An investigation on the habitation of Callipogon relictus Semenov was carried out in Gwangneung forest, Korea and Ussurisky nature reserve, Russia. During the investigation period (2007–2018), a total of 25 emergence holes, 10 pupal chambers, 10 adults, and two larvae of C. relictus were identified in Gwangneung forest. In this presentation, we provide biological information on habitation of C. relictus in Gwangneung forest by comparison and combination of survey results in Ussurisky nature reserve, in 2015 and 2018. In addition, the distribution range of C. relictus is also reviewed in the Korean Peninsula with a new location.

Drago Galić (1907-1992) has been acknowledged as one of most important modern Croatia architects of the 20th century and noted for his controversial apartment buildings at 35-35a and 43-43a blocks on Vukovar Street in Zagreb, Croatia. Although the two housings were highly regarded as the best examples of the post-war housing design in Croatia, a plagiarism controversy arose due to its similar exterior looks to Le Corbusier’s Unité d'Habitation in Marseille in 1952. This research intends to comparatively analyze architectural features implemented on the works of apartment of Drago Galić and Le Corbusier's Unité d'Habitation. The analysis focuses on architectural characteristics categorized in three parts: unit plan, community space, and unit combinations. The site survey was carried out to yield more useful information for the analysis. During this process, written and photographic documentations are collected for the further interpretation. In addition, scale drawings are reconstructed for the in-depth analysis of the project.

본 연구에서는 2009년 완도해역에서 전남에서는 처음으로 발견된 대규모 연산호 군락지와 해양보호구역(marine protected area) 지정과의 관계에 대해 언급하고자 한다. 연산호 군락지 생태조사의 목적은 연산호 군락의 특이성, 서식상 등의 정밀조사를 통하여 완도해역(신지대교 및 주변해역)의 연산호 군락지 생태학적 가치를 규명하고 향후 해양보호구역(MPA)으로 지정하기 위함이다. 제주 해역에서만 발견되던 연산호 군락이 전남 완도해역에서 대규모로 발견된 것만으로도 주목할 만한 현상 이며, 연산호 군락 주변에 다양한 생물종이 서식함으로 해양생태계 생물 다양성과 해양경관의 우수성을 토대로 해양생태관광지 로 활용할 방안을 모색할 것이다.

The green rice leafhopper, Nephotettix cincticeps is an insect vector which transmits virus diseases of rice plant causing severe damage to the rice and its damage both quality and yield of rice. Survival rate of overwintering N. cincticeps in Alopeculus acquadis among 15 species of the winter crops and weeds was 37.8% and its most preferred. Density of N. cincticeps in environment-friendly agriculture area which cultivated Astragalus sinicus as a green manure crop in winter season increased in number wintering pass in Alopeculus acquadis and Astragalus sinicus as host plants, because of control of N. cincticeps was not enough in the previous year. Survival rate of N. cincticeps was higher mainly in habitation mixed with rice straw, Astragalus sinicus and Alopeculus acquadis as winter habitation. It warmed due to the effect of the keeping warmth inside of a rice paddy field and the bank around a rice field covered with rice straw or Astragalus sinicus. Also, habitation conditions were optimal for survival because of growing Alopeculus acquadis as the major host plant of N. cincticeps in that place.

Player participates in a MMORPG with a role-playing avatar. Avatar is a body which makes players dwell in virtual space. This study analyzed characteristics of avatar's body and structure of avatar-based habitation. Avatar's body is a minimal boundary space as well as a first place for its owner. Threat of death toward avatar calls player's attention and a player takes care of his or her avatar through steady gaze. Player's gaze produces dual habitation structure and this habitation is composed of recognition, act and meaning acquisition. Habitation is changed to half-habitation or un-habitation when avatar's body lost its boundary by death.

본 연구는 대형 산불이 발생한 강원도 고성군 산불피해지 역에 서식하는 맹금류의 현황을 통해 산불피해지 역이 맹금류의 서식에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실시하였다. 고성군 산불피해지역에서 관찰된 맹금류는 총2목 3과 8종 최대 개체수 합계 28개체가 확인되었다. 최우점종은 새홀리기였으며, 말똥가리, 황조롱이, 붉은배새매의 순으로 조사되었다. 2002년 5월에 가장 많은 종과 개체수가 관찰되었으며, 부분적 미피해지역과 미피해지역에서 5종으로 가장 많은 맹금류가 관찰되었다. 이 한 맹금류들의 종과 개체수를 증가시키기 위해서 산불피해지 역에 맹금류들이 둥지를 만들 수 있는 조건을 조성해준다면, 산불피해지 역에 서식하는 맹금류의 종과 개체수는 더욱 늘어날 것으로 판단된다.

한반도 남해 연안 습지 지역에 자생하는 거머리말의 부포, 식물체 군집과 생육환경의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 2000년 6월부터 12월까지 식물체와 생육환경을 조사하였다. 조사기가 중 제주도 2개 생육지를 포함하여 남해 동부연안의 안골포에서 서부연안인 진도 강계까지 총 28개 생육지에서 자생 거머리말의 분포를 파악하였다. 거머리말의 생육지는 연안과 섬의 만, 보초, 하구와 같이 파랑의 영향이 적은 수심 0.5~8.0m의 조간대와 조하대 지역이었

The Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles was an experimental project that Le Corbusier had been waiting for since 1920s in order to explore his ideals and visions in mass housing and city planning. As a leader of the first generation members in CIAM, Le Corbusier tried to give a new form and an order to the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles in both building design and city planning level. The purpose of this research is to investigate the design characteristics of the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles in three different levels of built environment with a particular emphasis on the process through which an original form is derived from its contextual settings. In the level of city planning, Le Corbusier aimed to reshape traditional low-rise urban housing by deploying several Unites spaciously. Le Corbusier believed that the spacious deployment of Unites would bring us both the functional economy in the city and the natural amenity in the suburbs. As Unite d'Habitation would be called frequently as vertical garden city, the influence of suburban garden city on Unite d'Habitation is apparent. In the building level, the binomial harmony of individual-collectivity was pursued by providing three different public floors and by combining 23 different family unit types in the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles. In order to visualize the concept of object-type, family units were prefabricated and inserted into the structural frame of the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles. Two family units are combined to make a three-story section with street corridor in the middle. This three-story section unit is very original as it has access corridor every third floor and each unit could have considerable depth with the help of the living space of two story height. In consideration of formal and plan similarity as well as contextual edivdence, it is concluded that the three-story section of the Unite d'Habitation is derived more from Narkomfin Apartments than from the monastery at Ema or Immuble Villas.
