This Interior landscape design was proposed for the high school culture center in mansu- dong, Incheon. Today users of culture center ask plans for improving the indoor spatial quality of their school environments. Indoor to meet the user's needs, various effeorts and works should be implemented as soon as feasible. And the purpose of this study was to offer the opportunity of contact with the nature to high school student by the creation educational space Recently one of the mainstream design approaches in space emphsizes to be synchronized with the nature and its basic attitude is the revival of the right relationship between man and nature. The interior landscape design covers the following: a survey of the present status, a site analysis, a schematic design, and design development. To create the interior landscape space , the site analysis was carried out. Based on that, we proposed educational space by the concept of environmental art education, which transform plan into the system of nature image. The high school space is designed to have educational spaces like water space, voice space, color space and the sense of smell space which are designed to be flexible in accommodating different time and events. We found that it is very effective to organize environmental art program in the interior land sacape space. Through the high school space created by this plan, the high school student will have more opportunity of contact with the nature. It aims to prove the fact that high school students needs the design which connects environmental art education space with natural environment.Key word; interior landscape design, highschool, environmental art education

The purpose of this study was to provide basic information for those who are interested in applying horticultural therapy to the elderly, through the current status of horticultural therapy research and its findings for Korean elderly. For this purpose, we utilized content analysis centering around all of academic theses and articles related this topic. This study suggested the future tasks for programming and research of horticultural therapy for the elderly. First, institution, accommodation and professional manpower should be maintained to fix programs of horticultural therapy in welfare institutions for the aged. Second, interdisciplinary studies among horticulture, health, psychology, sociology and social welfare should be required to do multiple research relevant to development of horticultural therapy and its application. Third, more studies on inter-generational program of horticultural therapy and its effect comparison on different kinds of older population should be recommended. Finally, multiple research designs and qualitative research methods should be more utilized in future studies.

본 연구는 환경친화적인 중금속 정화방법인 식물복원법(phytoremediation)의 적합성 규명을 위해 미적 가치를 제공할 수 있는 조경식물로 코스모스와 해바라기를 이용하였고, Cu와 Cd의 중금속을 농도별로 처리하여 생육량과 생리적 특성을 조사하였고, 식물체내의 중금속 축적량을 확인하여 식물복원법 적용의 타당성을 제안하고자 실시하였다.농도별 중금속 처리에 있어서 그 처리 농도가 높을수록 생육량이 불량하였고 엽록소 함량은 대조구에 비해 Cu처리에서 다소 높았고 Cu 처리농도가 높을수록 증가하였으며 Cd 처리에 있어서는 그 함량이 감소하였다. 수용성 단백질 함량은 저농도의 중금속 처리에서는 대조구와 큰 차이가 없었지만 Cu 2000μM과 Cd 100μM에서 그 함량이 감소하였다. 전질소 함량은 Cu 2000μM에서 가장 저조하였고, 엽록소와 수용성 단백질과는 달리 생육기간이 경과할 수록 그 함량이 감소되는 경향을 보였다. 중금속의 처리 농도가 증가할수록 생육량과 생리적 양상에서 다소 저해를 보였지만 축적량이 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 지상부에 비해 지하부의 축적량이 많았으며 식물체내의 중금속 축적량은 코스모스는 뿌리에서 Cu 453.44μg/g, Cd 675.14μg/g이었고, 해바라기는 뿌리에서 Cu 353.14μg/g, Cd 140.76μg/g으로 그 축적량이 양호하였다. 따라서 코스모스와 해바라기는 경관조성이 가능한 phytoremediator로서의 가능성이 있을 것이라 생각된다.

As indoor landscaping work is an empirical method, the total cost of work is calculated, therefore accidental error arises between the estimated cost of work and execution cost of work. This could cause the quality of work after construction to be low. In addition, it is in actual fact difficult to reflect the work cost according to the characteristic of indoor landscape by using personnel labor cost used in construction and landscaping. There is a necessity to revise the indoor landscaping personnel labor cost for specialization of the business. Accordingly, the type of work of planting work of indoor landscape was analyzed, and the work of seven construction sites where work can be observed and measured for more than three days, were measured and analyzed. As for the work measurement, time research method and work sampling method were used, and 30% of allowance rate was applied. Through the results, the frame work was analyzed as 0.129man/m(mam/M), work of watering off as 0.051man/M, drainage equipment work as 0.046man/M and water supply equipment as 0.074man/M. As for the planting personnel labor cost, according to the disposition and state, plants of 3 'chi' was analyzed as 0.0026-0.009man per each plant, plants of 4 'chi'as 0.0049-0.0035man, plants of 5 'chi' as 0.0104-0.0065man, plants of 6 'chi' as 0.0139-0.0088man, and plants of 7 'chi' as 0.0185-0.0119man. Planting work of indoor landscape plants takes up more than 70% of the total cost of work, therefore, increasing the reliability of work and reducing the competition of excessive cost of work between companies, by accurately calculating the materials and personnel labor cost by type of planting work, is the effect that can be expected. However, the landscape facilities of indoor landscape work or the personnel labor cost standard of equipment works need to be revised in the future. And if new construction methods such as drainage work, water supply work and work of watering off; or materials are introduced, the personnel labor cost has to be promptly calculated.

Horticultural activity is the one of the most effective recreations due to plenty of advantages. To most of the elderly generation, for instance, it is the familiar activity as well as productive activity, leading to satisfaction by providing an environment for social interaction. In addition, it has been shown that positive results such as memory restoration and emotional stabilization come from it. The purpose of this study was the assessment of horticultural activity as a recreation for the solitude elderly female by investigating the level of isolation and satisfaction of the life. Eight women between 65 and 75 year old were investigated every once a week from March, 18, to October, 28, 2003. Data was collected from UCLA solitude level, the aged life satisfaction, and horticultural activity evaluation and statistically analyzed by SPSS 10.0 and paired t-test was used. As a result, the solitude level was decreased from 52 to 45 with the significance at 0.035(<α=0.05) and the satisfaction level was increased from 32 to 38 with the significance at 0.022(<α=0.05).

This interior landscape design was proposed for the Han kyung zic memorial hall in soongsil university. Exhibition spaces have been recognized as places for the exchange of information, and various exhibitions and expositions have actively been held. Thus, the need for systematical design and planning of interior landscaping of a variety of exhibition places is called for. The goals of this study is to offer the opportunity of contact with the harmony of creation. Analyzing the harmony of creation which are appeared in architectural and interior landscape design, it is found out that a strong theme is needed to landscape an exhibition space. The theme is useful to increase the recognition and concentration of visitors, draw their attention, and convey clear information. Through the exhibition created by this plan, we will have more opportunity of contact with harmony of creation. An Exhibition space is a place where visitors meet and communicate with each other. Thus, design and planning of interior landscape considering the characteristics of exhibition spaces are expected to provide more information and interests with visitors. In this regard, systematical studies need to be conducted in link with the field of exhibition design.

원예식물 530종류를 과수(36종류), 채소(55종류), 초본화훼(227종류), 목본화훼(98종류), 관엽식물(114종류)로 구분한 후 이름의 유래와 음절수에 대해 조사하였다. 이름의 유래를 어종에 따라 구분한 결과 채소, 초본화훼, 목본화훼는 한국이름에서 유래된 비율이 각각 51.7%, 43.4%, 60.0%로 가장 높았다. 반면에 과수는 중국이름에서 유래된 비율이 46.5%로 가장 높았다. 관엽식물은 한국명의 경우 학명이나 속명에서 유래된 비율이 29.3%, 17.1%로 높았으나 일본어 이름은 일본어에서 유래된 비율이 53.1%로 가장 높았다. 원예식물 이름의 유래를 의미에 따라 구분한 결과 유래원은 과수의 경우 원산지 (43.3%)와 언어명(29.7%)에서 유래된 비율이 높았으며, 채소는 언어명(32.7%)과 형태(16.3%)에서 유래된 비율이 높았다. 초본화훼는 형태(38.3%)와 생육특성(12.3%)에서, 목본화훼는 형태(38.3%)와 색깔(21.1%)에서 유래된 비율이 높았다. 관엽식물은 형태(46.7%)와 언어명(26.7%)에서 유래된 비율이 높았다. 원예식물 이름의 음절수는 과수와 채소는 1-2음절이 각각 71.4%, 68.9%로 비율이 높았다. 반면에 초본화훼와 목본화훼는 3-4음절이 각각 57.5%, 65.7%로 높았으며, 관엽식물은 44.3%가 5음절 이상이었다. 음절수와 어종의 관계를 조사한 결과 한국어, 중국어, 일본어 이름에서 유래된 이름은 음절수가 4개 이내가 90% 이상이었으나 학명에서 유래된 이름은 음절수 5개 이상인 것이 70%이상 되었다.

The purpose of this research was to observe the relationships between sociality of the demented elders and horticultural activities of group therapy. The observation paper written by social worker were used for examining the interpersonal relations and communication skills indicating sociality. The important observation results were as follows. First, interpersonal relations and communicative ability among the demented elders were generally improved by horticultural activities of group therapy. Second, horticultural activities of group therapy was especially effective in the demented group of the buddy system. The buddy system meant that each group was consisted of a pair of the same sex or the different sex on the therapeutic horticultural activities. Third, in particular, the groups composed of the different sex seemed to have more effective influence on human relationships and communication than those of the same sex. In conclusion, horticultural therapy could improve their sociality of its participants. Especially, therapeutic horticultural activities of buddy system composed of different gender seemed to have the most effect on the adaptive behavior and communicative ability among the elderly dementia.

This study was conducted to investigate the transplant possibility of glasswort (Salicornia herbacea) into new reclaimed land. The glassworts were transplanted into new reclaimed land at May 2000, and at next year we investigated the plant growth, yields, and the amounts of mineral elements of newly grown plants at new reclaimed land. The plant height of April was 8.5 cm, but at June that increased as 35.9 cm and the lateral shoots number were also increased. The total yields was 976.4g/m2 in fresh weight, and dry weight was 207.5g/m2. We measured the mineral element contents at April, May, and June, respectively. Na, Mg, and Ca of shoots were always more accumulated than that of root, and the amount of mineral contents trends was not affected by season. While P and Zn was reverse.

Sports complex and gymnasium have became an accepted parts of every day life as various facilities for peoples in the community. So better interior landscape design guideline and planning criteria which can be correspond to development of community and grasp various factors as pattern, scale, design, maintenance and management of provisions for green interior are urgent problem. Therefore, this study aim to analyze existing realities, usage and interior landscape design of the gymnasium and to decide the proper design criteria through case study. This interior landscape design is proposed for indoor garden in the Samsung Semiconductor Gymnasium, Gihung, Kyunggi-Do. Design concept of this study is to provide a rest, an exercise, and a recreation for stressful office workers, and this inteior landscape design is to decide the proper size, the planning criteria of indoor facilities and related space in relation to proper scale, to find out design consideration and to present the indoor garden model.
