        Potentillae Chinensis Herba 추출물의 항산화 효능 평가를 위해 DPPH 자유라디칼 소거 활성 과 ABTS 양이온 라디칼 활성 평가를 시행하였다. 세포 실험에서 항염증 평가를 위해 호흡기 점막 상피세 포 NCI,H292와 RAW264.7 세포 대상으로 항염증 효능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, DPPH 자유라디칼 소거 활성과 ABTS 양이온 라디칼 활성 모두 농도 의존적으로 항산화 활성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 세포 MTT 분석 결과, 각 농도 100 μg/ml로 처리한 경우 NCI-H292 세포의 생존율이 70% 미만으로 감소하 였고, 이후 실험은 50 μg/ml로 진행하였다. 항염증 효능 평가에서는 NO생성, TNF-α, IL-1β, PGE2가 감소하였고, COX-2도 50 μg/ml에서 유의하게 감소하였다. Potentillae Chinensis Herba 추출물과 생물 전환 추출물의 뮤신 단백질 발현은 MUC5AC 발현이 유의하게 감소하는 것으로 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과 는 Potentillae Chinensis Herba의 호흡기 점액 단백질 발현을 도와 염증을 억제하는 기능성 소재로 활용하 는데 가치가 있음을 알 수 있다.

        환경오염에 의한 미세먼지의 증가로 피부는 산화적 손상과 노화가 가속화된다. 본 연구에서는 선발된 한약재 추출물의 항산화, hyaluronic acid, filaggrin, MMP-1, ROS 항목을 평가함으로써 PM10으 로 부터의 각질형성세포 보호 효능을 확인하였다. 그 결과 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH), 2,2'-azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid(ABTS), FRAP assay에서 농도의존적으로 항산화능 이 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 각질형성세포에 PM10 300 ㎍/㎖을 단독으로 처리한 군에서는 hyaluronic acid 및 filaggrin이 50% 이상 감소하였으며, 고량강, 유백피, 토복령 추출물을 처리한 군에서는 증가하였 다. MMP-1의 경우 PM10 단독처리군에는 55% 이상 증가하였으나, 추출물을 처리한 경우 감소하여 콜라 겐, 엘라스틴의 분해를 저해하는 것으로 평가된다. 또한 제브라피쉬 배아를 이용한 ROS 측정의 경우 추출 물을 처리하였을 때 감소되는 것을 확인하였다. 특히 토복령 추출물의 25 μg/ml에서 음성대조군과 유사 한 형광의 세기를 나타내어 ROS의 생성이 유의적으로 감소한 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 선별된 한약재 소재인 고량강, 유백피, 토복령은 미세먼지로부터 피부를 보호하거나 개선할 수 있는 소재로서 피 부 개선을 위한 안티에이징 제품으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

        본 연구에서는 시엽의 기능성 화장품 소재로서의 활용 가능성을 평가하기 위해 항산화와 인 간섬유아세포인 CCD-986sk 세포에서의 항주름 효과를 알아보았다. 전자공여능 측정, ABTS+ radical 소거능 측정을 통해 항산화 활성을 확인한 결과, 시엽은 1,000 μg/ml 농도에서 대조군인 ascorbic acid 와 농도 의존적으로 유사한 항산화 활성을 보였다. Elastase 저해 활성 측정, Collagenase 저해 활성 측 정을 통해 항주름 효과를 확인한 결과, 시엽은 1,000 μg/ml 농도에서 대조군인 epigallocatechin gallate 와 농도 의존적으로 유사한 항주름 효과를 나타내었다. UVB로 유도된 CCD-986sk 세포 내 pro-collagen type I의 합성률과 MMP-1의 저해률을 측정한 결과 대조군인 EGCG는 20 μg/ml에서 90.2%, 시엽은 30 μg/ml에서 88.5%의 pro-collagen 합성률을 보였다. 또한 EGCG 20 μg/ml와 시엽 30 μg/ml에서 각각 33.0%, 40.8%의 MMP-1 저해율을 확인하였다. Western blot을 통하여 시엽의 pro-collagen type I과 MMP-1의 단백질 발현량을 측정한 결과 UVB 단독군 대비 시엽을 함께 처리했 을 때 pro-collagen type I의 단백질 발현량이 증가하고 MMP-1의 단백질 발현량이 감소하는 것을 확 인하였다. 위 실험결과에 따라 시엽이 UVB 자극에 의한 광노화를 예방하고 항산화, 항주름 효과가 있음 을 확인하여 화장품의 천연물 소재로서의 이용이 기대된다.

        Red Chinese cabbage is rich in anthocyanins, with beneficial effects on anti-obesity and lipid profiles. The purpose of this study was to examine the anti-obesity effects of red Chinese cabbage. Four-weeks old Spague-Dawley male rats were divided into four groups for six weeks as follow: Normal Diet (ND), High Fat Diet (HFD), HFD + Red Chinese Cabbage Diet (RCD), HFD + Red Chinese Cabbage Juice (RCJD). After six weeks, the liver weight was significantly higher in the HFD group than in the other groups, and the RCD and RCJD groups showed similar values to the ND group. The epididymal fats were significantly higher in all high fat diets (HFD, RCD, RCJD) than in the ND group and there was statistical significance in the post-tests when comparing the RCD and RCJD groups with the HFD group. Triglycerides significantly decreased in the RCD group. In conclusion, red Chinese cabbage is rich in anthocyanins, with beneficial effects on organ weight and lipid profiles.

        This study aims to establish a seismic resistance performance evaluation method that makes sure to secure the seismic resistance performance of the existing mid-low story reinforced concrete structures. This study focuses on the development of the seismic resistance performance evaluation method for the overall seismic resistance performance evaluation on the buildings by applying fuzzy theory. This seismic resistance performance evaluation method considers the mutual relations among the type of force, the type of member, the type of story, and the states of deterioration of the buildings. The total seismic resistance performance index from this method was calculated by the intensity weight of each evaluation item, fuzzy measure, fuzzy integration. Moreover, the evaluation methodology was established in this study to identify the performance level of the Immediate Occupancy, Life Safe, Collapse Prevention by applying the fuzzy theory.

        Recently, the Korean government has been making efforts to achieve ‘creative economy’ based on science and technology. As part of these efforts, it has been promoted specific policies for innovation and performance enhancement of national R&D projects. They contains commercialization of research outcomes, technology transfer, technology based startup and support small and medium-sized businesses. The railroad transportation industry is a representative in the field of SOC and has own characteristics different from other industry areas. Especially, industry and market of railroad transportation are directly related to planning and implementation of government SOC policies. So in order to promoting commercialization of railroad transportation projects, it is very important to ensure consistency between government policies and R&D projects. In this paper, we investigate barriers of successful commercialization with typical researchers in the area of railroad transportation, and suggest problems and improvements of policy-based commercialization by giving specific examples.

        본 연구에서는 저장볼트(storage vault)의 실험을 위하여 1/4 축소모델 내 튜브의 적정 발열량을 선정하고자 상사해석을 수 행하였다. 저장볼트에 대한 열 및 유동 해석을 우선적으로 수행하였고, 크기를 1/4로 축소한 저장볼트에 대하여 동일한 전 산해석을 수행하였다. 전산해석 결과를 바탕으로, 제안된 무차원수를 비교하여 원형모델과 온도분포와 유동분포가 유사하 게 되는 발열량을 선정하였다. 1/4 축소 저장볼트 내 튜브의 열유속이 1.3배일 때, 원형 저장볼트와 1/4 축소 저장볼트의 온 도장 및 유동장이 상사되었다. 이 때, 1/4 축소 저장볼트 내 발열량은 약 190 W이다.

        This study focused on evaluating the efficiency of the removal of non-point source pollution by Daecheong Lake Juwon Stream constructed wetlands. The constructed wetland system is a surface flow type designed in the year 2007 for purifying eutrophic water of Daecheong Lake Juwon Stream. The value of conductivity, suspended solids(SS), chemical oxygen demand using a potassium permanganate(CODMn), five-day biochemical oxygen demand(BOD5), total nitrogen(T-N), total phosphorous(T-P), and pH in inflow averaged 220.2, 2.46, 3.33, 1.34, 2.00, 0.04 mg/L and 7.24, respectively and in outflow averaged 227.9, 1.12, 3.34, 0.87, 1.16, 0.02 mg/L and 7.45, respectively. The average removal efficiency of constructed wetlands was 30 % for SS, 22 % for BOD5, 45 % for T-N and 31 % for T-P. The removal rates of SS, BOD5 and T-N in the spring, summer and autumn were higher than those in winter. The removal rate of T-P was not significant different in all seasons. The amounts of pollutants removal in the constructed wetlands were higher in the order of 3rd ‹ 2nd ‹ 1st wetland for SS and T-P, 2nd ‹ 3rd ‹ 1st wetland for BOD5 and T-N. Therefore, our findings suggest that the constructed wetlands could well treat the eutrophic Daecheong Lake Juwon Stream waters.

        목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 노인을 위한 전산화 인지평가도구인 코사스의 표준화 자료를 얻고 신뢰도와 공인타당도를 검증하기 위함이다. 연구방법 : 조사연구에 사용된 전산화 인지평가도구는 코사스로 지남력, 기억력, 주의집중, 시지각, 언어능력, 순서화와 계산능력을 평가하는 콘텐츠로 구성되어있으며 프로세스와 데이터결과는 전산화되어 일관성 있고 자동으로 처리된다. 연구대상은 표준화 자료를 얻고 신뢰도를 검증하기 위한 조사에는 60대부터 80대까지 대구시에 거주하는 정상노인 302명이 참여하였다. 한국형 간이정신상태검사(Mini-Mental State Examination for Korean; MMSE-K)와 노인용 인지검사(Cognition Scale for Older Adults; CSOA)와의 상관관계를 통하여 타당도를 검증하기 위한 조사에는 뇌졸중 환자 52명이 참여하였다. 결과 : 정확도 평균점수는 총 64점 중에 45.03점이고 표준편차는 5.58이다. 평균반응시간은 15.14초이고 표준편차는 3.69이다. 문항 간 내적 일치도 계수는 Chronbach’s α=.66이고, 두 검사 집단 간의 유의한 차이는 없었다(p>.05). MMSE-K와의 상관관계는 r=.73이고, CSOA와의 상관관계는 r=.76이다(p<.01). 코사스 검사 세부 영역과 MMSEK와의 상관관계 역시 긍정적인 관계가 나타났으며, CSOA와 코사스의 공통 세부영역 간에도 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 노인용 전산화 인지평가도구인 코사스의 표준자료와 해석기준이 마련되었다. 코사스는 노인의 인지장애를 평가할 수 있는 신뢰성과 타당성을 갖춘 평가도구이다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of food behavior on dietary food intake status and health condition based on research of food behavior and nutritional intake status of university students in the Chungnam area. The average age, height, and weight of the subject group were 22.1 years old, 174.2 ㎝, and 67.0 ㎏ for the male students and 20.9 years old, 161.8 ㎝, and 53.4 ㎏ for the female students, respectively. From the nutritional intake status data, the averaged daily energy intake of both groups, male and female, are lower than the dietary reference intake(KDRI), as 2, 169.2 kcal and 1, 846.2 kcal, males and females, respectively. The lipid intake ratio was higher than the dietary reference figure, and the carbohydrate intake ratio was determined to be in the proper range. Male students(54.6%) and female students(52.0%) of the entire subject group skipped a breakfast mainly due to insufficient time, and the time at which meals were consumed, was determined to be irregular generally. In a day, male and female students have a heavier dinner than lunch(p<0.05), respectively. Meat and fishes are preferred by the entire subject group, and the number of students, who do not eat carrot and mayonnaise(p<0.05), was determined to be the highest, of all foods surveyed. The averaged daily activity coefficient and the resting energy expenditure shows significant difference(p<0.001) between two groups; was 1.7 and 1.6 and the second was 1, 404.3 kcal/day and 1, 292.5 kcal/day for the male and female groups, respectively. As the number of attempting to reduce body weight(p<0.001), the amount smoking(p<0.001), or the frequency of drinking alcohol increases, BMI decreases. On the other hand, as body shape satisfaction increases, BMI increases also.

        Recently, by the whole world paradigm shift to “Low Carbon Green Growth", it is required to renovate National Transportation and Logistics System. Transportation accounts for 21% of the total energy consumption and 20% of the total CO2 emission, and also places its main reliance on fossil fuels. From green point of view, electric railway system is superior to the other transportation alternatives, but also required to develop the innovative technologies for high efficiency and low energy consumption. In this paper, the concept of railway green operation system by regenerative synchronized driving is presented, including the numerical example and the estimated effect.

        In this study, nano-sized tin oxide powder with an average particle size of below 50 nm is prepared by the spray pyrolysis process. The influence of air pressure on the properties of the generated powder is examined. Along with the rise of air pressure from 0.1kg/cm2 to 3kg/cm2, the average size of the droplet-shaped particles decreases, while the particle size distribution becomes more regular. When the air pressure increases from 0.1kg/cm2 to 1kg/cm2, the average size of the dropletshaped particles, which is around 30-50 nm, shows hardly any change. When the air pressure increases up to 3kg/cm2, the average size of the droplet-shaped particles decreases to 30 nm. For the independent generated particles, when the air pressure is at 0.1kg/cm2, the average particle size is approximately 100 nm; when the air pressure increases up to 0.5kg/m2, the average particle size becomes more than 100 nm, and the surface structure becomes more compact; when the air pressure increases up to 1kg/cm2, the surface structure is almost the same as in the case of 0.5kg/cm2, and the average particle size is around 80- 100 nm; when the air pressure increases up to 3kg/cm2, the surface structure becomes incompact compared to the cases of other air pressures, and the average particle size is around 80-100 nm. Along with the rise of air pressure from 0.1kg/cm2 to 0.5kg/cm2, the XRD peak intensity slightly decreases, and the specific surface area increases. When the air pressure increases up to 1kg/cm2 and 3kg/cm2, the XRD peak intensity increases, while the specific surface area also increases.

        The aim of this study was to investigate the quality characteristics of sponge cakes with added rice flour produced by a modified genoise method to prevent volume reduction. A control group and experimental group Ⅰ were prepared by the genoise method and experimental groups Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ were produced by a modified genoise method in which they were mixed with wheat flour and water to a make paste to form gluten for 3, 6, and 9 minutes, respectively. One third of the wheat flour in all experimental groups was replaced by rice flour. The control and experimental groups were compared in terms of quality characteristics, including batter specific gravity, volume, color, textural characteristics, and sensory qualities, to determine the optimal pasting time for wheat flour in the formulation. The specific gravity of the experimental groups was higher than that of the control and decreased with increasing wheat flour pasting time. The volume of experimental group Ⅰ was lower than that of the control group, and the volume values of experimental groups Ⅲ and Ⅳ, made by the modified genoise method, were higher than that of the control group. dL* and db* values for the crust and inside of the cake were lower in the experimental groups than in the control. The dL* value, indicating brightness, increased as pasting time increased. The hardness values of experimental groups Ⅰ and Ⅳ were higher than that of the control whereas experimental groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ had lower hardness values. Chewiness was higher in the control group, as well as experimental groups Ⅰ and Ⅳ than in the experimental groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ. The gumminess of experimental group Ⅳ was highest. Cohesiveness decreased by adding rice flour to the sponge cake. Sensory attributes of cell uniformity, tenderness, moistness, taste, and overall acceptability had the highest scores in experimental group Ⅲ. Based on these results, we conclude that the quality of sponge cake containing one third of the wheat flour replaced by rice flour is best with 6 minutes pasting of the wheat flour to form gluten.

        The government have plans to improve the railway transport capacity and transport hub for the sustainable national transport and logistics system. Specially, there are much efforts to improve transportation capacity such as high speed transportation of rail freight, enlargement of BT train, development of double stack train, etc. between railway transport hubs. If the transport capacity between railway logistics hubs is increased as planned, we must increase the handling capacity of railway hub terminals. But there are limits to enlarge the terminal infrastructure because of investment scale, location circumstances and urban development plans. To ensure the capacity, with the minimum required enlargement of infrastructure, it is necessary to extremely increase the efficiency of terminal operations. For improving the efficiency, we have to introduce the efficient terminal operation systems based on u-IT and operation optimize technologies. In this paper, we analyse the issues and problems of railway terminals(including ICD) and suggest the concept of intelligent railway terminal and the construction components of technology.

        Recently, there are environmental issues for sustainable transportation system to pursue the energy-efficient and environment-friendly public urban transit. These transportation system needs to offer demand-oriented high-quality service being on the same level with cab service for urban space. PRT(Personal Rapid Transit), small track-guided vehicle, is repeatedly mentioned as a possible alternative for the new urban public transportion system, but but there are not many researches on the operational optimal routing for PRT network. In this paper, the concept of PRT and general optimal routing methods are reviewed. And we suggest the optimal routing method for city-wide PRT network with multi-vehicles and stations, junctions and directional arcs. Futher research directions for PRT routing are presented.

        Recently, there are many problems of service qualities such as regular-rapid-safe -comfortable transport, that was traditionally advantages in urban railway transportations. These problems cause train delays that affects consecutive schedule, capacity, operation plans, and it is hard to prevent the propagation of delay and find the recovery solution. Because the urban transport demands is continuously increased and the railway service is also expanded, the railway operation company makes efforts to improve operation performance and efficiency for passengers. In this paper, we analyse the issues and problems existing in the major operation line of high-density urban railways, and suggest the development direction of intelligent operation technology to improve the urban railway service by minimizing the occurrence and propagation of delay. And the result of numerical case study is also presented.

        This study examined the biostability and drug delivery efficiency of g-Fe2O3 magnetic nanoparticles (GMNs) by cytotoxicity tests using various tumor cell lines and normal cell lines. The GMNs, approximately 20 nm in diameter, were prepared using a chemical coprecipitation technique, and coated with two surfactants to obtain a water-based product. The particle size of the GMNs loaded on hangamdan drugs (HGMNs) measured 20-50 nm in diameter. The characteristics of the particles were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-TEM) and Raman spectrometer. The Raman spectrum of the GMNs showed three broad bands at 274, 612 and 771 cm1. A 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay showed that the GMNs were non-toxic against human brain cancer cells (SH-SY5Y, T98), human cervical cancer cells (Hela, Siha), human liver cancer cells (HepG2), breast cancer cells (MCF-7), colon cancer cells (CaCO2), human neural stem cells (F3), adult mencenchymal stem cells (B10), human kidney stem cells (HEK293 cell), human prostate cancer (Du 145, PC3) and normal human fibroblasts (HS 68) tested. However, HGMNs were cytotoxic at 69.99% against the DU145 prostate cancer cell, and at 34.37% in the Hela cell. These results indicate that the GMNs were biostable and the HGMNs served as effective drug delivery vehicles.
