As of 2018, total yield of lettuce and strawberry amounted to 93,543 tons (representing 1.0 percent) and 183,639 tons (2.0 percent), respectively, among total yields worth 9,185,889 tons in South Korea. Lettuce is affected by a combination of numerous elements such as varieties, cultivation methods and pests during each growth phase (Lee et al., 1999). It is mainly cultivated in spring and fall. Especially due to respiration rate after harvest leading to reduced quality and poor storage, maintaining annual supply is unavailable (Jang et al., 2018). With the distribution of new varieties, forcing culture and indoor insulated facilities for plant cultivation during winter, strawberries are produced every year except for late summer and early fall. Due to active respiration, transpiration, soft flesh and high water content, the fruit is vulnerable to go bad and got rotten compared to other fruits. Furthermore, it is difficult to maintain freshness due to the possibility of softening, discoloration and fungi (Lee et al., 2012). In this regard, developing improved storage and package techniques is needed to ensure maintaining quality and safety even just two to three days after harvest. In order to ensure improved quality and safety of strawberries and lettuce after harvest, the present study applied a modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) technology (Mostofi et. al., 2008). Going forward, it compared the quality and safety of the two products while being stored in a way that put them in an MAP-applied container and a plastic container at room temperature and 4 degree Celsius.

Apples are one of the most produced fruits in Korea, with 2,423,000 tons of fruits produced in Korea in 2018, of which 365,000 tons (MAF, 2018) account for about 15% of the total production. For quality safety after harvesting apples, the application of MA(modified atmosphere) packaging technology (Mostofi et. al., 2008) is being actively studied. In addition, the effects of functional packaging materials that have added functions such as fireproof, antibacterial, high-blocking, degradability, and far-infrared radiation have been studied (Chung et al., 2009). In addition, there are reports of the effects of quality changes (Park et al., 2007) and MA storage methods on the quality of apples by packing apples with functional MA films((Park et al., 2004). But there are only few reports on quality safety by analyzing the correlation between the change of reducing sugar and total sugar and preference during storage by packing Geochang, Yeongju, and Yesan apples in functional MA film. Therefore, this study aims to propose a method to secure the quality safety of apples by investigating the effect of sugar change on the preference of apples during storage by packing apples in three regions in functional MA films.

Need to make efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to slow global warming is globally recognized and also appealing to the United Nations. The main cause of greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide, and the nation has 23.9 percent of its total emissions in the transportation sector. It was also reported that 61.56 percent of living waste is being recycled, suggesting that environmentally friendly logistics activities should proceed with efforts on goods and services at each stage of distribution. In this study, we conducted a survey of green logistics activities that were environmentally friendly by businesses, divided into management, water/delivery and packaging waste, and identified the status and level of each business sector. As a result, data was collected from 36 manufacturing companies, 28 distribution businesses, and 40 logistics businesses, all of which were 104 companies, and based on the analysis results, a measure for environmentally friendly logistics activities was proposed.

Inventory information system is providing the benefits of smoother demand, lower inventories(work in process, safety stock) and reduced costs. This study focused on improvement of safety level inventory efficiency by inventory information system. The results indicated that inventory information system allowed the company to serve its customers more surely and efficiently.

However, many troubles have occurred warehouse service because of lack of service standard. Then the customer's lose has increasing cause by service capacity lack of an enterpriser. It is necessary that considering a counter plan for this problem. In this study, we develop warehouse service standard, so that customers lose has decreasing.

Recently, Vendor Managed Inventory(VMI) is commonly recognized as one of the supply chain application that delivers clear value to the sectors of electic& electronic Components. VMI is a process in which a supplier generates orders for its distributor based on demand information sent by the distributor. VMI is providing the benefits of smoother demand, lower inventories and reduced costs. This case study focused on Improvement of Inventory Efficiency by VMI. The results indicated that VMI allowed the company to serve its customers more surely and efficiently.

21세기 첨단영상매체인 디지털 비디오 디스크(DVD)가 지난 1996년 11월 처음 등장한 이래, 올해로 만 8년째를 맞이한 DVD산업은 본격적인 성장기에 접어들고 있다. 하지만 현재 국내 DVD유통업체는 비효율적인 푸시(Push)유통체제로서 유통물류시스템을 가동하고 있다. 따라서 국내 DVD유통관련 업계의 물류비용 절감과 DVD유통(제조업 포함)업계의 사업 참여를 적극 유도하여 선진 유통정보시스템 구현을 통한 산업 경쟁력 확대차원의 사업추진방안이 필요한 실정이다.

연구에서는 사업주체 및 사업영역 선정을 중심으로 한국영상물 산업의 물류공동화 전략 및 방안에 대하여 고찰 해보고자 하였다. 본 연구 방법으로는 문헌자료, 보고서, 실증사례를 바탕으로 연구가 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 영상물 물류공동화 전략방안으로는 단기적, 장기적 전략방안으로 구분하여 고찰 하였다. 단기전으로는 하주가 운영을 하면서, 공동운영하는 방법과 장기적으로는 물류업자가 운영을 하면서, 대행위탁사업으로 전개하는 방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 영상물 물류공동화에 한정하여 연구가 진행되어졌다. 향후 타 업종으로 확대하여 연구할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a strategic approach to improve firms competitive advantages by selecting main business body and business sector at the same time. In this study the strategy of an efficient business model for joint logistics is suggested by means of searching for a joint program. The methods applied to this study were literature survey, questionnaire and internet information as well as case studies on advanced domestics and foreign logistics enterprises. The research scope of this study has focused on the joint logistics of SMEs being in the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry sector. The results of this study are shown as follows ; first, in short terms, main business operating body has, second, in long terms, logistics operating enterprise has a direct effect on the joint logistics operation strategy of the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry in Korea. The conclusion of this study shows that this method as a model of consequence to increase the joint logistics implementation successfully.

This paper is an integrated system with Manure Pallet Pool System(MPPS) and Agricultural products Pallet Pool System(APPS). This is an management tool that helps to successfully reduce logistics cost and improve pallet availability. It allows enterprise leaders to create profit through system structure improvement. Already traditional PPS is implemented by pallet rental company, but it is irrationally. In the integrated system proposed MPPS-and-APPS, this describes how to combine and implement and measure rental pallet rate. Using a newly developed management technique for MPPS-and-APPS, i.e., 2-dimensional contract, this system can motivate manager and employee to develop their company Furthermore, this paper is useful of performance measure and application in operational unit.
