        The Fuel Test Loop(FTL) which is capable of an irradiation testing under a similar operating condition to those of PWR(Pressurized Water Reactor) and CANDU(CANadian Deuterium Uranium reactor) nuclear power plants has been developed and installed in HANARO, KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). It is consisted of In-Pile Section(IPS) and Out-of Pile System(OPS). The IPS which is localed inside the pool is divided into 3-parts; they are in-pool pipes, IVA(IPS Vessel Assembly) and the support structures. The test fuel is loaded inside a double wall, inner pressure vessel and outer pressure vessel, to keep the functionality of the reactor collant pressure boundary. The localization of the IVA is achieved by manufacturing through local company and the functional test and verification were done through pressure drop, vibration, hydraulic and leakage tests. The brazing technique of the instrument lines has been checked for its functionality and yield. A IVA has been manufactured by local technique and will be finally tested under out of the high temperature and high pressure test.

        본 연구에서는 2종류의 다채널 알루미나 세라믹 정밀여과막으로 호소수를 처리할 경우, 질소 역세척 시간(BT) 및 막간압력차(TMP) 영향과 최적운전조건을 규명하였다. 정상여과시간(FT)은 8분, 유량 2.0 L/min, 역세척 압력 2.0 bar로 고정하였고, BT는 10∼60초, TMP는 0.6~2.0 bar로 변화시켰다. 또한, 최적운전조건은 막오염에 의한 저항 (Rf), 무차원한 투과선속 (J/Jo), 투과선속 (J), 총여과부피VT의 측면에서 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 0.4 μm의 평균기공 크기를 갖고 있는 HC04 분리막의 최적 역세척 조건은 BT=10초, 1.0 μm의 평균기공인 HC10 분리막에서는 20초임을 알 수 있었다. 한편, TMP가 증가할수록 구동력의 증가로 보다 많은 VT를 얻을 수 있었다. 오염물질 제거율은 탁도(Turbidity) 95.4% 이상, 화학적 산소 요구량 (CODMn) 12.7∼20.1%, 암모니아성 질소(NH3-N) 0.0∼6.4%, 총질소 (T-N) 1.9∼4.6%, 총인 (T-P) 34.9∼88.4%의 제거 율을 보였다.

        다공성 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드(PVDF, polyvinylidenefluoride) 그리고 폴리테트라플루오르에틸렌(PTFE, Polytetrafluoroethylene)에 대하여 순수한 물, 0.1 M~4.0 M NaOH 수용액, 그리고 0.1 M~3.0 M NaHSO3 수용액을 사용하여 임계투과압력을 측정하였다. 임계투과압력은 동일한 평균 기공 크기의 PVDF보다 PTFE가 크게 나타남을 관찰할 수 있었다. NaOH 수용액의 경우 NaOH의 농도 증가에 따라 임계투과압력은 감소하였으며 1.0 M 농도에서 최소값을 나타낸 후 다시 증가함을 확인하였다. 그러나 NaOH이 아닌 다른 염을 용해한 수용액인 NaHSO3 수용액의 경우 농도를 3.0 M까지 증가하여도 임계투과압력이 계속 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 현상을 이론적인 Cantor식으로 해석할 수 있었다.

        고층건물에 작용하는 풍압은 시간과 공간적으로 불규칙적이며, 일반적으로 사용되는 통계적 수법(저차 모멘트 등) 및 퓨리어 해석 등으로는 이러한 복잡한 현상을 이해하기에 적합하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 고유직교함수전개법(Proper Orthogonal Decomposition)을 고층 연돌에 작용하는 변동압력에 적용하여, 변동 풍압 및 풍력의 숨어진 구조를 찾아내고 해석하였다. 이 연구로부터 풍방향과 풍직각 방향의 변동풍력은 극히 소수의 POD모드를 통하여 얻어짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 이 연구를 통하여 고층 연돌에 작용하는 주요한 대칭 및 비대칭 POD 모드의 물리적 의미를 파악할 수 있었다.

        Pressure ulcers are serious complications of tissue damage that can develop in patients with diminished pain sensation and diminished mobility. Pressure ulcers can result in irreversible tissue damage caused by ischemia resulting from external loading. There are many intrinsic and extrinsic contributors to the problem, including interface tissue pressure, shear, temperature, moisture, hygiene, nutrition, tissue tolerance, sensory and motor dysfunction, disease and infection, posture, and body support systems. The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationship between buttock interface pressure and seating position, wheelchair propulsion speed. Seated-interface pressure was measured using the Force Sensing Array pressure mapping system. Twenty subjects propelled wheelchair handrim on a motor-driven treadmill at different velocities (40, 60, 80 m/min) and seating position used recline (, , ) with a wheelchair simulator. Interface pressure consists of average (mean of the pressure sensor values) and maximum pressure (highest individual sensor value). The results of this study were as follows; No significant correlation in maximum/average pressure was found between a static position and a 40 m/min wheelchair propulsion (p>.05). However, a significant increase in maximum/average pressure were identified between conditions of a static position and 60 m/min, and 80 m/min wheelchair propulsion (p<.05). No significant correlation in maximum pressure were found between a recline (neutral position) and a , , or recline of the wheelchair back (p>.05). No significant difference in average pressure was found between conditions of a recline and both a and recline of wheelchair back. However, a significant reduction in average pressure was identified between conditions of a and recline of wheelchair back (p<.05). This study has shown some interesting results that reclining the seat by reduced average interface pressure, including the reduction or prevention in edema. And interface pressure was greater during dynamic wheelchair propulsion compared with static seating. Therefore, the optimal seating position and seating system ought to provide postural control and pressure relief. We need an education on optimal seating position and a suitable propulsion speeds for wheelchair users.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate how COP displacement of a hemiplegic foot in stance phase during gait is related to clinical balance measures and the recovery stage in hemiplegic stroke patients. Twenty-eight functionally ambulant hemiplegic patients who had suffered from strokes and thirty age-matched healthy subjects participated in this study. COP parameters were calculated. Clinical balance was measured using the Functional Reach Test (FRT) and Timed Up and Go Test (TUGT). The recovery stage, proprioception, and clonus of the ankles or lower extremities were also measured for physical impairment status. The COPx max-displacement in the medial-lateral side of the stroke patients was significantly longer than that of the normal group (p=.038). The COPy max-displacement in the anterior-posterior side of the stroke patients was significantly shorter than that of normal group (p<.001). Significant differences in the COPx and COPy displacement asymmetry index were found between the two groups (p<.01). The FRT was correlated with the COPx displacement (r=.552) and COPy displacement (r=.765). The TUGT was correlated with the COPy displacement (r=-.588) only. The recovery stage of the lower extremities was correlated with COPy displacement (r=.438). The results of the study indicate that the characteristic of COP displacement in hemiplegic feet in stance phase during gait is related to balance ability and recovery in stroke patients. COP parameters acquired by the mapping of foot pressure in stance phase during gait will provide additional useful clinical information. This information can be used by clinicians to assess objectively the pathologic gait with other diseases and to evaluate the therapeutic effects on gait in stroke patients.

        Fe nanopowders were successfully synthesized by plasma arc discharge (PAD) process using Fe rod. The influence of chamber pressure on the microstructure was investigated by means of X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). The prepared particles had nearly spherical shapes and consisted of metallic cores (a-Fe) and oxide shells (FeO), The powder size increased with increasing chamber pressure due to the higher dissolution and ejection rate of H and gas density in the molten metal.

        The Physicochemical, sensory and cooking properties of functionally fortified rice with dietary fiber and chitosan were compared with regular rice when the rices were cooked with pressure and electric cookers. Moisture content of functional rice before cooking was 11.11%, which was lower than 13.72% in regular rice. Accordingly, moisture contents of functional rice samples cooked both with pressure and electric cookers were lower than those of regular rice. L value showing the degree of lightness of cooked rice was significantly higher in rice samples cooked with pressure cookers. The α value, the degree of redness and the b value, the degree of yellowness, were the highest in the functional rice cooked with an electric rice cookers. Textural measurement of hardness using a rheometer showed the highest value in functional rice cooked with a pressure cooker. The degree of gelatinization measured using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) before cooking showed higher onset gelatinization temperature (T0) and peak gelatinization temperature (Tp) in functional rice compared with those in regular rice. The gelatinization enthalpy (δH) of functional rice was lower than that of regular rice, showing that functional foe had lower gelatinization energy compared with regular rice. When the samples were stored in a refrigerator for one week, the DSC showed faster retrogradation degrees in samples cooked with electric rice cooker, having significantly higher enthalpies of regular and functional rice cooked with electric cooked compared to those cooked with pressure cookers. The functional rice samples cooked with pressure cooker had higher consumer acceptance test values compared to those cooked with electric cookers.

        본 연구는 시간압력이 주어진 상황에서 개인의 고유한 인지특성인 인지양식과 과제의 난이도에 따른 학습맥락이 시각변별과제의 기술습득과 전이에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 하였다. 자극은 다각형 비교과제를 이용하였으며, 실험은 스크린 세션, 훈련 세션 그리고 전이 세션으로 구성되었다. 스크린 세션에서는 참가자를 인지양식(분석적-전체적)에 따라 구분하였으며, 훈련 세션에서는 학습맥락의 구분을 위해 과제의 난이도를 어려운 조건과 쉬운 조건으로 나누었다. 전이 세션에서는 모든 피험자가 새로운 난이도의 다각형을 비교하였다. 훈련 세션과 전이 세션에서는 시간압력의 효과를 보기 위해, 1.5초가 지나면 자극이 사라지게 하였다. 전 세션에 걸쳐 정확도와 반응시간을 측정하였다 실험결과, 분석적 처리자는 훈련 세션 동안 전체적 처리자와 같은 수준의 빠른 반응을 보이나, 훈련이 지속될수록 반응시간의 기울기가 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 분석적 처리자가 자극의 세부특징들을 일 대 일로 비교하는 원래의 처리스타일로 회귀했음을 의미한다. 반면, 분석적 처리를 유도하는 어려운 학습맥락에서 훈련한 전체적 처리자의 경우, 전이 세션의 초기블록에서 반응시간의 증가를 보였다. 이것은 전체적 처리자가 어려운 학습맥락에 의해 분석적 전략을 개발했다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과들을 통해 시간압력 상황에서도 개인의 인지양식의 차이가 인지전략의 개발 및 기술습득에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
