        This study reports an analytical investigation on the development of SB4-grade separated concrete median barriers. The proposed barrier sections comprise three designs, with heights of 810, 1000, and 1270 mm and upper widths of 90, 120, and 120 mm, respectively. Before conducting collision analyses on the proposed sections, the considered collision analysis model was validated using real collision test results; the model was found to accurately predict the real collision test results. The proposed cross-sections were modeled to perform collision analysis according to SB4-grade collision conditions. Results indicated that increasing the cross-section height increased the damaged area and decreased the strength, while the occupant protection performance remained mostly unaffected. Furthermore, the proposed cross-sections met the strength and occupant protection performance criteria specified in domestic guidelines, suggesting their suitability as a separated concrete median barrier for bridges.

        최근 전 세계적으로 지진 발생빈도가 급증하면서 초고층 건축물에 다양한 피해가 발생하고 있다. 특히 고층 건물에 가해지는 수평하중이 구조물의 주요 구조요소 뿐만 아니라 외부 패널의 파손으로 유리 외장재가 낙하하는 등 2차 피해가 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 문제의 심각성을 고려하여 비구조 요소에 대한 2차 손상 방지 방안을 마련하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 는 기존 건축물 외부 패널이 가진 문제점에 대하여 실대형 시험과 유한요소 해석을 토대로 구조적 성능을 분석하고 취약부를 도출하였으며, 이를 보완하기 위해 층간 분리형 커튼월 모듈과 이동형 패스너를 적용한 커튼월 모듈에 대한 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과를 바탕으로 기존 커튼월과 비교시 구조적 안정성을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

        This paper is concerned with the optimal design of hyperbaric oxygen therapy system chamber with separated rooms for multi-users using stress analysis. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is very important medical remedy for increasing the concentration of melted oxygen in human and animal body to recover the impaired cell for the healthy condition. This research proposed the proper procedures to design the physical specifications and investigate the mechanical design safety of hyperbaric oxygen chamber with two separated rooms using computational stress analysis with Solidworks program. The result of this research will be used to make the real size model of practical hyperbaric oxygen therapy system for multi-users with separated chamber.

        In the past, the role of incineration facilities was mainly to reduce waste and stabilize disposed material. However, as a key aspect of waste management policy, the concept of “waste Minimization and sustainable resource circulation society” has become an issue, and the effective use of waste has been emphasized. As a result, to promote the recycling of wastes from January 1, 2018, the Framework Act on Resource Circulation has been implemented. In this study, estimation factors that can affect the increase of energy recovery are selected by reviewing the estimation method of industrial waste incineration facilities having a separate boiler; moreover, the effect of calculation factors on energy recovery was quantitatively evaluated. According to this study, when the heat loss, condensate temperature, and power consumption decrease by 10%, the energy recovery of the target facilities increase by 0.4% (0.22 ~ 0.63%), 1.09% (0.57 ~ 1.32%), and 1.16% (0.52 ~ 2.13%) on an average.
