This study conducted the questionnaire on present condition of certification, background, purpose, effect and promotion of an occupational health & safety management system which introduced in domestic from 1999'. The questionnaire was conducted with 136 companies which replied in questionnaire distributed to 193 companies which received the certification. Also, recognition improvement of managers and participation of workers are demanded, the support to subcontract companies is demanded because the disaster prevention effect of the companies which possess the support program on subcontract companies is good, and reduction in the insurance rate to companies which received certification is demanded to activate an occupational health & safety management system.
The purpose of this study is to know the status of prevention on health obstacle in industries with confined space. Total 190 respondents, 95 safety or health managers and 95 confined space workers from 95 industries with confined space are surveyed by hygienists from April 2003, to July 2003. The contents of survey include health-work program in confined space, instrument of oxygen sampling, equipment of ventilation, safety and health education, watching manager, head count, awakening of risk, air condition and emergency training. The results are as follows: 1. It is found 38% of respondents established health-work program in confined space. The percentage of respondents with instrument of oxygen sampling and equipment of ventilation, operation of safety and health education, posting of watching man and operation of head count are 42%, 35%, 75%, 46% and 56%, respectively. 2. The percentage of awakening of risk, confirm of air condition and operation of emergency training are 36%, 25% and 15%, respectively.
In this paper, we select evaluation criteria by construction progress, classify into several categories, and regard potential danger which often occurs, as a evaluation criterion. Further step is to allow workers or collaborated companies to express their expert opinions or experiences and to encourage quality and process control and autonomous safety control by applying PSM method. The reason why PSM method should be quantitative and substantial progress is because it contributes Korean constructing companies to enhancing their safety control ability and to taking an equal stance just like developed countries,' thereby strengthening there competitive edges. Boost of safety control system by PSM method will make an enormous contribution to preventing construction accidents on the site by establishing and securing an autonomous safety control system.
Domestic industry calamity rate did decrease in large numbers by many efforts of the safety and health organizations. But that is low yet among the OECD countries. Calamities are started In most work inexperience and safety consciousness absence. So, we can know that education is how important. Domestic small and medium enterprises are in trend that industrial accident is increased by deterioration of hardware, not enough preparedness of safety equipments. But, the safety and health education had not been utilized so far effectively and applied systematically. Therefore, the most important among many means to reduce calamity is the safety and health education. An efficient education will supply suitable knowledge and technology to work people. And that will lead to prevent accident by building right habit and attitude. This research did the survey about problems of education that is enforced in small and medium enterprises. That survey is done to three groups of workers, administrators and managers. We compared domestic safety and health education system and advanced foreign system. And, analyzed problems and presented a solution. Finally, this research presented efficient operation model of the safety and health education suitable to domestic medium and small enterprises.
This study suggests a safety management model for construction management (CM) suitable to domestic conditions so that inefficiency resulted from the operation of construction projects by public and private institutes according to different systems can be eliminated for the securing of systematic and efficient safety management. Based on the suggested safety management model, this study also develops a safety management information system that can efficiently and consistently manage and maintain a large quantity of information, and give necessary supports in a speedy way in the managing of construction projects.
Occupational illness analyses are used to identify common factors contributing to occupational illness and to give recommendations for illness prevention. We discuss safety and health management policies based on the present status of MSDS(Musculoskeletal Disorders) characteristics and the actual safety and health problems. These results can be used to develop more effective occupational safety and health management policies for the prevention of MSDS.
Recently, WRMSD(Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders) that can be frequently found among simple and repetitious works has been a big occupational safety issue, and has begun to being studied actively by many Korean researchers. However, those researches have been largely relied on foreign ones, due to the lack of basic data in Korea. In this study, we have tried to search the actual conditions and factors on WRMSD of press workers in a local company. In addition, we examined how the contents of works and postures of the workers affect the disease. It is expected that the data collected in this study will be able to used for planning the preventive measures on WRMSD effectively and for implementing its corresponding programs.

Recently many researchers contributed to the understanding of Quality Control System, but the use of economics in the design of quality assurance system is limited in treatment of the relationship between the average incoming quality level (or average process quality level) of the incoming lot and the average outgoing quality level of this lot. In this study, a traditional concept of sampling inspection plan for the quality assurance system is extended to a consideration of economic aspects in total production system by representing and analyzing the effects between proceeding and succeeding production process including inspection process. This approach recognizes that the decision at each manufacturing process (or assembly process), is to be determined not only by the cost and the average outgoing quality level of that process, but also by the input parameters of the cost and the incoming quality to the succeeding process. By analyzing the effects of the average incoming and outgoing quality, manufacturing or assembly process quality level and sampling inspection plan on the production system, mathematical models and solution technique to minimize the total production cost for a general product manufacturing system with specified average outgoing quality limit are suggested.

In this study we improved the productivity of the assembly line in the electronics company using man-machine chart. The results are applicable for improving the effectiveness of line balancing problems in the electronics industry.

The traditional Kanban needs a lot of preconditions for fitting conditions of dynamic production processing environment. The traditional Kanban isn't suitable conditions of dynamic production processing environment. Therefore conditions of dynamic production processing environment is needed more stable system. This study is describe CONWIP system such as suitable in dynamic production processing environment. Most Pull system is a Kanban system than use Kanban cards or signal for production management and inventory control. The object of Kanban system is reducing inventory between shop-floor that can reduce inventiry cost. If the system reduce the number of Kanban cards would be reduce the working process WIP, can be reduced and can be found all potential problem of production between shop-floors. Today, the size of a parcel delivery service market, which is a part of logistics, at home and abroad has been extended rapidly and its growth rate is expected to increase hereafter. At this point, when service is applied strategically in a parcel delivery service, we need to understand the feature of logistics service quality by view of customer differentiation. In this study, we try to constitute a model of the feature of logistics service, which is combined five features of service quality (Responsiveness, Empathy, Reliability, Accuracy and Tangibility) based on measuring model of SERVQUAL with logistics service, and to know the feature of logistics service from parcel delivery service by jobs with statistical tool.
This paper suggests the process of performance measurement system development for B2B e-Marketplace using BSC (Balanced Scorecard). As the first step, main features and factors affecting performance of e-Business company and especially of B2B e-Marketplaces were derived based on the literatures. For the 2nd step, the nonnative performance measurement model for B2B e-Marketplace was suggested. Especially, the research range that the model covers is restricted to the neutral and systematic sourcing B2B e-Marketplace. And, the performance measurement model was based on BSC, for the BSC is very powerful and sound tool among all the available performance measurement systems.
