        Background: Individuals with scapular winging have a weak serratus anterior (SA) muscle, and to compensate, the pectoralis major (PM) and upper trapezius (UT) muscles excessively activate, which can cause upper extremity dysfunction. This study aimed to compare the effects of isometric horizontal abduction (IHA) on SA, PM, and UT muscle activity, as well as the SA/PM and SA/UT muscle activity ratios during knee push-up plus (KPP) at 90° and 120° of shoulder flexion. Objects: This study aimed to compare the effects of IHA on SA, PM, and UT muscle activity, as well as the SA/PM and SA/UT muscle activity ratios during KPP at 90° and 120° of shoulder flexion. Methods: This study, conducted at a university research laboratory, included 20 individuals with scapular winging. Participants performed KPP with and without IHA at 90° (KPP90) and 120° (KPP120) of shoulder flexion. SA, PM, and UT muscle activity were measured using surface electromyography. Results: PM activity in KPP90 with IHA was significantly lower than KPP90 and in KPP120 was significantly lower than KPP90. UT activity was significantly greater with IHA than without IHA and at 120° than 90° of shoulder flexion. SA/PM muscle activity ratio was significantly higher in KPP90 with IHA than without IHA and in KPP120 than in KPP90. SA/UT muscle activity ratio was significantly lower with IHA than without IHA. Conclusion: KPP90 with IHA and KPP120 are effective exercises to reduce PM activity and increase SA/PM muscle activity ratio. However, applying IHA in KPP90 also reduces SA/UT muscle activity ratio, implying that it would be preferable to apply KPP120 in individuals overusing their UT muscles.

        Commercial polystyrene-based ion exchange membranes have simple manufacturing processes, they also possess the poor durability due to their brittleness. Poly(ethylene glycol)methyl ether methacrylate with hydrophilic side chain of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) was used as a co-monomer to make the membranes have improved flexibility. Hydrophilicity of the anion exchange membrane was able to be adjusted by varying the chain lengths of the PEG polymers. For the preparation of the anion exchange membranes, a porous PE substrate was immersed into monomer solutions and thermally polymerized and crosslinked. The prepared membranes were then subsequently post-aminated using trimethylamine(TMA). The prepared pore-filled anion exchange membranes were evaluated in terms of ion exchange capacity(IEC), electric resistance(ER) and water uptake.

        The cooperative relationship between Employer and Contractor in the construction industry is the most important factor to achieve the project success. Employer shall draw the Contractor’s cooperative behavior during executing the project. A study on the impact of the Owner’s power on the contractor’s cooperative behavior is rare in the construction industry in Korea even though the negative impact of the high-power distance between the Employer and the Contractor has been a hot issue in Korea. In this empirical study, it is shown that the Employer’s power can address the contractor’s cooperative behavior. The respondents were mostly employees in the domestic construction companies who have experienced in the construction projects. The total number of respondents was 317 effectively. The multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 were conducted to verify the hypotheses. In conclusion, the Mediated Power is positively associated with the In-Role Behavior and with the Extra-Role Behavior. Some of Non-Mediated Power is positively associated with the In-Role Behavior and with the Extra-Role Behavior. It seems that the Contract underestimate the Employer’s Expert Power. It was known that the cooperative power caused by Non-Mediated Power is good for long term relationship of the business to business transaction. So it is highly recommended that the Employer shall foster its expertise.

        The quantity of the fuel gas consumed are trending upwards because it can be easily delivered but isn't deteriorated and doesn't have any environmental pollution. Though there are many advantages to use the fuel gas, because of its explosiveness and combustibility, it can be hesitate to consume more gas. So paying more attentions to prevent the fuel gas accidents is required. In this paper, we examine the present situation data about the fuel gas accidents and analyze those statistically using ANOVA. we confirm that there is an acceptable difference between the mean values of accidents classified by the kind of gas, the cause, the type and the place but isn't by month. It is expected that our result can be applied as preliminary data when mapping out a strategy for preventing the fuel gas accidents.

        다양한 촬영 조건의 CT 감쇠 지도가 PET 영상에 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 다양한 kVp와 mA 조건에서 Uniformity phantom 영상의 신호 강도 (SI; Signal Intensity)와 표준 섭취율 계수 (SUV; Standardized Uptake Value)를 측정하고, CTDI(Computed Tomography Dose Index)를 통해 각 조건에 따른 피폭선량을 측정하였다. 또한 동일한 조건에서 Resolution phantom의 반치폭 (FWHM; Full Width at Half Maximum)을 측정하여 CT의 kVp와 mA에 따른 PET 영상의 화질 변화에 대하여 정량적으로 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과, CT의 촬영 조건은 PET 영상에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났으나, CT의 촬영 조건이 감소하게 되면 방사선 피폭이 감소하게 되지만 영상에 영향을 미치게 되므로 향후 진단이 가능한 CT 화질을 유지하면서 방사선 피폭을 최소화할 수 있는 양전자 방출 단층 촬영 (PET/CT; Positron Emission Tomograph y / Computed Tomography)의 촬영 조건에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 되어야 할 것이다.

        혈관조영 및 중재적 방사선학 분야의 경우, 업무 특성상 눈의 방사선 피폭에 대한 위험성이 높다고 알려져 있으나, 현재 구분된 선량평가 및 관리가 이루어지지 않는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시술 환경 내종사자의 눈에 대한 선량평가 및 차폐분석을 위해 첫 번째로, 시술자가 주로 위치하는 지점을 선정하고, 두 경부 팬텀 눈의 외안각 지점에 포켓선량계를 부착한 뒤 눈에 대한 피폭선량을 평가하였고, 현재 상용화된 납 안경 착용 시 차폐효과를 산정하였다. 두 번째로, 실측과 동일한 기하학적 구조 내 모의실험을 통해 눈의 피폭선량에 대한 경향성 평가와 차폐효과에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 선량계를 이용한 측정의 경우, 방사선 투시촬영 시간이 증가함에 따라 누적선량이 증가하였고, 또한 시술자의 위치에 따라 각기 다른 양상을 보였다. 모의실험의 경우, 수학적 팬텀 내 눈의 수정체의 경우 각막보다 약 1.1 ~ 1.3배 높은 선량분포를 나타내는 것을 확인하였고, 납 안경의 방호효과는 눈의 각 기관별로 최소 3.7 ~ 최대 21.4% 차폐효과를 보였다.

        본 논문에서는 움직이는 타깃을 대상으로 처방선량과 치료기법에 따른 흡수선량을 유리선량계를 이용하여 평가하였다. 타깃의 움직임에 따라 조사야에서 벗어나는 정도에 따른 선량을 MCNPX를 이용하여 모의모사하였으며 그 결과 조사야에서 이격하는 거리에 비례하여 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 처방선량에 따른 흡수선량의 결과는 3D CRT의 경우 저선량에서 IMRT보다 흡수선량이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 대선량에서는 IMRT가 더 높은 비율을 보였다. 치료기법에 따른 결과는 3D CRT가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, IMRT의 sliding window방식이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 3D CRT가 움직이는 타깃에 가장 높은 선량을 조사할 수 있는 기법으로 평가되었다. 하지만 정상조직의 보호효과와 환자의 상태 등을 고려한 적절한 치료기법의 선택으로 치료효과를 높일 수 있는 노력이 필요할 것이다.

        본 연구는 유방암의 근접치료 시 수학적 모의피폭체를 이용하여 유방 및 인접장기의 선량을 평가하고자 하였다. 좌측 유방과 우측 유방을 선원으로 설정하여 192Ir과 103Pd 핵종에 대한 흡수선량을 분석하였다. 그 결과 선원 장기에 대한 선량은 192Ir이 103Pd에 비해 높은 흡수선량을 보였으며, 반대측 유방의 선량도 192Ir이 높게 나타났다. 또한 유방암의 근접치료 시 특히 유의해야 할 인접장기는 폐, 간, 심장, 반대측 유방으로 평 가되었다.

        This paper estimated the container volumes for the Incheon port with univariate time series. As best suited models Winters' additive model, ARIMA model,and Winters' additive model were selected by import-export, coastal, and transshipment volume respectively, based on the data of monthly volume by October 2008 since January 2001. This study supposed the import-export container volumes would be decreased by 14% against that in 2008 and would have been recovered to the increasing trend of the volumes beyond the fourth quarter of 2010. The future import-export and transshipment volumes showed the increasing trend beyond 2011, while the coastal volumes would be on the stagnation. The yearly container volumes were finally forecasted as 1,705, 2,432, and 3,341 thousand TEU in 2011, 2015, and 2020 respectively.
