Quality system management adapted by small and medium enterprises in Kangwon province to enhance the competitiveness was studied. Variance analysis on several questionnaire answers was performed. Motives for acquiring the accreditation, such as product export, adjustment to international trend, enhancement of brand/product recognition, CEO's mind change, and management innovation, have been changed significantly among business types. Mind changes after the accreditations were setting company's first priority on quality, enhanced recognition on compliance of in-house standards and regulations, employee's performance with the recognition of quality. Amongst service problems to maintain the ace reditations were difficulties in maintaining the recognition of the company's finality management, labor increase to maintain the ISO 9000 enforcement team, and financial burden to keep the accreditation. Quality recognition after the accreditations was significantly improved in setting company's first priority on quality, enhanced recognition on compliance of in-house standards and regulations, employee's performance with the recognition of quality.

이 연구의 목적은 제7차 교육과정의 선택 중심 교육과정에 관한 학생들에 인식과 그 운영실태의 문제점을 알아보는데 있다. 대상은 고등학교 3개교의 10, 11학년(485명)이며 결과는 다음과 갔다. 첫째, 학생이 장래 직업에 대한 확고한 결정이 없이(29%), 선택 중심 교육과정에 대하여 충분히 교육을 받지 못하거나(45%) 선택 중심 교육과정에 대한 정확한 내용을 인지하지 못한(25%) 상태에서 교과 선택이 이루어지고 있다. 둘째, 학생들은 선택 중심 교육과정에 대한 필요성에 긍정적(65%)이거나, 수업에 대한 참여도가 높아졌다(96%)고 생각하고 있어 선택 중심 교육과정에 대한 긍정적인 생각을 가진 것으로 나타났으나, 선택 중심교육과정에 대한 실현 가능성에는 39%의 학생들만이 긍정적인 생각을 가지고 있었다. 셋째, 학생들은 대학 진학의 필요성에 따라 교과를 선택하고(48%), 대학에 진학하기 위하여 자신이 원하는 교과를 모두 선택할 것이라고 응답하였다(41%). 넷째, 과학 과목의 선택은 화학 40%, 생물 25%, 물리 22%, 지구과학 13%순으로 나타났으며, 자신이 선택한 교과목을 바꿀 수도 있다고 생각한 학생이 74%이다. 위의 결과는 학생들이 7차 교육과정의 취지는 인식하고 있으나 과학과목의 선택에서는 자신의 장래나 적성이 고려되지 않고 대학 진학에 따른 해당 대학의 요구와 학교 헌장의 과학교사 분포에 좌우되고 있음을 보여주고 있다.

With the increasing prevalence of e-learning courses in higher education, it is important to investigate how the courses are being run and examine students’ perceptions of e-learning courses to provide an optimal learning environment. An end-of-course, summative evaluation and log files in an e-learning system were used in order to describe the characteristics and students’ perceptions of three e-learning English courses in a university. The section of background information in the evaluation showed that the majority of the students taking the courses are seniors, majoring in humanities and social sciences. Factors were found to influence students’ satisfaction with the courses such as use of various multimedia, interactions between instructor and students, and among students, and instructors’ evaluation of students’ achievement. A post-hoc analysis showed evidence significant differences existed by course. These findings of the study suggest that quality assurance is an issue in setting and managing e-learning English courses, which are expected to grow rapidly in a near future due to students’ increasing need for e-learning.

Ministry of Justice in Korea established an 『Act of International Transfers of Prisoners』 in December 2003 and joined to the 『Convention of the Transfer of Sentenced Persons』 agreed by Council of Europe this year. This will enable Korean government to bring Korean nationals who serve their criminal sentences in foreign countries into Korea and, at the same time, to transfer foreign prisoners who serve their sentences in Korean facilities to their homeland. The purpose of the international transfers of prisoners is to bring the nationals who serve their criminal sentences in foreign countries into the homeland to minimize the suffering from cultural differences such as language, food and custom that exacerbate the harshness of confinement. The procedures of international transfer of prisoners can be summarized as follows; First, the prisoners must give an agreement on their transfer to the homeland. Second, the offence that resulted in a given sentence in a foreign country must also constitute an offence by a relevant domestic law Third, two corresponding countries must agree on the transfer of prisoner on an individual basis. Fourth, after transferring to the homeland, the prisoner must serve the remainder of his sentence in a domestic facility. Finally, the decisions of release on parole or pardon must rely on the domestic legal criteria. By introducing the system of transfer of prisoners among different countries, correctional policy in Korea shows a great advance in terms of the values of rehabilitation and reintegration as well as protections of prisoner's rights. Not only practitioners but also scholars in this field should show their interests in this subject.

이 연구에서는 낙도보조항로의 운영실태와 발달과정에 대하여 정리하였다. 낙도보조항로는 14개 사업자가 U개 항로에서 총 30척 선박으로 낙도주민을 위한 안정적인 생활교통편의를 제공하고 있다. 항로별 수송실적을 분석한 결과, 낙도보조 항로를 이용하는 여객 수가 매년 증가하고 있다. 선박 이용자의 서비스 만족도를 향상시키기 위해서 운영사업체별로 경영평가제를 도입하는 등 보다 구조적인 변화가 요구된다. 이 연구의 결과들은 낙도보조항로 중장기 발전방향 수립에 기초 자료로 활용하는 데 그 의미가 있다.

연구에서는 사업주체 및 사업영역 선정을 중심으로 한국영상물 산업의 물류공동화 전략 및 방안에 대하여 고찰 해보고자 하였다. 본 연구 방법으로는 문헌자료, 보고서, 실증사례를 바탕으로 연구가 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 영상물 물류공동화 전략방안으로는 단기적, 장기적 전략방안으로 구분하여 고찰 하였다. 단기전으로는 하주가 운영을 하면서, 공동운영하는 방법과 장기적으로는 물류업자가 운영을 하면서, 대행위탁사업으로 전개하는 방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 영상물 물류공동화에 한정하여 연구가 진행되어졌다. 향후 타 업종으로 확대하여 연구할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a strategic approach to improve firms competitive advantages by selecting main business body and business sector at the same time. In this study the strategy of an efficient business model for joint logistics is suggested by means of searching for a joint program. The methods applied to this study were literature survey, questionnaire and internet information as well as case studies on advanced domestics and foreign logistics enterprises. The research scope of this study has focused on the joint logistics of SMEs being in the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry sector. The results of this study are shown as follows ; first, in short terms, main business operating body has, second, in long terms, logistics operating enterprise has a direct effect on the joint logistics operation strategy of the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry in Korea. The conclusion of this study shows that this method as a model of consequence to increase the joint logistics implementation successfully.
