Nowadays worldwide leading companies try to establish more efficient and comprehensive management system for getting high quality, reliability and safety. In this paper, we investigate standards for quality management, dependability management and risk management. We also suggest an integrated and comprehensive system of quality(ISO/TS16949), dependability (IEC60300)and risk(JIS Q2001). The evaluation method on the performance of dependability management systems are developed and applied for the semiconductor equipment company.

Samples of GaMnAs, GaMnAs codoped with Be, and GaMnAs simultaneously codoped with Be and Mg were grown via low-temperature molecular beam epitaxy (LT-MBE). Be codoping is shown to take the Ga sites into the lattice efficiently and to increase the conductivity of GaMnAs. Additionally, it shifts the semiconducting behavior of GaMnAs to metallic while the Mn concentration in the GaMnAs solid solution is reduced. However, with simultaneous codoping of GaMnAs with Be and Mg, the Mn concentration increases dramatically several times over that in a GaMnAs sample alone. Mg and Be are shown to eject Mn from the Ga sites to form MnAs and MnGa precipitates.

Nowadays the customer is classified with external customers and the inside customers. Which are not only end users who consume products but also all people who contribute to their earnings through the management activity of the enterprise. Furthermore, the fact that the external customer satisfaction index and inside customer satisfaction index are closely related is supported by many researches. It is interpreted if the inside customer satisfaction is not improved, achievement of the external customer satisfaction cannot be easy. In this paper, First, we will deduce the inefficient index through DEA model in each department after setting up the weight of items of inside customer satisfaction and measuring them. Second, as well as research entire models about improvement methods of inside customer satisfaction getting improvement methods for reaching a goal in the minimum amount of efforts.

The era of express train in Korea has come since April in 2004. The KTX(Korea Train Express) which has introduced the technology of TGV of France is regraded as good as the ICE of Germany or Shinkansen of Japanese in its hardware aspects. However there are still many things to be improved in its software aspects such as the quality of services, since the new express railway system is in the early beginning stage. To improve the quality of services, we should first measure and analyze the current level of the service quality. Using SERVQUAL model, the service level of KTX is measured and analyzed in this paper. Issues on how to improve the service quality are discussed based on the measurement and analysis.

Corporations are faced with the key strategic task of adopting a comprehensive management system of a new paradigm in order to enhance their products' quality, safety, and reliability, as well as to minimize the cost of quality. The purpose of this paper is to present a methodology that can be used by corporations to ensure a product's reliability, safety, and maintainability, with minimal costs, by measuring dependability levels and conducting DEA analysis. The methodology will be a way for corporations to adopt an optimal dependability management system based on a quality management system of ISO 9001:2000 standards.

Everyone knows how much the company business goal is achieved is the most important to all companies. In order to maximize the business performance, many companies have introduced a diversity of management innovation activities. The effect of business performance is important in the business activity, but an efficiency of output-to-input concept is significantly important. Each year, companies have managed the business through a sum of performance. In terms of the efficiency of business performance, the management is importantly managed. In the efficiency of business performance, there are the main items including the total assets, employees, and operating expenses as the input. As the output, there are the main items of sales, current term's net income. This study is intended to calculate the business efficiency through DEA analysis for companies' business performance, and to study in order for the efficiency of business performance to be considered when the companies establish the mid and long term business plan.

In the autumn of 2000 and spring of 2001, field surveys were conducted to estimate the effectiveness of artificial reefs (type cube, 2×2×2m3) that were established in the four islands of Bangnyeong, Socheong, Daeyeonpyeong and Ganghwa in Kyonggi Bay, the west coast of Korea during 1995 and 1996. The condition of reefs was examined through SCUBA diving and a side-scan sonar. Much of the reefs in Daeyeonpyeong and Ganghwa area were buried in bottom sediment. Despite an intensive search in Bangnyeong area, even a cluster of reefs was not found and most of them seemed to be buried by sand waves. Thus an appropriate investigation on the sediment transport should be included in pre-assessment for the expected performance and protection of artificial reefs. Distribution of average CPUE in natural fishing ground (control) was estimated by bootstrapping simulation and possible comparison of CPUE between control and reef areas (treatment) were made in Bangnyeong and Socheong (Experiment I). Positive reef effect was detected in Socheong but CPUE of treatment in Bangnyeong was varied between or lower than the 99% CPUE confidence intervals of the control. Control/treatment abundance and biomass of fishes and invertebrates were tested by paired t-test and sign test (Experiment II). Only four cases among 22 showed significant positive effect. Based on the results, the cube artificial reef in Socheong was inferred as an affirmative one. Floor type was hypothesized to be one of the probable agents in determining the effectiveness of artificial reefs.

This policy management method and the Six Sigma CTQ Flow Down will make a good combination when their merits are developed and systemized as the management innovation program which enables to set up innovation targets along with management targets in the stage of strategic planning and to participate all the personnel from top management down in achieving th targets. This paper will help the companies implementing Six Sigma improve their management constitutions and achieve better management performances through the integration of policy management and Six Sigma.

Many corporations are accepting various kinds of business reform techniques to be adapted and overcome in this e-Business period. Among these techniques, team-organization is selected most in person/organization field. The introduction of team-organization is more needed and spread, so many corporations actually constructed team-organization formation form. But the result has not been active. Therefore after team-organization is introduced to improve the performance evaluation of team management, the result of team management performance should be correctly measured to find out and settle the problems of team-organization. The purpose of this research presents the development of the model of team-management performance evaluation and the method of the proper measurement based on BSC.

Six sigma, contrary to TQM, offers the concrete process for accomplishing the management innovation. Nowadays it has become as a standard means. Many companies claim to stand for durable management and would like to get customers' satisfaction and more profit with total six sigma activities. Under the present conditions we propose how to maximize efficiency with six sigma application on transportation management that is an issue among many companies.

본 연구에서는 주행경로의 설정 및 제어가 용이한 고정 경로 방식을 이용한 주행 시스템을 개발하여 온실의 형태, 고랑의 위치 등에 무관하게 자동관수 및 송풍장치에 따른 생육상태를 실험할 수 있는 다목적 자동작업시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템의 성능들을 알아보기 위해 과채류에 대하여 실험한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 오이는 초장, 줄기 지름, 엽면적 및 줄기 한마디의 평균 길이에 있어서 고속송풍에 따른 억제효과가 나타났으나, 관수 회수에 따른 차이는 크지 않았다. 토마토는 송풍처리에 따라 송풍속도가 강할수록 초장이 억제되는 효과를 나타냈다. 줄기의 지름은 처리구간 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 3회 관수처리구의 경우 송풍속도가 강할수록 줄기의 지름이 두꺼워지는 경향을 나타내었다. 엽면적은 대조구(Hand spray)에 비해 2회 관수처리구의 엽면적이 높게 나타났으며, 송풍속도에 따른 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 고추는 전체적으로 대조구에 비해 자동관수 처리구와 송풍처리구가 초장, 줄기의 지름, 엽면적 등이 낮게 나타났다.

Connection details for RC column-steel beam (RCS) moment frames were developed to improve the productivity and constructability. To strengthen the beam-column joint, transverse beams, studs, and U-cross ties were used. Four 2/3 scale interior RCS connections were tested under cyclic lateral loading. The specimens generally exhibited good deformation capacity exceeding 4.0% story drift ratio. Ultimately, the specimens failed due to bearing failure of concrete and shear failure of the joint panel.

현재 국내에서는 NMEA 멀티플렉서를 개발한 사례 띤 제품이 몇몇 업체가 있으나, 외국 제품보다 인지도 및 제품판매의 실적이 미비하다. 그러므로 외국의 고비용 장비를 수입하여 사용하거나, 멀티 포트를 이용하여 NMEA 신호를 전송하는 프로그램을 소프트웨어적으로 구현하여 사용하고 있다. 그러므로 고비용이 지출되거나, 각 응용프로그램마다 별도의 처리 부분을 작성해야하는 문제점이 있다. 또한, NMEA 신호를 출력하는 각각의 장비들은 제조회사 및 플랫폼이 다르므로 이중의 자원낭비 및 손실 등을 초래할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 경제적으로 NMEA 멀티플렉서 모듈을 구현하기 위하여 가상 시스템을 구성하여 실험을 실시하였다. NMEA 신호를 입력하기 위해 각 장비들은 가상의 데이터를 가진 노드로 대치하여 멀티플렉서 구현을 위한 가상의 시스템을 구성하고, 여러 문제들을 보완하기 위하여 신뢰성 있는 처리방법과 고성능의 단일 하드웨어 모듈로서 독립적으로 동작할 수 있다. 최적화된 큐의 설계를 이용하여 모듈의 메모리 효율을 높이며, 주요 항해 장비인 자이로콤파스, 에코 사운드, GPS 등과 실시간으로 RS232 멀티포트를 통하여 입력되는 신호를 실제 PC에서 출력하여 통신의 정확성을 유지할 수 있는 NMEA 멀티플렉서의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 제안하였다.

기존 RTK-GPS(Real Time Kinematic-Global Positioning System)는 고가의 장비인 RF(Radio Frequency) 방식의 무선 모뎀을 사용하므로 사용자의 무선국 허가, 전파의 지리적 장애물에 의한 영향, 전송거리의 제한, 주파수 혼신, 주파수 자원의 유한성 등의 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 RTK-GPS 수신기의 무선 모뎀을 대체할 수 있는 방법으로 휴대전화를 이용한 DGPS 수신기와의 보정신호 전송기법을 설계하고, RTK-GPS 수신기와 휴대전화간의 연동을 위한 인터페이스 모듈의 설계 및 PIC(Programmable Integrated Circuit)를 이용한 하드웨어 모듈을 구현하였다. 그 결과 인터페이스 모듈은 GPS 수신기와 휴대전화간의 인터페이스 모듈로서 RS-232C와 통신 제어를 통한 보정신호의 전송을 가능함과 이동국에서는 송신 및 수신 된 보정신호 데이터를 이용하여 상대 측위를 통한 정밀한 측위가 이루어짐을 얻었다. 기준국과 이동국의 휴대전화를 연동한 인터페이스 모듈 시스템은 기존의 RF 방식의 무선 모뎀 시스템과 비교하여 거의 동일한 정밀도를 얻을 수 있었다.
