The diesel engine generate many pollutants such as PM(Particulate matter) and NOx(Nitrogen oxide). So the SCR(Selective catalytic reduction) must be required to meet the emission standard. The SCR catalyst market is growing rapidly, and the automobile markets using alternative energy sources are growing rapidly. This study deals with optimization of the calcination process the manufacturing process of SCR catalyst to be competitive.
The calcination process is a bottleneck and it is required to optimize productivity and accept to be safety, But we cannot trade off anything in terms of safety. We applied DOE(Design of experiments) among many research methods performed in various fields. In order to achieve quality and productivity optimization. The dependent variables in the DOE were selected as NO Conversion(%). The independent variables were selected as the calcination temperature, soaking time and fan speed RPM. the CCD(Central composite designs) constructs response surface using the data onto experience and finds optimum levels within the fitted response surfaces. Our tests are our stability guarantee and efficient together with operation.

This study was to investigate the firing method of limestone in Joseon Dynasty, and analyze the physical·chemical properties of lime mortars in Joseon Dynasty. This study was to manufacture and evaluate the firing experiment and mortar of Limestone by each sort in order to reproduce the traditional lime mortars in Joseon Dynasty, and investigate the behavior to improve physical properties according to the firing method of Limestone. This study has found out that there were screening criteria and standard of appropriate firing temperature about the Limestone in Joseon Dynasty. Accordingly, this study was to improve its strength through various additives and mixture. In particular, in case of Limestone, the black and blue Limestone were preferred, and most of domestic Limestones were low grade Limestone including the clay and took ivory white or blue with low whiteness. This study has shown that the low grade Limestone was mined by the surface mining compared with the high grade Limestone as underground mining method, and could be used because it was easy to mine relatively and there was possibility that Natural Hydraulic Lime(NHL) was used with the traditional lime mortars in Joseon Dynasty.
A series of experiments demonstrated that an addition of Ag into (Cu0.5Zr0.5)100-xAgx amorphous alloys alters the plasticity of the alloys in a systematic manner. Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) conducted on the (Cu0.5Zr0.5)100-xAgx alloys exhibited the presence of compositional modulation, indicating that compositional separation had occurred. The presence of compositional modulation was also validated using a combined technique of molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulation. In this study, the effect of Ag on the compositional separation in (Cu0.5Zr0.5)100-xAgx bulk amorphous alloys was investigated to understand the role played by the phase-separating element on the plasticity of the amorphous alloys.
In this study, the expandable shale collected from the same area in Korea is fired to confirm the foamability. The firing uses an electric furnace capable of firing up to 1600 ℃. The shale was classified into three types according to its constituent and apparent characteristics, and each component was analyzed by XRD analysis method. The shale was fired considering the firing temperature and the residence time. As a result of firing, it was found that the firing temperature was different by more than 100 degrees and it was confirmed that the foaming property was increased with increasing temperature
In this paper, the seismic performance of column-tree connections was experimentally evaluated, depending on location of plastic hinge. As a result, although two specimens were qualified for SMFs, beam-to-column connection and flange plate were detected the brittle fracture during 5% story drift ratio.
