        위성항법시스템의 안정적인 항법정보 제공에 대한 요구사항은 점차 증가하고 있지만, 의도적인 전파교란 및 자연환경 변화에 의한 성능 저하는 현실적으로 완벽히 해결하기 어렵다. 이러한 위성항법 시스템의 단점을 보완하기 위한 대표적인 항법시스템으로 고출력 신호를 이용한 지상파항법시스템인 eLoran이 주목받고 있고, 의도적인 전파교란에 강인하다는 장점이 있다. 사용자는 eLoran 시스템에서 사용 환경에 따라 E-field 또는 H-field 수신 안테나 중에서 적합한 것을 사용한다. 안정적인 접지 연결에 대한 제약이 없고, 상대적으로 주변 전자장비 의 잡음에 강인한 H-field 안테나는 두 개의 루프로 구성되어 루프 간의 위상과 이득차이로 인해 등방성을 가지지 못한다. 그러므로 H-field 안테나는 정지위치에서도 수신한 신호의 방향에 따라 측정치의 변화가 발생하는 단점이 있고, 보다 정확한 측위 결과를 위해서는 신호의 방 향에 따른 오차를 제거해야한다. 본 논문에서는 H-field 안테나와 송신국간의 기하학적 방향에 따른 오차를 제거하기 위한 지향성 보상기법 을 제안하였다. eLoran 모의 신호생성기를 활용하여 오차를 분석하고 모델링하여 보상하는 기법을 개발하였고, 시뮬레이션과 차량실험을 통 해 제안한 기법의 성능을 검증하였다.

        The camera movement can cause considerable error in the computer vision-based displacement measurement because the camera is generally placed far from the region of interest. The camera movement, which is difficult to avoid particularly in the long-term measurement, hinders real-world applications of the computer vision-based displacement method. This research proposes a practical means of long-term displacement measurement by using a novel camera system. In addition to the conventional camera-based measurement, an auxiliary camera is used to compensate the camera motion-induced error. Experimental validation is conducted in the laboratory environment.

        A monitoring technique of ground anchor force is now studying by measuring the strains distributed on a bearing plate. These distributed strains are measured by a fiber optic OFDR (Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometer) sensor. A sensing optical fiber was attached on the bearing plate at the two radial locations and tested by a universal test machine. The anchor forces can be calculated from the differences of these two trains.

        기둥축소량을 발생시키는 원인과 현재까지 연구되어온 코드에 대하여 고찰하였다. 코드에서 언급하고 있는 내용들은공시체의 건조수축, 크리프, 압축강도 및 탄성계수 그리고 구조해석에서 산출되는 탄성변형을 다루고 있으나, 장기간의 모니터링에 의해 나타나는 온도에 의한 변형은 기존의 연구에 의해 발생되는 요소들에 의한 것보다 축소량이 적게 발생하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 기존의 연구에서는 온도에 의한 변형에 대해서는 고려하지 않고 건조수축, 크리프 및 탄성변형에 대하여 다루고 있는 것을 확인 할 수 있고, 공시체의 실험에 대해서는 온 도에 대한 항목은 습도에 대한 항으로 대체하여 다루고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이에 대해 제안식에 의한 보정수치는 축소량 산정시 상부방향 4.9 mm 와 하부방향 1.0 mm의 오차를 나타내어 측정에 의한 수치와 거의 일치하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 기존의 기둥축소량 산정에 있어서 누락 될 수 있는 온도에 대하여 추가적으로 더 연구하여 그 영향계수를(수직온도보정계수,) 고려하고, 공시체의 시험뿐만 아니라 구조체의 온도 보정에 관한 기준 보완이 필요한 것으로 파악되었다.

        This paper explores the impact of corporate control, measured by ownership structure, on top-executives’ compensation in Japan. According to agency theory, the pay-performance link is expected to be affected by the firm’s ownership structure. Using a sample of 4,411 firm-year observations (401 firms for the 11-years period from 2001 to 2011) for Japanese non-financial firms publicly traded on the first section and second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), this study demonstrates that institutional ownership (both financial and corporate) is negatively related to the level of executives’ compensation. Such finding is in line with efficient monitoring hypothesis which claims that the presence of institutional shareholders provides direct monitoring over managers, limits managerial self-dealing and curves the increase in top-executives pay. On the other hand, the results also show that managerial ownership is positively related to their compensation which supports managerial power theory hypothesis, i.e. management-controlled firms are more likely to extract more compensation from the business than other firms. Overall, this study confirms that corporate control has significant impact on cash compensation paid to Japanese top-executives after controlling the conventional pay-performance relationship.

        In robotic surgery, a surgeon checks only a surgical site of patient in the progress of surgery by vision and sound information. In order to solve this limited information, the haptic function is necessary. And haptic surgical robot is also necessary to design a haptic master device. The master device for laparoscope operation with cable-conduit was developed in previous research to give haptic function. It suggested a possibility of developing a master device by using the cable-conduit. However, it is very inconvenient to use. Therefore, this paper suggests a new mechanism design structure to solve the problems of the previous work by new forming a new master device. And it has proved that it’s usability is better than previous one. Furthermore it has also experimented and analyzed that a backlash of new master device is compensated by smooth backlash inverse algorithm.

        To help improve the current government practice of direct damage-compensation policies, resulting from the loss of profit, sustained by Hanwoo farmers, as a result of the recent Korea-U. S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA), this research aims to examine any problems or issues caused by said policies. To accomplish this task, we have established Hanwoo-SIMO model and estimated the damage of Hanwoo farmers, one without the implementation of the FTA and another with the FTA, to compare and contrast the two. We then analyzed the efficacy of the current government policies. According to our analysis, the current direct compensation policies for the loss of profit on the part of Hanwoo farmers are insufficient. To address this problem, we recommend the government enact a new direct damagecompensation law to address the following issues. First, as the base formula of damage compensation, the government should use current price of the beef rather than the annually changing flexible price. Second, the flexible control index should remain fixed at 1.0 rate while the government prepares the adequate amount of the damage compensating direct payment resulting from the FTA. Third, the direct government compensation policy should extend beyond the current 15 years (2013-2026) as the profit loss is expected to increase after the midpoint of the FTA.

        The modulation transfer function (MTF) is a widely used indicator in assessments of remote-sensing image quality. This MTF method is also used to restore information to a standard value to compensate for image degradation caused by atmospheric or satellite jitter effects. In this study, we evaluated MTF values as an image quality indicator for the Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI). GOCI was launched in 2010 to monitor the ocean and coastal areas of the Korean peninsula. We evaluated in-orbit MTF value based on the GOCI image having a 500-m spatial resolution in the first time. The pulse method was selected to estimate a point spread function (PSF) with an optimal natural target such as a Seamangeum Seawall. Finally, image restoration was performed with a Wiener filter (WF) to calculate the PSF value required for the optimal regularization parameter. After application of the WF to the target image, MTF value is improved 35.06%, and the compensated image shows more sharpness comparing with the original image.

        In this paper, we present a global localization and position error compensation method in a known indoor environment using magnet hall sensors. In previous our researches, it was possible to compensate the pose errors of xe, ye, θe correctly on the surface of indoor environment with magnets sets by regularly arrange the magnets sets of identical pattern. To improve the proposed method, new strategy that can realize the global localization by changing arrangement of magnet pole is presented in this paper. Total six patterns of the magnets set form the unique landmarks. Therefore, the virtual map can be built by using the six landmarks randomly. The robots search a pattern of magnets set by rotating, and obtain the current global pose information by comparing the measured neighboring patterns with the map information that is saved in advance. We provide experimental results to show the effectiveness of the proposed method for a differential drive wheeled mobile robot.

        The docking and recharging system for a mobile robot must guarantee the ability of the mobile robot to perform its tasks continuously without human intervention. In this paper, two docking mechanisms are proposed with localization error-compensation capability for the auto recharging system. Friction forces or magnetic forces are used between the docking parts of the docking module and those of the docking station. In addition, an auto recharging system is developed to control the power. Since the system is modularized, it can easily be adapted to other robots.

        In this paper, an INS compensation algorithm is proposed using the accelerometer from IMU. First, we denote the basic INS algorithm and show that how to compensate the position error when low cost IMU is used. Second, considering the ship's characteristic and ocean environments, we consider with a drift as a periodic external environment change which is affected with exact position. To develop the compensation algorithm, we use a repetitive method to reduce the external environment changes. Lastly, we verify the proposed algorithm through the experiments, where the acceleration sensor is used to acquire real data.

        Generally, though we use the vision sensor or arc sensor in welding process, it is difficult to define the welding parameters which can be applied to the weld quality control. Especially, the important Parameters is Arc Voltage, Welding Current, Welding Speed in arc welding process and they affect the decision of weld bead shape, the stability of welding process and the decision of weld quality. Therefore, it is difficult to determine the unique relationship between the weld bead geometry and the combination of various welding condition. Due to the various difficulties as mentioned, we intend to use Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network to solve these problems. Therefore, the combination of Fuzzy Logic and Neural network has an effect on removing the weld defects, improving the weld quality and turning the desired weld bead shape. Finally, this system can be used under what kind of welding recess adequately and help us make an estimate of the weld bead shape and remove the weld defects.

        As a result of accepting the '71 FUND Convention and enforcing the Oil Pollution Compensation Act 1992, we observed some benefits and costa. This paper analyses those benefits and costs and suggests se-veral key policy recommendations for the estasblishment of an effective oil pollution compensation regime in Korea. This paper identifies the said benefits and costs as follows : First, by establishing the oil pollu-tion compensation system as same as the international level, most of small and medium size of oil pollution damage which are caused by coastal tankers will be compensated by FUND. Second, most of oil pollution damage which are not covered by '69 CLC will be compensated by FUND. Third, some parts of FUND Contribution Fee and CRISTAL Contribution Fee to be charged by major oil companies will be doubled. However the limit of international oil pollution compensation system and the loophole outside the Oil Pol-lution Compensation Act 1992 suggest followings : 1) Radical risk management and insurance manage-ment of ocean going tanker owners, 2) Establishment of oil pollution claim settlement system, 3) Enforce-ment of crew and ship management for coastal tanker and 4) Establishment of Korean P & I Club.
