을 반영한다. 한강 하구 해역중 강과 가장 가까운 정점인 더리미에서는 민물어류가 출현하였으며, 홍수 등 담수의 대량 방류 시기와 조사 시기가 일치하는 경우에 민물어류가 하구 해역에서 채집되는 것으로 생각된다. 연도별 정점별 종조성을 이용하여 주성분분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 종조성은 조사시기별 정점별 차이를 나타내었다.

        Seasonal variation in species composition and abundance of fish assemblage in the north coast (NC: Ayajin) and central coast (CC: Hupo) of the East Sea were calculated using samples collected by trammel net during 2011-2012. A total of 20 species from NC and 17 species from CC were collected. Of the fishes collected, the dominant fish species were Glyptocephalus stelleri and Careproctus rastrinus in the NC, and Dasycottus setiger and G. stelleri in the CC. These 2 fishes accounted for 71.7% and 81.0% of the total number of individuals collected in the NC and CC, respectively. The number of fish species, number of individuals, biomass and species diversity indices fluctuated with the seasons. The cluster analysis and non-metric multidimensional scaling (MDS) based on Bray-Curtis similarity revealed that the fish assemblages classified into north and central groups. Analysis of similarity percentages of species contributions (SIMPER) indicated that most individual of G. stelleri and Gadus macrocephalus contributed to north group, and D. setiger and G. stelleri in central group, whereas 15 species contributed to 90% of the dissimilarity.

        Using artificial neural network (ANN) technique, auction prices for common mackerel were forecasted with the daily total sale and auction price data at the Busan Cooperative Fish Market before introducing Total Allowable Catch (TAC) system, when catch data had no limit in Korea. Virtual input data produced from actual data were used to improve the accuracy of prediction and the suitable neural network was induced for the prediction. We tested 35 networks to be retained 10, and found good performance network with regression ratio of 0.904 and determination coefficient of 0.695. There were significant variations between training and verification errors in this network. Ideally, it should require more training cases to avoid over-learning, which leads to improve performance and makes the results more reliable. And the precision of prediction was improved when environmental factors including physical and biological variables were added. This network for prediction of price and catch was considered to be applicable for other fishes.

Gonadosomatic index began to increase in December, and reached maximum between January to March. After spawning it began to decrease from May. Reproductive season was estimated to January-April, with peak in February. Fecundity was proportional to the size of the female, with the clutch size varying from 170,000 eggs in the smallest female (total length, 28.9cm) to 1,300,000 eggs in the largest (total length, 41.5cm). Size at 50% sexual maturity (TL50), determined from mature females, was 28.8cm. Annual reproductive cycles of this species could be divided into six successive stages; immature stage (May-October), nucleolus stage (November-January), yolk vesicle stage (January-February), vitellogenic and ripe stage (January-April) and spent stage (April-May).

Gonadosomatic index began to increase in June, and reached maximum between July to September. After spawning it began to decrease from October. Reproductive season was estimated to July-September, with peak in August. Fecundity was proportional to the size of the female, with the clutch size varying from 115,500 eggs in the smallest female (TL〓28.2cm) to 652,000 eggs in the largest (TL〓33.5cm). Size at 50% sexual maturity (TL50), determined from mature females, was 29.6cm. Annual reproductive cycles of this species could be divided into six successive stages; immature stage (October-May), nucleolus stage (June-July), yolk vesicle stage (July-August), vitellogenic stage (June-September), ripe and spent stage (August-October).

        Species composition and seasonal variation of fish assemblage in Sacheon marine ranching, Korea were examined. Sampling was seasonally made by a shrimp trawl from February 2009 to November 2009. A total of 55 species were collected. Of these, five species was dominant species comprising 51.1% of the total number of individuals. Nine species represented 57.3% of the total biomass. While total abundance (number of individuals) was high in spring, total biomass and species richness (number of species) and diversity were high in autumn. Cluster analysis, based on seasonally abundance data of the 21 most common species, showed that the species were separated into 4 different groups. Group A composed of Pholis nebulosa, Pleuronectes yokohamae, Hypodytes rubripinnis, Hexagrammos otakii, Tridentiger trigonocephalus and Paracercis sexfasciata, which were year round residents, group B Congr myriaster, Leiognathus nuchalis, and Platycephalus indicus, which were abundant in autumn, group C Sillago japonica, Pseudaesopia japonica, Zoarces gilli, Pholis fangi, and Pleuronichthys cornutus which were abundant in spring, and group D Sillago sihama, Cociella sp., Johnius grypotus, Cynoglossus joyneri, Cynoglossus robustus, and Pennahia argentata, which were abundant in summer. Principal component analysis revealed that seasonal variation in the fish assemblage was attributed to the abundance of temporal species such as conger and sand smelt fishes, which were abundant in summer, due to seasonal variation of water temperature.

        This study examined the maturation and main spawning season of Japanese spear lobsters, Linuparus tirgonus(Von Siebold) captured around Jeju island from January to September, 2008. Carapace length(CL), body weight(BW) and gonad weight(GW) were measured. Gonadosomatic index(GSI) and sex ratio were calculated. In female group, CL showed the highest value in June and decreased after August. GW showed a peak in July and decreased rapidly after August. The mean gonadosomatic Index(GSI) reached a maximum value between June and August. Number of egg ranged from 143,360 to 189,504.

        Maturation and spawning of the jack mackerel, Trachurus japonicus was investigated based on the samples captured in the coastal waters around Jeju Island from January 2007 to December 2008. Gonadosomatic index began to increase in March, and reached a maximum between April to June. After spawning it began to decrease from August. Reproductive season was estimated to March-July, with peak in April. Fecundity was proportional to the size of the female, with the clutch size varying from 33,493 eggs in the smallest female(FL=27.0cm) to 627,061 eggs in the largest(FL=40.6cm). Size at 50% sexual maturity(FL50), determined from mature females, was 26.6cm FL. Annual reproductive cycles of this species could be divided into six successive stages; immature stage(September-December), nucleolus stage(January-February), yolk vesicle stage(February-March), vitellogenic stage(March-April), ripe stage(April-July) and spent stage(July-September).
