미디어아트 제작방식중 하나인 미디어 파사드는 화려한 이미지와 색상, 영상표현 기법으로 관람객의 시각적 몰입을 강화하고 호응을 이끈다. 하지만 시각적 이미지 표현에만 집중하는 경우, 제작자가 의도한 메시지나 의미가 관람객에게 전달되기 어려울 수 있으며, 미디어파사드 의 기대효과도 낮아지는 한계점이 있다. 본 연구는 미디어파사드 콘텐츠인 <보물선을 깨우다, 아시아 해양실크로드> 제작 및 전시사례를 통해 전시구성, 서사구조, 시청각적 요소를 분석하 였으며, 이미지 재현과 스토리텔링을 연구하였다. 이를 통해 미디어파사드를 효과적으로 전시 하기 위해서는 선형적 이미지 제시가 아닌 서사구조의 시각이미지가 필요하며, 연속성과 반복 성이 수반되어야 한다는 점, 또 은유와 상징으로 스토리를 재구성하는 방식이 필요하다는 것 을 확인하였다. 향후 이러한 개발방향을 고려한 미디어파사드는 관람객에게 더욱 풍부한 문화 향유 기회를 제공하고 제작자가 의도한 메시지와 의미를 더욱 효과적으로 전달할 수 있을 것 이다.
Elon·Musk is a business man who attracts the world’s most attention, not only because of its unusual business mind, advanced challenging consciousness and legendary entrepreneurial experience which made him the world's richest man, but also because he is good at using the trend of social network society (SNS) platform to achieve social interaction. This study uses python 3.11 software to capture and filter Musk's Weibo articles on August 18th, 2023, and makes logical analysis based on the chronological related events, so as to extract Musk’s cognitive characteristics of Chinese social media. This paper finds that Chinese social media builds Musk's image cognition through reporting and judging his career development and hot issues, the cognition varies with the dynamic changes of character events; Chinese social media focuses on fields of Tesla intelligent driving, spaceship and brain neural technology, as well as social media; Weibo articles’ cognitive characteristics of Musk's image are extreme, where the extremely positive proportion accounts for more than 60%, and the extremely negative proportion accounts for more than 10%.
만해(萬海) 한용운(韓龍雲,1879~1944)은 승려이자 독립운동가였으며 문학가로 치열한 인생을 보냈다. 그의 이러한 삶은 각종 언론보도를 통해 다양하게 드러나고 해석됐다. 대중은 언론을 통해 만해의 이미지를 받아 들였다. TV, 신문, 잡지, 라디오, 영화, 인터넷 등 미디어는 정보를 전송 한다. 근대화 초기에는 신문과 잡지가 주류를 이뤘다. 정보 전달은 물론 시대의 정신과 대중의 인식을 확인할 수 있는 중요한 도구이다. 이런 점 에서 언론에 등장한 한용운의 기사를 연구하여 분석하는 것은 의미가 있다. 앞서 언급했듯이 한용운은 독립운동에 참여해 민족의 고통을 극복하려고 했고, 승려로서 한국불교의 혁신을 꿈꾸었다. 깨달음을 구하는 승려의 본분도 발견할 수 있다. 한용운의 또 다른 삶은 문학인(文學人)이었다. 시대를 넘어 꾸준히 사랑받는 작품을 발표하면서 대중의 사랑을 받았다. 1945년 8월 15일 일제의 식민통치가 막을 내린 뒤에는 한용운의 이미지는 보다 구체화되고 확장되었다. 면모가 더욱 세밀하게 드러나고 매체를 통해 생생하게 전달되었다. 특히 일제의 박해와 기만에도 뜻을 굽히지 않고 끝까지 지조와 절개를 지켰다는 이미지가 대중에게 각인됐다. 불의와 비굴을 용납하지 않는 학덕이 높은 선승이며 타협이 없는 독립지사였다. 미디어에 나타난 한용운의 이미지를 보다 광범위하게 살피는 것은 앞으로의 연구화제이다.
본 연구는 중국 혹은 중국인 대상 제주의 우호적 이미지 확립을 위해 한반도 사드(THAAD)배치 전후, 중국 주요 언론매체와 인터넷 게시판에 대한 제주 이미지 분석을 실시하였으며, 온라인 공간에 게시된 텍스트를 대상으로 사회관계망분석(Social Network Analysis)을 통해 이를 구체화하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구의 주요목적은 객관적 수치에 근거한 연구방법을 활용하여 중국 내 제주지역 인지도 제고 방안을 모색하고, 제주의 지역경제를 활성화하는데 도움이 되고자 함에 있다.
The study aims to investigate the effects of media and self-image congruity of ideal body image on the dieting and exercising behaviors of Korean and U.S. female college students. This study focuses on the concept of self-image congruity in order to examine how respondents perceive actual and desired self-images compared to an ideal female body image selected by respondents. A self-administered survey was conducted, resulting in 331 total responses (194 from Korean students and 137 from U.S. students). The data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, t-test, exploratory factor analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 23.0. The findings revealed significant differences between Korean and U.S. female college students. U.S. students were more exposed to body image ideals in the media than Korean students; however, Korean female students valued the information regarding ideal body image conveyed by the media more than U.S. respondents. Among Korean female students, exposure to media messages regarding ideal body image and media importance had significant effects on desired self-image congruity, while these factors were not significant among U.S. students. However, there was a negative effect of media exposure on actual self-image congruity among U.S. respondents only. Additionally, the study uncovered that Korean students manage their body image through dieting behaviors while U.S. respondents manage body image through exercise behaviors (weight training as well as cardiovascular exercise). The study provides further support for self-image congruity, which extends its applications to the body image field.
This conceptual paper drew on the uses and gratifications theory to theorize about what drives consumers to engage in social media activation campaigns. This paper proposed that satisfying the needs for integration and social interaction, personal identity, information seeking, entertainment, and utilitarian reward through a social media activation campaign can enhance consumers‘ engagement with it. Finally the way in which cognitive, affective, and behavioral engagement with such campaigns affect brand image was explained theoretically. The developed conceptual framework can help marketing managers to create engaging social media activation campaigns, thereby improving the image of their brands.
This paper is an advanced work for the follow-up study 'Development of Teaching and Learning Programs of Intercultural Education in Universities Utilizing German and French Commercial Movies'. Before developing teaching and learning programs of intercultural education for undergraduates utilizing movies as one of the most typical digital image media in modern times, we try to review theoretical the utilizability of digital image media and game contents as very efficient tools of intercultural teaching and learning program. The breakthrough of digital information and communication technology, and the digital revolution leading to a paradigm shift in the history of mankind make the 21th century be called 'knowledge and information age'. The integrated and interactive communication way based on the development of digital technology has a great effect on recognition way, recognition pattern and recognition process of contemporary people. In addition, it is also changing human recognition per se. First of all, digital image media have caused not only the remarkable change of social and cultural environment, but also a revolutionary change of educational field. The digital image media are thought of as one of the most efficient communication media which can satisfy optical desires of humankind and realize multilateral and sympathetic interchanges utilizing other sense organs. Therefore, the digital image media are anticipated to be a very efficient tool of teaching and learning program. Through this theoretical review we try to emphasize the needs for the development of teaching and learning program of intercultural education utilizing digital image media and game contents.
The influence of digital media according to environmental change of multi-media came to have significance more than what we imagine. In accordance with high resolution of HDTV in digital media era, the cautious awareness is required for skin color by the immediate color such as replica of TV color, lighting and clothing. As for the broadcasting makeup expression technique caused by a change in broadcasting environment in the digital media era, the first, There is necessity for natural makeup technique, and for expressing the whole makeup evenly and very delicately. The makeup work gets much more delicate. For the delicate expression, more time is being required than the existing makeup time. Second, Lots of time and manpower are required for elaborate real-object processing on all the production fields such as background set, stage properties, and makeup. Third, Realistic expression is available on the screen. Importance of basic makeup is highlighted. Thus, even the skin care shop came to be prevalent. Development in only HD cosmetics is needed for foundation with fine particle in new material and with diverse colors hereafter. The video-media field is a method that is ignored a sense of distance through vehicles such as camera, picture tube, and several kinds of broadcasting machinery and equipment and that is delivered vividly to viewers through screen, unlike the stage makeup, thereby being needed the makeup technology proper for HDTV according to the changing broadcasting environment and media. The video machinery and equipment are proceeding with being gradually high-tech and precise. Thus, an expert in makeup needs to know common sense on the video machinery and equipment before makeup, and needs to make an effort according to it. And, a follow-up research can be said to be necessary on the advance in makeup method and on more diverse dedicated cosmetics along with a research on color tone proper for HDTV.
Today, environmental pollution and destruction due to the industrialization of our modern society have been the global issues. Although now we can lead affluent lives through science technologies and economic development, these environmental problems have resulted in striking the harmonious balance between human beings and nature and threatened human lives with abnormal weather caused by the global warming, destruction of the ozone layer, and El Nino phenomenon, acid rain, decrease in species diversity, movement of hazardous materials, and harmful waste increase. We are aware of the importance of environmental education, but in reality, it seems impossible to implement appropriate environmental education on account of our educational climate which exclusively focuses on the entrance examination. However, environmental education is the most ultimate solution for those problems in that only when students understand our environment fully and grow habits to protect it through environmental education, the present environmental problems can be solved and more serious problems that can be resulted in the future can possibly be prevented. Thus, this study has examined the effect of using image media in the environment subject on students’ environmental sensitivity. According to the results, it was shown that it had positive effects on ‘sensitivity of environment’, ‘attitudes towards environment’, and ‘environmental affinitive behaviors’.
