In this paper, computer simulation was used for researching into the estimate of flash over result from compartment fire and the characteristics operation of sprinkler RTI. Computing simulation, we analyzed and verified the path of the flame in compartment fire and the adaptation of sprinkler system concerned with sprinkler RTI.

This provided a basic frame to analyze the investment effect on the road, railroad, airport and port as a national dimension but it still has a limitation to analyze the specific economic and financial validities to consider the characteristics of the traffic facilities within the area. Conclusively, the aims of this study provide the reasonable evaluation guidelines effectively to the local automatic groups, especially Chungju in the frame of the present evaluation guidelines. We provide the adaptive alternatives on the present systems which are difficult to adapt to the present investment evaluation guidelines; the estimation method of the social economic index and the estimation method of the traffic demand. Additionally, we discuss the research method of the passage actual state for a reasonable estimation of the traffic demand. The result of this study will be activated for the validity check and construction plan of the reasonable traffic investment plan of Chungju city.

Enormous stocks by the reduced life cycle of products caused by the technological innovation in later 20 century, development of new materials and diversified demands of customers appeared as the pressing element causing the trouble in management of companies, and when considering the logistic costs that are imposed to companies in terms of function, the costs related to the stock topped the list of costs, followed by the transportation ones, and for pallet pool system, inventory of stocks is very difficult by the number of companies. Reducing the logistic cost may be accomplished by numbers of logistic management methods, but the most fundamental and essential one is the accomplishment of the consistent pallet system that is the core of unit load system, and the purpose of consistent pallet system is the treatment of logistic functions such as transportation, storage and unloading with consistent pallet system, and increasing the turnover ratio is required for the improvement of the system. As the turnover ratios is increased, more pallets will be used so, numbers of empty pallets will be increased accordingly by returning the pallet. Therefore, in this study, we will establish the effective stock management system by comparing with the other existing stock management system after looking at the concept and examples of pallet full system in order to resolved this kind of problem.

This study intend to make easy modification, even if there is a new job or structure change, by modularizing program and computerize and automation of production control management used in CIM. Under the condition where manager control production on the job-site, for increasing connection with other operation and management on the computer by monitoring center computer, Recognizing information by computer is needed, it is possible by converting transaction. So production increase and quality improvement are possible by diminishing manager's and producer's work with the result of the study combining POP and CIM, after that, in e-business and m-business period that every enterprise must pass, customer satisfaction and sales promotion are possible with employee's computerizing minds. These study result also can knowledge process condition with theoretical class and have a power in finding a solution with foundation of theoretical knowledge.

The logistics cost in Korea is very higher than that of the other countries. Thus, we propose to the way to reduce company's logistics cost in the paper industry. Each company in the paper industry is having its particular sized pallets and using them to manufactured products, store, deliver, retrieve empty pallet and so on. In this reason, the logistics cost is still increasing. As the common introduction of Pallet Pool System to "Paper Industry", the logistics cost could be reduced up to 24% and 1.8 billion won saved approximately, and it possibly attributes to the increase of company profit and the strength of the company competitiveness.itiveness.

The sequence which minimizes overall utility work in car assembly lines reduces the cycle time, the number of utility workers, and the risk of conveyor stopping. This study suggests mathematical formulation of the sequencing problem to minimize overall utility work, and present a genetic algorithm which can provide a near optimal solution in real time. To apply a genetic algorithm to the sequencing problem in car assembly lines, the representation, selection methods, and genetic parameters are studied. Experiments are carried out to compare selection methods such as roullette wheel selection, tournament selection and ranking selection. Experimental results show that ranking selection method outperforms the others in solution quality, whereas tournament selection provides the best performance in computation time.

Scheduling plays an important role in shop floor planning. A scheduling shows the planned time when processing of a specific job will start on each machine that the job requires. It also indicates when the job will be completed on every process. Thus, it is a timetable for both jobs and machines. There is only one server available and arriving work require services from this server. Job are processed by the machine one at a time. The most common objective is to sequence jobs on the severs so as to minimize the penalty for being late, commonly called tardiness penalty. Based on other objectives, many criteria may serve as s basis for developing job schedules. The process also comprises all strategic planning, capital investments, management decisions, and tasks necessary to create a new product. manufacturing processes must be created so that the product can be produced in the product facility. Purchasing new equipment and training workers may be required if new technology is to be used. Tools, fixtures, and the sequence of steps in the manufacturing processes must all be developed to allow rapid, high-quality, cost effective production. Also, it may be needed to be rearrange the production facility to adapt to the new manufacturing processes. Therefore, this study tries to proposed that Scheduling by customer needs group for minimizing the problem and reducing inventory, product development time, cycle time, and order lead time.

Utilization rate for the gate and required time and walking distance to boarding flight are important measures for the gate management and passenger's convenience estimation. So, the main purpose of the gate management are the maximization of utilization rate and improvement of airport terminal user's convenience through the efficient gate management. This study intends to maximize the utilization rate of usable gates by considering layout, terminal configuration, local passenger of the airport and development of gate assignment algorithm and DSS which maximizes the gate utilization and minimizes the passengers' walking distance. And the decision support system can provide an efficient means of airport management of airport using an assignment algorithm.

A study to analyze and solve problems of a stone surface process experiment has presented in this paper. We have taken Taguchi's parameter design approach, specifically orthogonal array, and determined the optimal levels of the selected variables through analysis of the experimental results using S/N ratio.

To comparison the surface treatment methods of stone board materials, the results of Dorry's abrasive test were 23.4 for water-jet system and 18.9 for flame-burner system. Therefore abrasive hardness, the stone board materials by the water-jet system was greater than one by flame-jet system. As a result of Shore's hardness test, the stone board materials by water-jet system was twice greater than one by flame-jet system. Authors carried out microscopic observation to survey a defection of the composition minerals for two methods, but all of the both methods have not founded a defection. Therefore, the stone board materials by water-jet system was greater durability than one by flame-jet for the surface treatment methods.

In this thesis, using the 400 series ferrite stainless steel such as 434LD2 which are furter excellent then the existing ferric products in mechanical characteristics, and experiment has been conducted on corrosion resistance of sensor ring. The results are following. 1. The products before sintering are much more corrodible in the condition of spray test of salt water and ammonia than humidity and nitrogen condition. 2. 434LD2 ferrite stainless steel has shown a good corrosion resistance without an addition surface treatment. thus the decreasing production process has been obtained. 3. As hardness value of HRB 80 and tensile test, 434LD2 ferrite stainless steel with show a good endurance when it is combined to constant velocity joint (c/v joint), and has a good hardness properties endurable to sand and pebble impact.
