        In this study, the regression equation was suggested to predict of the shot ball velocity according to blade shapes based on discrete element (DE) analysis. First, the flat type blade DE model was used in the analysis, the validity of the DE model was verified by giving that the velocity of the shot ball almost equal to the theoretical one. Next, the DE analyses for curved and combined blade models was accomplished, and their analytical velocities of shot ball were compared with the theoretical one. The velocity of combined blade model was greatest. From this, the regression equation for velocity of shot ball according to the blade shape based on the DE analysis was derived. Additionally, the wind speed measurement experiment was carried out, and the experimental result and analytical one were the same. Ultimately, it was confirmed that the prediction method of the velocity of shot ball based on DE analysis was effective.

        PURPOSES : The objective of this study is to provide for the overall SPL (Sound Pressure Level) prediction model by using the NCPX (Noble Close Proximity) measurement method in terms of regression equations. METHODS: Many methods can be used to measure the traffic noise. However, NCPX measurement can powerfully measure the friction noise originated somewhere between tire and pavement by attaching the microphone at the proximity location of tire. The overall SPL(Sound Pressure Level) calculated by NCPX method depends on the vehicle speed, and the basic equation form of the prediction model for overall SPL was used, according to the previous studies (Bloemhof, 1986; Cho and Mun, 2008a; Cho and Mun, 2008b; Cho and Mun, 2008c). RESULTS : After developing the prediction model, the prediction model was verified by the correlation analysis and RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error). Furthermore, the correlation was resulted in good agreement. CONCLUSIONS: If the polynomial overall SPL prediction model can be used, the special cautions are required in terms of considering the interpolation points between vehicle speeds as well as overall SPLs.

        The earthquake risk prediction for dam structure has been considered as an important analysis. The dam has to interact with water in its lifetime, which maybe induces the chemo-mechanical phenomenon on the aging concrete and damage the capacity of the structure. The main aim of this research is to suggest a procedure to predict the operant condition of the dam based on Cumulative Absolute Velocity (CAV) values after some decades. CAV is a method ordinarily used in Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) fields, but in case of a concrete gravity dam, it will be the new addition along with the aging effect of concrete material.

        콘크리트구조물의 진단에 사용되는 비파괴실험법들은 구조물에 손상을 입히지 않고 구조물의 결함이나 강도를 추정할 수 있다는 장점이 있지만 추정값에 대한 신뢰성이 떨어진다는 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 2가지 배합으로 총 180개의 공시체를 제작하였고, P파와 S파에 의한 초음파속도 측정, 종진동과 변형진동에 의한 충격공진법 총 4가지의 비파괴실험을 실시하였다. 그리고 실제압축강도 측정을 통해 비파괴실험 결과값의 신뢰성을 비교 분석하였다. 각 비파괴실험법의 결과값에 대한 통계적 분석결과 변동계수값이 가장 낮은 실험법은 S파에 의한 초음파속도법으로 가장 안정적인 관측이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 실제압축강도와의 관계를 통해 압축강도 4개의 압축강도 추정식을 제안하였으며 S파에 의한 초음파속도법의 결정계수값이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 다양한 배합조건에 따른 비파괴실험 신뢰성에 대한 보완 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        현재 건설현장에서는 부순모래 콘크리트의 비파괴 강도 추정을 일반적으로 슈미트 해머를 이용한 반발경도법이나 초음파를 이용한 초음파속도법, 이 둘을 조합한 복합법을 이용하고 있으며 기존의 천연골재를 사용한 콘크리트에 의해 얻어진 여러 가지 제안식들에 적용시켜 추정하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 전형적인 파괴시험과 코어채취 그리고 초음파속도법을 이용하여 부순모래 콘크리트의 강도 추정식을 제안하고자 하였다. 실험의 변수는 양생재령과 양생조건 그리고 콘크리트의 설계기준강도이다.
