        The stratigraphy and evolution of the intertidal deposit of Gunhung Bay, west coast of Korea, have been studied by analyzing surface sediments, core sediments and subbottom profiles. The surficial sedimentary facies consists of upper mudflat, mixedflat and lower mudflat from high tide level to low tide level. The tidal deposit above the acoustic basement is 5 - 20m thick and can be divided into two sedimentary sequences by a mid-reflector. The boundary of them is identified by long core data. The lower sedimentary unit (sequence B) consists of semi-consolidated, brown sandy muds and is interpreted to be deposisted during Riss-Wurm interglacial period. The upper sedimentary unit(sequence A), which overlies the sequence B unconformably, is about 10m thick and consists of Holocene intertidal sediments. The sequence A consists of mudflat facies at lower part and mixedflat facies at upper part. It indicates that the sequence A is a transgressive sequence. Many V-shaped erosional patterns at the unconformable contact of sequence A and sequence B indicate the existence of old tidal channels formed during the low sea level of the last glacial period. The long-term accumulation rate of sequence A is considered to be 2㎜/yr from core data and it is coincident with the accumulation rate determined by Pb-210 for the PVC core.

        본 연구에서는 전달영향계수법의 개념을 사각형 평판의 자유진동해석에 적용하여, 그 계산결과들을 전달매트릭스법 및 엄밀해 또는 Leissa 방법의 결과와 비교하여 그 유용성을 확인하였다. 전달영향계수법은 전달매트릭스법으로는 구하기 곤란한 고차의 고유진동수에 대해서도 정도좋게 구할 수 있으며, 계산속도의 면에서도 전달매트릭스법보다 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 전달영향계수법은 모든 경계조건 및 중간 경탄성 지지조건도 전단 및 회전 스프링정수 값의 조절만으로 간편하게 대응시킬수 있었다

        직선상 2층 구조물의 임의의 절점에 변위벡터가 불연속인 죠인트 요소를 갖는 경우, 면내 굽힘 자유진동을 해석하기 위한 알고리즘을 전달영향계수법에 의해 정식화하고, 간단한 모델에 의해 수치실험을 행한 결과, 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. (1) 전달영향계수법은 종래의 전달매트릭스법에 비해 계산정도 및 계산속도 양면에서 우수함을 확인할 수 있다. (2) 구조물의 임의의 중간 절점에서 상태벡터량(횡변위, 각변위, 전단력 및 모멘트 등) 중 일부의 물리량이 불연속성을 갖더라도, 알고리즘 자체를 변화시켜야 하는 전달매트릭스법과는 달리, 스프링전수 값의 조절만으로 간단히 처리할 수 있어, 알고리즘의 일반화 및 프로그램의 범용화가 가능하다. (3) 전달영향계수법에서는, 구조물의 중간에 반고정지지와 같은 단단한 탄성지지부가 다수 존재하는 경우에도, 기본적인 알고리즘을 변경할 필요 없이 전단 및 회전 스프링정수에 적당한 값을 대입하는 것만으로 중간조건에 대응시킬 수 있고, 모든 경계조건도 마찬가지로 처리할 수 있다.

        This study was surveyed by 192 male and 238 female eating-out behaviours about western food in Seoul. The results were summarized as follows : The recognition degree about the western food was 14.2% in 「Know well」, 54.8% in 「Know somewhat」, 25.3% in 「Not know」 and was observed significance by sex, food expenses and dine-out expenses. The recognition degree about western food was observed more highly than expected and would be further more highly with westernized dietary culture. The information of concern and knowledge about western food was taken by mass-communication, book, school education, etc. and the answer marked significance by sex, age, school career. The majority of subjects had chosen Korean restaurants in dining-out and the western restaurants were favorable to twenties(20∼29) and thirties(30∼39). The frequency of western restaurants visits was 46% in 「1∼3times/month」, 39% in 「several times/year」 and the answer of frequency had significance by age, food expenses, and dine-out expenses. The choice of western A la carte menu restaurants was chicken restaurant(28%), cutlet restaurant(24%), hamburger R. (13%), pizza R. (19%), Spaghetti R. (9%). Hamburger restaurants were favorable to twenties and the majority of pizza restaurant chosen were high level by monthly income. Content to be improved in western food was 68% in 「proper taste in Korean」. Western cook should be improved properly in Korean tasting.

        This study was attempted to establish the basic data for effective utilization of the dried radish and sweet potato. The rehydration characteristic was carried out from these dried root vegetables in various conditions. The following results were obtained. The rehydration value was increased in glycine solution, whereas it decreased in lactic acid solution. Also the vacuum freezing was higher than that in hot air drying, and it was higher the slow freezing than in the quick freezing. The rehydration rate and the rehydration surface area curve were composed of three stages, and these stages were corresponded to each other. At the range of initial immersion to 2min. , the largest rehydration rate was showed. The activation energy obtained from the Arrhenius plot of the rehydration rate constant(K) were 3.8×10 exp (3)㎈/g ㏖ and 3.7×1010 exp (3)㎈/g ㏖ for dried radish and sweet potato, respectively.

        Anagrus incarnatus의 발육에 미치는 온도의 효과를 조사한 결파 다음파 같은 결과를 얻었다. 난에서 부터 성충이 우화되어 나올 때까지의 발육기간을 조사한 결과 , , 에서 각각 21.5일, 13.6일, 10.6일이 소요되었으며 온도와 발육속도간에는 높은 상관관계 (r = 0.99**)가 있었다. 발육임계온도는 였고 유효적산용도는 210.3일도였다 .. 25 (16L:8D) 조건하에서 기주의 종류를 달리 하였을 때 발육기간은 벼멸구난에서 12.4 일, 흰등멸구 12.5일, 애멸구 12.1일로 나타나 기주간에는 차이가 없었다. 벼멸구 난의 발육 단계에 따른 발육기간은 1, 3, 5, 7일된 난에서 각각 12.5, 12.1, 12.5, 12.9일로서 7일된 난 에서 조금 길어지는 경향을 보였다. 25 (16L: 8D) 조건하에서 꿀을 제공 하였을 때 기생봉성충 수명은 평균 5.3일 이었다. 난소 속의 장란수는 34.8 2.8개, 실제 산란수 28.3 0.6개였고 일별 산란수는 우화 후 1, 2, 3, 4일에 각각 17.8, 7.0, 3.3, 0.2개 였다. A. incarnatus는 우화 후 1일 이내 총산란의 63.3%를 산란하였다.

        본 연구에서는 입형펌프의 기초부에 4종류의 여진력이 작용하는 경우의 입형펌프 각 부분에 진동변위, 속도 및 가속도에 대한 시간응답특성을 해석하였으며, 여진형태에 따른 입형펀펌프의 거동을 구명하였고, 진동 해석 프로그램을 개발하였다. 선박용뿐만 아니라 해저광물 채취용 수중펌프 및 육상발전 플랜트 등에 사용되는 각종 입형펌프의 기초여진 문제에 대한 과도응답을 평가함으로서 동적거동을 예지할 수 있을 것이다.

        Abnormalities of structure and morphology of chromosomes concentrated with genetic materials, DNA, are directly related to phenotypical performances of animals. So, cytogenetical research in domestic animals is important to prevent congenital deformity and improve genetic performances. Especially utilities of egg transfer technique combined with cytogenetical study can be accelerated by the wide spread of the best genetic sources dependent on the micromanipulation and sexing of eggs.

        The P-wave refraction prospecting was carried out using the 12 channel enhancement seismograph in Reclaimed Land Region A of Cheonsu Bay, which has been stabilized for agriculture by Hyundai Construction Co. since 1984. The subsurface layer structure was interpreted in terms of the seismic velocity of sediments, the depths of the velocity boundaries estimated from timedistance curves of 6 prospecting lines and the drilling core data in adjacent sites. The velocity distribution of subsurface layer is divided into the 1st layer, the 2nd one, the 3rd one and the deepest one, and their velocity ranges are respectively less than 800 m/s, 800-1700 rNs, 1700-2700 rNs and more than 2700 m/s. The 1 st layer is aeration zone, the 2nd one Cheonsuman Formation deposited in the Holocene intertidal environment, the 3rd one the semi-consolidated Pre-Holocene Kanweoldo Formation and weathered zone of the baserock, and the deepest one the base-rock of schist or granite. In general, the thickness of the 1st layer is about 2 m, the 2nd one 5-20 m and the 3rd one 15-22 m. The estimated depth to the base-rock varies locally from 22 m to 33 m and on the whole increases as it comes near the lake.

        This study was conducted to gather the baseline data on realities of experimental-practice and opinions toward spot-practice, and to examine how to cope with the problems raised at the Department of Food and Nutrition of Junior Technical College in Korea. Ouestionairs were gathered from 42 chairmans of the Department of Food and Nutrition and 140 present dieticians worked in Seoul, Bucheon and Seongnam area. The results are as follows, First, as a whole, each college had 2∼3 experimental laboratory (Lab), in which Cooking Science Lab, Chemistry Lab and Microbiology Lab were occured at higher frequency as Lab`s name. Second, the numbers per experimental-practice class were more than 40 at most colleges. 85% of present dieticians have answered to feel too much numbers per the class during their college days, whereas professors` opinions toward the numbers per class were suitable at 20∼30 persons per class. Third, professors` opinion toward the adquate ratio of the theory subject classes to experimental subject classes was suitable at 60 : 40. Dieticians answered to take the theory subject classes partly or mostly on behalf of the experimental-practice classes. Fourth, the main reasons which inhibited normal experimental-practice class were the class for emphasis on examination, the shortage of experiment budget, the excess of class members, the shortage of experimental Lab. Also, this results showed same propensity to present dieticians` opinion toward the same question above. Fifth, among the experimental-practice subjects established at the Department of Food and Nutrition, Diet Therapy Lab was highest frequency class emphasized on theory followed by Nutrition Counselling Lab, Food Processing and Storage Lab, Food Hygiene Lab and Food Microbiology Lab in that order. Here, Basic Chemistry Lab, Biochemistry Lab, Food Microbiology Lab were pointed as subjects far from the present task of dieticians. Sixth, Department of Food and Nutrition, as a whole, has conferred with spot-practice arrangement. About 50% (all who want to join spot-practice) of second year students took part in spot-practice. In the other way, all colleges except for 2 colleges didn`t give the credit for the spot-practice system. Seventh, according to the on analysis on spot-practice places, manufacturing company was at highest frequency followed by hospitals, elementary school having group feeding system in that order. Especially, 16.7% (5 colleges) of the total colleges sent the students to the research institute related to food industry for spot-practice experience. Eighth, Professors` opinions toward the spot-practice time and periord were preferable on summer vacation of second year and for 1∼2 weeks, respectively. On the contrary, 74 dieticians answered to the adquate period as for 4 weeks. Ninth, 86 dieticians of the total 140 answered to complete the spot-practice during their college days, which helps the present task of them. Lacks of spot-practice program, Lacks of comprehension of upper personnels and lacks of group feeding equipments ranks higher as difficulties in spot-practice management.

        광학성체인 isopropylidene glycerols로 부터 mercaptogiycerol을 합성하였다. 1,2-Isopropylideneglycerol을 tosyl화 하고 다시 tosyl group을 thiolacetate로 치환하였다. 염기성 가수분해와 산화에 의해 1,1'-dithiobis-2,3-isopropylidene-2,3-propanediol이 생성되었다. 이 화합물을 mercaptogiycerol 합성을 위해 사용함으로써 1-decenyl lithium으로 cis-S-dec-1'-enyl-2,3-isopropylidene-1-mercapto-2,3-propanediol을 생성하였다. 본 생성물은 plasmalogenase용 thioplasmaloger 기질 조제에 사용된다.
