        Due to the development of plastic materials, injection molding products are limitlessly used. The colours of the plastic material also, have been developed to meet the needs of customers. The purpose of the present study is to verify the shrinkage of the injection-molded PC and PBT specimens in different colours. In this study, red, white, black and transparent colours were selected for PC resin. Also blue, red and black colours were selected for PBT resin. 50 specimens were produced per each colour, and measured after cooling-off. The P-value, the test statistic of the measurements in every direction of PC and PBT specimens were below 0.05 except the PBT specimen’s thickness. The rate of shrinkage for the length and thickness of PC specimens were 0.48% and 3.9% that obtained 4.4 times as big as the gap those between those two rates. The shrinkage in PBT were about 1.45% for the length and 5.08% for the thickness which had 3.6 times as big as the gap. This experimental results obtained that the colour of the resin (PC and PBT) effects its shrinkage. Consequently, the colour of the resin must be concerned in the event of injection-molding.

        목적: 본 연구에서는 착색렌즈 농도와 색상에 따라 눈의 조절기능에 변화가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 연구대상자는 폭주값이 정상, 안위이상과 색각이상, 안질환이 없으며, 안과관련 수술 경험이 없는 20대 남녀 대학생 31명을 대상으로 무착색렌즈와 50%, 80%로 농도로 착색된 gray, blue, brown렌즈를 착용하고 조절기능을 측정하였다. 조절기능검사는 조절력, 조절효율, 양성·음성 상대조절검사 및 조절래그검사를 시행하였다. 결과: 본 연구 대상자들은 착색렌즈를 착용 하였을 때 조절력과 조절래그가증가하였으며, 음성상대조절력은 무착색렌즈 착용 시 보다 착색렌즈 착용하였을 때 양안, 단안, 좌안에서 증가하였다. 양성상대조절력은 blue 50%착용 시 크게 나타났다. 또한, 착색렌즈를 착용 하였을 때 조절용이성은 증가하였으나, 착색렌즈의 농도가 증가함에 따라 조절용이성은 감소하였다. 결론: 착색렌즈의 농도에 따라 조절기능의 변화가 나타나므로 착색렌즈 농도 및 색상 선택 시 작업거리, 착색렌즈 착용 환경 등을 고려하여 선택해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

        Silica is used in shell materials to minimize oxidation and aggregation of nanoparticles. Particularly, porous silica has gained attention because of its performance in adsorption, catalysis, and medical applications. In this study, to investigate the effect of the density of the silica coating layer on the color of the pigment, we arbitrarily change the structure of a silica layer using an etchant. We use NaOH or NH4OH to etch the silica coating layer. First, we synthesize α-FeOOH for a length of 400 nm and coat it with TEOS to fabricate particles with a 50 nm coating layer. The coating thickness is then adjusted to 30–40 nm by etching the silica layer for 5 h. Four different shapes of α-FeOOH with different colors are measured using UV–vis light. From the color changes of the four different shapes of α-FeOOH features during coating or etching, the L* value is observed to increase and brighten the overall color, and the b* value increases to impart a clear yellow color to the pigment. The brightest yellow color was that coated with silica; if the sample is etched with NaOH or NH4OH, the b* value can be controlled to study the yellow colors.

        Consumer interest in eco-friendly fashion products has been consistent. While most relevant research emphasizes individual morals and environmental concern as the most crucial determinants to eco-friendly consumption behavior, more recent studies point out that in so doing there has been somewhat a neglectance on the importance of fundamental marketing strategies. More specifically, the crucial role of interior colors in fashion retail stores has been managerially considered something certain yet no empirical results have been found to support such a strong managerial assumption. For instance, colors such as green, blue, and brown are believed to represent natural images and are more appropriate to the eco-friendly marketing and the relevant research has been lacking. Therefore, this study attempts to explore the effect of in-store interior design colors (green versus non-green) on consumer perception of green store images. A total of 382 respondents were gathered for an online survey using differing store images as the stimulus and used for testing hypotheses. In the results, respondents exposed to store images using green interior colors reported a higher evaluation of green store image of the store. The effect is found to be significantly moderated by respondent’s environmental concern: to explain, respondents of high environmental concern are less influenced by green color interiors when they evaluate the brand’s eco-friendly image. In sum, the positive influence of green interior colors on green store image is found statistically significant, with its stronger effect for consumers of low concern. Managerial and academic discussions are provided.

        수심이 깊은 바다 속을 광학 카메라로 촬영하는 경우 영상 왜곡이 일어날 수 있다. 이런 문제는 해수와 각종 부유물로 인 해 태양광이 충분히 전달되지 않아 발생하게 된다. 특히, 수심에 따라 녹색과 청색 계열의 색상이 지나치게 강조되는 색상의 왜곡과 해수에 의한 빛의 굴절과 부유물로 인한 경계선 부분에서의 왜곡현상이 발생한다. 이와 같은 왜곡들로 인하여 수중영상의 전반적인 화질이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 정박 중인 선박의 하부를 촬영한 수중영상을 대상으로 영상분석을 수행한다. 그 결과를 기반으로 색 상을 보정하고, 윤곽선을 강조하는 기법을 제안한다. 실험결과 제안한 기법을 적용할 경우 원본 수중영상의 유효 윤곽선 보다 3.39 % 정도 윤곽선의 수가 증가하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한, 정량적인 평가와 함께 주관적인 화질평가를 병행한 결과 색상 보정과 함 께 객체의 경계부분이 명확해지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 제안한 수중영상의 색상 보정과 윤곽선 강조 기법은 향후 수 중영상 촬영이 필요한 여러 분야에 응용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

        This study aims to gather precise information on the real fabric color and texture, and purchasing intention of mobile shoppers buying clothes. Eighty volunteers participated in the sensory test on three smartphones with four colors and two fabricssmooth taffeta and hairy doeskin. This study carried out the posteriori test using the one-way ANOVA and Duncan test by SPSS21.0. In the analysis’ results of color preference, there were no differences among the four colors of taffeta between the smartphones, but different preferences between the red and yellow doeskin exist. In the case of the Samsung phone, which has an immense color distortion, the red fabric has a low color preference. In contrast, on the Apple phone yellow fabric had the highest preference because of its brightness. The Apple phone also has the highest purchasing intention of yellow colored taffeta, which is similar to the color preference results, although the real fabric has the opposite result. For doeskin, the real red and blue colored fabric has the highest purchasing intention. The Samsung phone has the biggest color mismatch with the real fabric. It also has the lowest purchasing intention of red taffeta fabric, while the LG phone has the lowest purchasing intention of blue fabric. Using the paired comparison method of the similarity between ‘real’ fabrics and the mobile version of fabric colors has a low similarity on all four colors of taffeta and doeskin fabrics. Therefore it can be concluded that phones do not represent the ‘real’ fabric color.

        In the painting process of automotive factory, color changeover cost is incurred every time the color of vehicle is changed. To solve this problem, automotive company usually uses storage space such as Selectivity Banks(SB) or Car Rescheduling Storage and carries out sequence planning so that vehicles of the same color are consecutive, which is called Car Resequencing Problem (CRP). So far, research works for CRP has focused on algorithms finding optimal or approximated optimal solutions under the condition that the number of vehicles is fixed in SB. However, these results cannot be directly applied to the actual automotive paint shops since they have continuous flows of cars into SB to be handled in a day. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an efficient cyclic scheduling method that starts the painting process using the result of Accelerated Dynamic Programming (ADP) and then reapplies the ADP to the vehicles in SB for renewing the painting schedule whenever a certain number of vehicles is painted, represented as a threshold. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, we performed a numerical experiment by designing system configurations, based onthe actual vehicle painting process, and proposed a good threshold that can reduce overall color changeover cost.

        Mobile shoppers have encountered frequent color mismatch in the products that they have purchased, as they can only rely on their sense of sight. Therefore, fabric color and color difference recognized by smartphone display during mobile shopping were studied using instrument analysis method. It aimed to gather precise information on actual fabric color understanding of the mobile shoppers purchasing textile products. Three smartphones were selected from LG, Samsung, and Apple companies, and four colors were researched (red, yellow, green and blue) to both polyester and wool test fabrics for color analysis though color measuring instruments. The results from the spectrophotometer indicated that the color coordinate location of smartphone fabric color is similarly distributed regardless of the type of fabric. The Samsung smartphone displays a relatively high color chroma (especially on red-colored fabric) regardless of the type of fabric due to a high color reproduction range. In contrast, the LG smartphone, which has high color temperature, displays high color chroma on the blue colored fabric with a significant color mismatch between the actual fabric color and smartphone fabric color. From the results of this study, issues related to mobile shopping can be addressed through an analysis of the products sold, the smartphone’s color representation, and user understanding.

        As the international competitive landscape deepens, the need to understand foreign cultures and establish effective strategies is increasing. At the beginning of the 20th century, Cartier actively developed exotic designs to secure international competitiveness; theses designs have also been used as design prototypes for Cartier in modern times. The purpose of this study is to analyze the color characteristics and types of exotic designs in the early 20th century, which was a turning point in Cartier's design. After studying the literature, a total of 248 exotic designs were presented in Cartier catalogs. This study also selected overseas monographs from the early 20th century, and their design types were classified and color analysis was performed based on the Natural Color System(NCS). Cartier’s exotic designs cover wide range of styles, such as Chinese, Japanese, Persian, Indian and Egyptian styles. Multicolor, primary colors, and contrast are all strongly expressed. 97% of designs contained multiple colors, with at least two colors and maximum of six colors. The most frequently used colors are red, green, and blue, which means that only 9% of the designs do not contain the three colors, showing a high preference for theses three colors. In addition, color combinations of red and green, red and blue, or all three colors are used to show high contrast and utilize complementary colors, or near complementary colors, for coloration. This study is meaningful in that it analyzes the color characteristics of Cartier’s exotic designs and translates them into practical data for establishing the color strategies of companies in the global market.

        본 연구는 일련의 문자열들 중 하나의 표적을 탐지하는 데 자극 명암대비와 색상이 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 실험 1의 각 시행에서는 네 문자로 구성된 RSVP가 제시되고 각 RSVP 화면상의 문자들이 서로 다른 위치를 점유하였 다. RSVP 배열 내에서는 한 위치에 회색 표적 문자가, 나머지 위치에 세 방해자극들이 제시된 표적화면을 제외하고 나머지 RSVP 화면에서 네 흰색 방해자극 문자들이 상응하는 위치에 제시되었다. 고가시성 조건에서는 회색 배경화면 보다 표적 회색이 현저히 어두웠던 반면 저가시성 조건에서는 그 밝기 차이가 상대적으로 분명치 않았다. 참가자들은 사전에 지정된 표적들 중 각 시행에서 어느 것이 출현했는지를 가능한 빠르고 정확하게 탐지하도록 요구받았으며 그 결과 관찰된 탐지 수행은 고가시성 조건에서 더 정확했으며 신속했다. 실험 2에서는 고가시성 조건의 회색 표적을 고선명도 유채색 표적으로 대체한 것을 제외하고 실험 1과 동일한 RSVP 화면 및 과제가 사용되었다. 그 결과 참가자들 은 고가시성 조건의 표적을 더 정확히 탐지했으나 반응 속도에 있어서는 두 가시성 조건 간 차이가 없었다. 두 실험의 결과는 시각적 부담이 높은 상황일지라도 현저한 명암대비 및 색상이 부여될 경우 자극에 대한 지각이 촉진됨을 시사하 며 자극 색상에 비해 명암대비가 지각적 촉진에 더 중요한 역할을 수행할 가능성을 제안한다.

        목적: 양안시기능 이상이 없는 학생들의 컬러렌즈 선호도를 조사한 후, 컬러렌즈 색상에 따른 읽기능력을 분석하였다. 방법: 색각이상 및 안질환이 없고, 교정시력 1.0 이상이며 양안시기능이 정상인 대학생 (20-29세) 19명을 대상으로 Intuitive Colorimeter Mk.3을 이용하여 근거리 독서 시 선호하 는 컬러렌즈 색상을 조사하였다. 총 163개의 단어와 12줄로 이루어져 있고, 서로 연결되는 의미 있는 문장이 아닌 단어로 이루어진 읽기 시표를 사용하여 1분간 읽은 단어수를 측정 하여 컬러렌즈 착용 전과 후의 읽기능력을 검사하였다. 결과: 대상자가 선호하는 컬러렌즈의 색상은 green이 가장 많았으며 blue-green, rose, purple, yellow 순이었다. 근거리 작업시 불편함을 느끼는 visual stress는 yellow 색상을 선택한 학생이 가장 높았으며 rose 색상을 선택한 학생이 가장 적었으며 통계적으로 유의미 하였다(p=0.00). 컬러렌즈 착용 전 정확하게 읽은 단어의 개수는 purple 그룹이 가장 많았고 green 그룹이 가장 적었다(p=0.04). 컬러렌즈 착용 후 정확하게 읽은 개수는 blue – green 그룹이 가장 많았고 green 그룹이 가장 적었다(p=0.03). blue-green 그룹은 컬러렌즈 착용 전보다 착용 후의 읽기 속도가 증가하였으나, 나머지 그룹은 감소하였다(p=0.00). 결론: 양안시기능 이상이 없는 대학생들은 green 컬러렌즈를 많이 선호하였다. 다른 색상은 읽기속도가 감소한 반면, blue-green 컬러렌즈는 읽기속도가 향상되어 컬러렌즈의 긍정적 효과가 나타났다. 추후 파장별 색수차와 조절력의 연관성을 분석하여 컬러렌즈의 긍정적 효과의 근거에 대한 후속 연구가 필요하다.

        목적: 자연광에 가까운 분광분포를 갖는 광원과 여러 가지 색필터를 이용하여 점멸하는 색 광자극(colored light stimulation)을 일정시간 눈에 가함으로써 스트레스 완화, 만성피로 개선, 집중력 향상, 우울증 치료, 생체기능 회복 등을 시키고자 하는 색광요법(color light therapy)이 정신과 개원가 등에서 널리 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 안경광학 분야에서 이러한 목적에 일부 부합하고자 개발된 총 12종의 개인 맞춤형 색상렌즈를 대상으로 시감 투과율, 청색광차단율, 먼셀색상기호에 대한 분포를 조사하였다. 방법: 총 12종의 색상렌즈에 대한 시감투과율, 청색광 차단율, 먼셀색상기호를 알아보기 위하여 380 nm∼780 nm에 이르는 가시광선 범위에서의 파장에 따른 분광분포를 UV-VIS 분 광광도계(UV-2450, Japan)로 측정하였다. 결과: 총 12종의 색상렌즈에 대한 평균 시감투과율은 85.5±4.3%이었으며, 최대 및 최소 시감투과율은 각각 92.6%와 78.7%이었다. 평균 청색광차단율은 20.2±8.9%이었으며, 최대 및 최소 청색광 차단율은 각각 8.3%와 32.1%이었다. 먼셀색상기호로 나타낸 렌즈의 명도 (value)의 평균은 9.4±0.2이었으며, 최대 및 최소 명도는 각각 9.7과 9.1이었다. 채도 (chroma)의 평균은 1.8±0.8이었으며, 최대 및 최소 채도는 각각 0.5과 3.2이었다. 결론: 현대의학의 일차의료 현장에서 흔히 접할 수 있는 경증의 우울증, 스트레스 관리와 더불어 학습능력 및 집중력 향상, 신체리듬 회복 등에 널리 이용되고 있는 색광요법을 안경 광학 분야에 적용하기 위한 시도로 개발된 색상렌즈들을 대상으로 광학적 및 색채 특성에 대한 분포를 조사하였다. 보다 효과적이고 체계적인 임상적 연구 또한 수행되어 의료현장에서 수행되고 있는 색광요법을 보조할 수 있는 색상렌즈가 개발될 수 있기를 기대한다.
