        발아 녹두에 세 가지 스트레스 관련 화합물 salicylic acid, methyl jasmonic acid, acetyl salicylic acid를 처리하여 isoflavone의 생합성양상을 관찰한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 숙주나물의 자엽에서는 isoflavone총량이 건조중 1g당 832.5ug 인 무처리구와 비교하여 10mM salicylic acid를 처리한 경우 169~% , 12mM acetyl salicylic acid로 처리한 경우 165~% 의 isoflavone 총량이 증가한 반면 0.5~% methyl jasmonic acid를 처리한 경우는 오히려 무처리구보다 47~% 수준으로 감소하였다. 2. 숙주나물의 자엽하부(hypocotyl and root)의 isoflavone 생성량에서는 1g당 284.8ug 이 생성된 무처리구와 비교하여 세 가지 처리 모두에서 유의성이 있는 차이를 보였다. 10mM salicylic acid 처리구의 경우 419~% , 12mM acetyl salicylic acid 처리구의 경우 401~% 의 isoflavone 총량의 증가를 보였고, 0.5~% methyl jasmonic acid처리구의 경우에는 121~% 증가하였다. 3.숙주나물의 자엽부위와 자엽하부에서 검출된 isoflavone의 합을 각 처리별 isoflavone생산총량으로 하여 무처리구의 건조중 1g당 1117.3ug 을 기준으로 비교하여보면 건조중 1g당 10mM salicylic acid 처리구에서는 2601.02ug 으로 233~% 증가하였고, 12mM acetyl salicylic acid 2514.4ug 으로 225~% 증가한 반면, 0.5~% methyl jasmonic acid 처리구에서는 738.8ug 으로 66~% 수준으로 감소하였다. 4. 숙주나물 자엽부위의 경우 무처리구와 비교하여 증가를 보였던 10mM salicylic acid처리구와 12mM acetyl salicylic acid 처리구에서는 malonyldaidzine과 malonylglycitin이 증가가 두드러지게 나타났다. 5. 숙주나물 자엽하부의 경우 무처리구와 비교하여 증가를 보였던 10mM salicylic acid 처리구와 12mM acetyl salicylic acid 처리구에서는 malonylglycitin의 증가가 두드러지게 나타났다

        Waste water-soluble cutting oil was treated with W1 type #1 and W1 type #2. The properties of the original water-soluble cutting oil were pH=10.4, viscosity=1.4cP, CODcr=44,750 ppm, and TOC=10,569 ppm. However, the properties of the oil used for more than 3 months were changed to pH=7.82, viscosity=2.1cP, CODcr=151,000 ppm, and TOC=74,556 ppm. It might be attributed to the fact that molecular chains were cut due to thermal oxidation and impurities such as metal chips were incorporated in to the oil during the operation processes. To prevent the putrefaction of oil, the sterilization effect of ozone and UV on the microorganism in the oil was investigated. Ozone treatment showed that 99.99% of the microorganism was annihilated with 30 minutes contact time and 60 minutes were necessary for the same effect when UV was used. Ozone treatment could cut molecular chains of the oil due to strong sterilization power, which was evidenced by the increase of TOC from 25,132 ppm at instantaneous contact to 28,888 ppm at 30 minutes contact time. However, UV treatment didn't show severe changes in TOC values and thus, seemed to cause of severe cut of molecular chains. When the activated carbon was used to treat the waste water-soluble cutting oil, TOC decreased to 25,417 ppm with 0.1g carbon and to 15,946 ppm with 5.0g carbon. This results indicated that the waste oil of small molecular chains could be eliminated by adsorption. From the results, it could be concluded that these treatment techniques could be proposed to remove the waste oil of small molecular chains resulting in the degradation of the oil properties. In addition, these experimental results could be used for the correlation with future works such as investigation of the molecular distribution according to the sizes, lengths, and molecular weight of the chains.

        Twenty organic chemical substances (Table 2) were isolated from untreated wastewater, as well as treated wastewater, collected at 76 companys of 9 industry group located in the basin of Youngsan River. Those organic compounds were analyzed by Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry(GC/MS) and confirmed through comparison with each standard reagents. Phenol, which was not detected in the raw wastewater, was identified in the effluent of treatment facility, indicating that phenol is generated from isopropylbenzene of plant wastewater.

        The soil from constructed wetland system for sewage treatment was analyzed to examine physical and chemical characteristics. Clogging and lowered permeability were the physical matters of concern, and nutrient and salt accumulation were the chemical matters of concern. However, the soil properties of the constructed wetland system after 3 year operation demonstrated no degradation and still the soil works almost same as the initial stage. Encouragingly, no sludge accumulation was observed inside the system. Therefore, it implies that the wetland sewage treatment system can work continuously as long as it is operated and managed properly not to cause excessive pollutant loading.

        This study was conducted to assess the characteristics of pigment wastewater and the removal rates of appropriate treatment by physical, chemical and biological process, and the possibility of reuse for effluent. Based on the results, the wastewater qualities of pigment were pH 5.1±3.4, temperature 43.0±5.0℃ BOD 1,431.4±589.6㎎/ℓ, COD 2,282.8±66.5㎎/ℓ, turbidity 1,340±82ONTU, color 243.0±147.Ounit, Pb 36.5±9.5㎎/ℓ and Cr^+6 10.3±1.3㎎/ℓ, respectively. The removal rates of adsorption by activated carbon and filter process were BOD 40.6%, COD 57.0%, turbidity 89.6%, color 87.2%, Pb 86.0% and Cr^+6 10.6%, respectively. And the removal rates of reduction, neutralization, coagulation and air floatation process were BOD 18.2%, COD 24.3%, turbidity 74.3%, color 56.7%, Pb 68.6% and Cr^+6 97.8%, respectively. The removal rates of activated sludge process were BOD 95.9%, COD 86.0%, turbidity 27.8%, color 25.2%, Pb 26.9% and Cr^+6 50.0%, respectively. The total removal rates of treatment by physical, chemical and biological process were BOD 98.0%, COD 95.4%, turbidity 98.1%, color 95.8%, Pb 97.0% and Cr^+6 99.0%, respectively. According to the test results for possibility of reuse with coagulation-adsorption by activated carbon process of effluent, COD was higher than that of raw water and others were similar to that of raw water, thus, it is considered to be reused.

        1. 돌연변이처리후 실내에서 처리된 종자의 발아율, 제 1 엽 및 뿌리의 생장율을 보면 gamma ray나 화학제 처리된 Dema M1 , 유묘의 경우 생존율이 l~49%정도 감소하였고 Grosso의 경우는 그 감소의 폭이 Dema보다 적어 두 품종간의 돌연변이제에 대한반응의 차가 컸으며 같은 처리농도의 화학돌연변이제를 처리할 경우 두번에 나누어 중간의 휴지기를 두고 처리하는 것이 한 번에 처리하는 것보다 식물체의 생장 저해정도가 덜하였다. 2. 포장 M1 식물체의 간장의 감소율을 보면 화학약제의 경우 8.5~38.5%의 범위로 간장이 줄어들었으며 특히 1.5 mM의 MNH 처리시는 두 품종 모두 파종된 식물체가 고사하였고 0.75~l.0mM의 MNH처리시 15~38%심하였다. 그러나 이중처리할 때는 1.0~l.5mM이상의 고농도로 처리하여도 간장의 생장 감소율은 단일처리보다 상대적으로 덜 하였으며 이는 두 품종 모두 비슷한 경향이었다. 3. Dema에서는 gamma ray 180Gy처리시 간장의 감소가 28% 정도로 가장 심하였고 Grosso에서는 150Gy에서 13%로 가장 심한 경향이었다. 4. M2 식물체의 엽록소 돌연변이 발생율을 보면 화학약제나 방사선 처리 모두 처리강도가 높을수록 albino, xantha등의 엽록소 돌연변이체가 많이 나타났으며 약제의 이중 처리시 엽록소 돌연변이의 출현률이 다른 처리보다 높았다.

        1. 옥수수의 자식계 9계통에 화학적 돌연변이 유기제를 처리하여 얻어진 M1 , 식물들은 형태적으로 왜성화, 백색화등 다양한 변이체로 나타났고 생식기관의 변이는 자성개체, 웅성개체, 자웅동화, 다수성들을 보였고 부임개체들이 증가하였다. 2. mutagen의 종자침지처리후 이삭에 수분방지대를 씌웠을때는 3.9-11.2%의 이삭착립율이 나타났으나 이삭당 성숙립수는 3.8-4.3게에 불과하였다. 한편 mutagen의 이삭주입처리에서는 5.1-10%의 착립이삭율과 이삭당 성숙립수는 1.7-6.3이었고 자연수분후 4시간만에 웅사를 절단하였던 이삭들은 착립이삭수가 27%로 증가하였다. 3. Mutagen처리와 수분방지처리에서 형성된 종자들의 조직학적 관찰은 aposporous apomictic reproduction이나 adventitious embryony의 가능성을 보여주었고 M2식물의 근단염색체를 조사하였을때 모두 2배체로서 확인되었다. 4. 무배합생식성 종자에서 출현된 식물들은 초장의 변이계수가 4-6%로 비교적 낮았고 외부형태상의 균일성을 보여주었다. 그러나 이들 무배합생식성과 결부된 표식형질을 발견할수는 없었다.
