        Metabolomics aims at the comprehensive, qualitative and quantitative analysis of wide arrays of endogenous metabolites in biological samples. It has shown particular promise in the area of toxicology and drug development, functional genomics, system biology and clinical diagnosis. In this study, analytical technique of MS instrument with high resolution mass measurement, such as time-of-flight (TOF) was validated for the purpose of investigation of amino acids, sugars and fatty acids. Rat urine and serum samples were extracted by selected each solvent (50% acetonitrile, 100% acetonitrile, acetone, methanol, water, ether) extraction method. We determined the optimized liquid chromatography/time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC/TOFMS) system and selected appropriated columns, mobile phases, fragment energy and collision energy, which could search 17 metabolites. The spectral data collected from LC/TOFMS were tested by ANOVA. Obtained with the use of LC/TOFMS technique, our results indicated that (1) MS and MS/MS parameters were optimized and most abundant product ion of each metabolite were selected to be monitorized; (2) with design of experiment analysis, methanol yielded the optimal extraction efficiency. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be useful in the endogenous metabolite fields according to validated SOP for endogenous amino acids, sugars and fatty acids.

        Since it was developed by Joseph Aspdin, cement has been a common construction materials up to the present time.However, there are trace constituents in cement clinker. One of the trace constituents included in cement clinker, chromium,has become prominent and highly noticed lately as a social issue both inside and outside of this country because it affects thehuman body negatively. The aim of the present study was to investigate the concentration of water-soluble hexavalent chromiumin cement clinker by using industrial by-products. For that reason, raw materials were prepared to add different SiO2 , Al2O3,and Fe2O3 sources. After the raw materials such as the limestone, the sand and the clay, iron ore was pulverized and mixed,and the raw meal was burnt at about 1450oC in a furnace with an oxidizing atmosphere. The part in the raw materials of theclinker was substituted with slag, sludge, etc. and this was used to manufacturing cement clinker. To investigate the water-soluble hexavalent chromium content in clinker, raw meal was prepared by changing the modulus, the type, and the contentof clinker materials and tested concentrations of hexavalent chromium in the clinkers. To determine Cr+6 formation of theclinker, tests were done with raw meals adding chromium by using different industrial by-products. Consequently because thechromium was to be included in the raw materials of the clinker, production of Portland cement clinker was included with thechromium. Also, the chromium was converted into hexavalent chromium in the burning process.

        In modern society as people adapt to social and cultural changes, people prefer high-scarcity designed products rather than standardized ones. Consequently, this adaptation lays a foundation in art and cultural domains to express uniqueness and individuality. The purpose of this study is to develop fashion designs by fusing fashion painting and handicraft techniques through creative and various artistic expressions. The researchers studied the sociocultural background of modern handicraft fashion using document-based research methods. Based on the characteristics of modern handicraft, we produced six garments that applied fashion painting techniques. In this study, the origin of fashion painting was found in ornaments such as tattoo or body-painting. We determined that modern designers were using various fashion painting techniques and motives as unique and advanced ornamentary skills. Harmonizing various handicraft techniques(dyeing, embroidery, quilt, patchwork, beads, fashion painting, etc.) centered on fashion painting enabled creation of unique fashion design through varieties of artistic expressions.

        The purpose of this study was to explore optimal flow experiences of students in an online learning environment for the Chinese language. Based on prior studies, the study adapted the framework of flow theory which consists of 9 sub-factors: challenge, awareness, goal-oriented, feedback, concentration, control, self-consciousness, sense of time, and intrinsic rewarding. The study showed that students had flow experiences in an online learning environment for the Chinese language. The findings by correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis indicated that all the sub-factors of the flow construct are positively co-related to overall learning satisfaction as well as students" perceptions on online learning processes and their task accomplishments. In particular, one flow sub-factor is called "control" was identified to have more predictive power to explain perceived satisfaction for online foreign language learning, which might eventually influence students" actual learning outcomes.

        Recently, numerous government institutions and information service organizations have shown interests in employing ISO 9001 Quality Management System to increase their organizational performances. However, due to the gap between the system requirements and the process oriented goals in reality, they have not been able to merit from the ISO 9001 system. The primary goal of this paper is to propose a process oriented approach for implementing ISO 9001 system in information service organizations. This approach is different from the existing approaches in that it utilizes process mapping and 3-color improvement strategies. The proposed approach is illustrated using the K information service organization case study.

        자외선 검출소자로 응용될 수 있는 우수한 특성을 지진 AlxGa1-xN 박막을 MOCVD 법으로 성장시킨 후 박막의 구조적인 특성을 조사하였다. 사파이어 기판 위에 성장된 AlxGa1-xN의 물리적인 특성을 평가하기 위해 Synchrotron Radiation XRD를 사용하였다. AlxGa1-xN의 두께가 커질수록 박막의 결정성은 증가하였으며 아래층은 Undoped GaN의 결정성과 성장된 AlxGa1-xN의 결정성이 서로 비례적인 상관관계를 가지고 있음을 알아내었다. Al 조성비는 막질에 크게 영향을 주었으며 조성비가 높아질수록 표면 형상은 매우 나빠졌다.

        다공질 실리콘층(Porous Silicon LayerLPSL)을 사용하여 저온 열산화 (500˚C, 1시간)와 급속 열산화공정(rapid thermal oxidationLRTO)(1150˚C, 1분)을 통하여 저온 산화막을 제조하였다. 제조된 산화막의 특성을 IR흡수 스펙트럼, C-V 곡선, 절연파괴전압, 누설전류, 그리고 굴절률을 조사함으로써 알아보았다. 절연파괴전압은 2.7MV/cm, 누설전류는 0-50V 범위에서 100-500pA의 값을 보였다. 산화막의 굴절률은 1.49의 값으로서 열산화막의 굴절률에 근접한 값을 나타냈다. 이 결과로부터 다공질 실리콘층을 저온산화막으로 제조할 때, RTO공정이 산화막의 치밀화(densification)에 크게 기여함을 알 수 있었다.
