This paper investigates the status and change of qualitative research in TEFL and applied linguistics in an effort to project the direction of TEFL research in Korea. This paper first reviews a first and a second coming of age of the research in TESOL and applied linguistics, focusing on qualitative research methodology. For the study, the issues on a definition of qualitative research are raised, and three exemplars such as case study, conversation analysis, and ethnography are discussed in terms of assumptions, methods, data analysis and interpretation, and evaluative criteria. The importance and directions of qualitative research studies in TEFL in Korea are also suggested.

Too frequent baths are not recommended. A mother should be in state of relax and comfortable during feeding, and the maternal milk should be in proper temperature and proper quantity. When clothing the new born babies, it is important control body temperature. So it's better clothing them lightly, and protect the new born babies from intense cold and hot, and going out with them outside often for sunbathe when weather is sunny and nice. Development of the brain of the the new born babies is not completed, so keep away from strange things or person can scare babies. According to stated, taking care of the new born babies well, gives them healthy for whole life. So it won't be negligent, and I think all parents want to have babies should learn about new born babies enough.

This paper takes the new product development project management process of Lenovo Company as the research object, adopts investigation analysis method, literature analysis method and project management theory and gateway development management theory to deeply analyze the existing problems in the new product development project management of Lenovo Company, such as: The new product development cycle is long, the new product development cost is over budget, the new product development project organization and coordination ability is weak, and the project monitoring and feedback are not timely. The causes of these problems are analyzed. In view of the existing problems, this paper makes an in-depth study of the relevant theories of project management and new product development, and puts forward an optimization scheme suitable for the improvement of the new product development project management of Lenovo Company. It means adopting agile development scheme, establishing project development cost control point, optimizing organizational structure, and establishing perfect project management supervision and feedback mechanism. Finally, based on the current situation of Lenovo ‘s new product development, this paper proposes the guarantee measures for the smooth implementation of the new product development project management optimization plan, namely, talent guarantee, development and innovation awareness, risk control awareness, and management awareness in strengthening cultural construction, so as to ensure the smooth implementation of new product development project management.

Purpose: To study the narrative characteristics and narrative strategies of new media display design. Method: By the way of introducing the related theories and concepts of narratology into the new media display design, combined with actual cases and literature, this paper summarizes the narrative elements, narrative characteristics and narrative structure of new media display design, and then explores the new media display design of new methods, new strategies. Conclusion: New media display makes use of information technology, digital technology, intelligent equipment and other cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements to create the space environment, of which narrative style is characterized by cross-media narration, dynamic narration and participatory narration. Narrative method can be started and designed with project planning and design from three aspects: establishing narrative key words, organizing reasonable narrative structure and selecting appropriate narrative media, so as to bring "story" deep memory and immersion experience to the audience.

The public and the corporate itself are increasingly paying attention to the ethical problems because of the notorious conducts in corporate management, such as bribery, financial report fraud, dishonesty and trade secrets theft. The non ethical behavior doing harm to social conducts and hurting the relations between the corporate and the stakeholders has direct influences on the corporate image and long-term corporate profitability. Thus under the pressure of the public and self-sustaining development, the corporate ethic is brought into sharp focus. The corporate ethical capability refers to the overall ethical level shown by the corporate in the activities of management and marketing. The capability covers not only all the resources and mechanism but also the unique behavior both in the internal environment and external environment. In a sense, the corporate ethical capability is the highest level of the core competence. Therefore, to make rational criteria for the corporate ethical evaluation system and to build fair evaluation system are put forward as an important part. This article will probe into rational alternatives for the corporate ethical evaluation system under Chinese current situation in the perspective of the internal and external environment.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is now placing emphasis on the importance of a new and renewable energy resource map service as an essential means of promoting the dissemination and adoption of renewable energy and other related industrial activities. To raise satisfaction with the new and renewable energy resource map service and promote its utilization, a survey was conducted on a sample group with an academic research background, i.e. employees of the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) who have a thorough understanding of the technological concepts behind the new and renewable energy resource map. Statistical analysis of the survey results showed a high level of overall satisfaction with the web service for the new and renewable energy resource map. Therefore, it was concluded that the development of practical contents rather than the enhancement of web service convenience is required. A statistically significant trend was also observed whereby, the longer the professional career of the survey respondents, the greater their perception and utilization of, and satisfaction with, the enhanced service, which indicates that their level of understanding and utilization of technological concepts corresponds to their research experience record. In addition, the results obtained from the questionnaires regarding the evaluation of the utilization value of the resource map service indicated that use of the service was equally high in terms of political, business and academic applications. The results confirmed the need to develop multidimensional resource map contents that can be applied to as many fields as possible, rather than focusing on a specific terrain.

New food material "Rosa rugosa petal" with strong anti-oxidant activity We have recognized that administration of the flower of R. rugosa reduced the odor of mouse's feces. Thus, we supposed that it must be effective for human, and the effect was proved by the experiments of volunteer. Moreover, it was proved to be effective for aging odor of human. The effects must be due to anti-oxidative activities of R. rugosa. Ear wax was collected from volunteer, 50 year old or more, and the ether extract of the wax was analyzed by GC-MS for detection of 2-nonenal. 2-Nonenal was detected in the ear wax of few volunteers, but the administration of 2 capsules containing 100mg of R. rugosa per day reduced the 2-nonenal under detection limit. These results were patented in Japan(JP No.4008369), and a new company, Harunire bio laboratory Co., was established in Kitami Institute of Technology in 2003 for development of new products. The active constituents in R. rugosa supposed to be polyphenols, hydrolysable tannnins, such as rugosin A, tellimagrandin, and the contents of these polyphenols exceed more than 20% in dry flower of R. rugosa. The flower of R. rugosa was also shown to inhibit many enzymes, such as α-amylase and α-glucosidase, and prevent intestinal disorder. Various physiological activities are evaluated using isolated polyphenols now. Product development of new functional foods from onion (Sun Onion) The amount of onion production in the Abashiri-Kitami area is about 30% of Japan. Thus, the research for development of functional foods using onion was started for the increment of onion consumption. The following new results were obtained (JP No.3697524). The flavonoids in the juice and the squeezing residue resulted in process of onion juice manufacture were analyzed, and large amount of quercetin and its glycosides were shown to remained in the squeezing residue. The amounts of flavonoids in the residue are 5-10 times of those in the juice. Moreover, the squeezing residue contains insoluble dietary fibers, and it must be expected to improve of intestinal disorders. The irradiation of light (2500lux) on onion in artificial weather machine increased the amount of quercetin eight times. Thus, the new food material using the squeezing residue after the irradiation of sunlight, stronger than artificial light was developed. The amount of flavonoid (total quercetin) was shown to exceed 800mg/100g, and the amount of the pectin was about 10g/100g, these contents were extremely higher than those without irradiation. Moreover, α-glucosidase inhibitor was isolated from onion irradiated by sunlight, and the activity of irradiated onion was shown to be twice of that of without irradiation. Breeding of new onion rich in functional constituents We analyzed flavonoids by HPLC in 15 kinds of onions cultivated in Hokkaido Kitami Agricultural Experiment Station, and 15 kinds onions cultivated in Sapporo Agricultural Experiment Station. Total flavonoids contents of edible part of these onions were 24～293mg/100g, and those in outer peel were 265～5,613mg/100g. The onion breed with high flavonoids contents was discovered. The cultivation characteristic and the processing characteristic are now under investigation. In a human clinical trial, the R. rugosa petal was proven to decreased neutral fat (triglycerides). The R. rugosa petal must to be commercialized as the functional food and cosmetic product. In the case of sunlight onion, applications for vegetable juice and function food are under investigation.

This study was conducted to investigate the transplant possibility of glasswort (Salicornia herbacea) into new reclaimed land. The glassworts were transplanted into new reclaimed land at May 2000, and at next year we investigated the plant growth, yields, and the amounts of mineral elements of newly grown plants at new reclaimed land. The plant height of April was 8.5 cm, but at June that increased as 35.9 cm and the lateral shoots number were also increased. The total yields was 976.4g/m2 in fresh weight, and dry weight was 207.5g/m2. We measured the mineral element contents at April, May, and June, respectively. Na, Mg, and Ca of shoots were always more accumulated than that of root, and the amount of mineral contents trends was not affected by season. While P and Zn was reverse.
