As for the purpose of this study, education facilities must be considered by a change of an education facilities equipment acid education system and aromatic character of an educational policy with a means to support to efficiently proceed education by study about a plan of the school education facilities which considered safety. That is, education facilities must become maintenance on design construction according to education action character and goal. This is not for a function of education to be decided according to education facilities, and education facilities must be decided so that adjustment can do an education function. The student center, a student are convenient, and an actor must do a plan of education facilities with an usable physical space contrariety, future directivity. As for the plan of school education facilities, facilities must be designed on functionality, an economy, flexibility, aesthetic appreciation anger, a foundation of stability for this so that objective of education realization is easy.
Recently occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of social, organizational or psychological context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between safety climates and safety compliance. Based on the responses from 385 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the relationships among safety climates, safety motivation, and safety compliance. The results of statistical analysis showed that all safety climate factors(management involvement, leadership, safety training, precaution activities, safety system) have affirmative effects on safety motivation and safety compliance. Also, safety motivation appeared to have mediating effects on the relationship between 5 safety climate factors and safety compliance. Especially it appeared to have full mediating effects on the relationship between safety training/ safety system and safety compliance.

Safety in the laboratory has been a growing interest due to recent recurrences of the fatal accidents such as physical or chemical explosions. It is not easy to determine the extent to what the industrial safety and health law should be applicable to the laboratory. Most laboratory workers are not sufficiently trained and recognized for the generic features of safety and health. The actual conditions of safety and health in the laboratory are not familar with laboratory workers. Safety and health in the laboratory is unfortunately in the dead ground. Therefore, it is most imperative to secure safety in the laboratory. This study proposes a method to improve safety in the laboratory.
What is the most important in articles of food is hygienic safety. Because food Is the most common thing in our everyday life, however, the importance of its hygienic safety and other many problems caused by food may be easily neglected. What is more, food is can be dangerous as much as it is directly related to human life and accidents from the same cause may have different effects on the victims according to physical and environmental differences of individuals. Thus PL action for food requires more thorough prevention and measure. Korea has been enforcing 'the Product Liability Act' since the 1<SUP>1st</SUP> of July 2002. Product Liability (PL) is liability of the manufacturer or the seller of a product to compensate for the death or injury of consumers or the loss of properties caused by the defect of the product. This study surveyed consumers' response to and the effects of the enforcement of the Product Liability Act, investigated how consumers perceived the importance of food safety and the risk of defective food based on PL standards and their experience in damage by food through a questionnaire survey, and analyzed collected data through empirical analyses (reliability analysis, factorial analysis, regression analysis and ANOVA t-test) using SPSS 10.0. Based on the results of analysis, the researcher proposed strategies for coping with the Product Liability Act in the food industry
The growing importance of product quality is becoming more and more daily apparent as we enter the age of globalization around the world. And the product safety is getting more focus as well as product quality. As a result, many domestic companies are putting a lot of emphasis on safety measures and management activities and these companies' products are mainly superior to other companies' product. When we separate the product quality procedure into 3 steps, i.e. quality secure-quality confirm-quality guarantee, of course the 1st step is the most important, but also End step of product quality confirm process is important. And in mass production environment, sampling inspection is more desirable than the 100 % inspection procedure. As a part of globalization trend, KS system is also being revised and reestablished based on ISO, IEC, etc. which are based on international standard. Conventional KS sampling inspection standards were in many areas quite different from ISO sampling standards, only KS A 3102, 3104, 3151 are left and the rest become obsolete, and even the ones that are still around are planned to the gone step by step. It has been already 3 years since the new KS A ISO 2859-0-3 sampling inspection process has been established which the abolition of the popular KS A 3101, KS A 3105, KS A 3109, yet the implementation rate is very slow. This study will attempt to analyze the new KS A ISO 2859-2 and KS A ISO 2859-3, and try to understand the difference as that the new standard can be easily understood and used widely among companies, by using examples. Our attempt is to help implement with the companies with active safety involvement but the final result can be spread among other companies as well in the near future.
In developing criteria for establishing workstation reach limits, it is essential to select the appropriate anthropometric stereotype for solving a specific design problem. The most important factor for comfortable workstation is to eliminate trunk flexion from the neutral (upright) posture. A solution to this design can be developed using population stature and link length data. This paper provides a methodology for design of comfortable workstation using anthropometric stereotype. Application of this methodology can be utilized in various designs for work space including standing and sitting workplace. For the purpose of this study, the data are measured by some parts on body such as stature, arm length, wrist height, elbow height, and shoulder hight. The samples for this study are randomly chosen from university students in Seoul and Kangnung during sixteen months (2003.3-2004.6).
This study aims to examine the usefulness on the Evaluation Process for the Feasibility & Priority of A Certain Public Projects. and the Methodology used AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) which used pairwise comparisons of the alternatives and criteria for solving discrete alternative multicriteria decision problems. In this paper, we present a similar phenomenon, rank reversal problem, when we apply the AHP to group decision making process. The problem is identified by an example problem in that the previous rank order of Public Projects choices. we also present three different methods to prevent the undesirable characteristic of the original AHP in appling to Decision Making Process.

The rubber-tired AGT vehicle is now on test for its performance and function in the Gyeong-San test line. In this paper, we provide the reliability management plan to assure required the RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability 8t safety) of the AGT vehicle system.
Among the semiconductor If-chips, unlike memory chips, a majority of Application Specific IC(ASIC) products are produced by customer orders, and meeting the customer specified due date is a critical issue for the case. However, to the one who understands the nature of semiconductor manufacturing, it does not take much effort to realize the difficulty of meeting the given specific production due dates. Due to its multi-layered feature of products, to be completed, a semiconductor product(called device) enters into the fabrication manufacturing process(FAB) repeatedly as many times as the number of the product specified layers, and fabrication processes of individual layers are composed with similar but not identical unit processes. The unit process called photo-lithography is the only process where every layer must pass through. This re-entrant feature of FAB makes predicting and planning of due date of an ordered batch of devices difficult. Parallel machines problem in the photo process, which is bottleneck process, is solved with restricted roll out algorithm. Roll out algorithm is a method of solving the problem by embedding it within a dynamic programming framework. Restricted roll out algorithm Is roll out algorithm that restricted alternative states to decrease the solving time and improve the result. Results of simulation test in condition as same as real FAB facilities show the effectiveness of the developed algorithm.
A multi axis whetstone polishing system, which uses the flow system of the stone polishing machine head, has been developed. The test results show that the defect by line contact polishing does not occur in both ends of the stone and that it came to trim smoothly. In terms of the surface roughness, the corresponding index was decreased by 3.6 times, improving the polishing effect greatly. It decreased significantly the dust and noise with the wet polishing. The factors of the duty evasion at production site can thus be solved with the work environment improvement against the polishing process of the stone industry and work intensive reduction.
The injection mold industry has strong relationship with many other industries. In the injection mold industry, the harmonious collaboration of the order-making companies, the mold-making companies, and the molded-parts making companies, which are distantly located, is very important. In this study, a web-based collaboration system is developed for the purpose. It offers the criterion to select appropriate production companies. It also tries to minimize the production cost of the mold design by distributing and evaluating the design information. The developed system is constructed using various recent web-programming tools.
This paper deals with an efficient and effective method on measuring, monitoring and evaluating safety and environmental performances of a process using SPC control charts. We propose 7 safety control charts as a tool to monitor hazard dendritics, and we propose 15 environment control charts to monitor pollution emissions. We also propose useful guidelines that SPC(Statistical Process Control) control charts can be used for safely and environmental monitoring.
This study develops a improved gate assignment algorithm and decision support system using its algorithm to extract a assignment result minimizing a walking distance of passengers in airport and maximizing the utilization rate of avaliable gates in domestic airports. By operation support system, it may contribute greatly in efficient enlargement of airport operation and increase the airport reliability through quickly coping with takeoff and landing delay of flight due to weather change, preservation and repair of gate, etc. Also, passengers who use airport terminal can minimize time and walking distance for departure, arrival, and transit, and it may greatly reduce the additional operation cost for common gates through maximizing the utilization rate for exclusive usage gates for airplanes which use gates.
This development has tried to scheme out the convenience for users to use the 3D modeling solution which is developed from the existing programs. The extended 3D modeling solution, to be developed through the use of the API which is provided and Microsoft Access, database is able to reuse the parts, subassemblies of parts, and assemblies. A methodology exhibits the possibility to use a Spinfire Professional Spinfire Reader program. The web evaluation system, which is used to connected with the Internet explorer and to construct a web service, will repeat the evaluations of the company staffs and customers about the new products which the company have designed. The furniture manufacturing company will adopt the 3D modelling solution in modelling the new products and go through the web evaluation system to collect dissatisfied facts of the customers or the company staffs against the new product. Finally, it will contribute to the enormous benefit creation of the enterprise.
Likelihood of failure for the external corrosion of carbon and low alloy steels, which affect to a risk of facilities, was analyzed quantitatively through the risk based inspection using API-581 BRD. We found that the technical module subfactor (TMSF) decreased as the inspection number increased and it increased as the Inspection effectiveness and the used year increased. In this condition, the TMSF showed high value for the case of the marine/cooling tower drift area as a corrosion driver, poor quality of coating, no insulation, and low insulation condition.
