본 연구는 웨어러블 컴퓨터의 프로토타입이 사용자에게 최적의 경험을 제공할 수 있도록 웨어러블 컴퓨터의 평가를 위한 사용성 척도를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다 이를 위해 질적 평가와 양적 평가를 동시에 수행하였다. 개발된 제품을 사용자가 직접 착용해 보고 의견을 진술하는 컨택스트(context) 평가를 2차에 걸쳐 실시하였고, 사용자 평가 결과와 전문가들의 의견을 반영하여 평가 항목 및 평가 대상을 선정하였다. 이를 통해 사용성 평가문항의 기초 안을 개발하고 관찰평가와 착의평가로 나누어서 설문을 진행하였다. 평가 결과를 분석하여 사용성 평가 문항을 확정하였으며, 만족감과 관련하여 평가 항목에 대한 이론적 모델을 도출하였다.

This study was designed to examine, using Rasch analysis, the rating scale performance of the Korean version of the Berg Balance Scale (BBS). The subjects were 95 elderly people at community dwelling. Subjects (19 men, 76 women) ranged in age from 65 to 91 years. Rasch analysis was then done by means of the Winsteps program to determine the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the BBS evaluation tools for elderly people. The results were as follows: Twenty-one elderly people were excluded for misfit persons. Three items were found to be misfits and the order of item difficulty of the remaining 11 items was arranged. Elderly people BBS ability is indicated by -.94~7.41 logit, and the transformation formula is score=(logit score+.94)/. This transformation formula can be applied to Korean elderly people for balance ability. In the order of difficulty of evaluation items, the most difficult item was "Standing on one foot" and the easiest item was "Standing to Sitting". In conclusion, the Korean version of BBS evaluation tool for the elderly people has been proved valid and will be useful in clinical practice and research in Korea.

사용자 중심의 일상 생활용 스마트 자켓 디자인을 위한 사용성 평가 척도를 개발하기 위하여 선행연구 결과를 토대로 네 유형의 스마트 자켓 사례를 선정하고 이에 대한 사용성 평가를 수행하였다. 스마트 자켓은 내장되는 기기의 종류와 사용 용도를 고려하여 네 유형으로 나누었으며, 사용자 경험을 평가하기 위한 평가 척도 구성을 위하여 선행연구결과를 토대로 60개의 사용성 평가문항을 구성하였다 각 스마트 자켓 유형에 대한 사용성 평정 결과 10개의 대표 범주 요인이 추출되었고, 각 유형에 대해 상대적으로 중요한 범주 요인에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과 자켓 유형별 중요 요인이 서로 달랐으며, 이 결과는 사용성 평가 척도 개발 시 디자인하는 스마트 자켓 유형에 따라 고려해야 할 중요 사용성 요인이 달라질 수 있으며 사용성 평가 척도에서의 우선 순위도 서로 달라질 수 있음을 나타낸다.

This study aims to compare the relationship between the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) scores, Timed Up & Go (TUG), Functional Independent Measure (FIM), and subject characteristics. All of the 18 subjects were women between the ages of 68 and 91 (mean=80.2, SD=5.43), and they all lived at the nursing home in Wonju. Balance was measured using BBS, and functional mobility was measured using TUG. FIM was used to evaluate functional independence. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation. Statistically significant differences were noted between BBS and TUG (r=-.486, p<.05). There were no significant statistical differences between total FIM and BBS, TUG. The FIM items "locomotion" and "communication" showed significant statistical differences between BBS and TUG. The results suggest that FIM may be able to predict dangerous falls in elderly people.

The purposes of this study were to find correlations among Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale, gait speed, and Timed Up & Go test (TUG) and to predict gait ability from subscales of Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale. The study population consisted of 30 stroke patients referred to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Bundang Jaesang General Hospital. All subjects were ambulatory with or without an assistive device. All participants were assessed on Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale and gait speed (m/s), TUG (s). The data were analyzed using independent t-test, Pearson product moment correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression. The results revealed that all items of Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale, except passive joint range of motion were significantly correlated with gait speed and TUG. In particular, sensation score, lower extremity motor and coordination score have a significant correlation with gait speed and TUG (p<.05). The sensation score and lower extremity motor score were important factors in comfortable gait and maximal gait speed. Their power of explanation regarding comfortable gait and maximal gait speed were 63.0% and 65.0%, respectively. The sensation score and lower extremity coordination score were important factors in TUG. Their power of explanation regarding TUG was 55.0%. These results showed that Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale is significantly correlated with gait speed and TUG. Therefore Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale is an appropriate assessment tool to predict gait ability of patients with stroke. Further study about gait speed and TUG by change of Fugl-Meyer Assessment score is needed using a longitudinal study design.

본 연구에서는 향 감성을 측정할 수 있는 향 감성평가 척도를 개발하고, 이를 이용하여 향의 감성구조를 밝히고자 한다. 향 감성평가 척도제작을 위해 향 감성관련 형용사를 수집한 다음, 37개의 향 감성 형용사를 선발하여 양극 7점 척도로 구성된 척도를 작성하였다. 304명의 실험 참여자는 집단실험에 참여하여 향 감성을 평정하였다. 척도의 신뢰도 검증을 위하여 2주 후에 동일한 절차와 조건에서 53명의 실험 참여자를 대상으로 재검사를 실시하였다. 검사-재검사 신뢰도가 높고 요인부하가 한 요인에 많이 차지하는 25개의 형용사를 최종 선택하여 양극 7점 척도로 이루어진 향 감성평가 척도를 제작하였다. 실험 참여자는 10대, 20대, 30∼40대 남녀 각각 24명씩으로 개별 실험을 통해 cederwood oil, peppermint oil, rose oil, grapefruit oil, teebaum oil의 다섯 가지 향에 대한 감성평가를 실시하였다. 향 감성구조는 '심미성', '강도', '낭만성', '자연성', '개성'의 다섯 요인으로 구성되었음을 밝혔다. 연령에 따른 향 감성구조는 유사하였으나 향 종류별 감성구조는 약간 다르게 나타났다.

제품의 “감성이미지”란 제품의 기능과 함께 제품의 전달하는 감각적 요소 그리고 사용자가 제품을 통해 표현하고자 하는 개념적 표상을 통합하는 이미지이다. 감성이미지의 국제 비교 연구는 사용자가 특정 제품에 대해 가지고 있는 이미지를 구가나 문화의 맥락 속에서 해석하고, 이들 이미지를 상호 비교 평가하고자 한다. 생활문하 속에서 사용자들이 제품에 대해 가지는 감성이미지를 계량적으로 규명하고 비교 평가하며, 이 정보를 기초로 각국의 문화와 정서에 적합한 제품 디자인의 모형을 제시하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 구체적인 연구활동으로 다음과 같은 방법이 제시되었다. 먼저, 각 문화 집단을 특징 지울 수 있는 표상개념으로 “언어 이미지” 스케일을 구성하였다. 이 언어 이미지에 대응하는 디자인 요소로 색채를 활용하여, 언어 개념과 색채 요소에 상응하는 자동차 제품의 감성 이미지가 각 문화 집단에 따라 상이하게 나타날 수 있는지를 비교하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 각 문화 집단들이 특정 제품에 대해 적용하는 감성 이미지는 언어와 색체 요소로 구체화 될 뿐 아니라, 이들 집단이 형성한 사회적 표상(social representation)의 개념으로 비교될 수 있는 것을 보이고자 하였다.

Cup arrangement ranking method (CARM) is a method for a rapid and small-sample sensory evaluation of cooked rice in rice breeding program. This study was compared to four different scale ranges (1~11, 1~9, 1~7 and 1~5) for improving the efficiency of CARM using sixteen Japonica and four Tongil-type cultivars. The wide scale ranges were higher of that than narrow scale range on determination coefficient between standard sensory evaluation method (SSEM) and CARM. However, the wide scale ranges were required more time and efforts than those of the narrow scale ranges for eating sensory evaluation of cooked rice. The wide scale ranges of 1~11 and 1~9 were difficult to distinguish the differences between the cultivars in the scale 3 and 4. On the other hand, the narrow scale ranges of 1~7 and 1~5 could distinguish the difference between cultivars in all scales. We suggest that two scale ranges for CARM were 1~7 (7 classes) in including Tongil type cultivars and 1~5 (5 classes) in Japonica cultivars.

본 연구는 내재적 동기, 동일시 조절, 외적조절, 무동기 4개 요인의 자기결정성 동기로 이루어진 상황적 동기척도를 초등학교 체육수업 상황에 적합하게 수정하여 신뢰성과 구조적 타당성을 검증하고 성별에 따른 평가를 실시하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울시내 세 곳의 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 학생 710명을 대상으로 예비조사, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고 이를 토대로 선행연구에서 제시된 4요인 16문항의 구조적 타당성과 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 내재적 동기와 동일시 조절은 기본적 심리욕구와 유의한 정적관계를 나타내었으며 외적조절과 무동기는 유의한 부적관계를 나타내어 준거관련 타당성을 입증하였다. 성별에 따른 잠재평균분석의 결과 내재적 동기는 남학생이 여학생보다 유의하게 높았으며 외적조절은 여학생이 남학생보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 학년에 따른 잠재평균분석결과 6학년은 4학년과 5학년 보다 내재적 동기와 동일시 조절이 낮았으며 외적조절과 무동기가 높게 나타났다.
