본 논문은 지구가 신음하고 한국의 환경지수가 최악에 떨어져 있는 상황에서 한국교회가 참여한 생태계를위한 생명봉사적 통전 선교를 논의하려는 것이다. 지구가 신음하는 상황은 인구폭발, 가난의 확대, 다양한종의 멸종, 벌목, 물의 부족과 오염, 토양의 침식과 퇴화, 넘쳐나는 쓰레기, 에너지 소비의 확산, 대기오염, 민물과 해수의 오염, 기후변화와 지구온난화 등으로 드러난다. 오늘날 한국의 환경 생태계 상황은 새만금 사업, 4대강사업, 제주도 강정마을의 평화와 생태계 지키기 갈등, 그리고 지난 10월에 개최된 유엔사막화방지회의에서 드러난다. 본 논문은 한국교회의 환경생태 선교를 논의하되 생명봉사적 통전 선교 관점에서 접근한다. 이미 논의된 통전선교는 이원론적인 복음주의 선교와 에큐메니칼 선교를 통전시키는것으로 사회정치적차원에서 논의된것이기 때문에 오늘날 생태계 위기의 상황에서 한계를 갖는다. 생명위기의 시대에는 유기적, 총체적, 관계적특성을 유지하는 생명봉사적 통전 선교가 필요하다. 본논문은 환경과 생태문제를 다루는 방식으로 환경주의와 생태주의를 동시에 취하고 있다. 기존 질서에 대한 이해와 변혁 지향의 정도를 기준으로 볼 때 환경주의는 위기 관리 차원에서 보다 손쉽게 적용이 가능하고 생태주의는 신학적 논의는 깊게 하였으나 현실변혁은 쉽지않은 상황에 있다. 본 논문의 구조는 먼저 환경생태계의 위기 상황을 지구적 차원과 한국의 국지적 차원에서 논의하면서 레스터브라운의 미국의 환경대응안을 검토하고, 한국교회의 생태환경 관련 주요 사건을 다룬다. 그리고 성경이 제시하는 창조를 이해하면서 생태청지기직을 강조하고, 한국신학자들과 선교학자들이 천착한 생태 환경관련 논문을 분석한다. 여기에서는 한국연구재단 등재지로서 ｢한국기독교신학논총｣, ｢선교신학｣, ｢선교와신학｣에실린것으로, 선교적으로 실천가능성을 비치고 있는 논문은 8개가 있었는데, 책 1권과 자료집 1개를 추가하여 10개의 글을 3카테고리 즉 신학적 윤리적 에큐메니칼 논문, 복음주의적 논문, 그리고 생명봉사적 통전 선교 논문으로 분류하였다. 끝으로 이러한 생태계를 위한 생명봉사적 통전 선교를 한국교회가 어떠한 방식으로 했는가를 4가지 즉 윤리적선교, 종교적대화선교, 네트워크선교, 생명봉사적 통전선교로 구분하였다. 이러한 환경생태에 대한 생명봉사적 통전선교가 환경생태 위기의 시대에 한국과 전 세계는 물론 민둥산이 되어있는 북한 땅에서도 추진되기를 바란다.

Not only in the text, but also with the text, linguistic image comes into being. This means that it cannot only be interpreted, but it can also be presented physically. Here begins the issue of ‘presence culture’ as a relative concept of ‘meaning culture’. The so-called ‘pictorial/iconic turn’ sheds light on this material character of text. The text as a type of image presents itself sensately and enters spatially into relations with us. This iconization of text reminds us of the long history regarding the connection between image and text. In artistic tradition, such as text-labyrinth, micrography and concrete poem, the iconic text produces the meaning not only with the aid of grammatical structure, but also with visual sequence. The characters as abstract elements produce a visual form, and they create sensation and life in its visual sequence. The text constitutes a meta-code of image, in that it makes a visual form as such, and the image also becomes a meta-code of text because it restructures the text visually. In this way, image and text coalesce in a type of circular and dialectic relationship. This conglomerate finds a possibility in the artificial life art and bio art. In the artistic practice of computer algorithm and DNA scripts, it has an opportunity to be changed not only into aesthetic life but also into real life. The combination of characters does not make a sentence nor a visual form, but builds levels where real life can be emergent. Although we cannot explain why, there is a marvellous change, while the characters are combined, arranged, and changed chemically, physiologically, and electrically. Indeed, this kind of emergence of life completes the idea of presence. The image. or the text. does not only represent the reality, it also constitutes levels of life, presents itself, and becomes a life.

영국법상 불법행위로 피해자가 사망한 경우, 관련개소에서 개별적으로 논의가 되고 있는데 가령, 가족생활관계에 기한 제3자의 손해 유형의 경우에는 가족관계의 침해의 타이틀아래 종래의 ｢action per quod consortium｣과의 관련 하에 ｢loss of consortium｣의 측면에서 논의되었다. 그러나 이 소권의 폐지 후에는 커먼로상의 일반원칙으로 돌아가 간접피해자의 손해배상청구라던가 정신적 손해배상이 인정되지 않는다라고 하는 원칙에 따를 수 밖에 없는 경향에 있지만, 예외적으로 생명침해의 경우와 관련하여서는 이러한 커먼로상의 원칙을 수정하는 제정법상의 보호로써 손해배상청구가 가능한 근친자보호의 범위를 확대하는 방향에 있다. 한편, 간접피해자와 직접피해자 사이에 일반적인 고용관계나 채권관계가 존재하는 경우의 유형에 대해서는 과실의 채권침해라던가 경제적 손실논의와 관련을 가지고 판례법상 독자적인 전개를 보이고 있다는 점에 주의해야 할 것이다. 영국법에서는 원칙적으로 간접피해자의 손해배상청구권의 문제는 가해자의 주의의무의 해석에 의해 그에게 독립한 네글리젼스(negligence)의 책임이 성립하는가의 문제로 귀착된다. 이 때, 간접피해자는 이제 더 이상 간접피해자가 아니라 직접피해자로서 구성되는 것이다. 그런데 주의의무의 해석을 둘러싼 영국판례법의 변천을 보면, 원래 주의의무는 계약법리로부터 생성된 개념임에도 불구하고 불특정 일반의 관계, 특히 네글리젼스 불법행위에 있어서도 주의의무기준은 일반적 정식화에 이르게 된다. 그 과정에서 일정한 관계에 있는 자가 아닌 자들 사이에서 이러한 주의의무를 인정하는 것은 책임의 범위가 과도하게 확장된다고 하는 점에서 우여곡절 끝에 네글리젼스의 성립요건 중의 하나로 인정되게 된다. 결국, 간접피해자의 문제는 영국법상 독립된 네글리젼스의 성립의 문제, 좀 더 정확히는 주의의무의 해석문제라고 할 수 있다. 또한, 커먼로상 간접피해자는 배상되지 않는다거나, 정신적 손해배상은 직접피해자의 경우에도 그 인정이 쉽지 않다는 원칙이 승인, 유지되는 한, 간접피해자의 손해배상은, 간접피해자적 구성 자체로서는 그 인정이 쉽지 않아 보인다. 다만, 영국판례법상 간접피해자의 정신적 손해에 대해서는, 직접피해자와 간접피해자 간에 근친자라고 하는 일정한 관계가 중요한 영향을 미치는 요소로서 결론을 내리는데 결정적인 요소라고는 할 수 없다. 이러한 평가는, 앞에서 설명한 바와 같이, 제2차적 피해자의 위와 같은 정신적 쇼크에 의한 손해를 소위 간접피해자적인 구성이 아니라, 직접피해자로서 가해자의 주의의무의 해석을 통해 독립된 네글리젼스(negligence) 성립을 근거로 청구하는 것으로 구성하기 때문에, 그 청구자가 불법행위의 직접대상인 피해자(primary victims)의 근친자임을 요건으로 하지 않기 때문이라고 생각된다.

인공생명 연구는 인공생명을 이용한 예술과 게임에 발전에 영향을 주었다. 인공생명 예술은 관람자의 상호작용을 바탕으로 이루어 져있으며, 인간의 관심이 게임에까지 미치게 되고 게임에서 최초로 수학 규칙을 이용한 The Game of Life과 사이버 펫, 아바타 및 최근 들어 타이쿤 게임(tycoon game)의 개발로 인해 게이머는 창조자의 경험과 공급자의 경험을 할 수 있는 게임이 발달 되었다. 또 이러한 인공생명 성장 임무 게임은 단순하지만 게이머의 관심을 몰입시킨 다. 본 연구는 인공생명의 탄생배경과 상호작용을 알아보고 인공생명 아트의 사례와 인공생명게임의 사례를 살펴보고 분석한다.

For the comparing of mortality of the resistance and susceptible population of Myzus persicae, etofenprox was treated in the recommended concentration of 200ppm. Mortalities of resistance population were 16.7 and 36.7%, and susceptible population were 86.7 and 86.7% after 24 and 48 hours treatment, respectively. For the detect of cross resistance to other pyrethroids, 6 pyrethroids were examined. Mortalities of susceptible and resistance populations were 90 and 31% to deltamethrin, 92 and 23% to lambda cyhalothrin, 81 and 14% to cypermethrin, 70 and 20% to α-cypermethrin, 29 and 28% to fenpropathrin, 84 and 29% to fenvalerate, respectively. It was showed that resistance populations were generally resistive to other pyrethroids. On the other hands, for recognized ecological characteristic of M. persicae susceptible and resistance populations life table was tested on the pepper leaves in the petri dish and on the plant in the pot. This results were showed that intrinsic rate of increase (r<SUB>m</SUB>), net reproduction number (R₀) and generation time in day (T<SUB>c</SUB>) were significantly different between two population in both tested. However, life span and reproduction period were slightly different between them. Otherwise, feeding behaviors were tested using EPG technique with non- and treated etofenprox. First potential drop time of susceptible and resistance population was 73.5 and 257.9 sec with non-treated and 93.3 and 1076.2 sec after treated, respectively. Electrical probing signals were 8.2 and 48.8 times with susceptible and resistance individuals after treated etofenprox, respectively. It was supposed that the resistance is more probings than susceptible population. After treated, total feeding time have more 6,728.9 sec on resistance than 965.5 sec on susceptible population. So, total non penetration time of susceptible population was 3,000 sec longer than resistance population.

본 연구는 신학 전공 대학생들과 과학 교육 전공 대학생들과의 비교를 통하여 신학 전공 대학생들의 우주와 생명의 기원에 관련된 관점과 과학에 대한 인식을 알아보며, 신학 전공 대학생들을 대상으로 개설한 현대 과학의 이해와 관련된 과목을 한 학기 수강한 이후에 일어나는 관점의 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 신학 전공 대학생 26명과 과학교육 전공 대학생 19명이 설문에 참여하였다. 신학 전공 대학생들의 경우, 수강 전 젊은 지구 창조론과 오랜 지구 창조론을 합하여 42%, 유신론적 진화론을 지지하는 응답자는 42%로 나타났으며 생물학적 진화론을 지지하는 응답자는 단 한 명도 없었다. 이에 반해, 과학교육을 전공하는 대학생들 대부분의 진화론을 지지하고 있었으며 극단적인 입장의 창조론을 지지하는 응답자는 없는 것으로 드러났다. 또한 창조론을 지지하는 대부분의 응답자는 과학이 창조주의 업적을 기술하는 도구라고 생각하는 경우가 많았고, 과학적 진화론을 지지하는 응답자는 과학이 자연 세계에 대한 논리적이고 기술적인 체계라는 견해를 가지고 있었다. 신학 전공 대학생들이 현대 과학에 대한 이해와 관련한 과목을 수강한 이후, 젊은 지구 창조론과 같은 극단적 관점을 지지하는 경우가 23%에서 4%로 감소하였으며, 유신론적 진화론의 관점은 다소 증가하였다. 이는 신학 전공 대학생들의 과학 관련 과목 수강이 신학 전공의 바탕에서 과학적 진화론을 이해하려는 실마리를 제공한다고 볼 수 있다.

생명 존중, 인도주의, 박애 정신 등의 용어들은 우리가 너무나 흔하게 듣는 단어들이다. 풍자개의 그림이 놀라운 것은 이런 주제를 그림에 나타냈다는 사실 때문이 아니라, 평범한 일상사나 흔히 보이는 주위의 사물을 통하여 보통사람은 생각지도 못하는 놀랍고 새로운 점을 보여주기 때문이다. 자신들이 무심코하는 일상 행동에 살생이 일어나고 있다는 사실을 인간들은 잘 모른다. 무생물들의 표정, 나비 무덤이나 기러기 무덤을 만드는 행위, 벌레 한 마리가 구두 밑에서 생사의 기로에 놓여있는 순간, 사람이 따려는 순간 눈물을 흘리는 과일, 똑같은 높이로 나뭇가지를 치는 행위 등등... 풍자개의 그림을 보면 동물은 물론 식물의 생명도 존중되어져야 한다. 그러나 인간이 생존하기 위해서 어느 정도의 살생은 어쩔 수 없는 일이다. 스님들처럼 채식을 한다하더라도 식물도 생명체다. 그렇다면 풍자개의 주장을 어떻게 받아들여야할 것인가? 그가 주장하는 것은 다른 생물의 희생을 최소화시키고, 쓸데없는 과잉 살생은 막자는 것이다. 인간의 유희를 위해, 미식을 위해, 탐욕을 위한 살생이 잘못됐다는 것이다. 인간중심의 세계관 속에서 다른 생물에 대한 배려가 거의 전무하다면 이 지구의 생태계자체도 파괴될 수밖에 없다. 그것은 인간 자신에게 거대한 재앙으로 돌아올 것이다. 풍자개의 그림은 불살생의 메시지뿐만 아니라 현재 심각하게 거론되고 있는 환경파괴, 생태계의 위기와도 관련이 있는 것이다. 풍자개는 이러한 메시지를 전하기 위해서 언어의 교묘한 사용, 그림의 다양한 내용과 다중적인 기법, 단순하고 신선한 충격, 글과 그림의 절묘한 조합 등을 사용한다. 풍자개는 언어를 구사하는 시인과 색채를 사용하는 화가의 재능과 자질로 시대를 뛰어넘는 작품들을 남겼다.

Jong Hyun Jang proclaimed “Life Theology” through the Baekseok University under the name of Baekseok theology. The Korean church and christianity is undergoing a difficult time. Especially the social welfare mission became due to statistics and evaluations more focused on capacity and results than the way of Jesus Christ. Jong Hyun Jang's “Life Theology” revived the Gospel in that sense. Although his work seems like the “Life Theology” of Alfred Jaeger, however he focuses on a much more pragmatical way on becoming more like Jesus Christ. He shows a crossroad in which “Life Theology” and Social Welfare Theology meet. Social Welfare Mission is the fastest way to actually do the work of Jesus Christ and spread his word as he did. “Life Theology” is the center of the Social Welfare Theology in which we live and serve as servants. This is why “Life Theology” is the future of the Social Welfare Theology. Thus, “Life Theology” with the aid of Social Welfare Theology will be able to revive and encourage people in desperate need to a new way of life. The background of this can be described in three points. 1) the center of the Social Welfare Theology-Christianity- Jesus Christ centered, 2) the framework of the Social Welfare Theology-church theology-the member and the leader of a community 3) the context of the Social Welfare Theology - Kingdom of God - behavior and attitude. These 3 components are important parts in practicing Social Welfare Theology. Since today Social Welfare Mission took a variety of forms and experienced difficulties in establishing itself in a dynamic changing society. Social Welfare Theology has more non religious factors (financial support, management, etc.) than ordinary mission itself. Thus it lead to arguments of the purpose of the mission and its meaning itself. The Social Welfare Mission also had difficulties in adapting in a secular and diverse society. Such difficulties now stand before the "Life Theology" to achieve a core meaning centered around Jesus Christ. Thus, not something which just looks like spreading the good word, but doing it like Jesus did is the main idea of the Social Welfare mission. Jong Hyun Jang’s “Life Theology” has been proven through the Baekseok University to work hand in hand with the social welfare mission. It remains subject to the next generation of scholars to see how Jong Hyun Jang’s Life Theology establishes itself in the future.

Adult longevity and fecundity of the foxglove aphid, Aulacorthum solani Kaltenbach, were studied at 12.5~25℃ with 60~70% RH under 16L:8D and the results were put together to build a life table. The longevity of foxglove gradually increased with decreasing temperature below 25℃. Also total fecundity increased with decreasing temperature and highest fecundity was 74.1 nymphs per female at 15℃. However, daily fecundity increased with increasing temperatures up to 20℃ showing 2.9 nymphs per day and thereafter decreased. Net reproduction rate (R₀) was highest of 58.7 at 15℃. The intrinsic rate of increase per day (r<SUB>m</SUB>) and the finite rate of increase per day (λ) were highest of 0.27 and 1.32, respectively and the doubling time (Dt) was shortest of 2.52. the mean generation time (T) was 10.99 at 22.5℃.

Temperature dependent development of Tetranychus. urticae Koch was studied on the leaf of eggplant at 17, 22, 27, 32 and 37℃, T. urticae showed a minimum mortality at 27℃ and it increased at higher or lower temperatures than 27℃. The hatchability was low at 17 and 37℃. The duration of development decreased with increasing temperatures i.e., 5.3d at 37℃ and 25.8d at 17℃. Linear regression analysis of temperature vs. rate of development yielded the higher r² ≥ 0.88 resulting in a good fit of the estimated line in the range of 17~37℃. Developmental zero temperature was 12.5℃ for the entire immature stage of female and 12.8℃ for that of male. Thermal constants were 80.5 and 74.7 degree days for those of female and male, respectively. Adult life span and oviposition period decreased with increasing temperatures. The number of eggs laid per female peaked at 141.0 eggs at 27℃, while that was a minimum 78.0 eggs at 37℃. Rate of hatchability, ratio of female, and R₀ were increased up to 27℃, and than declined thereafter. Intrinsic rate of natural increase (Rm) increased with rising temperatures and showed a maximum 0.5652 at 37℃. Also, λ increased with increasing temperature. Doubling time (Dt) and generation time (T) decreased with increasing temperature.
