Background : Cynanchum wilfordii is a perennial species of climbing vine belonging to the family Asclepiadaceae. Cynanchum wilfordii native to Korea has been cultivated and used for medicine with tuber root. Prevalent furrow size is 20 ㎝ in height for Cynanchum wilfordii cultivation in Korea. This experiment was carried out to find out yield and commercial characteristics according to furrow height in cultivation of Cynanchum wilfordii.
Methods and Results : There were 4 furrow height of 10 ㎝, 20 ㎝, 30 ㎝, and 40 ㎝. Seedling transplanting was performed in early May with 40-day seedlings grown in pot from late March. Seedling establishment rates were similar as 96.7% - 99.7% in all treatments. Vine length, branch number, node number, stem diameter, leaf length, and leaf width were higher in furrow of 40 ㎝ and chlorophyll content was not significantly different according to furrow height. Main root number was more as 5.2 ea/plant in 20 ㎝ furrow and first lateral root number was more as 4.5 ea/plant but not significantly different in 20 ㎝ and 30 ㎝ furrow. Main root length was longer as 39.2 ㎝ and 37.0 ㎝ in 40 ㎝ and 30 ㎝ furrow height respectively. First lateral root length was longest as 25.0 ㎝ in 30 ㎝ furrow. Main root diameter was thicker as 24.9 ㎜ in 40cm furrow and thinner as 18.7 ㎜ in 10 ㎝ furrow. First lateral root diameter was thicker as 14.4 ㎜ in 20 ㎝ furrow and thinner as 11.2 ㎜ in 10 ㎝ furrow. Total yield and commercial yield in 40 ㎝ furrow were highest as 1,173 ㎏/10 a and 919 ㎏/10 a, 78.6% of total yield.
Conclusion : It was considered that higher total yield and commercial yield in 40 ㎝ furrow was resulted from better aerial part growth including vine length, branch number, node number, stem diameter, leaf length, and leaf width and bigger main tuber root size.

Direct seeding and seedling transplanting and tuber root seed (below ∅10 ㎜) planting have been performed for cultivation. This experiment was carried out to investigate growth and yield characteristics of Cynanchum wilfordii according to planting method.
Methods and Results : Direct-seeding and tuber root seed (TRS) planting were performed in early April and seedling transplanting with seedling grown for 40 days was performed in early may. TRS size was 2 – 3 ㎝ in length and 10 ㎜ and 20 ㎜ in diameter respectively. Seedling establishment rate was similar as 97.3% - 99.0% in all treatments. Vine length, branch number, node number and chlorophyll content were not significantly different in all treatments. Stem diameter, leaf length, and leaf width were higher in TRS planting. Main root number was more as 4.5 - 4.3 in seedling planting and TRS planting (∅20 ㎜) respectively but first lateral root number was not significantly different in all treatments. Root diameter was thicker as 23.3 ㎜ in TRS planting (∅20 ㎜). Total yield in TRS planting (∅20 ㎜) was higher as 1,041 ㎏/10 a, 25% increased compared to 830 ㎏/10 a of direct seeding and with higher commercial yield rate of 75.7%.
Conclusion : It was considered that higher total yield and commercial yield in TRS planting (∅20 ㎜) was resulted from bigger size of stem diameter, leaf length, and leaf width and bigger main root size related to root yield and commercial value.
Background : Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang is planting in April and harvest next April for the fourth season went through medicinal crops. This is why growth and impact on the quantity of additional fertilizer for application timing and amount of application is very important. To want to find out optimal method of additional fertilizer that can increase the quantity and quality application.
Methods and Results : So this study was designed in order to find out proper timing for application and amount of applied fertilizer. Timing for application were July, September, November (custom) and May, July, September and August, October, December. Amount of applied fertilizer were 7 ㎏, 13 ㎏, 19 ㎏ per 10 a. The result of an experiment, when In cultivation with timing for application was May, July, September and amount of applied fertilizer was 7 ㎏ per 10 a, In situation of growth and development, plant length was short and root length was long and number of plants was many than timing for application was August, October, December and amount of applied fertilizer was 19 ㎏ per 10 a. In addition, in quantity characteristics, tuberous root number was 44 to 68 more than 24 and tuberous root length and tuberous root thickness was long and thicker. When these growth and development situation and the quantity characteristics, yield was 275 ㎏ to 340 ㎏ more than 65 ㎏ per 10 a. That is 5.2 times.
Conclusion : In cultivation of Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang, when the timing for application quickly start in May and reducing the amount of applied fertilizer was yield increased 5.2 times.
Background : Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang are very sensitive to the excess moisture condition and dry crops. This is why the tuberous root is big and as many as the quantity for adequate water is needed. Study of proper bed width and hight to maintain optimal moisture for the high quality and yield.
Methods and Results : So this study was designed in order to find out proper bed Width and hight. Bed width were 80 ㎝, 100 ㎝, 120 ㎝ and hight were 10 ㎝, 15 ㎝, 20 ㎝. The result of an experiment, when cultivation with bed width 100 ㎝, hight 20 ㎝, In situation of growth and development, plant length and root length were long and number was plants was many than bed width 120 ㎝, hight 10 ㎝. In addition, in quantity characteristics, tuberous root number was 27 to 58 more than 31 and tuberous root length and tuberous root thickness was long and thicker. When these growth and development situation and the quantity characteristics, yield was 66 ㎏ to 252 ㎏ more than 186 ㎏ per 10 a.
Conclusion : In cultivation of Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang, when to maintain optimal moisture with bed width 100 ㎝, hight 20 ㎝ have been higher quality and yield than cultivation with bed width 120 ㎝, hight 10 ㎝.
Background : Currently sprout ginsengs are produced in extensive variations of cultivation times, methods and specifications that are different in each farm in Korea. Also, regardless the effective ingredient content of ginseng, overgrown sprout ginseng are distributed so that the quality standardization of sprout ginseng is urgently required. The sprout ginseng market is only a segment of the Korean ginseng market still. However, If development of processed products utilizing the functionalities is connected, the market may exponentially grow. Also, if the use of sprout ginseng is extended to productions of drinks, cosmetics, facial masks and others in the cosmetics and health functional food industries, the export competitiveness to the global market is expected to increase. Therefore, this study aims the quality standardization of sprout ginseng to secure the market competitiveness in Korea and overseas by examining the property change following the cultivation phases.
Methods and Results : For the overground growing in green houses, the sprout ginsengs planted in early April and early June show to be better in growing than the ones planted in early August. For the underground growing, while no significance is found among the cultivation periods, the sprout ginsengs planted in early June are excellent in terms of the root length and the weight of overground portion. Also, according to the examination on the stem properties of 2-year grown sprout ginsengs in each cultivation time, a trend that, as the growing period is longer from 25 days to 35 days, 45 days and 95 days, the hardness, gumminess, chewingness and springiness of stem are higher. And, on the hardness, gumminess, chewingness and springiness of leaf, while no statistically significance is found in the growing periods from 25 days to 45 days, the 95-day sprout ginsengs show high figures referring that the leaves becomes tougher.
Conclusion : In case of cultivating sprout ginsengs in a green house, cultivating in April - June is advantageous for the overground and underground growing. And, it is determined that cultivating sprout ginsengs for 35 - 45 days produces leaves and stems with the most excellent chewing textures felt by consumers when chewing.
최근 제주지역에서의 폐기물관리문제가 가장 심각한 지역현안중 하나로 부각되고 있다. 제주지역 내에서 폐기물관리에서 부각되고 있는 대표적 사안들은 페기물 배출량의 급격한 증가, 빨라지는 매립장 만적현상 등으로 나타나고 있다. 사업장폐기물 발생의 지속적 증가로 인해 야기되는 폐기물 매립장의 조기 만적 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 효율적 폐기물 관리정책이 긴요하다고 판단되어 지는 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 제주특별자치도내에서 배출되는 폐기물의 배출 특성과 전국평균치와 제주도간 폐기물 발생현황을 비교한다. 또한, 두 행정시인 제주시와 서귀포시에서 배출되는 사업장폐기물을 중심으로 폐기물 배출량과 처리량에 대한 현황분석과 이를 통한 효율적 폐기물 관리방안에 대한 논의를 한다. 폐기물관리의 효율성은 공공부문의 노력과 민간부문과의 협업을 통해 높아질 수 있다. 공공부문측면에서 볼 때 해당 지자체 공무원들로 하여금 강력하고 효과적인 폐기물감축을 위해 폐기물 배출자에 대한 관리와 가이드라인 제시를 할 수 있는 실재적 권한을 부여해야 할 필요성이 있다. 민간부문과의 협업측면에서는 폐기물총량제의 일환인 폐기물 매립권 거래제(Landfill Trade)를 생각해 볼 수 있다. 다시 말해, 시장 기구를 통해 가격으로 하여금 일정수준이상을 넘어서는 매립의 초과수요를 해소 할 수 있도록 하여 폐기물매립에 대한 최적의 효율을 달성 할 수 있도록 하는 것이다.
인구의 증가와 산업화는 돼지, 소, 닭 등의 육류 식품의 급격한 수요증가를 초래하여 축산폐수발생량 역시 증가하였다. 2012년 해양투기의 법적 금지는 축산폐수 발생량을 173,304m3/day에 이르게 하였고 지속적인 증가추세에 있다(2016, 환경부). 축산폐수는 고농도의 질소, 인, 유기물을 포함하므로 수계 노출 시 부영양화를 유발하여 인간의 생활과 보건에 혼란과 악영향을 초래한다. 이러한 문제해결을 위해 혐기성 생물공학기술, 화학적 산화기술 등이 적용되어 왔으나 고부하에 취약하고 높은 비용을 요구하는 한계를 지닌다. 최근 새로운 대안으로 미세조류를 활용한 처리방법이 주목받고 있는데, 그 이유는 광독립영양 성장을 하는 미세조류의 특성상 빛에서 에너지를 얻어 경제적으로 지속가능하고 CO2를 탄소원으로 이용하여 탄소중립적으로 폐수 내의 고농도의 질소와 인을 동시에 처리할 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 축산폐수내의 고농도의 유기물 및 영양염류를 동시에 가장 효과적으로 제거 가능한 미세조류를 문헌조사하여 대상 미세조류의 적용 타당성을 평가하였고, 최적 종을 선정하기 위한 성능평가 및 성장저해 분석을 수행하였다. 문헌조사를 통해 선정된 Scenedesums quadricauda, Scenedesums obliquus, Chlorella sorokiniana 을 28℃ 인큐베이터에서 500mL bottle의 용량으로 Phototrophic 조건(연속 빛조사)과 Mixotrophic 조건(16hr light-8hr dark 주기 반복)으로 Batch test를 진행하였고 그 결과를 성장 동역학적으로 해석하여 최적 종을 제시하였다. 실험은 BG-11을 대조구(Control)로 하여 미세조류의 cell counting결과를 바탕으로 비성장률(specific growth rate)을 도출한 결과 0.293 hr-1 (Scenedesums quadricauda), 0.302 hr-1(Scenedesums obliquus), 0.243 hr-1(Chlorella sorokiniana) 로 밝혀져 Scenedesums obliquus 가 가장 빠른 성장속도를 보였고, 축산폐수를 원수, 2배, 5배, 10배 희석을 하여 미세조류를 배양했을 때에도 최적의 유기물 및 영양염류 제거가 가능함을 보였다. 본 연구는 최적미세조류를 활용한 축산폐수 처리가 저에너지를 사용하며 기후변화에 대응하고 지속가능한 고농도 축산폐수처리 방법이 될 수 있음을 입증 하였다.
The purpose of this study was to confirm the applicability of aerobic granular sludge (AGS) in the advanced sewage treatment process. Simulated influent was used in the operation of a laboratory scale reactor. The operation time of one cycle was 4 h and the reactor was operated for six cycles per day. The volume exchange ratio was 50%. The influent was injected in divisions of 25% to increase the removal efficiency of nitrogen in every cycle. As a result, the removal efficiencies of CODCr and TN in this reactor were 98.2% and 76.7% respectively. During the operation period, the AGS/MLVSS concentration ratio increased from 70.0% to 86.7%, and the average SVI30 was 67 mL/g. The SNR and SDNR were 0.073 0.161 kg NH4 +-N/kg MLVSS/day and 0.071 0.196 kg NO3 --N/kg MLVSS/day respectively. These values were higher or similar to those reported in other studies. The operation time of the process using AGS is shorter than that of the conventional activated sludge process. Hence, this process can replace the activated sludge process.
Background: Gastrodia elata Blume is a saprophytic perennial plant in the Orchidaceae family, because of its agricultural and medicinal effectiveness, researchers focus on its genome and chemical components. However, cytogenetic information based on the chromosome structure and composition to construct chromosomal backbone for genome sequencing research and for the development and breeding of plants is very limited.
Methods and Results: We determined the metaphase chromosome composition of the G. elata genome by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) using 5S and 45S rDNAs and telomeric repeat probes. The nuclear genome of G. elata was organized into 2 n = 36, with relatively small (2.71 - 5.50㎛)chromosomes that showed gradual decrease in size. Conglutination phenomenon was observed among the metaphase chromosomes, and it was distinguished from that in other plant metaphase chromosome spreads. One pair of signal was detected for each 5S and 45S rDNA in the pericentromeric region and interstitial region on the short arm of chromosomes 10 and 4, respectively, and telomeric DNA signals were detected in the terminal region of most chromosomes.
Conclusions: To our knowledge, this is the first FISH chromosome composition result in G. elata and could be useful in more comprehensive molecular cytogenetic and genomic analyses as well as breeding programs of the medicinal plant G. elata.
In the case of the port mooring facility, jetties with piles are mainly applied in soft ground conditions. In the three-dimensional modeling for the structural analysis of jetties with piles, the boundary conditions between the pile and the ground are universally applied to the Approximate depth of pile supported method and Elastic subgrade reaction spring method. In this study, p-y curve data for the pile ground condition was generated using the LPILE program, and then the nonlinear spring considering the p-y curve as the pile and ground boundary condition was input and analyzed in the 3D modeling of jetties with piles using the MIDAS civil And the necessity of applying the Nonlinear subgrade reaction spring method by comparison with the result and the analysis result according to the existing analysis method is suggested.
This paper presents a convolutional neural network to automatically conduct the peak picking in frequency domain of structural responses. The peaks in frequency domain have a high potential to be the natural frequencies, which are one of the important indicator to be used for structural health monitoring purposes, such as damage detection, cable tension estimation, and finite element model updating. In general, the peaks with the corresponding natural frequencies are manually selected by the users from the frequency domain. Although this previous approach is possible to simply extract the candidate of natural frequencies, it is inappropriate in the practical applications of the long-term monitoring and the implementation for wireless smart sensor. To overcome the drawbacks, this study proposes the convolutional neural network that can automatically identify the peaks with the corresponding natural frequencies from the frequency domain of structural responses.
마이클 톰프슨은 고물이론(Rubby Theory)에서 [경제적 가치와 직접적인 연관을 가진 사물의 유형은 세 가지 기호학적인 유형으로 설명할 수 있다. 사물은 고물, 일시적 문화가치, 영속적 문화가치로 구분되며 각 범주에서 이동도 가능하며 이때 가치도 변화한다]고 했다. 연구자는 선행연구에서 마이클 톰프슨의 고물이론에 근거해 일시적 또는 영속적 문화적 산물로 분류할 수 있는 기준을 제시하였고 그 기준은 감각, 감성, 인지, 행동, 관계를 분석하는 전략적 체험 모듈에 근거했다. 본 연구는 지역의 활력과 정체성을 회복하고, 새로운 가치 창출을 위해 계획된 공공미술이나 디자인 사례들을 국내외로 나누어 조사를 실시하였으며 그 사례들을 중심으로 지속가능한 영속적 문화가치를 가진 대상인지 아니면 일시적 가치를 가지다가 고물로 치부될 것인지를 검증하고 그 기준을 제안하고자 했다. 공공조형물사례는 셀 수 없이 많으나 지역의 정체성이나 특산물 등 랜드마크로서의 조형물을 대상으로 국내외 각 10 건의 사례들을 조사 분석했으며 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 국내사례의 경우 지역의 정체성을 살리고 관광객을 유치한다는 목표 아래 2000년대 초반부터 경쟁적으로 만들어진 공공조형물들은 그 규모와 예산이 거대화 되어가고 있으나 예술적 표현이나 조형적 아름다움은 대중의 미적욕구를 따라가지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 또한, 대부분 특산품이 그 대상이며 지역의 역사적 지리 환경적 연관 없는 경우도 많아 지역주민으로부터 공감을 유도하지 못하고 예산 낭비라는 따가운 비판까지 받기도 한다. 국외사례의 경우 우리나라처럼 특산물을 대상으로 천편일률적 기획이 이루지는 것이 아닌, 지역의 역사적 배경이나 적극적이고 통합적인 지역적 특성을 활용하여 지역 활성화를 도모하고 있으며, 뛰어난 예술적 감각과 방식을 적극적으로 이용하고 있다. 공공조형물이 영속적 문화 산물이 되기 위한 조건은 감각의 예술성, 감성의 능동성, 관계의 공공성이 있어야 할 것이다. 대안적 방향성을 좀 더 세부적으로 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공공조형물은 예술적 가치가 뛰어나야 하며 뛰어난 예술성으로 인해 대중의 미적요구를 만족시키거나 예술적 시각을 끌어올릴 수 있어야 한다. 둘째, 대중이 공공조형물에 능동적이고 적극적으로 다가갈 수 있도록 유도해야 하며, 대중들이 감동을 느낄 수 있어야 하는 동시에 즐거움과 기쁨을 느낄 수 있는 공감대 형성이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 공공조형물이 위치하는 장소와 필연적 연관성이 있거나 대상물이 주변 환경속에 자연스럽게 조화되어야 한다. 본 연구는 2000년대부터 경쟁적으로 생겨난 국내의 공공조형물들이 세대를 거듭할 수 있는 지속가능한 문화가치를 가진 대상인지 검증하고 우수한 사례들과의 비교분석을 통해 객관적인 판단의 기회를 얻고 더욱 발전하는 계기가 될 것으로 판단된다.
활석은 T-O-T 구조의 함수 마그네슘 층상규산염 광물로서, 화학적 안정성과 흡착성 등의 특성을 가지고 있어 다양한 산업분야에서 첨가제, 코팅제 등으로 활용되어 왔다. 최근 나노 복합체의 안정성 향상을 위한 첨가제로서 활석 나노입자가 각광받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고에너지 볼 밀을 이용하여 기계적인 방법으로 활석 나노입자를 형성하고, 분쇄시간에 따른 입자크기 및 결정도의 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. X-선 회절 분석 결과, 분쇄가 진행됨에 따라 활석의 피크 폭이 점진적으로 증가하여720분 분쇄 후, 활석은 비정질에 가까운 X-선 회절패턴을 보여준다. 레이저회절 입도 분석 결과, 약12 μm이었던 활석의 입도는 분쇄가 진행됨에 따라 약 0.45 μm까지 감소하였으나, 120분 이상 분쇄를진행하여도 뚜렷한 입도의 감소가 관찰되지 않았다. 반면, BET 비표면적은 분쇄 720분까지 꾸준히 증가하여, 분쇄에 따른 입도 또는 형태의 변화가 지속적으로 일어남을 지시한다. 주사전자현미경 및 투과전자현미경 관찰 결과, 720분 분쇄 후 약 100~300 nm 내외의 층상형 입자들이 마이크로 스케일의응집체로 존재함을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 결과는 분쇄시간이 증가함에 따라 활석의 입자크기 및 형태는 지속적으로 변화하지만, 나노입자의 특성상 재응집이 일어나 마이크로 크기의 응집체를 형성하고 있음을 지시한다. 또한 활석의 분쇄에서 판의 크기, 즉 a축, b축 방향의 길이는 감소 한계가 존재하며, 분쇄가 진행될수록 판의 두께, 즉 c축 방향의 길이 감소가 주된 분쇄 메커니즘으로 생각된다. 본연구의 결과는 나노 활석의 형성 메커니즘에 대한 이해를 고양할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
현수교 주 케이블은 케이블 밴드의 볼트 축력에 대한 정기적인 유지 관리가 매우 중요하다. 현수교 케이블 밴드의 볼트 축력은 시간이 경과함에 따라 케이블 소선의 크리프 현상, 볼트의 릴렉세이션, 하중 변동, 케이블 소선의 재배열 등으로 인해 축력 감소 현상이 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 국내 현수 교량(SR대교)의 케이블 밴드가 시간이 경과하면서 발생하는 축력 감소 현상에 대해 그 원인 및 감소량 등에 대한 현장 측정 및 이론적 검토, 안전율 검토, 장기적인 이력 관리 등을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 케이블 밴드 볼트 축력 감소는 주 케이블 소선에 사용된 아연 도금층의 소성 변형에 크게 영향받는 것을 확인하였으며, 이에 대한 이론적 체계 및 장기 이력 관리에 대한 적용성을 확립하였다.
This study was carried out to investigate the vascular plants of Mt. Bulmyeongsan in Jeollabuk-do from April 2015 to October 2016. The vascular plants were summarized as 433 taxa, including 100 families, 290 genera, 382 species, 4 subspecies, 38 varieties and 9 forms. Among the investigated 433 taxa, 5 Korean endemic plants and 4 rare and endangered plants were included. The floristic regional indicator plants found in this area were 1 taxa of grade IV, 10 taxa of grade III, 3 taxa of grade II and 19 taxa of grade I. Naturalized plants consisted of 28 taxa that made up 6.5% of the total vascular plants in this area.
Background: Angelica gigas, A. sinensis, and A. acutiloba are commercially important in the herbal medicine market, and among them, A. gigas has the highest economic value and price. However, their similar morphological traits are often used for fraud. Despite their importance in herbal medicine, recognition of the differences between Angelica species is currently inadequate. Methods and Results: A multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method was developed for direct detection and identification of A. gigas, A. sinensis, and A. acutiloba. The gene for the distinction of species was targeted at ITS in the nucleus and trnC-petN gene in chloroplasts. The optimized multiplex PCR in the present study utilized each Angelica species-specific primer pairs. Each primer pair yielded products of 229 base pairs (bp) for A. gigas, 53 bp for A. sinensis, 170 bp for A. acutiloba. Additionally non-specific PCR products were not detected in similar species by species-specific primers. Conclusions: In the present study, a multiplex-PCR assay, successfully assessed the authenticity of Angelica species (A. gigas, A. sinensis, and A. acutiloba). and whole genome amplification (WGA) was performed after DNA extraction to identify, the species in the product. The detection method of raw materials developed in the present study could be applied to herbal medicine and health functional food management.
Both the propagation velocity and the direction of atmospheric waves are important factors for analyzing and forecasting meteo-tsunami. In this study, a total of 14 events of meteo-tsunami over 11 years (2006-2016) are selected through analyzing sea-level data observed from tidal stations along the west coast of the Korean peninsula. The propagation velocity and direction are calculated by tracing the atmospheric disturbance of each meteo-tsunami event predicted by the WRF model. Then, the Froude number is calculated using the propagation velocity of atmospheric waves and oceanic long waves from bathymetry data. To derive the critical condition for the occurrence of meteo-tsunami, supervised learning using a logistic regression algorithm is conducted. It is concluded that the threshold distance of meteo-tsunami occurrence, from a propagation direction, can be calculated by the amplitude of air-pressure tendency and the resonance factor, which are found using the Froude number. According to the critical condition, the distance increases logarithmically with the ratio of the amplitude of air-pressure tendency and the square of the resonance factor, and meteo-tsunami do not occur when the ratio is less than 5.11 hPa/10 min.
This study was conducted to evaluate natural plant extracts for methane gas reduction in ruminants. Rumen fluid was collected from cannulated Hanwoo cow (450±30 kg) consuming 400 g/kg concentrate and 600 g/kg timothy. The 15 ml of mixture comparing McDougall’s buffer and rumen fluid in the ratio 2 to 1, was dispensed anaerobically into 50 ml serum bottles. Rumen fluid contents were collected and in vitro fermentation prepared control (timothy, 300 mg), ginseng, balloon flower, yucca plant, camellia, tea plant and ogapi extracts were added at the level of 5% against 300 mg of timothy as a substrate (v/w) and incubated for 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h. In vitro pH values range 6.55~7.41, this range include rumen titration. The dry matter digestibility was not differ between all treatments and control. Total gas emission was significantly higher (p<0.05) in ginseng and balloon flower treatments on 24 h than in control. Carbon dioxide emission was not differ all treatments on 9 h than in control and significantly higher (p<0.05) yucca plant, camellia and tea plant treatments on 12 h than control. Methane emission was not differ all treatments on 6 h than in control. The rumen microbial growth rate was significantly higher (p<0.05) in ginseng, balloon flower on 12 h and significantly higher (p<0.05) in ginseng, yucca plant, tea plant and ogapi treatments on 24 h than in control. Total VFA was significantly higher (p<0.05) in tea plant and ogapi treatments on 12 h than in control and significantly higher (p<0.05) in ginseng, balloon flower treatments on 48 h than in control. Acetic acid was significantly lower (p<0.05) in ginseng and balloon flower treatments on 24 h than in control. Propionic acid was significantly higher (p<0.05) in ginseng and balloon flower treatments on 48 h than in control. As a results, sixth natural plant extracts had no significant effect dry matter digestibility and negative on rumen fermentation, but not effect methane reduction.
This study evaluated the quality characteristics, polyphenolic compounds, and radical scavenging activity of cooked-rice added to commercially available mixed grains. L-value of cooked-rice with various mixed grains decreased compared to that of cooked-white rice; however, a- and b-values increased. Hardness and elasticity of cooked-rice added to various mixed grains were significantly lower in the pressure cooker compared to the electric cooker. There was no significant difference in adhesiveness and stickiness between rice from the electric cooker and pressure cooker. Total polyphenol and flavonoid contents of cooked-rice added to various mixed grains were significantly increased. The average total polyphenol content of cooked-rice added to various mixed grains cooked in an electric cooker and pressure cooker were 16.50 ± 3.86 and 15.88 ± 3.52 mg gallic acid equivalent /100 g, and flavonoid contents were 1.58 ± 0.00 and 1.55 ± 0.02 mg catechin equivalents/100 g, respectively. The average of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity was 9.27 ± 2.62 and 8.72 ± 2.41 mg trolox equivalent (TE)/100 g, and 2,2’-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) radical scavenging activity was 22.89 ± 4.60 and 23.07 ± 4.49 mg TE/100 g for cooked-rice added to various mixed grains cooked in an electric cooker and pressure cooker, respectively. Phenol content and radical scavenging activity of cooked rice was in proportion to the amount of added grains, such as brown rice, colored rice, barley, soybean, and sorghum.
피부 특성은 다양한 내부 또는 외부 요인의 영향을 받는다. 이 연구는 아시아 여성들의 피부 특성을 조사 및 비교하기 위해 수행되었다. 우리는 7개국(말레이시아, 인도네시아, 베트남, 태국, 인도, 중국 및 한국)에서 1,500명의 아시아인의 피부 물리적 변수 및 지역 간 차이를 평가하였다. 경피 수분 손실, pH, 피부 수분, 피지 함량, 피부 민감도, 탄력, 눈가 주름 및 피부 밝기의 값을 측정하였다. 인도 여성들은 다른 국가들의 여성들보다 피부 수분량, 피지량 및 민감도 점수가 낮게 나타났고, 더 어두운 피부색을 갖는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한, 모든 부위의 피부 표면 pH는 7개국 중 가장 높게 나타났다. 베트남인은 가장 낮은 수치의 피부 표면 pH 값을 보였다. 한국인과 중국인은 일반적으로 탄력성이 높고 적은 눈가 주름을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 피부 수분과 경피 수분 손실량은 민감도와 양의 상관 관계가 있었으며, 주름과 민감도 간에는 음의 상관 관계가 있었다. 본 연구 결과는 해당 지역이나 지역과 관련된 명확한 추세는 없었다. 피부 물리적 매개 변수는 지역적 차이에 대한 이해와 함께 다양한 요인(피부 관리 습관, 라이프스타일 및 개인 민감도)에 대한 연구도 함께 진행되어야 할 것이다.
